Charge for replying to Sky's 65150 number

I spoke to Sky yesterday and today received a text message asking for customer feedback. The text stated the replies to 65150 would be free.
However, when I tried to send my reply a message appeared stating I would be charged for this message. Why? I have unlimited texts on my £5/month contract and is Sky say the reply is free then why wouldn't it be?

    Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
There is one 120W A/C adapter with HP Part #  463953-001.
Power cords have to be ordered separately by country location.
    See chapter 3 page 3-13.

You can see if these parts are available by going to the link below and change the country code on the upper right to see if you can order them in the country you live in directly from HP.
The link is currently defaulted to the US of A.

    Good question.
    That I don't have a definite 100% answer to.
It probably is OK. Wattage is what it is rated at. More wattage is probably a good thing, and I have read that = or - .5v is not supposed to be an issue.
You can do a google search of the part number for your power adapter and see if they still carry it, if you are concerned.

Try resetting it while it is connected to power: Hold down the home and sleep button, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons. It is connected to a wall charger?

  • Cancellation charge for upgrading ?

Hello, I recently got a rather unplesant surprise with my latest bill when I recieved a £76.51 charge for upgrading my broadband from option 1 to the option 3. Now having read the terms I was under the belief that the only actions chargeable were downgrading or cancellation so can somebody please enlighten me as to where this has come from? Thanks

Seems to happen a lot maybe you mentioned cancel in the same sentence as upgrade that would probably be enough

We started with Adobe by paying $14.99 monthly. Last August, we decided to go with the annual to save money, Since that time, we have continued to be charged monthly since August - December 14.99 monthly, in error. How can I get refunded the overcharge $59.96 and stop this charge?

Sara, thank you for your response. I was in touch with customer care before they contacted you to contact me. They said they could not help completely but that you should be able to. I need to cancel the $14.99 monthly charge and be refunded the $14.99 charges since I paid the annual fee. The $14.99 is a duplicate charge as I only have one form. Please advise as to how I can stop the monthly charges and receive a refund for the duplicate charges. My phone number is 931.372.7200 if you would like to speak in person.  This is the transcript:

  • BT bill charges for non service during moving hous...

BT dreadful customer service & incompetence
    Hi all,
After deciding to move home I made the necessary arrangements with BT prior to our moving date. Our switch over date was 14th November 2014.
After numerous calls with BT and mostly dealing with multiple BT operators with little knowledge, poor communication skills, lack of interest and on a few occasions extreme rudeness, I was still no further forward with a line connection date.
It became apparent that there was no line services to my new home, which I could understand although I was disappointed not to have been informed of the situation prior to my moving home (a fact BT should be easily aware of)
I spent weeks going round and round with no clear outcomes or specific information returning to me, I actually knew more information from the site builders than BT knew, BT even had the arrogance to tell me that my information from the builders was incorrect (which it wasn't)
Numerous misinformation, conflicting information, non returning of calls, engineer dates that were not upheld, non required engineer dates are amongst a series of frustrating dealings with the vast majority of the BT operators, there were only a few operators that seemed to care and assist and they were at the end of my ordeal of 3 months!!!!!
It was very clear that the information from each phone call between myself and BT was not correctly recorded. On two separate occasions during a singular phone call I actually had to repeat my situation to three separate operators to which I had become accustomed to being transferred amongst.
So to be clear from 14th November 2014 until late February 2015 we were without services.
During one of my many and expensive mobile phone calls to BT I was advised to set up my own mobile broadband and they would foot the bill and repay the expense until they provided a service.
(Which I did as I had no confidence in a connection date within months)
Throughout this ordeal BT had the arrogance to attempt to bill me, even though we had no service!!!!
    Here is the kicker.
BT have now disconnected us from their service (31st March2015) for an unpaid bill, a bill we can't get amended and corrected to reflect the 3 months without their incompetent service.
They have even added charges for BT sports which I can't even watch as I have no viewing box, I believe this came free for 6 months) with my original package.
Even this is an issue. I was informed upon moving house that a new contract would commence when I moved home thus starting the 6 months free BT sports package once more (yet another mistake by BT)
We will not pay any form of bill until they amend and correct the bill to reflect we had no service for 3 months.
I have now tried to call to speak to an operator regarding the issue, after entering my home phone number the BT automated service redirects me to the only option which is to pay the outstanding bill!!!
No bill will be paid until it is corrected, I will be sending a bill for the mobile broadband I required to set up and maintain. I am also considering looking into the loss of earnings I suffered due to the length of time I was offline, as well as the amount of time required to deal with the sorry mess. A stressful time enough moving home without this added fiasco.
I am also aware of the Ofcom regulatory body as well as the multiple rules BT will have breached in our contract.
All in all we have endured a long and needlessly complicated mess, which thinking was behind us, is in fact still present. We are seriously considering removing our service completely with BT which I am sure in the eyes of the law will be justified and legally binding due to the numbers of contract breaches sustained by BT.

  • Charges for Broadband - during fault

Late December and into early january my broadband usage was excessive - diagnosed as faulty hub.  Fault resolved on 6th Jan when new hub installed.  I can't get suitable re-assurance via the many online chats and voice calls I have had with BT that I will not be charged for exceeding 40GB usage in BOTH december and January.
The first 6 days of January under fault used most of our 40GB cap so normal browsing since means we will exceed 40GB by months end.  A note on the broadband usage says we will be billed 26.50 for excessive usage even though  the bill has been received.
Please could you take a look at my account and assure me that I will not be charged for exceeding 40GB in December 13 and January 14.  Only once in the last year have we ever exceeded 40GB.
    I hope you can assist

  • Charged for cancelled account

Found out today that I had an overdraft fee in my checking account of 106 dollars. So I went to the bank and found out spotify has been charging me. I havent been keeping track of my checking since I lost my job and cancelled anything that would charge me so I had nothing to worry about. I cancelled my account months ago and I know I did because I no longer get premium. I have no way to pay for this over draft fee and being that I wasn't expecting any charges to my checking account, I don't see how it's my fault. I'd like to resolve this issue. I'm hoping this some how helps because don't understand why they don't have a customer service number and why I'm still getting charged for something I don't even get to use.

Hi Sleeter. When you canceled your account did you get a confirmation email? If you did, and you're still getting charged, then you most likely have a second account that was somehow signed up for premium. If you never got a confirmation email then you never completed the cancellation process.
If you never did complete the cancellation process, you'll want to go to your subscriptions page and go through that to make sure it gets canceled this time around. However, if you did get an email, then what you'll want to do is get in touch with support and detail your issue to them. Note that if you receive an automated email directing you to the community and/or help boards, make sure you reply directly to that email (even if it is from a no reply address) and support will get back to you as soon as possible.
Hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Charge for engineer's visit

My phone and internet were off altogether in February. I have been charged for the engineer visit.  I live in a flat and the problem was caused by builders working one of the other flats in my building.  Why is this my repsonsibility?

    Here is the explanation.
    http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12439/c/
Normally Openreach would raise a charge against the builders, as it was 3rd party damage.
