i bought a droid incredible 2 they told me on the phone it would only be a 10 dollar payment for it on special with a two year upgrade down from 161.99 i talked to them for quite a while and made sure that would be the price then i see a 161.99 charge on my bill i call them 2 times being told they would investigate this and get back to me no call back i call again and they tell me that the charge for 161.99 is right i tell them to go back and listen to the recording they say they cannot do that i cannot believe that i was lied to like that and they wont even go back and see that i am being screwed they said file a complaint online cannot find were to file a complaint

I would also like to point out that listening to calls is something rare and usually cannot be done because there are so many different departments, and only the department can pull a call, and its still not even gauranteed. Most call centers get thousands of calls a day. It would be extremely difficult to go through those calls.
And if someone reached out to you, and I mean CALLED YOU, please do not order a phone with that person. Do not order a phone on the phone unless you dialed a Verizon Wireless number.
There is an indirect agent that reaches out to people and makes many promises, and then do not remark the account correctly so there is no way for VZW reps to verify that information.
So buy direct. Direct, direct, direct.

    Apple's policy is clear: iTS purchases can be downloaded only once. It is your responsibility to make back-ups.
    That being said, at their discretion they have made one-time exceptions to this policy. You can ask for an exception by submitting the form at the bottom of this page:

    I bought a Sandisk HDHC card  from Fryes.It have an activation code for 3 free months freee Creative Cloud and /Lightroom.When I tried the code it was invalid.When I tried the online chat,they gave me a lot of ********.Will I get the 3 months or will I post this on every SOCIAL MEDIA SITE?.ADOBE NEEDS TO WISE UP!!!

      Its an ADOBE advertisement with their name on it.Product has activation code with it and is still valid.Adobe WONT LIKE ME by the time its over.

  • Store rep signed me up under the wrong plan and no one in customer service has fixed it in over a month

    I was bait and switched. I signed up under the pretense that I was getting the promotional rate of 40gb/$150 that was scheduled to end on November 5 2014.
    I walked  into a Verizon wireless store on November 4th with the intent to trade in my iPhone 5s which I was offered $350 trade in value and port over 2 of my lines with T-Mobile under the Verizon promotion. Once I was approved and offered my trade in I was told that the phones I was seeking to purchase from Verizon was not in stock and needed to be ordered, and delivered separately with the iPhone 6 being shipped out November 14 and the iPhone 6+ shipped November 21. Thomas, the Verizon wireless sales representative, also informed me that for me to get the promotional rate I would have to open the account with an active line before the 5th or I wouldn't be able to get the promotional rate since the phones would be delivered past the promotional date period. The sales representative insisted I should add an iPad that  was in stock at the store and I could leave the store with an active account and once my phones were delivered I would be all set to go with my promotional plan and devices. I had no need for an iPad but decided it was worth getting for the sake of the promotion.
    ON November 14 I recieved via FedEx a package containing not a iPhone 6 as promised, but a iPhone 6+. I called Verizon to activate the phone that was ported to my personal phone number, and didn't have my iPhone 6 that was set to port my out of state business line and cancel service with T-Mobile on the 14th of November. To say the least I was extremely upset for which I had no means of recieving business calls from North Carolina while I live in Florida. At that point I asked the Verizon customer care representative I had on the phone to see if they could see if there was a store that had the iphone 6 I ordered in stock so that I an could have a business phone the same day. He found a store that had it in stock and it happened to be the store I originally signed up at. I was told that it was in the color and storage capacity I had originally ordered and that I could pick it up at the store to complete my purchase with Verizon. Again, for the sake of having a business line I ran to the store and spoke with Thomas and explained the mix up. upon moving forward I was informed that they had an iPhone 6 in stock with the capacity I had requested but not the same color I had ordered. At that point I didn't care I just needed a phone and proceeded to activate the phone he had in stock And ported over my business line.
    After recieving a text from Verizon that I had consumed all of my data just days after I recieved my phones I called Verizon 611 from my phone and spoke to a customer care representative named Fallon, which informed me I was set up on the wrong plan and that she see's the notes that Thomas notated that I was subscribing for a 40gb plan and that she was going to send a  request I D # [removed] form to make the corrections and that there was no need for me to cancel service as I was within my cancelation period, again she insisted that there was no need to cancel and that the request would be granted and she would be calling me once my billing cycle reset and the corrections were made and she would credit my account based on the promotional rate. I NEVER RECIEVED A CALL FROM FALLON! Not even to be notified that the request was denied! I came to realize later in December when I recieved a $1200 bill that this wasn't resolved. I called customer service again and spoke with a gentleman that explained the request was denied and that this will be resolved after I explained what transpired. He assured me that he was going to expedite another request and he would be in contact with me within a few hours....... I'm still waiting for his call as well!
    I called again several times in the past few days and have spoken to several supervisors that promised to resolve this matter and call me back promptly........ Again, no one has called me back!
    December the 8th I spoke with a supervisor named Victoria which assured me she would get this resolved within the next 24 hours and gave me her direct number to reach her if I didn't hear from her [removed], again I haven't heard from her yet and I've made several attempts to reach her at her direct line to no avail.
    December the 9th I spoke with supervisor named Mike employee #[removed] in the Seattle call center, he appoligized for the mix up and that no one has called me back and that he would handle this matter and get back to me today December 10th....... Again no call..... I have spoken to 3 people today all which have made promises to call me back today within a few hours and none that have. I just got off the phone with a supervisor named Vanessa Jentfield at the Chicago call center and saw all the notations and assured me that there is no reason why this shouldn't be corrected and that she would be calling me back tonight or tomorrow. I will be sitting by the phone unless Verizon wireless decides to disconnect my service for non payment of $1200+.........
    I have filed a complaint giving a detailed explanation of what has transpired with the FCC as well as the FTC, my next step is to file a small claims lawsuit tomorrow morning with the state of Florida and see if Verizon finds a way to contact me then,I guess I will just have to wait and see.

    It was a good idea to file a complaint with the FCC, someone from Verizon will contact you by phone in an effort to  resolve your issue. I wouldn't suggest small claims court as they have not done anything illegal, (just bad customer service) and their contract with you is usually upheld, which in this case is not for the plan you want. The person contacting you likely has a little more pull, as the call centers can only uphold the written customer agreement made.

    We have a Service contract to bill the customer monthly based on the usage of our Equipment. It has three components.
    1. Usage no. of units produced during the month of Billing @ Rs.100 / unit
    2. Bonus amount on stoppage hours due to Customers (lack of input or power)@ Rs.300 / Hr
    3. Penalty amount on stoppage due to Service provider (lack of spares or Service Engineers) @ Rs.200 / Hr
    We created a Service contract with three Service materials (line items) with agreed rate as Condition value.
    Daily we recording the reading above 3 parameters using Measuring point of the Equipment. We have a report to get monthly total of Productivity, Stoppage due to Customer, Stoppage due to Supplier.
    We are thinking to create a Sales order every month (will copy the rate from contract) and enter the readings (manually) in the Quantiy field.
    If I enter the Condition value -200 for third parameter (Penalty), system accepts and reflected in Sales order too.
    Request to verify my flow and correct me If I am wrong.
    Other solutions are also welcome.

  • Trying to avoid having to phone customer service.....

    I already have BT Sport on Sky but we have a BT vision box attached to the tv upstairs and want to get BT Sport on there too. I just tried to order it online but it says "can't order" and I have to call a number.
    Having dealt with BT Customer Service over the phone far too many times in the past I am keen to avoid having to do this again...
    Does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to just order it online? We already have BT Infinity but aren't subscribed to any BT TV, we just use it as a DVR and Freeview box, and it is connected to the broadband. Do they just want to try to flog me more BT products...?

    You're not going to get very far with this, unfortunately, because:-
    1. BT Sport is a free add-on to BT Vision.  If you don't have a paid BT Vision subscription, there's nothing to add it to, and
    2. BT only gives you one free BT Sport subscription per broadband connection, either BT Vision or Sky.  You would have to pay for the other.
    Access via the web site or mobile apps is thrown in free for any BT broadband customer, and can be in addition to a free BT Vision or Sky subscription.

  • Phone customer service

    why does Verizon have to make getting through to customer service on the phone so frustrating?  I needed info I could not find on the website under my account, and even though I have FIOS TV, phone, internet, and cell phone with Verizon, and was calling from my home phone where the account is, they made me jump through hoops to talk to a person.  I entered my account phone number 3 times and each time it said it did not understand what I entered.  then it asked me what state I was calling from!  HELLO, they can see what state I am calling from, what was the point of annoying me further.  then when I finally got to someone and gave him my phone number (the same one he could see I was calling from), he then asked me for my account number.  I do paperless billing and don't keep a copy of the bill, so I would have to either log in on line or go through my files to find the account number.  and what big question did I have that required such security??? When does my free three-month trial of HBO expire!  It was like breaking into Fort Knox to get a simple question answered.
    I am happy with all of their services, but getting through to talk to a real human being without becoming very frustrated is way too difficult.

  • Attempted to deliver scratched and dented new fridge - customer service provides no help!

    Ordered a new refrigerator from BestBuy.com on 12/29. Delivery was attempted today 1/12, but we refused it as the new fridge was horribly scratched and dented. Called 1-888-BEST BUY and they were of absolutely no help - can't tell us when a replacement will be delivered, how many are in inventory, etc. The website shows that we could have one as early as 1/15, but no one in customer service has that same info. In the meantime, the installers cut the water line and moved the old fridge to our garage (where it cannot be plugged in), so we are without a fridge and without any help from Best Buy. I talked to a local store, and they apparently compete with BestBuy.com, so also could not provide any assistance. I'll definitely be buying in store now that I know that there is no customer service for online orders.

Not only do you have to figure out what brand and model provides the best features for you and your family, you also have to coordinate the color and look of the appliance to match the rest of your kitchen.  While I’m glad you found one that’s right for you, it’s incredibly disappointing to hear your appliance arrived in less than pristine condition, especially if we rendered your current fridge unusable.   • Your Customer Service Needs Fixed

    Your employees lie, don't keep their word, and make false accusations. You make customers wait hours and drive around for hours to fix YOUR MISTAKES. This is ridiculous.
    Here is my story:
    I first purchased an item from Best Buy store. I returned it as defective (which it was.) I checked the store before going in to see if more would be in stock. They said it was, but the store not only did not have it but gave me the wrong product. I was told to go to another city to find the right product. I called in again and found out that city didn't even have it. They sent me a replacement at a discount to resolve the issue, but it was also defective. I wished to try a different brand but wanted to be sure I could do so with the same discounted rate. I called in and explained the situation. Was told by ANDREW {Removed per Forum Guidelines} that they couldn't discount a "marketplace" item, but they could do a gift card for the amount if I returned my items and called back. He promised to write it in the notes and I checked twice to be sure that I could get the discount on their marketplace items. When I called back the customer service rep accused me of lying about my conversation with {Removed per Forum Guidelines} as {Removed per Forum Guidelines} had not put anything in the notes and had been lying about their ability to do a gift card. I spoke to his supervisor who then transfered me to RYAN in another department. RYAN offered my $10 off my $320 purchase to help, which I said was not enough as originally I got 50% off. His manager then offered $35. At that point I attempted to explain why this was unacceptable and mid-sentence he transfered me to Drew. Drew then told me he could offer me a $100 gift card but to get the full amount we were originally given, he needed his supervisor's permission. Drew promised to ask and call back in a few minutes. He never did. When I called back he next day, he said after talking to his supervisor he could now only give us a $40 giftcard. I asked to speak to the supervisor to understand this. I was transfered to Eddy who then patronized me as he re-explained marketplace to me and how they couldn't affect prices. (something I already understood from my hours of being told this and being either lied to or accused of lying about it.)  He also said he wouldn't offer more than the rude manager who transferred me mid-sentence. At this point it wasn't about the discount we got. It is about making it right for all my time you've wasted, not to mention gas money and to make right the HORRIBLE treatment I was given. This is not "FEEDBACK" this is wrong what you are doing. 
    I am tired of being lied to. I am tired of being patronized and accused of lying. I'm tired of waiting on the phone to fix YOUR customer service lies and problems.
    You need to fix your system. Your employees need to keep their word. You need to make this right.

  • V poor customer service / BT rep blatantly lied to...

    So, order for residential line + broadband placed on 31st Dec 2013. Engineer appointment booked for 3rd Feb 2014 - bit long, but if they're busy, they're busy.
    3rd Feb arrives, OpenReach engineer calls me to ask where property is, attends bang on time. Hooks up the master socket, spends 45mins up the pole, then comes back to state he can't complete the job. No spare lines on the pole, so they'll need to arrange traffic lights & dig the road up. OpenReach engineer states he should be back by 7th Feb to do the work.
    4th Feb, I get a phone call from an OpenReach engineer, wanting to know which house is mine, as he's outside with some traffic lights and a pneumatic drill. I confirm, he does the work.
    At this point, I looked on the online Order Tracker, to get the generic "order is being processed" message.
    So I waited until the 10th, after the OpenReach engineer stated the work should be complete, and called BT on 150. On this occasion, there were a lot of apologies, followed by a statement of "we'll call you within 2 weeks to confirm when the engineer will be back at the property to complete the work" - this despite the fact that the Engineer doesn't need access to the property to complete external work, but still, the UK has been hit by storms, so whatever, it's acceptable that it might take time.
    No phone call received from BT.
    So on the 24th, I called BT back again to chase the order. Again, a lot of apologies given and this time, I was told that OpenReach needed to re-assign the port that the line was assigned to (at the exchange), and that OpenReach had "confirmed that this would be done by the 27th" as well as "I'll call you back personally on the 27th, let you know that the work has been done, and confirm your line will be active by the 28th - but it may be in the evening, as sometimes it takes a couple of hours to get updates from OpenReach." I confirmed I was fine to recieve calls in the evening, and left it at that.
    27th comes & goes, no phone call from BT. Now, I've worked in call centres, so I understand that sometimes you'd say things to customers like "I'll call you back myself" - then get so snowed under with work that you simply forget to call back.
    So I called them today, passed through security, talked to a woman with a Scottish accent who was polite enough. Then she redirected the call & I was back at step 1, new person, had to pass security again, explain why I was calling again etc.
    This person tells me that the "confirmed" order date, by OpenReach, is now 4th March. Not only this, but there's no record on the notes about anyone stating they'd call me back. That, to me, means the person that promised it never intended to do it, and is a blatant lie to a customer. At one point today, they even tried to tell me that I never called on the 24th. Though he quickly back peddled on that one when I told him the exact contents of the notes that were on the system from that day (the Scottish lady had thankfully read that comment aloud before transferring the call).
    I'm not holding out much hope for the 4th, but I have been sent a text message today confirming that appointment. Because as we all know, SMS messages are contractually binding. I've also recieved an email "We found an answer on our Help website that you’ll be interested in: 10 reasons to visit BT.com" - no, I'm not interested in that, because the web portal doesn't detail anything beyond original provisioning. That's why I've been calling, nor did I ask for the spam email.
    At this point, if it wasn't for the fact that I knew I'd be back at the end of the FIFO queue with OpenReach, I'd be cancelling BT services & voting with my feet.
    Pretty disgusted with the customer service from BT so far - customers should not be the driving force behind getting their orders fulfilled. Luckily, I volunteered for the "service quality questionaire" - which I found myself repeatedly pressing 2, then left a message at the prompt. Though I'm doubtful anything will be done about it.

    Update, having just spent a while on the phone.
    Called once, got through to a woman with an Indian accent. She took details, suggested the problem may be within the house, read the notes, stated there was a fault at the exchange, called OpenReach, then came back to the line & apparently couldn't hear me. I could hear her, repeatedly saying "Hello" - I pressed a few DTMF keys, she still couldn't hear me. So, after being on the phone for 15mins exactly, I hung up & re-dialled.
    Next person, a man with an Indian accent. He apologised for the previous advisor not being able to hear me, looked into the case, called OpenReach and then stated my new activation date is the 7th, and that work is "currently ongoing at the exchange." He's also passed details to the "Offline team" who apparently will call me back to confirm the line is active on the 7th. 
    Call me sceptical, but I'm not holding my breath for a call back. I've openly told the advisor that I've been promised call backs in the past & never received them.
    Today, I was promised that the line would be active, and given a guarantee that the call back would happen. The advisor tried to suggest that "by compensation" he could give me username & password details for BT Wifi, though he quickly realised the error of his ways when I said I was already using it. I didn't even bother mentioning that I have unlimited data on my mobile phone, including tethering, and that I can pull adequate speeds out of my phone via HSDPA+.
    I was also informed during the second call, after asking to be transferred to the complaints department, that a complaint has been raised (VOL012...904 - mods, I've self censored that as I'm aware of the rules of posting). As a result of the complaint, and the fact that it's "being escalated to the highest point within BT" that I would "definitely recieve compensation after my line is activated, for services not being provided" but such compensation could only occur after the line is active, and will be applied to the bill.
    I'm not convinced that it's the advisors position to state that I'd definitely get compensation for services not provided, but hey, he said it anyway.
    I also asked the advisor to confirm the details of my complaint back to me, so he duly re-opened the complaint & re-read his statement. Apparently, I'm complaining about the state of the line, and the fact it has taken so long to activate. This is not the case. As I explained 3 times, my complaint is the complete lack of customer service offered by BT.
    I wholly appreciate that delays happen, and that BT are to a large extent at the mercy of OpenReach. That does not excuse being lied to, being given bad information, having to take my time out of daily activities to chase BT for updates on the situation etc.
    The advisor finished up by saying that he'd arrange an engineer visit to my property for the 7th. I've been very explicit in that I do not consider an engineer is needed. The line is connected from the master to the pole, the pole is connected to the cabinet, and the cabinet is connected to the exchange.
    Somehow, I think some poor OpenReach engineer will be knocking on my door on the 7th March. At least that way I might actually get the issue resolved.
    So, given that BT state there is a fault at the exchange, which was discovered when OpenReach attempted to re-assign the port, I've just checked:
    - There was a fault listed at my exchange on SHEFFIELD 3 EDGE SWITCH ROUTER1 - this fault was cleared on 19/02.
    - The "Major service outage" listed for North Wales due to severe weather does not affect my area code (01248).
    - Bangor Exchange has an on-going fault (ref: T10581) - but I'm not on, or routed through the Bangor Exchange.
    Unless anyone else can confirm that the Llanrwst exchange has a problem, I'm going to put this down to another lie (either by OpenReach or BT).
    So that's 15mins on the phone, followed by 18mins. More empty promises/guarantees. But on the bright side, I'm fast becoming an expert at getting the automated phone systems to dump me at a human being.
    EDIT: Oh, and another automated call back from the customer service survey robot. Option 2 followed by Option 2, option 3 was in there at some point, and I've left a voicemail including the complaint reference.

  • CREATIVE ZEN TOUCH - CUSTOMER SERVICE WONT H

    CREATIVE, i will never ever buy another product from you again and will encourage all others not to buy from you because of your poor customer service. My problem is not with the product as such, i own a Creative Zen Touch and until about?6 weeks ago everything was going fine, when i formatted my harddri've. It was then i relised i had misplaced my Zen Touch software CD, so as you'd expect the first place to look would be this website.. off i go looking around the store and customer support, i even sent an email.. to be fair i did receive an automated response about tunring off the Zen and trying again (useless when i need a software cd howevere), so i waited a while (a week) to see if they'd reply - which they didn't. So, i then sent another which ended with the same result., and then again with the same results. Just now i finally called customer support (paying intl call-rates) and all i got was an automated response telling me to log onto the customer-support page on the website. ARGHH!!?Basically if anyone, ANYONE can please please tell me where i can get the Creative Zen Touch software CD it would very very very very very appreciated as i go on holiday in two weeks and i don't really want to fork out more cash on an I-Pod or I-Pod alternati've (never again will i buy Creative).     Clearly, this is not true.
    Despite seeing everywhere that "firmware available via USB from creative.com" the Creative Sleek Photo has no firmware that is available online anywhere and when you ask, everyone from customer support talks to you as if you have 5 heads for even suggesting that it should be available like anything else is.
    This IS ridiculous and I too, have no more interest in Creative products despite purchasing my last 2 MP3 players from this brand, I'm done with this mess. It's frustrating beyond belief that a simple fix turns into a huge fiasco all because the company has no real rhyme or reason for failing to offer any support for a product, instead forcing you to send said product in the mail to take weeks for something that otherwise take a few minutes.
    Truly absurd.

  • I have mistyped my apple id into my new phone, now it wont let me sign out

    I have logged into my new Iphone 6 and I have mistyped my apple id. I missed out one character in my email address.
    It now won't let me log out of it without asking for a password and it says that I haven't verified the account (as it is not my email)
    I have tried to reset the phone completely but it is asking for the password again... PLEASE HELP
