Communicate from AS 2 to AS 3

Hi.
I have a loader in AS 3 that loads banners. The banners that loads now are AS 3 as well and they call a function inside the loader to switch to the next banner.
The problem is that almost all those who produce bannners are making them in AS 2. And i don't know how or even if it's possible to call the function from the loader (AS 3) from within the banners (AS 2)?
Thanks a lot. It's very critical for me. I might need to redo the whole loader in AS 2.

you can use the localconnection class to communicate between an as2 swf and as3 swf, as long as, the as2 swf is loaded into an as3 swf.

I get EDVR error when I communicate (from Labview )through Keithley's KPCI488 GPIB card to a HP34401A DMM?

I have installed the card correctly and used the trtest.exe program supplied alongwith the card to communicate with the DMM using *IDN?,READ?. Successful!! But I am unable to communicate from Labview 6i using labview<->gpib.vi. What to be done to get things right?

This question was recently asked so I know that Keithley is supposed to support LabVIEW and that you have to explicitly add the support when you install the Keithley driver. If you've done this, you might want to contact Keithley for additional help. You could also try using VISA instead of the older traditional GPIB functions. That's assuming you've installed the Keithley VISA driver. I've never used the Keithley GPIB card but I've used VISA and LabVIEW with cards from other vendors.

Create a MSO when state one is the frame none and the frame two is the image with thumbnails.
Make a buttom with the action go to next state.

I have developed swing applet. Through this applet I need to start the Oracle Forms on web and access it as well. Is there a way to to this. In this case, Oracle Form is using Global Variables, and the requirement is to set these from my swing applet.

Still little confused. I am J2EE guys and hardly have any understanding on Oracle Forms. I am explaining the requirement in detail so as to you can get an insight into my issue.
We have a developed a swing Applet, which would be access on web. We have received Oracle Forms from the client, and this has been installed on Oracle10gAS. Our application is installed on the same server. Once user starts interactions with the applet, it will be session based. Also the applet is running at the client end and the form would open at the client end as well. So how is this singleton going to benefit it.
If the singleton in placed at the server end, how would be maintain the session?
Can the solution you are mentioning, used in some way to implement SSO, although the login will be done through the applet?
I am sorry to be a trouble, but if can possibly provide some code snippet, it would be of immense help.

Unable to communicate from adapter engine to Integration engine

I have a scenario as shown below.
Target PI->File sender CC->Soap Receiver CC->SOAP Sender CC->Source PI
The file is getting picked up using file sender CC but probably due to communication failure between file adapter and IE, the message is not showing up in SXMB_MONI.
What could be wrong here.

when i run java class adapter in oim 11gR1, which contain ejb class from other weblogic(8.1.4), i facing problem that request which i run cannot finish or process is looping forever.
my code :

I Sight cannot communicate from Imac OS X 10.3.9 to Imac OS 10.4.6

We were in contact by Isight. She broke her camera. She replaced he camera with a new one. After this we have been unable to connect again.
We installed Sightspeed and have been able to communicate using this program.
Any ideas why can we not use Isight?

Go to /Users/(your account)/Library/Preferences
Delete com.apple.ichat.plist as this hold the camera info.
I take it the camera is seen in iMovie ?

How to communicate from java to excel?

I need to pass data from java to excel such that it'll create a report.
It should be able to handle images also. ie.
I have a form which contains some data.
I need to read the data from the form and export the data - in the same format in the form - to MSexcel. I should be able to put the data in specific cells of MSexcel.
Please help.

It depends upon the type of Objects .if these Clients on the same sever then u may diff.options.
for example
1.in case of scrips we will use Tcode SCC1 to get the objects from one client - another client.
2.Create transport Request ,download and put it in another sever.

JNDI not found when trying to communicate from websphere to weblogic server

we have a J2EE application in which the client is a standalone program or may reside in any of the application server. But our EJB component is deployed in the weblogic server.
Earlier the client program which contacts the EJB is a standalone program and it uses the weblogic initial context factory and t3 protocol and we will have the weblogic.jar in the classpath.
but there is a new requirement as our new client is in websphere and it has to contact the weblogic server through IIOP protocol and websphere initial context factory. Please let me know what i need to do?
Since iam new to websphere and i am having no clue to establish the communication. I tried to use both IIOP protocol and wesphere initial context factory.but still i get exception as the JNDI name not found.
Guidance is appreciated.

To be in same page, iam running the client program using the IBM jre and using all the websphere client jars set in classpath. This program conatins intial context factory as "com.ibm.websphere.naming.WsnInitialContextFactory" and provider url as "iiop://hostname:portnumber" it contacts the EJB bean method which is hosted on the weblogic server on the "hostname" machine. When it tries to contact i get the errror as
"javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Context: , name: java.iecc.env.ejb.elf.client_new(My JNDI name): First component in name java.iecc.env.ejb.elf.client_new not found. [Root exception is org.omg.CosNaming.NamingContextPackage.NotFound: IDL:omg.org/CosNaming/NamingContext/NotFound:1.0]"

Communicating to FieldPoint from HP-UX

Has anyone out there been able to communicate from HP-UX to FieldPoint modules? I have seen the technique of putting a program on the FP-2000 module that will talk TCP/IP. Is there any other solution?

At the present time, the only way to communicate from an HP-UX machine directly to a FieldPoint Ethernet module would be to use a FP-20XX series module and use either the TCP VI's or the UDP VI's. For the FieldPoint Serial Network modules you may communicate using the Optomux command set as documented in the FP-1000/1001 Programmers Reference Manual. If you are using LabVIEW on HP-UX, you should be able to use the LabVIEW FieldPoint Optomux VI's downloadable from:
