Bug en la version 10.1.3

Hola,

Hi,
Okay, I just found out how to get the new version. You will need access to Metalink.
Login and click on Patches & Updates. Do a simple search for patch number 5518499 (Windows 32-bit client).
Without knowing the patch number you can't find the file. The only way I know of finding out the patch number is by logging an SR (and you will also need to know that a new version has been released).
Hope that helps,
D

We're sorry, we hit a bug!
Please inform the webmaster for this site of this problem. Printing of traceback and other system information has been explicitly inhibited, but the webmaster can find this information in the Mailman error logs.
Anyone know how to solve the issue that when you click on the link to the message that you get when you join a mailing list you get the above text on the page?

    Hello Tom,
Running "sudo /usr/share/mailman/bin/check_perms -f" from the command line should resolve this issue. It should be noted that anytime you run repair permissions it re-breaks the mailman permissions and the command has to be run again.
    Hope that helps!

  • Fixing bugs in earlier versions

    Hi
Could someone clarify what Adobe's policy is regarding fixing bugs in earlier versions than the current, in particular
Adobe have agreed there is a problem importing footage from Atomos Ninja regarding the audio channels, but they say it is fixed in CS5.5,
    no mention of CS5
I have CS5, and wondered if Adobe stop fixing bugs in earlier versions once a new version is announced.
Yes i know I can upgrade, but at this stage I dont want to do that, i just want a bug fixed in software I have purchased
    Regards
    Chris Anderson

    Chris,
I understand the problem you have, but please try to understand Adobe's position as well. They have limited resources and they have to fix bugs in the current version, test extensively whether they did not break anything in the process of fixing the bug, while at the same time they are busy developing a next version with new features, that users have requested, testing that extensively. At the same time there is a further complication in that all the programs in say the Master Collection must be ready at the same time for market introduction.
With all these complications and the limited resources, priorities have to be set. How critical is a bug, is there a workaround, how many are affected? Of course the currently sold version has a higher priority than a version no longer sold. It might even be an enticement for many to upgrade to the current version.

  • Bug in new version of Nokia Store

There is a bug in the new version of Nokia Store updated recently. When i am using it, it is storing all the images in C Drive>Imagecache>Juniper and wasting my phone memory. Even more frustrating, all apps icons are also showing up in Photos Gallery, crapping all my images. Please fix this bug. My device is Nokia X6-00 with Symbian Latino v7.5 Anna. Thank you.
    Regards,
    Ankit

    Ankit Khandelwal
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Thank you for your feedback. The faulty Store upgrade is no longer available for download
A new Store Client containing the correction to this behaviour will be made available through Store as a download very soon.
The Imagecache/Juniper folder is managed, and will therefore not grow infinitely. The replacement Client will clean out the Imagecache/Juniper folder so the Gallery contents will no longer contain the cached images.

  • Optimizer bug in RDBMS versions 9.2.0.7.0 and 9.2.0.8.0

This listing below demonstrates a bug in the Oracle optimizer that causes incorrect results to be returned after a table is analyzed. Rule based optimizer gives correct results.
Under cost-based optimization the predicate includes a condition from a check constraint on a nullable field. When the value of this field is NULL the record is excluded from the results even though that record does not violate the check constraint.
I have verified that this bug exists on both RDBMS versions 9.2.0.7.0 and 9.2.0.8.0.

    ORA92080>

    Justin,
Thanks for the reply. I have sent this test case to my DBA who may submit it to Metalink.
Since I have found and implemented a workaround, I can wait for the next service release. I just thought that this might be of interest to other Oracle users.
My work-around (buried near the end of my original post) was to modify all check constraints that fit the pattern:
    ( not_nullable_column condition IS TRUE )
    AND ( nullable_column condition IS TRUE )
    To:
    ( not_null_column condition IS TRUE )
AND ( nullable_column condition IS TRUE OR nullable_column IS NULL )
Redefining a check constraint in this way prevents it from being used in the optimizer's predicate.
If someone at Oracle Support wanted to submit code that identifies such potential problem constraints in the data dictionary, that would be great too.

  • Parallax scrolling bug for tablet version

    Hello,
I have a problem with the tablet version I´m doing for a site, actually this site: www.novaconcepto.com
I used the parallax to stick the menu to the top. Everything works fine in the desktop version and even in the tablet version if I just scroll, but if I click on one of the buttons of the menu it does a parallax move to the right, something that is not in the settings at all. Settings that are just the same for the desktop version.
    Why is this happening?
you can see the bug in here:
    www.novaconcepto.com/tablet/index.html
(just click in any of the buttons of the menu)
Please, I appreciate any help you can give me with this.
    Thanks.
    Joao.

So weird that you dont get the problem when taping on a menu button. Still, that anchor thing may be the problem cause now that I remeber anchirs where a little bit to the left out of the effective area, so that could be the problem. I'm gonna try changing that and report results.
    Thanks so much triquita.

  • Bug, JDeveloper (latest version) in Windows Vista w/Aero: Scrolling fails

    Hi,
I´m using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1 in Windows Vista Ultimate with the Aero features fully activated.
First of all, as soon as JDeveloper starts loading, Windows deactivates Aero for some reason.
Second, the scrolling in the different panes fails. All the letters get messed up, like if it doesn´t update the screen. That happens for example in the code windows and the application navigator.
I guess I'm not the first one facing this annoying bug, but I haven´t seen any solution yet. I think Oracle should post a warning, or update the documentation, or at least a solution in this forum.
Is this a JDK issue, instead of a JDeveloper issue?
If I use another JDK, would that solve it?
    Thanks in advance,
    Brian

    Hi Frank and John,
First of all, thanks a lot for helping me (and the hundreds/thousands of other users using JDev over Vista).
I can´t believe Oracle hasn´t addressed this issue yet. I mean, we are not in September 2006 using a beta version of Vista. Vista has already been released two months ago, and thousands of machines are being sold with it. Am I the only one using JDev+Vista? I don´t think so. However, I don´t see many other users posting claims here.
I would love to see the Oracle gurus (Hi Shay!) posting a definitive statement from Oracle regarding this issue.
Well, I have tried using the latest JDK from Sun (1.6.0), modifying the jdef.conf file so JDev will use it instead of the budled JDK. Well, it did work. The UI problem is gone. But JDev is giving me the message about not being certified to run with that version of JDK. What problems will I face now with that JDK? I don´t know. Should I use another version of JDK that will solve the UI but without any other compatibility problems?
I REALLY would like to see an official response from Oracle.

  • Bug - Default Java version

When I'm changing the default java version in the Default Project Properties to 1.5.0_05-b05 and creating a new project; the new project still has java version 1.5.0_05 (Default).
    Bug?
    /Per-Arne

I have just made the test of setting JDK 1.5.0_04 as the default version of Java and when I created a new project it worked perfectly. The change was made by downloading JDK 5 update 4 from Sun; making it accessible to JDeveloper by defining a new J2SE Definition in JDeveloper (from Default Project Properties) and selecting it as the default version of Java.
Please note that even though 1.5.0_05-b05 was not selected by default, it was selectable for the new project, so it's not a big deal, but I still think that it must be a bug under the hood that should be corrected.
The reason that I tried to change the default Java version was that Sun's version was 1.5.0_05-b05 and JDeveloper's was "only" 1.5.0_05-b03. ;-)

  • BUG: Entering a "version" when deploying to a WebLogic server doesn't work

By default when deploying to a weblogic server the "Version" is set to v2.0. If you change that to something like v2.1 when the application is deployed, the deployment logs still show the Version=2.0. What needs to be done to get the Version in deployment to accept the changes on the deployment form?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. This is a Portal application deployed using MDS. So it doesn't have the file referenced in that blog post. The Version field I'm referring to is on the form that pops up to set the MDS repository. For reasons unknown it will always come up v2.0 even during the first deployment. Regardless of what I change it to the Version always equals 2.0 in the deployment logs.

  • POSSIBLE BUG in APEX Version 3.2 "Copy Page"

Has anyone experienced an error in the *"Copy Lists of Values" step in the "Copy Page" application in 3.2*? I am experiencing a _"Report Error: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small"_ sometimes when I copy a page from one application to another. It appears to be page content related because I either always get it for a page or I never get it depending on what page I copy. When I get the error on a page copy, APEX hard codes the LOVs on the page into the list of values definitions instead of copying the appropriate Lists of Values in shared components and using them on the page. It is VERY irritating! Anyone know if this is a bug or if there is a way around it?
    Dale

I was able to upload and install my application on apex.oracle.com and recreate the issue with the string length on the copy lists of values step in the page copy process. I have created an SR in Oracle Support and have provided them with the necessary information. Hopefully, they will be able to get a patch for the problem.
I was also able to recreate the problem with the change to the button template but, in the process, found that there is a simple work-around. When the page copy process gets to the copy templates step, it provides a list of the templates to be used. For some reason it does not choose the correct "Button for Javascript" template. Instead, it chooses the standard "Button" template. I was able to change it to use the correct template prior to clicking next. However, I think that the page copy process should be corrected to default the proper template in the first place.
    Thanks Scott,
    Dale

    Welcome to our community
See the following thread where the mouse is explained a bit.
The thread I linked to covers the "Slide by Slide" recording mode. But you also mentioned Full Motion Recording (FMR) mode. With the Slide by Slide recording mode, the Mouse movement exists as a separate layer and the mouse starting and ending positions may be controlled if you like. But with FMR recording mode, the mouse is simply burned into the recording with no ability whatsoever to change it. However, you do have the option of whether the mouse is recorded or not.

  • PDF pinch and zoom, panning bug with latest version?

I have found stumbled upon something strange with PDF folios with Zoom enabled with the latest version. When you zoom in and pan around if you pan left<->right and then try to pan up<->down without releasing the pan, it is locked in a left<->right panning motion.  Similarly if you start the panning motion in a vertical direction, and continue to hold your panning you cant pan horizontally. However, if you start panning when swiping diagonally, then you are able to pan in all directions. Is this intended behaviour?  I checked with a PDF folio built with Sprint 18 it doesnt have this behaviour. Perhaps its only happening to me and im doing something to cause it? Wondering if anyone else in the community can test if it is happening with their Sprint 19 readers.

    Confirmed.

  • Bug Report: Process Version sometimes reports "nil"

I think this occurs mostly if not always when Process Version is 2003 - sometimes I read "nil" as process version develop setting, sometimes it reads "2003"(i.e. 5.0, if I remember right)  - seems to be sort of random / intermittent.
I'm talking about the photo:getDevelopSettings function, 'ProcessVersion' key.

    Hi Shannara,
It sounds like your patience with Crystal 11 is running thin
Not sure if this will help, but I had a similar issue a while ago.  Speed was woeful to say the least.  The way I fixed it was to right click on the desktop, then go to properties -> Settings tab -> Advanced button -> Troubleshoot tab and fiddled with the Hardware acceleration slider.   Not sure what was causing the issue, but that sorted it for me.
    Hope it helps,   Anthony
