Compare pricing procedures in 2 different systems ??

Hi All,
I know with T-Code SE39, we can compare ABAP program in 2 different systems, Likewise is there any Transaction Code where I can compare pricing procedures in 2 different system. or compare 2 different pricing procedures in same box.
Thank you,
madhu

Dear Madhu
May be you can try with this.
Go to V/08, select your pricing procedure and execute.  From top menu bar, click on Table View --> Save.   Again from top menu bar click on Table View --> Print  so that you can see the overview of that pricing procedure.
Now parallely you can open another screen, select another pricing procedure and do the same process as above.
thanks

  • Replacing  of the pricing procedure by a different pricing procedure .

    Hi
We are process of changing the pricing procedure of the particular sales  process.
In case of old open sales order after changing pricing procedure if i update it in VA02 mode then also ...it is not picking the current sales order ...
Again in case of sales order where deivery has been done ...for them while creating billing ...it is taking current pricing procedure so that there is a mismatch of sales order amount and billing amount .
Again while creating return order w r t old sales order ...it is taking current pricing procedure in return order instead of taking the original one ....
Pls advice how to rectify this problem .
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards
    Mrinal

    Dear Lakshmipati,
I told I am  in process of changing pricing procedure .
Currently normal pricing procedure is configured in the system. Now business wants to change it in list price pricing procedure ( i.e base price with tax pricing procedure ) . And new pricing procedure has some extra automatic discount value also .
    My question was
    1) There is no change in open sales order ....IT is OK
    2) But for sales order where already delivery has been done then after changing pricing procedure it is taking new pricing procedure so that ..sales value and billing amounts are getting different . How to restrict this .?
3)For return order also ...it is taking new pricing procedure ... How to restrict the same ?

  • Different pricing procedures for two different items in a sales order.

    Hi ,
In a sales order I have two items , one is TAN item and other item is TAD (services).. Since the tax structure is different for above mentioned items, user wants to apply two different pricing procecdures for two items in a sales order.
Can any one suggest how to get this functionality.
    Thanks,
    Ashok S

    Dear Ashok,
As Rithivika rightly mentioned that in one sales oder you can't get two pricing procedures.
Because pricing procedure determination will takes place based on these combination
Sales areaDocument pricing procedureCustomer pricing procedure-->Pricing procedure.
So If you want different pricing procedure either one of the combination should be different.
    But you try this
You can maintain service related tax condition types also in the same procedure, but when you maintain condition record you can maintain material wise.
So when you create sales order system will pick the pricing based on the material(standard item or service item).
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Unable to compare the same program in different systems

    Hi,
We have a Development & QA system (apart from Production). Now for a program that is in both, Dev & QA, I wanted to compare them using SE37. I clicked on "Compare Different Systems"  button. Now I selected the program from Dev for Left-Justified & from QA for Right. When I hit the "Display" button, it gave me the following error message:
Error remote access: Error during the retrieval of the logon data store.
Can anyone help me with this?
    Thank you.

    Hi Jack,
I went to SM59 & double clicked on my RFC (that I thought would work). It took me to the RFC destination config. screen & it showed me the following message:
User password invalid for identifier /RFC/---- (see long text)
( the dotted lines denote the RFC name )
It's not shown with a red cross mark. It's shown with a Green tick mark. So how do I correct this now & be able to compare the proram? Please let me know.
    Thank you.

  • Compare two queries of two different system.

    Hello all,
I need to certify the some queries, the process we follow is as below.
    1. The query will be created in Production system, we will transport back to Development server.
    2. Compare the query (Characterstics, Key Figures and Definition), In other words I need to compare and validate each and every aspect of Query with the Development and Production.
    3. I need to change the query if I find anything difference in Prod and Dev system.
    4. Transport to the Production.
Here my problem is I'm comparing manually by opening RRMX in each of the system and each variable, its time consuming as it is a manual process there is a chance of missing some important. So I would like to know is there any way to compare the queries Prod and Dev server in easier way than manually.
I hope requirement is clear to you or else just let me know your concerns and thoughts on this.
    Thanks in advance,
    Umashankar

    Umashankar,
I dont think there is an easy way to do this as you are asking for - however you can do a basic level comparison as to number of query ellements , variables that are there etc - this can be done using the table rszcompdir which has all the query elements of the query but then a direct one to onw comparison may not be possible since the query elements are identified by GUIDs which usually will be different across systems.

  • Compare two Request/Task from different systems

    Hi all,
Before I post my question, here is a small introduction to the scenario.
We have 300 transports among this transports we have Function Modules, Reports and Classes. We are planning to migrate these transports to a new environment and we would like to compare these objects from E1 (Environment 1) with E2 (Environment 2 - New Environment) in a dynamic way (instead of doing it manually).
So the question is: Does anyone  knows if there is program to do this comparison?
    Thanks in advance,
    -C

    Hi Tina,
You can use a trnasactions like SCMP, SADJ or SCU0 - all tools to do comparison of customizing objects across clients/systems using RFC.
Details of these tools, their usage and functionalities are available in the Help Portal -

  • Compare a role in two different systems

    Hi All,
Is there way to comapare a role in 2 differnet systems as we have dual landscape for ECC.
    Thanks,
    Lisa

@ Partha - I don't think you have got time to read the thread carefully
@ Nishant - Your concern is right if both the system using same naming convention. In that case OP would get a warning before uploading the file. However one can change the role name in text file by replace method. Just to keep in mind to keep same char length for role name. And also to be carefull if any other data may get replaced apart from role name :-d

  • Maintain "Determination of Pricing Procedure" with different sales orgs. ID

    Hi experts,
We have different sales orgs. ID for some of our sales orgs. in our Development/Quality/Production systems. When we maintained the "Determination of Pricing Procedure" in Development system for our new company and transported it to Quality system an error occurred. The sales org. ID we maintained in D wasn't available in Q. So we still have the same problem in Q as we had before. I have noticed that we have different ID for another company in our CRM system but it seems that someone has maintained "Determination of Pricing Procedure" manually for each system without any transport even if I don't think that's possible, but it look so. See pictures below:
    Development system:
    Quality system:
O 50000125 in D is the same as O 50000075 in Q. This is working fine, but I don't know how you change it manually in Q as it seems to have been done in above picture!?
O 50000178 in D is our new company. After transport to Q the same ID with the same values are transported correct. But the ID for the company in Q is O 50000150. So of course we still have the same problem in Q that we had before the transport.
Does anyone know how to solve this? I guess you can't just change things manually in Q or is the correct way to do?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards,
    Hannes de Richelieu

    Hello Hannes,
this really is a common issue. Org-Model can be maintained in every client and as the IDs are generated they can differ even if only the sequence in which you created the units is not the same in D/Q/P.
What you might be interested in is report RHMOVE30. It is used to "transport" the Org-Model between Clients. Have a look here: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3537400
This way you maintain the model once and distribute it across systems. My advise would be to take the one you have in P and refresh D and Q from it. You are still able to make adjustments in D and Q for testing. After a certain timeframe I would then refresh D and Q again to get them in sync.
    cheers Carsten

  • Different Tax base in pricing procedure for a single sales order for different line item material.

    Hi,
I have a scenario wherein in a sales order, for two different material, the tax base of pricing should get triggered on the basis of sold to party and the material entered at line item level.
Logic triggers on the basis of Region of Customer & a unique field in the Material Master but problem comes in the calculation of Tax base as the sequence of condition type (from – to)  is already defined in the pricing procedure to pick from a particular step but in second line item the base is different i.e. the sequence of condition types that are maintained in pricing procedure should be different for Tax to calculate differently.
Kindly suggest if the same can be handled in a single pricing procedure and dynamically taking care of condition type sequence through Alt Cal Base Formula, so far I’ve tried both Alt Cal Formula & Base but it is not working
Client doesn’t want to go ahead by creating two different orders (through separate Pricing Procedure) for that. They want to have both materials in same order.
Kindly suggest a suitable way to handle this scenario.
    Regards,
    Aashika Agarwal

    Hi,
Click on the ''check availability'' button at item overview and then click on ''One-time delivery'' on the top. This will ensure that you will have only one delivery for whatever quantity is confirmed on that date.
If you want to apply this rule for all orders across a sales area, then you can do the below configuration step :
SPRO->sales and distribution->basic functions->availability check with ATP logic->Define default settings-> Here in avail. checking rule select A (one time delivery). This will ensure that all orders created for a particular sales area will have only one delivery.
    Hope this helps.

  • J1ID and Pricing Procedure

    Hi,
We use TAXINJ procedure for our company for which Excise Rates are maintained in J1ID.
Also we maintain Pricing Procedure in which different tax condition types are used.(Eg: UTXJ,JMOD etc.)
    IMG Notes mentions that
When you create a sales document, the system determines the excise duties and sales taxes using the pricing procedure (not the tax procedure).
If it is the case please clarify me whether the system takes the data from J1ID or Pricing Procedure to calculate taxes. If it takes from J1ID then what is the use of maintaining Pricing Procedure and vice versa.
    Please share your valuable inputs.
    Regards,
    Phani Prasad

    Hi
In J1ID, Material, plant chapterid combination is maintained and for each chapterid the applicable rate is maintained for calculating Excise Duty. Also the status of the customer with regard to Excise is also maintained in J1ID under Excise indicator for Customer. Based on these combinations, applicable excise duty/rate on the transaction can be derived. Pricing procedure will guide in the calculation where the applicable rate is maintained at the condition record level. It will also help in calculating the applicable sales tax on the transaction after the calculation of Excise duty.
    Hope it clarifies.

  • Free goods pricing procedure

    Hi,
I need to  configure the free gods functionality and I look for clarification from those who have configured it . My questions are.
    1) how does the system determines while creating sales order that free goods are involved.
    2) for main item,  if the item category is TAN, then for exclusive free goods the item category will be TANN ? Is the following combination ok for free goods item category detemination ?
OR + NORM+TAN(higher level) +FREE(usage)=TANN......where TAN is the item cateogry of main item
    3) How is the free goods pricing procedure works. ?? I mean do we have to define  the basic price condition PR00 in the free goods pricing procedure so that the system applies the basic price to the main item  ? for example if the main billable qty is 10, and per unit price is 100, then the basic price will be 10*100=1000 for the main billable items in the free goods pricing procedure.
now if free goods are 2 (exclusive), then the system shows in the pricing line item a basic price of 2100=200 and then a condition R100 is shown as a negative amount of 2100= -200 so that net value is zero ??
    4) I think when the material is entered, then the system reads the free goods master record and then determines the main item category for billable item and then free item category is determined and then pricing is carried out
pls validate my above points ?
    regds

    Hi
Yes, there will be only one pricing procedure for free goods and normal goods.
Free goods procedure is to determine the free goods condition records (maintained through VBN1) and now way related to pricing.
Pricing procedure is to determine the price for each line item based on the conditon records (maintained through VK11).
As an example- there is free goods conditon record for a material as 10 + 2 exclusive and hence for an order quantity of 10 you can see a second line item for a quantity of 2 as a sub item with item category as TANN.
The pricing happens the same way for both the line items and you can check that in the conditions tab of each line item.
While carrying out the pricing, system goes to the first conditon type in the pricing procedure and if it satisfies the requirement then accesses the conditon records and picks if there is any valid conditon record. Like wise, it checks all the condition types in the pricing procedure. In this process it also checks the conditon type R100 and the requirement will not be satisfied for the first line item and hence will not determine any value. In the case of the sub item with TANN item category, the condition records will be determined as happened for the first line item and also the R100 will be determined. Because, the reqirement for R100 says, the pricing details(in VOV7) for the corresponding item category(which is TANN) should be B-Pricing for free goods(100% discount). TANN satisfies this conditon and it determines the total amount here, making the net value as zero. If there are any values below the R100 condition type in the pricing procedure, then the net value will not be zero. Hence positioning of the R100 condition type has importance in designing the pricing procedure. If you change the value for TANN in VOV7 from B to X, then R100 will not be determined even though the free goods are determined in the sales order as sub items. The pricing happens the same way to both main item and sub item (free goods).

  • Problem of  DIFF (Rounding Off) Condition Type in Sales Pricing Procedure

    Hi All,
This problem is related to Sales Order. The system is not picking up a condition type in the pricing procedure.
For example when I am raising a sales Order where the Trade Price is being calculated with the help of a Alternative Calculation Type , Subtotal 1 , X in the the Print column and Posting Key ERL are assigned to it.Here in the end the condition type DIFF is not getting populated in the pricing though it is maintained in the pricing procedure. When I am checking in the pricing analysis the error message and its detailed description which is shown as follows -
DIFF     011     Condition ignored (requirement 013 not fulfilled)
The requirement 1. was assigned to this condition in the pricing procedure. This requirement was not met in the preliminary condition step, and so the condition was excluded from further processing.
You can use Additional information to display the requirements used.
Now considering the above scenario please suggest to attain my requirement.
    Thanks & Regards
    Priyanka

    Dear Priyanka,
The "reqt" field in the pricing procedure basically tells d system that the routine mentioned in this field is a sort of prerequisite without fullfilling of which the associated condition type will not get xecuted.
In ur case u have selected "1" which is for condition types A001, B001 etc used in "material listing / xclusion" function.
For condition type DIFF, the correct value is "13" i.e "Rounding as per T001R".
So just replace "1" with "13", things will b fine.
Please close the thread if answered.
    regards

  • Pricing Procedure and automatic triggering of condition records

    Dear Gurus,
I am a junior SAP SD consultant.
At the moment I am customizing SAP to generate sales documents and am using a standard pricing procedure called: RVAA01
At T-Code: V/08 when you access the reference steps of that pricing procedure you see a lot of steps ranging from
    step 8 to 971
At sales order level VA01,  once you have entered a PR00 condition record in VK11, and you click to view the pricing procedure:
    - Why does the system only selected those basic conditions and not more?
    PR00
    AZWR
    MWST
    SKTO
    VPRS
    - How does the automatic selection process occur in the pricing procedure to have hundreds of steps ready to use to finally come down to those 5 steps at sales order level?
    Your help is greatly needed
    Regards
    Chris

Whatever condition types you see in pricing procedure the same will be in V/06 where you can also see three fields
    a)  Access Sequence
    b)  Header condition and
    c)  Item condition
All your condition types that flows into your sale order will depend on these settings.
Normally, all item condition types will have access sequence assigned on top right for which, you will have to have relevant tables assigned in V/07.
Whatever tables you maintain in V/07, based on this combination, you would be maintaining pricing in VK11 for that condition type.
Based on the above settings, when you create a sale order, system will search for the required combination and fetch the pricing.  This is for item level condition type.
For header condition type, you will not be having access sequence assigned in V/06.  You can key in manually in sale order at header level condition tab so that the corresponding value will be bifurcated equally to all line items.
    thanks

  • Document pricing procedure in Billing

    Dear All,
Can anybody tell me, what is the use of having a document price procedure in billing doc type ?
    Rgds,
    Indrajit

    hi,
During pricing, the system determines the pricing procedure by taking into account
    The sales area
The pricing procedure key in the header of the sales document type
The pricing procedure key in the customer master record
The pricing procedure determines how the system carries out pricing for a particular sales document
In sales document types - you will assign same doc pricing procedure
spro -> SD --> basic function --> pricing -->pricing control -->  define and assign pricing procedure --> define pricing procedure determination
    here you assign
    s.org / D.chl / dv / Doc Pricing proc /cust pricing procedure / pricing procedure
    thanks.
