Cancel shipped upgrade order?

I ordereda CPO Fascinate on Wednesday. the 2nd day shipping had it arriving on MONDAY the 28th (upsetting).
My question is, If I decline the delivery and the device comes back, VZW will just undo all the changes on the acct and go back to an upgrade-ready state, right? Or no? Please let me know what you can...
Oh and also on another note, how would it work if i tried to take that phone to the store to exchange for something else? iPhone, perhaps?

You cannot cancel an order that has shipped. Your best bet would be to return the device once you receive it, and your account should go back to the way it was before, and then you can go into a store and purchase an iPhone. You cannot purchase a device online and return it to a store, it must be returned through the mail. Keep in mind that Verizon's recent exchange policy change limits you to 1 exchange, so once you return this phone and get another, you will not be able to exchange that phone again.

    I'd much prefer to have correct answers in threads so I decided to do some detective work for you. I decided to make two phone calls this morning, one to the "manager on the floor" at an Apple Retail Store and the other to the Apple Online Store Sales & Support group. Both people I spoke with were aware of my intentions on the phone call and that I would be quoting them in this thread.
    If I buy a computer online, can I return/exchange it at the store?
    It depends. If the machine is a standard configuration (has a part number that starts with MBxxx/A) and is not damaged, then yes we can accept it as a return/exchange in store. If it has a customer configuration (has a part number that stars with Zxxx) then no, we are unable to offer an exchange/refund at the store for that unit. If it is DOA we can coordinate a service/replacement with AppleCare.
    Can I upgraded to 4GB of RAM in-store?
    Absolutely, we stock RAM specifically for this upgrade and charge the same price as online. You're responsible to buy the computer and the RAM upgrade first and then we will install it for you.
    Can I use the Barclay's card, even if I don't have it my possession?
    Unfortunately not, we must have the physical card in order to verify the legitimacy of the transaction.

    We bill the card when the unit ships. However, the order must be cancelled prior to its status being changed into "prepared for shipment" as this means we've already allocated the part for shipment and at which point it cannot be cancelled.
    Hopefully that clears things up. I figured not much had changed since I use to work for Apple, but rather than being smug about it I wanted to hear it "from the staff at the Apple Store." As with anything you read on the Internet, take it for what it's worth.

    Yes, the purchase orders are created directly from the sales order, so there should be some sort of link between the two I would think.  However, I may be wrong in this line of thinking.
    The UDF would be on the header as our customer puts an entire sales order on only one purchase order.

  • Cancelling my laptop order: Sales agent tricked me by forcing the dates for delivery

    Nov. 29 2013: Friday
    On black friday - I placed an order for a lenovo product. The sales rep. lady told me because of the high volume of sales, my laptop may take from 1 to 2 weeks to be delivered to me. I said ok, no problem. 
    Dec. 1 2013: Sunday
    Then on Sunday I called the sales service to only inquire if it is possible of me to cancel my order. The sales agent said yes; and upon asking further if I have to pay for any restocking fees, she answered saying restocking fees is applicable to only refurbished laptops, not the new ones. Meaning, whether I cancel my order before it is shipped to me or even after it is shipped - I have nothing to pay to cancel/return my order - Everything about cancellation/return package was free and/or full refund.
    She checked my order status to me and told me that my laptop is scheduled for shipping on Thursday Dec. 5. And delivery should be around Friday or some other day. So if I wish to cancel it, I have till Tuesday Dec. 3 to call them about it because by Wednesday the laptop will be in transit for shipping.
    Dec. 2 2013: Monday
    I checked my order status again.  Like before, it said my laptop is scheduled for shipping on Thursday Dec. 5 and it will be on transit from the warehouse to the shipping by wednesday as per what the sales agent told me last time I spoke to her.  So I still have till Tuesday Dec. 3 to decide whether I want to go ahead or cancel the order.
    After checking the status order, I immediately called Lenovo's sales service to cancel my order on Dec. 2, Monday. Upon talking to that sales lady representative about the cancellation of my order, she was surprised about it and it would seem like she wanted me to go for it.  So she tricked me into it saying my order can't be cancelled as there's no guaranty that my order is still in the warehourse. She said it could be it's going to be shipped tomorrow.  I was shocked. What she did was she forced the order to be shipped immediately so that this sale takes place. She modified the transit & shipping date for my order so that I have no choice other than to accept it. And she told me I'll have to accept it and then ship it back instead of refusing it to avoid any problematic situation.
    ASAP the phone call ended - I went onto checking the order again, and I realised that sales representative lady modified all the dates so as to force the order to be shipped to me as an attempt so that the sales takes place. She thought I might change my mind after receiving the laptop, but I am firm at my decisions.
    The present day: Tuesday
    I want my laptop to be cancelled and I was told on Dec. 1, 2013 by the agent that I was eligible for a full refund without having to pay for any restocking fee (in case I decide to cancel it). Can someone reading this help me with that cancellation.
    Lenovo was going to be my first Lenovo laptop. I love the lenovo machines. Great build quality. But my only problem is that...why I am cancelling my order is that that lenovo y510p model comes with SLI card and this doesn't work well with the softwares I work with. I choose to cancel that order and prefer to save that money and wait till perhaps next year for another lenovo's quality machine (I'm a great lenovo fan) which I am hoping to come with a single GPU GTX 780 @3GB GDDR5 (base model) and some 256gb SSD. That's the only reason why I am cancelling my order and that's what I told to the sales ‌agent lady too when she asked me about the reason behind my cancellation.

  • How to cancel a Move Order line using API

    I have a requirement, where I have to cancel Move order lines.
    At times, multiple Move order lines are getting created for the same Sales order line.
    Even after the Sales Order line is shipped and closed, the move order line is still open and it also has a corresponding pending transaction in mtl_material_transactions_temp table.
    I came across INV_MOVE_ORDER_PUB.process move order line API.
    how do I use it to cancel the move order line. Any sample codes would be highly welcome.

    My iPhone said I needed to get more backup space in order to backup my phone. When I purchased an additional 10G my storage dropped below the original 5G. So when i tried to cancel the upgrade immediately, it said I have to wait until the end of the year. Is this a scam apple is using to squeeze more money out of their loyal customers ? When I tried to contact phone support they spent 10 minutes trying to get me to buy additional warrant services before finally telling me they couldn't help with iCloud.
    Does anyone have any suggestions ?

    This should clear up on its own and allow you to delete the account, however it can take 3-5 days before this happens.

    I recently placed an online order for an Iphone 6 plus and new service. The phone has not yet shipped and I would like to cancel the whole order. The customer service rep over the phone told me I had to let it ship and then refuse the delivery... That just doesn't sound right to me and I do not want to be billed for this, as I'm assuming I will be charged as soon as it ships.     if you purchase a itunes gift card you will not be able get your money back. unless if it has never been used, such as enetering the bar code then you can probably take it in to the original store where you bought it from with the receipt.

    I have an issue with SD/FI.   The details are given below:
    I would like to cancel a Sales Order due to wrong sold-to-party selected. There is an existing accounting document created.
    How do I proceed with the cancellation of the Sales Order? I want to prevent this SO from being used.
    This is the first transaction.   Actually, the Accounting document generated through Billing Document and the same was cleared against down payment. 
    Is it possible to cancel the Sale Order to change the sold-to-party without affecting the Sale Order.
    As per my observation, it is not possible once the accounting document generated.
    If we want to cancel the Sale Order, is it possible?
    Reverse the clearing document, down payment document & billing document.
    Then cancel the billing document. 
    Hence, we can cancel the Sale Order.  
    It will affect the previous period balances.   Is it correct??
    Can any one give some guidelines.  Whether I am correct or not??

    As per discussion, I convinced to make JV for subsequent adjustment.  
    How to protect the concern sale order to avoid future use.
    I hv tested in SO through development after selecting "Cancel Sales Deal" in the field Reason for Rejection.
    Tried for billing and it is not allowing.
    Can I suggest this methodology??
    Pls note that there is no sales scenario.    The contract and deposit money transactions handled
    through SD.
    Please give your opinon or give some more stop to prevent the SO.

    You can reject the sales order by going to VA02
    Go to-> Item -> Enter Reason for Rejection
    and save the order.
    This will reject the order even if the subsequent documents are created so that no further open quantities can be delivered.

    get a program developed to pick up SOs older than some date or whatever you like to define..
    setup a variant and setup a bkgd job to run everynight to delete or reject all line items with a reason code.

  • Can't purchase a song from an Album that I cancelled the pre-order for?

    Ok, so here's the deal, I bought a £15 voucher and made some purchases, the first of which was the pre-order of an Album that was released today (Sunday 24th). I didn't know however, that the cost of the purchase was deducted from your balance once you actually downloaded the album, and I've spent my credit to the point where I'm pennies of being able to pay for the pre-order of the Album. I decided however, to hit cancel pre-order and simply just download the songs that I could afford, then download the wrest at a later date. However, the album that I've cancelled my pre-order for, still displays as 'Purchased'? I was able to download one song for pre-ordering the album, but that was a deduction of 99p, the price of a single song. I'm curious why I cant't purchase the wrest of the album individually, am I tied to the pre-order because I downloaded a song that was advertised as 'Early Access', or do I now have to pay the full cost of the Album because I've surpassed the deadline to cancel the pre-order (if there is such a thing).
    Some one please help me
    P.S. I've only been using iTunes for less than a week, so I'm pretty much a noob.

    Delete the problem track from the iTunes library, allowing iTunes to move the track file to the Trash. Then download the track again from the iTunes Store via this procedure:
