Changing an information structure datasource

Hello,
We currently have a datasource for S571 infostructure setup in LIS, which provides daily delta updates into our BW production system.
If the infostructure is enhanced with some additional fields that we want to carry through to our BW system, are we able to enhance the S571 datasource and S571BIW1 & S571BIW2? Or do we need to recreate the datasource in LBW0?

Hi,
you enhance S571... addtion fileds.. go to mc22... edit infostructure...
For delta update :
In R/3 side
T.code MC25, set update (V1) or (V2) or (V3)
T.code LBW0, choose generate updating and execute then choose activate / deactivate and execute
BW side - create infopackage and schedule the package with delta update.
First time if your scheduling the infopackage -in R/3 side T.code :MC25 -Udating set to No update,insted of selecting the update V1,V2,V3.
If your doing the Delta update:in R/3 side T.code :MC25-Updating set to either V1 or V2 or V3. and the to T.code :LBW0 -Select the radio button Active/deactivate and Execute.
and schedule the infopackage with delta update

I want to change an extract-structure in an existing datasource (0COORDER_TEXT), but I don't know how to do.
(I first thought I can do it with trx RSA6.)

Hi,
yes, you can change an extract-structure in an existing datasource . The enhancemet of DataSource is the process of enhancing your extract structures by creating an append with your ZZ/YY fields and filling these fields using a specific user exits. Then you have to fill those fields with some ABAP custom code that can be anything from some simple calculations or table lookups to complex business logic requiring access to multiple database tables. You can do that by CMOD, creating a project and using the enhancement:RSAP0001.
You have to follow bellow steps:
1. Go to RSA6.
2. Select the Data Source.
3. Select display Data Source (Ctr+F2).
4. Double click on the Extract structure.
5. Click on the Append Structure.
6. Add the required field .
7. Activate the Append Structure.
8. Go to CMOD.Give the Project, select Display.
9. Click on ZXRSAU01.
10.you have the bellow exits:
    a).Transaction data: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001
    b).Master data attributes: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002
    c).Master data texts: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_003
    d).Master data hierarchies: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_004
11. select Transaction Data EXIT,then you have to write the ABAP CODE
12. save and activate.
13. check the data in RSA3.

LIS - Logistics Information systems change in info structure settings.

Hi,
I want to change the Info structure parameter of table S060 in LIS. By changing the Period split as Posting period form Months (Calander year)
This would change all the records updateding in the table w.r.t fiscal year.
But I want to know the settings where it would chage the old / existing data in the table also (ie it sould be with retro effect)
Need it urgently. Points would be rewarded

Thanks but my issue is still not resolved. The T code OMO1 will allow me to change the LIS table S060 from Months (Calander month) to Fiscal period. But I want the old existing data also to be refreshed with fiscal period.
I want to know is there any refresh method or creation of new variant process which would allow me to refresh the old data (Calander month) with new Fiscal month.

Error 4 occurred while information structure S001 was being updated.

I set up the environment for the 2LIS_01_S001 DataSource (InfoCube 0SD_C01) accordingly these steps (as mentioned in another thread):
1) Activating LIS update - goto OMO1 transaction code
In the Updating Info Structures(S001) - double-click the Updating radio button for Info structure S001.
In the Parameters dialog box select Synchronous updating and choose ok.
2) Goto OLI7 Transaction code - run the statistical update.
3) Goto OLIX transaction code - setup version &( will be copied to actual version 000 for reporting
4)Go back to OMO1 do deactive the LIS Update, check radio button to "No Update"
5)Now goto LBW0 and choose option "Deactivate" Delta updating in LIS.
6) In BW, Replicate DataSource, and run info Package with Initilization.
7) Now again in R/3 we need to "Activate" Delta option from transaction code LBW0.
8) and last step is to goto OMO1 to activate LIS Update to Synchronous updating and save.
But in step 2 , I am getting an error i.e
Error 4 updating info structure S001
Message no. M2022
Error 4 occurred while information structure S001 was being updated.
The update was attempted with the following key:
&V3 0100000000000000290658
I am not understanding this error,so cant proceed further.

I have two systems in both i am doing the same process.
But in my one system i am getting error
but in my other system i am not getting error and my set up table is filled with records.
According to that note key figures sequence in S001, S001BIW1 & S001BIW2 should be same.
but i my other system, key figure sequence is different and i am fine working with it.
so why it is not able to fill my set up table for my other system ?

Change to Extract Structure Doubt

Our Basis Folks are trying to install Patch 6 ST-PI 2005_1_700 in ECC. I refered to OSS Note 328181.
For this Patch do we need to delete the Set up Table and Fill it again? And How about Init Delta in BW?
Please suggest me. Any answers will be appreciated with Points.

Hello,
Yes you have to delete the Setup table data before that as per the OSS Note you have to clear the delta queue data which cannot be recovered after changing the extract structure. So execute the BW Delta Infopackages and make sure there is no delta records in RSA7 or LBWQ.
Then you can delete the setup table using LBWG and implement the patch.
1. Make sure that the following steps are carried out at a time when no updates are performed so that no data is lost.
2. Start the update collective run directly from within the Customizing Cockpit. Up to PI(-A) 2001.2 , this collective run exclusively concerns the V3 update. As of PI(-A) 2002.1, depending on the update mode setting of the application, the collective run concerns either the V3 update or the update from the extraction queue ("Delta Queued", see Note 505700).
3. Load all data of the respective DataSource into the BW System.
Now you can make the change.
After a change you can no longer use the statistical data already recreated. If such data still exists, you should delete it (Transaction LBWG).
We recommend in particular to upload the data immediately after a restructuring and (after checking in BW) delete them from the restructuring tables.
Moreover, the update log (Transaction LBWF) can no longer be read. Post a document in this case so that the last log entry is overwritten. This log entry then has the correct new format of the extract structure.
As of PI 2000.2 the program RMCEXDELETELOG is available. It can be used to delete log entries.
But if there is any change in lenght of any field of the extract structure, then you have to reload the entire data again in BW otherwise a Init without data transfer will do.
But what is the patch all about? Please follow the instruction given in the OSS Note 328181 - Changes to extract structures in Customizing Cockpit.

Unable to change the Extract structure

Hi All,
In LBWE in R/3, I need to the change the extract structure MC02M_0HDR for DataSource 2LIS_02_HDR, by including some fields using the maintenance tab, After doing the required changes when i give "continue", the system is throwing me the following error -
<b>"Struct. from appl. 02 due to open V3 proc. not changed".</b>.
The long text of the error message shows -
Diagnosis
Changing the extract structure MC02M_0HDR of application 02 is not recommended as there are no V3 update entries for the update module MCEX_UPDATE_02.
If an extract structure is changed for which there are still open V3 updates, these can no longer be updated and the V3 collective update is terminated.
Procedure
Start the V3 update and delete those update entries that are already incorrect. You will find these in the update overview.
Kindly reply me as soon as possible in this regard.

Hello,
in transaction sm37 in the source system, you will find a job starting with LIS-BW-VB_APPLICATION*. Please select the job related to your application and in the menu Job->Delete, delte the same which is in the released state ready to be executed.
then you can go ahead and enhance the extract structure.

QM , Working with Information structure and standard Analyses

I have created a Information structure S950 copying Information Structure S068.I have fews issues in the newly crerated information structure.
1) When I generated standard analyses and assigned the transaction code for it.
The descrption present in the transaction code is not shown on the selection
screen. Can anyone let me know how do Change the description on selection
screen of the standard analyses. Or how do we create "Analysis" for Standard
Analyses.
2) When I run the MCVA transaction (Standard Anaylses for Vendor - Info structure S068) I can see few Rate fields being caculated .Ex: Rejection rate . This fields are not stored phisically in the S068 but coming dynamically. I want the same fields in my transaction as it is the copy of S068. I believe this calculation are made in Supplementary Key figures. Can anyone let me know where is this supplementray key figure OR how do we set the supplemetary key figure in Custom information Structure.
I will really appreciate if any one could help me on this.

How to create a new report from an information structure?

Application-01-Sales and Distribution, 02-Purchasing, 03-Inventory Controlling, etc..

The tables S5nnnBIW1 & SnnnnBIW2 are used to assist the delta update process within BW.

The OLTP system has automatically created an entry in the control table u2018TMCBIWu2019. Within transaction u2018SE16u2019 youu2019ll see, that for your particular InfoStructure the field u2018BIW activeu2019 has the value u2018Xu2019 and the field u2018BIW statusu2019 is filled with value u20181u2019 (refers to table SnnnBIW1).
The orgininal LIS update program u201ARMCX#### will be enhanced within the form routines u201Aform Snnnbiw1_update_....u2018 and u201Aform Snnnbiw2_update
With the transaction u2018SE38u2019 youu2019ll see at the end of the program starting at line 870 / 1006, that the program is enhanced within a u2018BIW delta updateu2019 coding
Within the flag u201AActivate/Deactivateu2018 the update process into the delta tables (SnnnBIW1/Sn5nnBIW2) is swichted on/off. In the table u201ATMCBIWu2018 is defined, which table is active for delta update.
Note: The delta updating is client dependent !

How to change the default structure when exporting data in CSV format?

Hello,
can some one tell us how to change the default structure in CRM when exporting lists in CSV format (with Option "Always use unformatted list format (CSV) for download" ? Because we want to add a new structure for our own -is it possible ?
If it is possible where can we find these structure ? In the blueprint customizing ?

There is a workaround to move from 1.5 version to the older 1.4 version. But this could be specific to the browser setting the JRE version.

However, a user can still run older versions. To do so, launch the Java Plug-in Control Panel for the older version, then (re)select the browser in the Browser tab.
Example:
Assume you are running on Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Internet Explorer, have first installed version 1.4.2, then version 5.0, and you want to run 1.4.2.
Go to the j2re1.4.2\bin directory where JRE 1.4.2 was installed. On a Windows default installation, this would be here: C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin
Double-click the jpicpl32.exe file located there. It will launch the control panel for 1.4.2.
Select the Browser tab. Microsoft Internet Explorer might still appear to be set (checked). However, when 5.0 was installed, the registration of the 1.4.2 JRE with Internet Explorer was overwritten by the 5.0 JRE.
If Microsoft Internet Explorer is shown as checked, uncheck it and click Apply. You will see a confirmation dialog stating that browser settings have changed.
Check Microsoft Internet Explorer and click Apply. You should see a confirmation dialog.
Restart the browser. It should now use the 1.4.2 JRE for conventional APPLET tags.

My system (Windows XP) has the version 1.5_09 set as the default. However i just installed JRE 1.5_06 and would like to revert back to _06 as the default JRE..

I have a new email address and was successful in changing the information online but cannot change it on my iPhone 4S or iPad. When I try to fix the problem it requires me to create a new password and now I can't remember that either.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Can't change any information in my Apple ID except my name

I have had my Apple ID for years - during .mac and Mobileme and I have always had the same ID.
Now when I try to update any information except my name it doesn't show any change at all.
I can't update my phone numbers or edit/delete/add alternate email addresses and emails for verifying email accounts are not sent?
My Apple ID is fully working - no problems at all with anything.
It is just that I have changed my phone numbers and alternate email address and now I can't change it in my Apple ID.
Please notice that I am NOT trying to change my Apple ID - I want to keep the primary email address and Apple ID just the way they are (my [email protected] address)
I just want to be able to add and delete alternate email addresses and to be able to verify them.
The support from Apple's side on this issue is very unacceptable - they will only talk with me if I am on an Apple Care plan.... or charge me.
How can they even think of charging people for their own malfunctioning services??
I REALLY hope that I can get a solution from you guys!!

I am having the SAME problem.
I just switched to the Icloud merge today. I too have had a .mac account for quite some time.
I need to change my alternative email and some other info, as well as my time stamp is wrong for emails in my inbox and I can not change anything about my account in general.
Heck, I don't even know WHERE to look to change my account information.
Again - I want to change account information, NOT my Apple ID.

If you select all the songs you want to change, Be it one song or an akbum, or an Artist, Or Genre, or playlist. Then Right mouse click and Get Info. You then get a slightly different from normal Get Info box as this is the One for Multiple items.
In there have a look at the tags and see if the one you want to changes is in there. There are a few tabs so if for example you wanted to change the Media Type from Home Movie to Movie go to the Options tab and select Movie and OK and it will change the whole selection.

How to restrict the user to change the project structure but not the documents?

I have created one project assigning different users in Solution manger. I want to risitrict some of the users to change the project structure but simultaneously allwoing the project documents to be created, edited or deleted using solar01 under Project documentation tab. For that I have followed the steps provided in the follwoing link.

I am able to restrict the users to change the project structure, but I am not able to allow access to the project documents. It gives me the message "You are not authorised to change the project". This fulfills my one of the requirements. But, Is there any way to restrict the user to change the project structure but not the documents?. Any help will be apperitiated.

Basically there are 2 different authorization role ...you should look for and customize as per requirement in Z* namespace.
role - SAP_SOLAR01_ALL
this take care of objects in Solar01 like tab access etc
role -SAP_SOL_KW_ALL
this takes care of entire documentation within solman
