Buffer Issue in CRM2007 Interaction Center

Hi Experts,
We are facing one buffer issue in IC and the detailed process is:-
1) We open any account in IC and based on that account we have an Alert Ex:- Alert1.
2) Now we end the interaction and leave the IC window open.
3) Now we open a new WebClient session and change the alert message of the same BP to Alert2.
4) Now when we confirm the same BP again in the opened window of IC it still displays us the old Alert1
This problem is because the changes that we have done using WebClient is not available in IC and IC is reading the data from old buffer.
Any inputs or help will be highly appreciated.

Do you mean the u201CDial Padu201D button?? How should it work? Does it take the phone number of the customer confirmed in the IC?
In our case, when we click on this button, we have the option of writing a phone number and click later on Select. Does the u201CSelectu201D button launch the outgoing call??
In previous versions, we had the option (In CIC0) to select the Customer or the Contact Person and click on the Call button, action that automatically took the phone number and prepared the call with this number? Is it able to reproduce the same behaviour in CRM 2007??

    Can someone help? this is about icwc follow-up issue.
    1. I create a service order and save.
    2. then I create a an interaction record and  save.
    3. I can observe in the service order the relationship "Role:Interaction, DOcument Type: CRM Bus. Activity". But not the
    relationship "Follow up document".
    I have a "Business Transaction Profile" for interaction center where the Activity is the main and service order is dependent
    business transactions. Because, not all the customer when make a call want to create a service order, some only want to
    register a feedback or make an appointment.
    However, In my activity, I can observe in the Activity Clipboard my service order, but I need the SAP assigned the
    relationship "Follow-up" for assign an action for close the follow-up document when close my service order.
    What is wrong....? can someone help...

    Based on your remark about confirming the account first, I assume you are working with IC 4.0 or 5.0.
    The service order is created as a dependent business transaction of the interaction record. The interaction record is automatically created when you confirm the account.
    The relationship type in document flow is INTA.
    It's true that you can only create activity types as real follow-ups of an interaction record (using the follow-up view).
    However, technically it should be possible to also create other business object types as follow-up of the interaction record. You might need to enhance the transaction type drop-down listbox in the follow-up view. You also need to make sure that your interaction record is error-free.
    As of CRM2006s it is possible in standard to create any business object type as follow-up of an interaction record.

  • Issue with Interaction Account in Interaction center

    Hi All,
    I am working in Interaction center:
    Current Scenario: If an Agent interacts with more than one account on the same call, the service request is always attached to the first account interacted with. This issue seems to be because the Agent cannot press the 'End' button to close the first account interacted with as this would cut the customer off.
    This issue occurs if during a call a CSR interacts with an account, realizes it is not the correct account, presses the red X cancel button (because they cannot use End), locates the correct account and makes the requested changes in the correct account. When the Service Request is created, it will attach to the first account which is not the account the changes were made in.
    Requirement: Now requirement is to attach Service request to second account / Or the when user lock the second account then first account should be deleted/cleared so that it could not find the first account.
    can anyone please suggest where should I write the code and how can I read the first account to delete it. OR how can I attach the SR in the second a/c.?

    Thanks for reply. here I am showing the screen shot how it is considering the first account:
    This is the first a/c-1000008531 I taken. Now I cancelled this a/c by clicking on red(X) Icon.
    Again locking the second a/c - 1000008532 without pressing END button
    Now when I go to create Service request then it consider the First a/c - 1000008531
    here I am not pressing SAVE button so once Service Request is clicked from below option after confirming the second a/c then it should consider the second a/c only.
    Please let us know where should I write the code to overwrite the second a/c.?

    It did not cover KM or CTI both of which are fully integrated with the Employee Interaction Center.
    You can also integrate to a 3rd Party knowledge repository "through" KM into EIC via delivered BADI's

  • Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order

    We are in the process of upgrading from CRM 4.0 sp 6 to CRM 2007.  We have been using the Web IC and Mobile sales for the last 4 years.  In our original CRM 4.0 implementation (which was developed by SAP) we were using the CRM Web IC to create orders with R/3 using a couple of BADI's.  We are currently using R/3 4.7 and have plans to upgrade to ECC 6.0 next year.  I was just rereading some of the documentation in the upgrade guide and came across the following line:
    "The following software units are required for the Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order scenario:
    Mandatory:  IC WebClient with specific ERP Sales order viewset requires SAP ECC 6.0"
    This implies that the standard Interaction Center Sales with ERP Sales Order functionality will not work in our current landscape and that it would only do so when we upgrade to ECC.  What options are open to us to get around this?  What is the technical reason why this functionality doesn't work with SAP R/3 4.7?
    I can't imagine we are the first company to face this problem and I can't imagine everyone upgraded to ECC 6 - so what approaches have people taken to address this issue

    In the last 12 months we upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0 in CRM and went form 46C to ECC 6.0.
    In your current landscape you can create orders in the ICWC where the order is created in CRM and replicates to R/3 4.7.     You have the replication scenarios X, Y, Z available to you.
    Your other option is using the ICWC R/3 order screen where you basically are calling R/3 transaction VA01 and entering the order in the ICWC but the order entry in being done directly into R/3 via your ITS server.  Looks almost exactly like VA01 in the gui.  The menu bars are a little different. 
    The ERP order looks like other ICWC screens,  is very sharp and users wouldn't know that they are entering the order directly in ECC.  We have been using it about 3 months.  More Pro's than Con's, if you have user exits in MV45AFZ* the ERP order still uses them  (but t-code isn't VA01 if you have condition If statements around t-codes).

  • Empty ticket creating in Interaction Center

    As i am new to SAP CRM Technical, i need help.
    User is able to create a new service ticket in Interaction center. and ticket with number is getting created and saving data in SAP. Issue is.. when user edits the existing ticket and save it, it creates a new empty ticket instead of editing.Why this is happening? PLease help me

    The standard behaviour should be like that:
    New business transactions: If you create a new business transaction, then an interaction record should be created
    Editing of existing business transaction: After pressing END, if you search for a business transaction for example in agent inbox and just edit it (without creating an E-Mail, or navigating to Interaction Record view), really just edit the business transaction and then press END, then no interaction record should get created.
    If in your system without enhancement an interaction record gets created for use case (2) then you might open an support incident and ping me the number.

  • "Transaction Cancelled" in Interaction Center

    CRM Experts,
    I am facing issues while working with CRM 2007 Interaction Center. After confirming the Business Partner, when I move to Interaction Record or Complaint, all the fields are Greyed out and on top of the screen there is a message "Transaction Cancelled".
    I have assigned IC_BT Function Profile in my Business Role. Also CONTENT_MGMT Function Profile is set to DEFAULT.
    If I click on "Retun to Current Interaction Record" in the Recent Interaction History, it starts working fine.
    Please advise.

    This error occurs due to missing parameters in runtime framework profile.
    Create a new runtime framework profile with the following values
    Separate Display Mode  -  ON
    Application          -         BSPWD_BASICS
    View Set Name    -   WorkAreaHostViewSet
    View Area Name  -   WorkAreaView
    History Type       - Simple History Stack
    Operation Mode  - automatic Recording of changes in work area
    Max. Entries -
    and add the  following custom controllers to runtime framework profile.
    CRMCMP_BPIDENT         CuCoIdentification
    CRMCMP_UIEVENT      CuCoUiEvents
    ICCMP_BT_GLOBAL         CuCoIRec
    ICCMP_FEEDBACK         FeedbackCuCo
    assign this runtime framework profile  to your business role.This will resolve your issue.

  • Changing the Date in an Activity of the Interaction Center WinClient

    Hi Experts
    I am working with an activity in the Interaction Center WinClient and i need to change the Date To of the Activity depending on the Reason i choose in the document.
    I found out that in CRMD_SERV_SLA - Maintain Availability and Response Times you can set the an specific time depending on the reason of the activity you are working on, but i don't know how to change the Date To of the Activity when i select a specific reason, which already have the respective duration value defined in the transaction mentioned above.
    I would appreciate the help on this issue and it sure will be rewarded with points.

    You have to user a header level badi, i.e CRM_ORDERADM_H_BADI
    Here in you can access your activity and can use CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to change the date.

    We currently have Interaction center ( CRM application) integrated in our Portal ( EP 7.0). Due to some issues, we need to create an URL iview for Interaction center instead of a BSP application.
    Pls let me know what parameters should I mention to link interaction center in portal.
    For BSP ivew we just mentioned the application name and the backend alias.

  • Can we have more than one Transaction type in Interaction Center in 7.0

    We are currently upgrading from CRM 5.0 to 7.0. We have an Interaction Center that has about 30 transaction types defined in the action boxes that we want to use in the CRM Web UI in 7.0. Is it possible to use more than one Business Activity (Sales) transaction in the WebUI? I see that you can configure them for follow-ups but when I view the Business transaction profile configuration , it only allows me to apply 1 transaction , say 0010 or ZC01.  When I launch the Web UI, I see the transaction say ZC01 in the upper left corner.  We would like to be able to launch the Web UI and the ability to create activities for more than 1 transaction type. Is this possible ?

    Can we pull employee from one trusted system and in the same way can we pull some contractors from other trusted system simultaniously?
    yes you can. In the schedule task you'll have to put your query in such a way that it brings both data.
    Can both trusted systems can be active at the same time pulling two types of users from two trusted systems?
    You have to run both recon in sequential manner so that it can pull correct data for OIM
    Some where i read in doc that only one target system can be designated as trusted system if it as has more than one the recons will not work properly...
    I don't think that it results into issue. But we have to see the sequence mainly. Otherwise it will results into wrong data

    We are using CRM 7.0 interaction center. Please suggest the solution for below issues.
    Is there a way to display an alert(a popup) to agent about an incoming email assigned to his group or in coming email assigned.
    Also is there any possibility to display an alert to show about transactions assigned to him while agent working in interaction center.

    Yes it is possible, but not using standard alerts though.
    You need to check rule editor to create own logic for retrieving the information to display as alert, and stock it into the fact  base.
    Then create an alert on this fact base attribute.
    Finally create, via IDI, a rule to display the alert.
    These are the basic steps for your need, you will find many example on SCN regarding IDI and alerts.

    As far as I can see you've got the classes, methods and lines where the issue is happening... so did you try to set a breakpoint and see what is causing the issue? You'll probably find out that an entity is not bound: so the question you'll to answer is why...

  • Session time out up to # hours for Interaction center

    Hi Experts,
    I want increase the web ui session time out up to # hours. I tried using SMICM and Technical Profile. But using these options i could not achieve such long session. I tried using RZ 11 icm keep alive parameter, but the effect will apply for all the applications in the CRM WEB UI. 
    I want do this for only Interaction center application not for all other application in CRM WEB UI .
    Please help me how I can do this.

    Hi Dinesh,
    This cannot be achieved without development enhancements to some standard SAP framework component, to introduce a "keep-alive" concept. If you are using a CMS for CTI or email integration, you need to ensure it supports keeping the communications session alive also.

    Dear Colleagues,
    In Customer Interaction Center (CIC), search is possible based on Customer(Activity Partner).
    But in general Scenario, in Mobile Sales, Sales Representative will assigne some activity to Person Responsible (CIC agent). Now CIC agent will go to his desktop and he should have facility to search based on his employee number. Here I am talking about the Employee based search. I am been told that we need to have Employee interaction center for this.
    Any other suggestions on this will really be appreciated.
    My main concern is to have Employee based search in CIC.
