Commission based on sales targets

Sales Representatives get commission based on achievement of sales targets. How to configure..?

Rebate functionality will not work as already suggested since in standard SAP, rebate will be accrued only against Payer and I am sure, in your case, you cannot treat the sale representative as payer.

    lets say -sales person 'A' did sales during the month 5lakh on material group1 and 10 lakh material group2 .

    so total commisssion they will book 125000(25000+100000) on GL .

    there are two ways:
    1. near-realtime, which is easier. Use SQL queries to get the information from real time tables from ICM. The information is not really realtime, since it is updated in 5-10 seconds interval.
    2. CTI monitor, which might be challenging. Use the CTI interface of ICM to 'subscribe' for all/selected events, including state changes and then do your calculations. It's realtime, but again, programming it may take a while.

    Hi,
    Looking at your code I will check how you fill the fields in the oPurOrder object because the code you copied is only for the document lines and the error refers to the document itself (maybe you forgot to assign the cardcode property).
    If you are basing the document, a good and reliable method is to export the base to a xml file and load the target using this file. This way you garantee that all the info of the document is copied. After that you could use your code to update the info you want to change the same way you pasted it in your post.

  • Calculate Commissions based on sales

    Hello,
    is there a way in SAP to calculate commissions based on sales?
    We have hired a sales man. Is there a way to implement his company as a account and that he will get a payment check for his comissions once the customers paid the invoices?
    I know there are already many threads here about this topic and I browsed through a lot of them. But I still don't have an idea how to set this up. I also checked this link already, but it didn't really help me a lot.

    Anne, the commissions are a rather complex subject in SD, probably because companies handle the process differently and also sales reps are usually very sensitive about the subject. There is a special module "Incentives and Commissions" by Vistex, which is designed specifically for this task. It is pretty expensive, from what I've heard.
    There is also something called "SAP Compensation Management", but I'm not familiar with it and am somewhat skeptical about the claims made here:

    P.S. You write "a sales man", so I'd question if it's worth bothering at all for just one person.

    Requirement :  Sales target
    Every month a new sales target is given to each customer(distributor) for promoting the sales. This sales target is based on customer and material group.
    Ex:  customer     Material group            target
    A.v international        Vests          1000000
    A.v international          Briefs      1200000
    When customer orders material which belongs to Vest material group, system will read above target of Rs 1000000 and allow the order to execute.     
    Ex: on 18/01/2008 - customer is reached target of Rs 900000 out of his monthly target of Rs 1000000, system will allowed for only reaming 100000 worth of sale only. Once customers achieve his 100% target, system will gives the message of 100% target and will blocks the sales order.
    How to map this requirement into the sap, where we need to give
    Monthly targets and how the sales order will read the data.

    The condition update should be the ideal one. Activate the condition update for your condition type. Now when you create the condition record set the validity for one month and there is a maximum condition value, set the maximum condition as same as target. Once they exceeds the maximum condition value then the condition record will be deactivated. You will have to choose the appropriate condition table to get this done.

    Requirement:  Sales target

    In below example represents the sales target of A.V international customer.

    Material Group: Each bra related material will come under bra material group.

    The scenation....their is an agent whom i have to pay a percentage of  amt...if  he reaches the target.
    That is .....For  a customer i would create sales order...If the sales order value reaches certain...amt the system should generate say for example 10% of the order value.

  • Create Purchase Order based on Sales Order through DI

    Hi All,
    As per my requirment i need to create PO based on Sales Order by Using DI object.
    By using the UI i am able to create a PO. i.e,.  in the Sales Order Form , in logistic tab when the purchase check box is checked and when the SO is added there is a work around form poped up where we give the vendor information and create PO.

    try removing the double quotes for basetype, baseline, baseentry.
    if it doesn't solve the problem
    make sure that you are assigning the docentry only but not the docnum of the sales order to the purchase order lines' baseentry.

    Here is an interesting sales scenario for you:
    Company gives "high demand product" to their dealers based on their target vs achievement.
    Condition:
    1.A dealer achieves target of 20 cell phones of x-brand in a month, he gets 2 nos of high demand product Z-brand cell phone(not free of charge).
    Eg: 1) ABC dealer has target for 20 nos in a month, and achieved 50% by 20th of that month. Then he is eligible for 1 Z-brand cell phone.
    2) MMM dealer has target for 20 nos in a month, and achieved 100% by month end , he gets 2 nos of z-brand cell phones

    Hi Fab,
    We can connect many production allocatio group to same planning area, but better remove flag direct connection to planning area. During maintenance of PAL procedure and in control conversion conversion factor should be 1 only. 
    In place of removal of above flag we carryout two activity i.e copy data from planning area and copy data to planning area.
    hope process will work fine.

  • Restriction for items from Purchase Order based on Sale Order

    Hi !
           We create PO directly from Sale Order ( by ticking Option under Logistic tab, 'Purchase Order') for customer C01 (for eg).
    From the PO created, we post GRPO.
    Now our need is,
    Assume if 10 Qty is been ordered in such a way and been received (GRPO posted). it 'll add on to the stock account i.e will increase stock qty at our whse.
    is it possible to restrict these 10 qty of item from being sold to any other Customer other than whom hav ordered i.e if we create sale order for C02 the SBO should not take the items received from PO created based on Sales Order created for C01?

    Which version of SBO are you using 2005 or 2007?
    I don't think Serial numbers can help in this scenario.  There is no hard allocation or blocking possible using Serial numbers.
    This is the Work around I am thinking about.
    Set the items to be Batch Managed - On Every Transaction
    When performing Goods Receipt, enter the Sales Order Number as the Batch Number
    When creating the delivery, using SBO_SP_TransactionNotification we can easily check the Batch of the Item being selected and verify it with the BaseRef of Delivery lines to match with Sales Order number.
    If the numbers don't match we can warn user with message, "The items batch reserved for Sales Order xyz"
    Even if you make a mistake when entering the batch number same as Sales Order number when doing a goods receipt. It can still be traced and blocked during delivery.
    Hint: The Batch table records the Goods Receipt transaction along with the BaseDocument number, Base Ref, etc

          If you are using sales and operation planning in make to stock scenario its simple . As You input target sale plan and target production plan for whole one year (MC84) . So this data can be pulled out from the tables .
    For Action Need to be taken and revision you may need to have new table .

    A requirement has come up where I want to get Customer closing balance based on its sales organization as this particular customer is extented to 2 different sales organizations. I want to get the closing balance of individual sales organization vise.

    AFAIK there is no such BAPI, cause there is no database table with balance for customer per sales organisation. (No KNCx table for VKORG)
    First ask functionals (*) how to recover sales organisation from a FI document (I suppose for SD invoice it is easy if no merging between organisation) will be a little tricker for pure FI document like payment transactions (hope thet are quickly cleared...)  Then start from non cleared records of BSID (also BSAD if you use a past date of reference, in case you have to add the records of BSAD with clearing date greater than reference date) and cross it with SD information to break FI into sales organisation.

    We have one process,
    Where we are creating sales order and based on sales order, we are doing migo and miro. final entry will be consumption a/c dr to vendor then we are doing billing for the same.
    We got error in migo based on sales order stated that 'please enter co account assignment object.
    where i will cpature this cost on sales order or cost center.
    I think must be part of sales order becoz we are doing consumption based on sales order and revenue and csot must be flow to copa in billing. M i correct?
    If cost object is sales order or PSG in migo? what setting need to be done for the same.
    What will be the ideal process for the same.

    I have used AAC -X with item category 's' for third party that was suggested by sap
    and the gl i have defined in okb9 with PSG tick.So consumption account linked to my PSG. becoz i m doing migo/miro based on sales order and final entry will be consumption a/c to vendor in my case.
    System will determine PSG in migo and then billing will happened for the same.So my cost and revenue will flow to COPA.
    We have one programme SDVPRSUPDATE that need to execute every monthend.In order to flow cost to COPA for some cases where Billing happened but no GR happened for the same.then this prograame will flow VPRS cost to COPA.

    VBEP-VBELN = sales order number.
    VBEP-EDATU = schedule line date.
