    Hi,
SAP PS has good Integration with PP and FI CO modules. So goes well along the ETO scenario.
The normal process is that Project is created and goes in to design phase , where we design product as per customer's requirement . Design BOM helps in this.Once you design is ready you can generate Production Orders base on MRP generated with reference to Projects.
All the cost including overheads are charged to the Project as actual cost.
These costs are later settled to Cost Center.

  • NO Production Declaration without costing release.

    Hi there,
I want to connect my costing release with production declaration. where users will not be able to declare the production without its costing release through Ck40n or ck11n & MF30
pl. help me to do it.

    Dear Nishant,
Is it in a Discrete scenario or else in a REM scenario?
If it's a Discrete scenario, then you can make use of this BADI - WORKORDER_UPDATE during Order release and check for
current Planned price(as this field gets updated after releasing the cost estimate) MBEW - LPLPR,if it's empty or zero
means, then do not allow for release.
In a REM scenario assign a REM profile which requires (post activities based on std.cost estimate of the material) a std cost
estimate, then in this case you cannot carryout a GR.

  • CN41N and S_ALR_87013533 report not showing Production order planned cost

    Hi Experts,
I am having issue to get total planned production order values in my CN41N or S_ALR_87013533 cost report. I am facing 2 issues :
    1. CN41N repoet does not show individual material cost planned in BOM.
    2. CN41N report and S_ALR87013533 report does not show total value but only picking fixed value.
    Example :
    1. CN41N report :
Above screenshot shows no values in Project plan cost & Order cost column but it shows total cost as a lumpsum on top for project. I need to know how can i get material cost populated here for Project Valuated stock material?
    2. S_ALR_87013533
This report shows Total Cost of BOM as 1 line under Material Procurement activity similar to CN41N report. Also Order value is picking from Fixed cost from planned order and total cost is added on top. How can i get Total cost picked from production order?
Is there any Setting in PS config which allow me to pick the detail production order plan cost in both report under planned cost.
    Thanks in advance.
    Ashish

    Hi Ashish,
I doubt whether Item level reporting  in S_ALR... (hierarchy report) is possible or not because I haven't seen item level cost in them only the lump-sum cost because they are summarized at cost object level itself. Navigation path are there which we use to go into details of cost.

Secondly, after I have created the new work centre (having copied being copied from another),I need to create a new production Scheduler and Cost Centre? How I will be able to do so,also? Will the Production Scheduller and Cost Centre assignments fom the old work centre be copied, too,or I will need to create/copy these from scratch?

    Hello,
You can create a new work center by copying an existing work center. in the cr01 screen in the copy from column put the plant name and Ref. work center name and put enter. all the existing data will be copied to the newly created work center. no need to create new assignment to  Production Scheduller and Cost Center.
    Hope it helps.

  • Material cost in production order plan cost

    Dear all,
-we are in sales order cost object with non-valuated stock...
-we have created two production orders from MRP run. First one is for semi finished material and second one is for finished material.
    Issue-1
Both production orders not showing material cost in production order plan cost...
    Issue-2
When i consumed raw material against semi-finished material production order (261-E), system not gnerated any document and material cost not updated either in production order or sales order...
where should i do changes in configuration to get updated material cost in the production order...
    Best regards
    Kishore

    Hi
Issue 1 : Check Whether Standard cost is present for header material of prod order, and under control tab of order costing variant for plan is present.
    Issue 2 : Use 261 instead 261E.

  • PCC vs Production Order Based Costing

    Hi,
Please reply back difference between PCC and Production Order Based Costing.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sameer

    Hi,
PCC is product cost collector which is  used in mostly REM process.
    1. Here you have to creat the product cost collector mean sthe cost is based on period, when u create PCC you are creating the priliminary cost means the quanity strucure costing considering BOM , activity prize and the cost from costing sheet i.e admin cost, etc .
    2. In product cost collector the the cost of document posted in backflush is posted periodiclly. For that u have to run standard cost run i. CK11N and CK24. monthly.
    3. but in Production oredr or Process order thre is no PCC instaed of PCC the cost is settle with the settlement profile defined in OPL8 i.e order type dependent parameter SPRO.
    4. Each prd ord is REL,CNF and TECO when the status is TECO means the logistic point of view the order is complet now ready to costing .
5 Then FI consultant settle this order
    6. here order based costing no period based costing
    hope u r prob solve..

  • Co-Product & by product

What is the diffrence between the co-product & the by product. How does these influence any transactions in PP?
Could u provide with me an example of a co product & by product?
    Thanks & Rgds
    Charan

    Hi
By product is the product which will be creaed while making production
you have to maintain the setting in BOM with negative quantity (-). Then system automatically will pick this as by prodcut.
movement type 531 to post the by-product during confirmation. Settlement of cost will be done to the header of material.
    Co product is the product
You have to activate check box in MRP2 view for co product.
    <b>Co-Products</b>
    Use
Products that are usually manufactured together can be produced using one production order.
The main product is the primary reason for the production process. It is displayed in the production order header. The system also creates a separate order item for the main product.
A co-product is a product that is produced in conjunction with other products. The system creates a separate order item in the production order for each co-product. As a result, it is possible to display actual costs at co-product level.
A by-product is a product that is produced in conjunction with other products. The system does not create a separate order item for each by-product. The material valuation of a by-product is always based on the price specified by price control in the material master.
Creating a production order to manufacture co-products has the following advantages:
Main product and co-product(s) are settled to different receivers
Goods movements can be posted simultaneously for all products manufactured in the order
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled if you want to create a production order with co-products or by-products.
    Prerequisite for the main product:
The indicator Co-product must be activated in the material master of the main product (MRP area)
    Prerequisites for a co-product:
The indicator Co-product must be activated in the material master of the co-product (MRP area)
The co-product must be listed as an item in the bill of material of the main product
On the Basic data tab page of the BOM item, the indicator Co-product must be activated in the field group General data.
    Prerequisites for a by-product:
The by-product must be listed as an item in the bill of material of the main product
The bill of material item must have a negative quantity (for example ‘1 -’).
Do not set the indictor Co-product for by-products.
    Plese reward if useful

  • XI/PI ANSI/ISA-95 Content For Production Schedule; Production Performance

    Hello experts,
Can you please let me know what the correct name of the package is on SAP Market Place for the pre-defined ANSI/ISA-95 Content (for Production Schedules; Production Performance; Maintenance Requests;Maintenance Workorders etc. for SAP MII scenarios) .
    Thanks and regards,
    Brendon

    Hi Brendon,
If you are trying to find out packages for MII, the best link is this: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/webcontent/uuid/90537bfe-fd6b-2910-fda3-b04f1177c51e. [original link is broken] The specific link for standard MII templates (version 12.1) is: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e090ef23-dbc5-2a10-0994-b589d869cd92. NOTE: It requires a S user and also SDN user to download.
I tried to find out what ANSI/ISA-95 refers and I guess what you need is into PP templates into the link above. It doesnu2019t make sense u201CXI contentu201D if you need MII content, my advice is trying to download and install into your MII this templatesu2026

  • Can Tcode exist in Pre-production and Production without transporting it...

    Hi ABAP Guru's,
Can a T-code that has been created in Development system saved in a package be available in Pre-production and Production environment without transporting it.
    Apt answers will be rewarded.
    Raghav

    Hi,
I hope it is not possible in normal scenario. But it is possible if below thing has happend.
eg: U created a transport in development system and assigned to some package/development class.
If some one created another TR and transported the whole package to quality/production then your transaction code will also be tranported but ur TR will not be. This i am not sure. But still....i think this can happen.
Check the above thing if it has happend.
    Thanks,
    Vinod.

  • New tab for Contract for data about products and product sales.

Looking for ideas to implement a new tab on the Contract (RECN)
We have some basic data about products and product sales that we want to have implemented on a screen tab for a contract.  The user needs to be able to enter information about a product, quantity, year grown, and tax info. And then each of these products may have one or many sales records showing date of sale, quantity sold, and a brief note.
So a contract can have 1 or many products and a product can have one or many sales records.
The user needs to be able to enter, update and delete any one of these records.  And, ideally, enter multiple of each before saving.
Do any of you have ideas about how to go about this?  Using ALV grids? or table controls? I'm still wet behind the ears regarding doing screen development in SAP so am open to any and all suggestiions.
SAP 6.4 is the version we are at.
    Thanks
    Laurie

Maybe the original order to renew and keep unlimited data was cancelled because it was not an option. It wasn't a "bait-and-switch" The order was cancelled, it wasn't switched. When you called to reissue the order they told you the correct options so they did not switch you without your knowledge. The second rep was correct, he didn't lie, the first rep did. Verizon cancelled the order because if they didn't you would have been set up w/ new 2 year agreements on a tiered data plan, which would have been illegal. Thats why they cancelled it. So you can either not make the change, keep the unlimited data and buy the phones outright. Or switch, go to a tiered plan, and get new phones. By glitch they meant the system accidentally allowed you to keep the unlimited plan, though it was not an option. Verizon has had this rule since they removed the unlimited plan back in '11.
