Can not get JSP to work for the first time.
This is my first attempt to write JSPs. When TOMCAT attempts to render my first java server page TOMCAT reports the following two errors:
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSPerror: Invalid class file format in C:\j2sdk1.4.0_01\jre\lib\rt.jar(java/lang/Object.class). The major.minor version '48.0' is too recent for this tool to understand.
C:\Program Files\Apache Tomcat 4.0\work\Standalone\localhost\JobEntry\HeadingExample$jsp.java:0: Class java.lang.Object not found in class javax.servlet.GenericServlet.

I am on an XP box, running jwsdp-1_0_01, j2sdk1.4.0_01, and TOMCAT 4.04.
You might want to try downloading a newer Tomcat Version 4.1.18 works well. Follow the URL below. I have tried this version with the SDK 1.4 in the past, without problems. It might be that your older version of Tomcat just doesn't like the 1.4 SDK. Would take 5 minutes max on a decent http connection to DL and install.

Cannot get camera to work for the first time.
I cannot get the camera to work . I have the IPad2 and just tried to use it this week. Have tried turning on &off and nothing is working. The video will not come on either. Any ideas.
Have you tried closing the Camera app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open the app ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Camera 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset (if that wasn't what you meant by turning the iPad off and on) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I recently bought an iPhone and my charger is not working. It worked for the first time but now it is now it is not working. Can i get it replaced in India because i bought this phone from US?
The warranty is only good in the U.S.
You woulod have to send it to someone in the U.S. They could take it in and if it is defective, then it would be replaced. -
I have a pioneer 50 inch plasma + I purchased new from the company back in 2005. I tried to hook up an Apple Tv to the pioneer receiver that came with the TV. I can not get it to work.
The receiver has two HDMI inputs in the back. However they say they are not for PC's. Furthermore they must be set up by going to the home menu. I tried everything, but I can not get the receiver to talk to the Apple TV. I even tried a connector that uses an HDMI to the Apple TV that has the other side of the cable as 5 RCA cables. I could not get the receiver to see the Apple TV. I have a newer TV in the house, it has no problem talking with the Apple TV. But this older system seems to be handicapped in its ability to talk with the newer Apple TV system.

BobI could not access the Apple TV on the television. If I put the Apple TV directly into by TV, I have an external sound system (entertainment system), therefore I worry that I would by pass the audio.

Can't Sign in to iMessage for the first time

I recently created an Apple account for my old iPod 4, and now I'm trying to sign in to iMessage for the first time. However I simply get an error stating: "iMessage Activation. Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again."
Is this a common issue? Is there any solution?

Getting error while synchronising for the first time to get Device ID

When I am trying to synchronise for the first time to get device ID I am getting following error.

please let us know what patch level your middleware is running on.
The mobileengine.config file is placed in the MI client installation directory in subfolder settings. On PC it is in
c:\Program files\Sap Mobile Infrastructure\settings.
From the URL you mentioned above you are using the "old" technology. Please go the service.sap.com/instguides and follow the setup guid for the old technology.
When you enter the URL directly into the browser you should get a LOGON popup. This shows the service is running. I would expect that you do not get this popup due to missing setup.
If you want to use the new sync service in SICF and you have configured this. have a look into the manual. In that case you are missing some settings on the MI client. The problem is, that the old MI client uses old sync service by default.

I can't use my apple ID for the first time on iphone

When I enter my iphone apple ID, I can't tap "Next" beyond the "select your country" first step (it is the first time I use my apple ID on itune).
I use a 3g IOS 4.2.1 and the software is as up to date as it can be.

Detail rows not fetched in af:iterator for the first time
Hi,
I have a table with 3 columns. Column 3 is a detail record with column 1 being the parent.
Column 3 is displayed in the table using af:iterator #{row.detailRows}.
The detail records are created in a different page.
When I add the detail records to the master in this page and navigate to the page where the table is rendered, sometimes I do not see the column 3(detail rows) displayed immediately. The iterator #{row.detailRows} returns no rows.
When I go back to the previous page wait for sometime and navigate to the page with table, I see the detail rows.
This is happening intermittently and not always.
Why is the iterator returning no rows sometimes(even though it returns values after a while)?
When this happens, I checked the back end data and all the data is inserted into the db tables immediately.
Jdev version: 11.1.1.4.0

I want detail rows displayed in column 3 for all rows in the table on page load, not on row selection.
The page on load should display the table in below manner, irrespective of row selection all rows' detail values should be rendered.

Click on Go on the top- Go to folder- Type ~/library then go to application folder- rename the adobe folder to old adobe
go back to ~/library then go to preferences and rename the adobe folder to old adobe
go to documents and rename the adobe folder to old adobe.
After doing this you will loosed your synced settings and customized keyboard short cuts and effects if any.

I have Norton's security suite under the old version the Idenity protection worked. I kept all my passwords under this which used a master pasword I did not save my passwords any were else and now can not get it to work supplying passwords for my logon site.

They made an error with the update in only listing it as compatible with Firefox 4.0, so they will not install on Firefox 4.0.1 and subsequent Firefox security updates. i have tried this 6+ times to "How to share music between different accounts on a single computer" on my wifes mac and can not get it to work!! On my PC no problem but on the MAC it will not work, follow the instructions to the T but no go????
It is almost as if the program does not exist on my computer. If I search for it, the only thing that comes up is the installer. I cannot find it anywhere despite the fact I have installed it numerous times, uninstalled it and conducted a fresh install, and the Adobe website checks says that it is installed.
