Can we Coterminate Services of an Active Contract

Hi,
Can we Co-terminate Services of an Active Contract for the below scenario. Service Contracts User Guide mentions this functionality is only available for Contracts with Entered status.
Setups Done:
Service Cotermination is set as 31-December for the Customer.
System Profiles set to allow Cotermination atleast after 1 Month of Service.
Scenario:
1.Creates a Service Contract for 2-Year(1-Jan 2008 to 31-Dec 2009) with 2 Service Lines with same End Dates say 31-Dec-2009;
2. In October, we add 2 new Service Lines for 6 months (1-Oct-2008 to 31-Mar-2009):
3. Can we have the ability to Coterminate all the services on 31-December 2008, so that we can create a Renewal Contract with four services with same Effective Dates.
Please let me know if this is possible.

    If the phone has been officially unlocked by your service provider then it should remain unlocked.

    Namaste Gurus,
    i have one issue which is as follows,
    The sales or service contracts which are created for a particular BP.
    The client is asking to transfer ACTIVE CONTRACTS to the smart form and this is done in Web UI.
    But my doubt is how this ACTIVE CONTRATCS iare determined  offcourse already we have designed the SMART FORMS but on what basis ACTIVE CONTRATCS will be determined.
    Even i think this is determined based on the contract period that is mentioned in the CONTRACT.
    Please guide me to solve this issue.
    Definitely the points will be rewarded.

    then passs this contract to CRM_ORDER_READ FM
    then u will get to know that this contract is active or not
    by seeing the contract_end_date field in Lt_appointments i guess

    I am new to BPM.  I have done some process of human activity with help of some tutorials. It was working fine.

    I am struck in page No.16.
    I created Web Dyn Pro Component and it is for Human activity.
    Now I would like to create a service for automated activity from the scrach.
    I don't know in which perspective it has to create. But It will be good if it is a CAF Application.
    Can anyone suggest a link for step by step process to create a service for automated activity.

  • T-code for ending the active contract in RE-Fx

    Hi Experts,
    Is there any separate transaction to end a RE contract.
    Currently I'm terminating the contract, by manually entering the valid to date in the genral data tab page of the t-code RECN.
    Is there any other way available to end an active contract?

    Terminating Contracts is a Business scenario and usually a Business process is defined for such scenario. What I mean is if you wish to terminate a Contract you may have to execute series of steps in SAP related to your contract, example terminating Objects, taking care of outstanding payments/receivables etc.
    I could not find a Valid to date on Contracts General Tab which you quoted. But if you are talking about Contract end date on Terms tab then that is the expiration date of the term or the Contract. Contract will expire on that date, but you can certainly renew the Contract.
    If you wish to terminate a Contract, I would suggest to execute Notice on Contract and populate NOTICE PER date. Depending on your requirement you can choose to give notice on Objects too. This will mark this Contract as Canceled. This is an event and you can use it to control subsequent tasks in your business process. For this process you can set up Notification and reminders too.
    There is a Notice Tool which you can use for mass termination too.

  • ATTN: Customer Service - Question Concerning My Contract Expiration Date

    Hi,
    My phone broke last month, a little over a month before I thought that my contract was due to expire.  The port that charges the phone stopped working.  I was led to believe that my contract would be expiring with Verizon today, so I paid my bill last month and waited.  I thought I would be able to cancel my service today, pay my final bill this month and my contract would be fulfilled, at which point I planned to amicably part ways with Verizon and switch to a company that can better suit my needs. When I just accessed my account, I notice that it says that I am due for an upgrade today, but that my contract doesn't expire until October.  Why is that?  Please help me figure out what is going on and what I need to do to close out my plan without accruing extraneous charges.
    I first tried to contact your customer service via the "Chat Now" function, but all of you agents have been busy for over 2 hours now.   It is very important to me that I get this sorted out today so that I do not roll over into another month of service that I don't want and can't use.

    I'm not customer service, just another customer like you, but I hope I can help.  Your upgrade eligibility and contract end date are not the same (though that is changing).  You can upgrade at the 20 month point in your 24 month contract, which is why you can UPGRADE today, but your contract doesn't end till October.
    If you are planning to leave Verizon, you  can do so in October with no ETF; today you will pay an ETF based on 20 months of completed service, roughly $80 for a basic phone or $160 for a smartphone.
    Your wisest course would be to see if a friend has an old Verizon phone that you could borrow and activate until your contract is up.

    Did you have a passcode lock on it?  Or did you have restrictions enabled?  If not, it is very possible someone has found it, simple disabled location services in settings, and is using it.  If you did not secure it, anyone with it can do anything they want with it as it is when found.

    Dear Madhavi,
    the service orders can be linked to the sales order in Make-To-Order (assembly) and in Repair-Order process. These processes are absolutely different from the SD point of view, but here some general points:
    The button "Service Order" can be observed in the transaction VA02 or VA03, if you go to the sales order, then mark the item and go to the schedule line screen. Under the schedule lines you can see three buttons. The first button from the right side should be "Service Order" if the service order is linked directly to the sales order.
    The interface between Sd and CS is the function module CO_61_ORDER_EDIT
    It is in the case you want to debug. 
    On the database, please check the field VBEP-AUFNR for the corresponding sales order and sales order item.

    Is it possible to maintain service breakdown in SRM as well, if no any suggestions or resources that explain how we can map this scenario in SRM.

    This functionality is not possible in SRM as of now.
    Please refer this note in that regard 505030 even though it is meant for External Requirements as service which may give you a better understanding on this issue.
    If you can explain what exactly you want to have in the service contract we could help you further.

    We are giving an Item X for servicing to a vendor. The vendor can do to 2 services S1 and S2 to the item X and give it back.
    For this we made a recursive BOM with item X and created a sub contracting PO.
    But the problem is we are already having service master and SERVICE conditions for S1 and S2. The vendor needs to charge on the basis of these service conditions.
    Example:
    Item is TOOL-X.
    Service1 and condition: Polishing. 25 INR / each.
    Service2: and condition: Plating. 8 INR/ sq.mm
    As we need to keep account of items given to Vendor (sub-contractor), I selected item category L. But here I cannot put service conditions? Is it possible to put service conditions in sub contract PO?
    If I go for item category D (service) I will not be able to account for materials given to subcontractor.
    Please suggest how to reflect this scenario in PO.

    It is always advisable not to put servicable materials in subcontracting.The reason being, every service would add value to the same material ( MAP will change) .If the material undergoes service many times then the Inventory value of the material will be Inflated.Hence to avoid this follow the steps
    1) Create a service PO against the vendors
    2) Issue the material via MB1B 541
    3) Recieve the material through MB1B 542
    4) Enter service entry sheet via ML81N
    5) MIRO for service vendor
