Component information in WCC DB

Hi,
When a component is created in component wizard in which table of wcc database the component information is stored?
Thanks,
Lionel.

Hi Lionel,
Component information is not stored in the database, but rather in a file (in a clustered environment this should be on the shared storage).
in 10g: $UCM_HOME/data/components/edit_components.hda
in 11g: $UCM_HOME/data/components/idccs_components.hda
Hope that helps,
Fabian

  • Listing system component information

I'd like to be able to get (and then display) the system component information in my .NET program using the .NET connector.
(The information contained within System->Status...->Component Information)
Any idea on how to get this info?
(More generally, I find that I often run into the problem of "how do I do xyz"-- and I wonder if there is an RFC to do this somewhere-- and then I spend forever looking for one, sometimes finding what I'm looking for and sometimes not.   Is there a "recommended" way of "finding stuff"?)

    Hello Tom,
the fm is also available in our 4.6C system. Could you provide some more informations regarding your release.
Think that the rfc is part of the solution manager installation (as the development class is named "Solution manager").
I didn't find another rfc delivering the data. There are only some function modules (w/o rfc flag). Perhaps you can have a look at these fm's (starting with OCS* or SPAM*, e.g. SPAM_READ_PAT03). If one of these delivers the required data, you can modify the fm by setting the rfc flag, or copy it.
Nevertheless, it should be no problem to develop an own rfc, providing the information from database tables UVERS and PAT03.
    Best regards

  • How to clear/delete component information(History) from Indd??

How to clear/delete component information(History) from Indd??

I think Jong was telling you that your question was very not clear.
    (And I agree with him!)
I'm assuming you are talking about the document history available by
command/control clicking on "About InDesign" and/or plugin history.
The only way to clear out that data is by exporting as inx/idml...

  • Accessing Component Information for systems connected to Solution Manager

We currently aggregate system component information for our ABAP systems through the following manual (and tedious) process:
    Log into each ABAP system
    Menu:  System -> Status
Click Component Information button (magnifying glass icon)
Retrieve the information:  Component, Release, Level, Support Package Name, Description.
Recently, we were drilling through Solution Manager Root Cause analysis -> Change reporting and noticed that this information is available for each system.  In the ABAP-Software data store.  This led us to consider if this information is contained within the Solution Manager BW cubes.
However when we looked at the SMD Change Analysis (thinking this would map to what we saw in the Change Analysis reporting), we didn't see this information.
So, the question is, does anyone have any thoughts were the Component information for systems is stored in Solution Manager?  Ideally, we would like to tap into this source for our own custom report as opposed to retrieving it manually from each system as I described.
    Thanks,
    Jeff Henke

    Hi Jeff,
the information about software components (and this is I think what you are looking for) is stored in the LMDB of Solution Manager. Each satellite system sends its component info into SLD (either in an external system or in Solution Manger itself). From there it is redirected to LMDB.
Try transaction LMDB in Solution Manager. There you have (depending on your SP-Stack) access to several reports to evaluate your landscape.

  • Portal component information reporting incorrect version

    Dear all,
Has anyone experienced that the portal content information (http://hostname:port/monitoring/ComponentInfo)is reporting incorrect information? We have installed XSS 603 components and the summary part does not reflect that , but the details does.
Its also not reporting SAPPCUI_GP in the software component part. Has anyone seen this and whats the fix?
    Thanks!
    Neeta

    HI Shanti,
I followed the intructions in note # 910073 and all worked fine. However, the version information is still not reported correctly. component information is reporting ESS600 and we have ESS603 installed & no PCUI component is reported but the details show that its deployed.?
Does the portal need to be restarted after the change in note 910073?

  • Gather the "System status component information" via database table

    Hello!
Which SAP/maxdb-table contains the "System status component information" data ?
(i.e all components installed in the Abap-part).
What does a sql statement (via dbmcli) look like to extract this information from that table?
Version of the ABAP AS is NW2004s, maxdb is on 7.6.01.12

I think you mean table CVERS.
    dbmcli -d xxx -u xxx,xxx sql_execute select * from cvers
    Something like that.

  • RFM to get System:Component information?

In SAP GUI, under 'System | Status | Components', you see information on the components installed in your system, including Software Component, Release, Level, Highest Support Package, and a Description.
What RFM (RFC) can I call to get that information?
    Thanks.

  • Support Pack Status not updated in System Component Information

    Hi Experts,
We have installed ECC 6.0 with Ehp3 and AFS 603 on AIX 6.1 and db6 V 9.1. We recently added the Vistex Incentive and Payback Module and Vistex Global Functions Add Ons. After the base install the Support pack 1-4  were applied for both Vistex components. For IRMGLB the status screen (System/Status) shows the SP highest Level = 03, while in SPAM screen it shows that Support Pack for for the Component IRMGLB is imported successfully.Because of this we can not apply the remaining Support Packs. For the other component (IRMIPM) Support Pack level 04 is correctly displayed.
Any idea what are we missing?  Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Suhail

For future referers, Vistex says its a known issue.
    Hello,
It is a known issue but it would not impact any of the functionality.
It can only be fixed in the subsequent release with conjunction with
    SAP.

  • Deployed component not listed in SDM

I have some non-SAP components that I want to unisntall from my QAS portal.  They are listed in /ComponentInfo but I do not see them listed in SDM in either the Deployed tab or  the UnDeploy tab.  Can I undeploy them using SDM command line?

    Dear MJ ,
    Hope you are doing good.
During detection of components, JSPM and SDM use the same source of data, that are two repositories with J2EE component information:
    SDM repository in  /usr/sap/<SID>/<CI>/j2ee/SDM/root
    and
CVERS - BC_COMPVERS table in system database
You mentioned that some components are not visible in SDM; if so, please enable repository
    synchronization from /usr/sap/<SID>/<CI>/j2ee/SDM/program:
    ./StopServer.sh
    ./sdm.sh jstartup mode=standalone
    ./sdm.sh systemcomponentstate mode=activate
    ./sdm.sh jstartup mode=integrated
    ./StartServer.sh
See SAP note 828978 as well.
You can undeploy using SDM command line interface:  ( ./sdm.sh undeploy compname=<SCA> compvendor=sap.com

  • SAP Component - ERP Function Module

    Hi,
i'm looking for information, how to figure out which ERP module (FI, MM, CO, SD) is build in which SAP component package (SAP_BASIS, SAP_ABA, SAP_APPL, SAP_AP).
I'm not talking about the enhancement packages, IS solutions or other SAP systems (BI, EP, XI, ....) but just the old and classical ERP modules.
    Thanks for any help.
    Regards,
    Wilhelm

Logistics and Accounting is built on SAP_APPL, Human Resources on SAP_HR.
From SAP menu navigate, System> Status> click on component information icon below the component version. This will give you the component and its description.

  • How do I replace a component in several BOMs at once?

I need to replace an item that appears in several BOMs. Rather than go into each BOM separately and remove the old component and then go back in and add the replacement component, is there a way to find and replace several (all) at once?

You have fist to create a Change type :
Bill of materials > Setup > Change types
Open the BOM Mass update form, enter the Change type , enter the selection criteria for the Assemblies.
In the Changes window, select the Change type 'Update'. On the first line (Update), enter the Component to change. On the second line (New), enter the new component. If necessary, enter component information.
On the main screen, select Report and submit : will display all the changes that will be performed.
Select Implement and submit : will apply the changes.

    Hello,
RTCCTOOL is making recommendations to maintain your system for service delivery, and these are not errors.
The red traffic light is not an error, it means the Note has not been downloaded, the yellow light means it has been downloaded but not applied, and green means it has been downloaded and applied.
Your component list is not complete as it is not listing the SP levels for all components.
Also keep in mind, if you did not use SNOTE to apply the Notes, but transported them, then RTCCTOOL will not know this, so if they have been transported, you would need to se tthe status manually in RTCCTOOL.
But you are showing as an exapmple ST-PI SAPKITLRD2 in your component list and RTCCTOOL is recomending ST-PI SAPKITLRD3. This is the curent version that is being recommended.
Do you really need to upgrade? I would recommend you do as patches contaim fixes, and you may or may not encounter the errors they fixed. However if you do encounter errors, you will need to upgrade, and support will recommend this be done.
    Hope this helps!
    Regards,
    Paul

  • NWDI in the XI Scenario - SLD

    Experts,
I have created a track to transport the XI content.
We have two SLD servers in the landscape. The first is used by XI and contains all the required XI business systems and the second is used only by NWDI and contains only the SC definitions.
    My question-
DOes the SLD for NWDI need XI system details???? According to my understanding, NWDI needs only the component information from the SLD.
Bascially, do i need to import the business system data into the SLD that is being used by NWDI???
    thanks,
    Vineeth

Did a little research and found that the SC information is sufficient for NWDI.
