Cisco Prime 1.3 applications dashboard not visible

Dear all,
I have added a flow exporter from 2 wlc 5508 in direction of our Cisco Prime, under system / data sources i see data from my controllers coming but status is down.
Addtionally I cannot see under details dashboards the applications dashboard. even if i try to manage dashboards i cannot have applications.
After checking our license with our reseller he said that we should have this netflow feature,
But could you explain me why i cannot see the dashboards ?
Do we need to install or configure a module ?

I'm novice to EPMA.
I have successfully created and deployed an EPMA application,but when i'm unable to see the application(s) under planning node.
As per my knowledge EPMA application by default deployes in calculation manager,if so why the application is not visible.

The issue is resolved now.
The calculation manager service was set to automatic, set it back to manual and restarted calculation manager service.
It showed the application in calc manager.

Cisco Prime Infrastructure Scheduled Configuration Archive not executing

We have a deployment of Cisco Prime Infrastrcuture 1.3 (1.3.0.20).
Configuration Archive is a feature that collects and archives the device configurations i.e. cisco switches.
You have an option to schedule this to run, say daily, weekly etc. Once scheduled you can see it in the "Jobs Dashboard" and with the "next start time" of what you configured. I have a situation whereby the time it is suppose to start - it doesnt - howevere flags the job as a "success". Not newe device configurations are archived and the "next start time" remain the same. Its almost like it is failing to execute, but some other process under the hood thinks that it was been executed correctly?
Any ideas or experience that could help here would be appreciated!

Some extra info that has just come to my attention. At one point we were running (we're actually still running) CiscoWorks with LMS3.2 and Cisco NCS 1.x. I merged these two things together into Cisco Prime Infrastructure (upgraded the licensing to get 450 lifecycle licenses to cover the APs + all of the devices coming from LMS3.2). I followed all of the documented procedures to upgrade the NCS appliance to Prime Infrastructure. But when I type "show application" from the CLI of the NCS appliance (now the Prime Infrastructure appliance) I see this:
HQ-NCS1/admin# show application
NCS Cisco Prime Network Control System
Is that normal? Maybe this is my problem. Should this output list "Cisco Prime Infrastructure" instead of (or in addtion to) Cisco Prime Network Control System? When I login to the GUI it shows "Cisco Prime Infrastructure" and the GUI has changed considerably (menus are different) so I'm assuming that the application upgrades I launched from the CLI to go to Prime Infrastructure worked fine.

Cisco Prime Infraestrutre 2.0 - JOB Not ends

i've a problem in my Cisco prime Infraestructure, i've scheduled a IOS upgrade with a reload in the end, i forgot to permit in the equipment to do reloads from SNMP, and the question is all the job was done except the reload, bu in Jobs dashboard i still seeing that the job is in progress anda i can not abort the process.
Anyone kows ow can i clean this job, from the job list, and why this happens?

i've alreay added the snmp-server command.
With Job i still have problems, qhen i try do abort the job i've the follwing error:
"Selected jobs were not aborted. FAILURE : Exception occured while aborting the job : Job with job id 2752679 does not have any running cancellable tasks.-JOBM_042"
The cancel option isn't enable.

Cisco Prime Infrastructure 1.2 is not working https & ncs

Hi, I have just deploy Cisco Prime Infrastructure 1.2 in a virtual appliance (Vmware Esxi 5.1). Console is ok & setup is also completed. but there is no NCS application. only app is shwoing: NCSPNP
Cannot access from https also.
Please suggest how to Starting Prime Infrastructure Serve

From what you describe, it sounds like you have installed the Plug and Play (PNP) ova image. You need to install the Prime Infrastructure image.

Application Components not visible in SAP R/3 tree

We have standalone system and we have installed ECC 6.0 with BI Content. Harddisk is 320 GB with 2 GB RAM. We want to extract the data from R/3 to BW which are on the same system (As ECC 6.0 contains builtin BW).
In RSA1 the application components are not visible in the SAP R/3 tree under datasource tab. When I am replicating the entire SAP data source it is giving shortdump(STORAGE_PARAMETERS_WRONG_SET).
How can I replicate a particular data source to avoid the memory problems because I have only 2 GB RAM.

You can also Replicate a single datasource w/o replicating the App Comp using a FM.

          decided to deploy it as Explicitly Defined Default Web Application.
          By this we recordniced that the weblogic.httpd.defaultWebApp property
          worked not that way descibed in the
          Weblogic Documentation. You have to write the path to the WebApp not the
          name!
          So we have the following Entry in the weblogic.properties:
          weblogic.httpd.defaultWebApp=i:/if_home2/web
          This works fine. The Server starts and serves the WebApp the way we
          expected. But wenn we start the Weblogic
          Console the WebApp ist not visible in the "myserver/HTTP/Servlet web
          applications" folder. This one is empty
          now! Previously the "General" Entry for the Implicitly Defined Default
          Web Application was shown here, which
          showed our Servlets and JSP's and their hit count and parameters.
          So there is no chance to monitor the Servlets and JSP's of the default
          Web Application.
          I tried to deploy our WebApp a secound time with
          weblogic.httpd.webApp.OurApp=i:/if_home2/web
          but this create a second independent WebApp. OurApp is shown in the
          Weblogic Console but it does not monitor

in my development environment i checked in site collection feature, it isn't available in site collection feature but still i am getting those web parts in web part gallery while adding it on page.
Also, in Production environment, feature is available in /templates/features folder after deployment, but not available in web part gallery while adding it on page.
I tried with uploading .webpart file which is available in /templates/features production environment as i mentioned, is running for one web part. Not for second web part and giving me security error.
As, uploading .webpart file is not feasible solution, please tell me how could i do that with .wsp file?
please tell me what could be another workaround.

I want to download Cisco Prime Infrastructure 1.2 OVA but I can't find it, there is just "Cisco Prime Infrastructure 1.2 Plug and Play for Virtual Appliance " . Is this the right OVA ?

As an alternative, you can download PI 1.3 OVA, where you can find the same features and

Cisco Prime 2.0 - Nexus clients not discover

Dear all,
I've installed a Cisco Prime infrastructure 2.0 and it's working perfectly except for Nexus 7k : I canot see the wired client connected (useful for traking) while it's working fine on many other devices. The devices are managed with an inventoy collection completed (No data vailable in Device Details/ clients / current associated wired clients).

Configure the device to map community with context using the below command: snmp-server context vrf, snmp-server mib community-map context

CAF-Application Service not visible in GP

Hi ,
I've created a composite appliocatioon service which contains an entity service and an application service.
After deploying, I also tested it successfully.
Now I want to use this service in callable object in GP.
But I'm not able to see the application service there.
My application is visible there, but next two column(Service name and method name) remains blank.
Wat I've read from tutorials is that only application service can be used in GP.
It is showing service name and method name for caf.core and caf.tc,but not for my application.
Can anybody tell me the reason what is the possible cause for that ?

I have already tested the service by the procedure you have mentioned.It is working fine from service browser window.
Is there anything else need to be done to use that service in CAF GP(some configurations etc)?
While creating CO, it is showing the service name and methods for caf.core but not for my Application.

All custom application folders not visible on nwds

We are using NWDI and NWDS is used as IDE.
We have created a custom b2b application on NWDS,every step was successfull.
But now we are not able to see all the folders that should be there inside the custom application.
This application is running fine also and when we checked for its content on the j2ee server itself
all the folders were there.
Does anyone have any idea,whats going wrong and what's need to be done.Somebody told me about public/private but I am not clear on that.Is that can be a reason for this problem.How to resolve this.

I copied all the folder manually to NWDS and its working fine now.I dont now the reason why those folders were missing.

I think that the public/private not causes to missing the content in NWDS. Probably some one deployed this content or application directly using the SDM password and they never check in this component and that's why the application is working fine and the content got deployed but the latest source is not available in DTR file system. So, When you sync this application form the DTR the latest you got is whatever the previous version you had and which is missing the latest content.

Webdynpro application group not visible in Portal

Dear All,
I have a webdynpro for java application in my portal and being used by nearly 70000 employees.
Strange issue: 1 of the employee in the application cannot see the group UI element in the Bottom of the page, though I had not made it invisible or anything. All others could perfectly see all parts of the UI.
After much investigation and failure, I deleted the Userid and made his ID again, to my astonishment, the problem was solved.
Did anyone experience this issue and can explain how and why did this happend???

Hi Ankur,
The user might have selected the "Remove from Page" option from the menu of the iview on the right hand side. We had the same problem and realised about this after a while. It mus have been the same issue.
