Closing programs within a repeat

Hello, I am writing a program that inserts photos and descriptions of them into Appleworks. I want to be able to close the preview program after I insert the photo into appleworks. Thanks for teh help.

Programs within the app keep closing

The app loads fine and i can open the programs within (namely Sage accounts), but when i close down a screen within Sage it kicks me out of the App. I can still see the page in within the app but it won't bring it up when i click on it. The only
way i can move forward is to shut the App down completely and then reopen it. It then reopens to the page it kicked me off of, so it must still be there in the background, but just seems to freeze when going between screens.
Its driving me mad as its taking twice as long to do any work!

If you are using RDC (Remote Desktop Client which is for iOS or MacOS), please test if same issue occurs in Remote Desktop from a Windows system.
I would like to confirm if the issue only occurs on RDC or not.
If it occurs on all remote connections, it will be the application which cause the issue.

Create closed caption within Premiere Pro

Question: I'm using Premiere Pro 6 on a intel Xeon mac osx 10.8.3. I need to do captions for my project. I followed the Tutorial on "Create closed caption within Premiere Pro". When it comes to going to the window tab and selecting Captions.
Problem: in my copy of Premiere Pro 6 there isn't this option for selecting the captions buttton. How can this be resolved ?

That tutorial is talking about Premiere Pro CC, which doesn't come out until June 17th. The current CS6 version cannot actually create Closed Captioned files. You need to do that in a third party program for import into PP.

When I open itunes I get a 'DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION' 'Windows closed program'. Can anybody help please.

When open iTunes it starts OK then a message from Windows appears, 'DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION Windows closed program'. Then the whole thing shuts down. Does anybody know how to sort this out please. I am using XP operating system and have recently updated iTunes. Thanks

It sounds as if iTunes is failing to launch properly on your Windows computer. You don’t mention what version of Windows you have, but one of these two articles should be useful to you -

Does each query template call within a repeater re-create the connection?

How exactly does query template calls from a BLS work? Does each call re-create the connection to the database, or does the connection stay open for awhile?
Specifically, in my situation we are making query template calls to a database within a repeater loop to insert rows and I'm curious whether it is recreating the connection each time. We can't insert all the rows at once because of JDBC limitations, so have to insert row by row. We are reading the data from an xml file and then inserting the data into the database and the performance seems slower than I would have expected (even inserting row by row). Currently it is taking around ~4m to insert ~2600 records into the database.
I thought one of two things would be causing the slow speed.
1. XMII is recreating the DataBase connection for each query template call
2. The repeat reading from the XML document is time-consuming as 11.5 BLS XML manipulation is slow.

Hi Kerby,
It will recreate connection eachtime.
You need to use the repeater action block to insert all the rows.If you wont use repeater,it will insert only one row.
2600 records inserting into database means you will get performance issue because eachtime it will recreate the connection.
To avoid the performance issue you need to do the following things:
1) you schedule the transaction in backend.It will insert the records in the database table.
2) If you want to populate the data in front end , write a query using that table and make a grid.
It wont create any performance issue.Always big transactions we need to schedule in backend to avoid the performance issue.

Tryb a reset, hold power and home button for 15-20 seconds until the apple logo appears.

click the home button twice, when you see the apps line up on the page, swipe the ones you want to close up and off the page. Scroll to access more apps, tap the home button once to exit the mode
For battery issues, look in the notifications. iOS7 defaults a lot on that you may not need. Also look to the background updating of apps. That can drain battery too.

Closing MacBook without closing programs?

Well this has been a quesion that is bugging me. Say I am on iChat and I am talking away and then my younger family comes along and they great me. I don't want them to see what I am doing on the computer, so I close it. But when I closed it I got signed off. Now some progrmas don't get affected, like Safari. But I recall that iTunes also completely quit.
Is there a way that you can completely close the MacBook without any programs quitting? Like I have Sleep disable because I keep it on at night once in a while in case someone talks to me, like a family member far away that I have been meaning to talk to. So sleep is disabled, or something like that because I turn the screen brigtness to 0 and then after like 5 minutes the little white light shows. And, that never causes me any closings or things.
So is there any possible way that I could close my MacBook without any programs quitting?

No. When the computer is put to sleep all processes are suspended. If you use a wireless connection for the internet the Airport is also suspended during sleep. It will reconnect when the computer wakes up.
In order for the computer to continue working with the lid closed you need to connect an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
There are one or two third-party utilities that are supposed to keep the computer awake with the lid closed. You'll find them at VersionTracker or MacUpdate. I've never used them so I have no idea if they work.

I-Tunes Auto-Restart After Closing Program

My i-Tunes began automatically restarting when I close the window on my desktop. It is pretty annoying.
It only restarts after I have had it open. If I have not opened i-tunes it behaves. But, if I open i-Tunes to listen to music on by desktop, and then close the program when I am done, it will restart within 10-seconds.
I am using Windows 7 and i-Tunes 10.2.2.12
I can't find a solution and sfter 15-minutes of trying to find a link to submit a help request, I gave up and am trying this avenue.

Yes. FATFS.NLM tries to mount all FAT partitions it finds, not just the
boot partition. So any problem FAT partition may cause trouble.

This sounds like your disk is physically broken. As a short term solution,

Alternatively you could create a PL/SQL procedure that wraps a Java Runtime object.
You can find an example of this in the Ask Tom column of Oracle Magazine. You can get there from OTN home page. Type "Java Runtime" into the Search Archive engine.

Can I have a selectManyListBox within a <ui:repeat> or that is completely wrong ? I can displayed the values properly , however I cant retrieve the selected items in my list.

Closing programs shortcut on my Tour

Is there a shorter way to close programs used on my Tour? Is there a better way than closing each one one at a time?

Hi. I am happy to look into this for you. I do not see a way to close programs that is already on the phone unless you want to do it one by one. You can always search the blackberry app market to see if there is anything to suit your needs.
