CLEARING DP VIA MIRO VS F-54

DEAR GURUS,
i have question about DP clearing. here the case:
1. i clear DP and the invoice through f-54 and input the invoice number. and the result in FBL1N is there are 2 open items, DP
and   Invoice which have the same assignment. that helps us to clear the invoice and DP when do outgoing payment.
and the second way to clear DP is:
2. when input the incoming invoice, i can clear the DP that has been made directly by push button "clearing down payment". and
result when i clear DP via MIRO is there are 2 open items in FBL5N, but do not have the same assignment, but just have the
Text. and i think it more difficult to match item to be clear during do outgoing payment.
my question is can i made clearing DP via MIRO but in FBL1N in i still have the same assignment? i think its helper than have the same text as reference to do outgoing payment.
need your help gurus. thanks & regards.

  • Auto clearing of Accounting entries posted via MIRO & MR8M

    Hi Gurus,
Currently we are doing the development relating to u201CDuplicate Invoice checku201D.
In one of the scenario system is referring the Accounting document of the cancelled MIRO.
Subject accounting document is there in the open items (FBL1N) and the corresponding reversal accounting document (Generated via MR8M) is also reflecting in the Open items (FBL1N).
MIRO documents get cancelled via T-code u2013 MR8M & the Material documents shows the cancelled / relevant document reference against each other.
Since both of our accounting document (generated via MIRO & MR8M) are appearing in Open items system is referring that in our Duplicate Invoice check development which we want to avoid.
If I am not wrong, in case of SD Billing document if we reversed, system automatically cancelled the relevant accounting document against each other.
Does anybody have an idea as how to clear these 2 accounting documents  (MIRO & MR8M) against each other ?
    Regards,
    Shridhar

    Hi Prasad,
Thanks for the option but we had aready given a though about clearing the Vendor line items.
In stead of F-44, we can set the F.13, background scheduling with daily execution and can clear the documents. Background execution in the night will occupy our space hence need instant result if possible. As well as background execution will happend in the timing after office hours so could be the case that before doing auto clearing someone may get the concern cancelled accounting document pertaining to the cancelled MIRO (Vendor Invoice - Line item) in the open items.
While doing the MR8M (Logistic Inv Reversal) alongwith Material Document reversal can we clear the accounting documents instantly on its own against each other ?

  • Credit Memo via MIRO applying cash discounts.

    All,
We have shared services applying credit memo's in A/P against a vendor/purchase order via MIRO.  If the personnel does not select that the payment terms be net 0, due immediately, then the vendor/po default is used which will ultimately apply the first discount term (in this case 1%) regardless of the baseline date.  We should not be applying discounts to credit memos.
Any suggestions on dealing with this scenario?
Thank you for your help in advance.

    Hi all,
I have exactly the same problem. Can anyone help ?

  • Error "No alternative payer/payee defined" when reversing invoice via MIRO

    Dear experts,
we have created an invoice via MIRO, but we need to reverse it. While we try to reverse it using MIRO, we get the following error:
    "No alternative payer/payee defined"
We have reviewed possible causes of this error, as explained in several posts in this forum, that suggest the error is related to One TIme Vendor settings. However, we are not using One Time Vendor, neither we have alternative payers defined in the vendor master record.
The strange thisng for us is that we get no error while posting the invoice, but we get this error while trying to reverse it.
    Any help is welcomed.
Thanks a lot in advence for your time and advise.
    Kind regards.
    Marcos Suárez

    Hi,
    thank you for your answer.
The strange thing in our case is taht we do not have have an alternative payee informed in XK02 for our vendor (neither at general level, nor at company code level). Is there any other possibility?
Thank you very much in advance.
    Kind regards.

  • Quantity differences when performing IV via MIRO

When posting an invoice via MIRO we are unable to change the quantity to match the invoice. The orignal order was for 50, the good receipt was posted for 50 however the supplier only billed for 33. But when accounting tries to post the invoice for only the 33 they can not change the quantity to match so in turn the invoice does not balance.
I will add that this just became an issue when we upgraded to ECC6.0. Accounting was allowed to continue to use tcode MRHR in the previous 4.6C version however that tcode is no longer available in ECC6.0 so they have been forced to start using MIRO for the first time.
Is this by design in MIRO? Or is there a setting I can change that will open this up?

We managed to determine that the account assignment must be changed when posting.

    Hi,
I just re activated that module function and process this practise in the similar way SAP has guided in its library which i can tell you in the brief. I suppose that way will work for you.
Posting of Down Payment Clearings and Down Payments in Purchase order
    1. Create a purchase order with one or more items. To do this, on the SAP Easy Access screen choose Logistics -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Create ->Vendor/Supplying Plant Known (ME21N).
    a) In the item details, choose the Invoice tab page. In the Down Payment Category field, choose the Mandatory Down Payment or Voluntary Down Payment setting.
    Confirm your entry.
    b) Enter an amount in the Down Payment Amount field, or a percentage in the Down Payment % field.
    c) Enter a due date in the DP Date field.
    d) Save your entries.
    2. On the SAP Easy Access screen choose Logistics -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Reporting ->Down-Payment Monitoring for PO.
    3. In the Purch.Doc. field, enter the purchase order number of the purchase order you just created, and enter the appropriate due date interval.
    Choose Execute.
    4. Select the purchase order you created in the list and choose Create Down Payment Request.
The Down Payment Based on Purchase Orders screen appears.
    5. In the group box Execution, choose either Down Payment or Down Payment Request and then choose Continue.
Depending, either the Down Payment Request screen or the Down Payment screen appears.
    6. Change the proposed amount to be paid in the Down Payment Amount field and choose Continue.
    7. on the subsequent screens (similar to F-47 / F-48), enter the required data and post the document.
Posting of Down Payment Clearings in Logistics Invoice Verification
    Preparation for this process:
    1. Create a purchase order with one or more items. To do this, on the SAP Easy Access screen choose Logistics -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Create -> Vendor/Supplying Plant Known (ME21N).
    2. Use the Financial Accounting transactions (such as F-48) to create down payments for this purchase order.
    3. Post a goods receipt with reference to the purchase order you created. To do this, on the SAP Easy Access screen choose Logistics -> Materials Management -> Inventory Management -> Goods Movement -> Goods Movement (MIGO).
    Step to follow for Execution
    1. Post an invoice with reference to the purchase order you created. To do this, on the SAP Easy Access screen choose Logistics --> Materials Management --> Logistics Invoice Verification --> Document Entry --> Enter Invoice (MIRO).
    2. Check the invoice items and correct them if necessary.
    3. Choose the Down Payment Clearing pushbutton.
    4. In the Amount Entered column, enter all the amounts you want to use to clear the displayed down payments.
    Save your entries.
    5. Post the invoice.
    6. Display the invoice document. To do this, on the SAP Easy Access screen choose Logistics --> Materials Management --> Logistics Invoice Verification --> Further Processing --> Display Invoice Document (MIR4).
i Think the way all the process mention here will help to process your requirement becuase this worked for me and i follow the same way. One think which i like to share with you is i assigned the advance payment at document header level.
    Regards
    Arun

  • Clearing Document via FP05

    Hi Folks,
    SAP - IS Utilities
I have a requirement in which i need to clear an existing FICA document. I am doing a posting via payment lot.
I have added a custom FM in FICA event 0020 which occurs just before the document posting occurs.
The problem here is I want Y amount to be cleared from X amount which is present on the account. But everytime i enter some amount in selection screen of FP05 which is less than the amount on the customer to be cleared the clearing document (T_FKKCL structure in event 0020 ) gives me that the amount to be cleared is X amount. It does not take into account the amount i have added in.
Do let me know why we are having this kind of problem and what is the solution to resolve this problem.
    Regards,
    Imran

    Hello,
    Hope it helps.
But i can recall for the EBS bank statement upload into a previous fiscal year, ie, 31.12.2010.  I had to close the current fiscal year temporarily.
See what happens in your system when it tries to clear with F-03.  Though as mentioned re-check as F-03 will default to the system date --- today.

  • BW Cache-Clear automatically via Report ?

sometimes, we had a (maybe) cache-problem?
a user starts a query (via BW-portal) with date 26.01.2012
the result is the same report but from date 25.01.2012
    after a manually cache-refresh
a user starts a query (via BW-portal) with date 26.01.2012
the result is the same report with the correct date 26.01.2012
is it possible to force the cache-Clear or Cache-refresh automatically once a day e.g. with a report ?

o.k. - i just had enough time now to search the forum ........
I created an ABAP with usage of function RSR_CACHE_CLEAR_ALL_CACHES
and made an SM36 Job-Entry as every day clear-Job.
    Done.

If you know the way to find that screen, please let me know.
    Thanks a lot!.

  • Invoice message O/P generated at both header and item via MIRO

    HI
We have a SRM PO with ERS fuctionality and have been able to pot ERS invoice successfully with message output to SUS SRM client from SAP system. Each ERS invoice have only one message output with one Idoc.
However when same process is followed to transaction MIRO to post invoice manually we have output mesages both on header level as well as at line item level.
Impact: Due to message duplication at header and line item, as a result two IDOC are generated in SAP posting duplicate invoice document on SRM SUS system.
Question: Do have standard setup to control output message determination defined at line and header level. If yest please suggest suitable changes for output determination setting

    Thanks for the suggestion.
Issue was resolved after custom coding through Maintian Requirment...And noticed behavior is standard (confirmed by SAP).
