Condition master record!

Hie Guys,
When creating condition master record for discounts I'm getting  a Pricing error:mandatory condition PR00 is missing!
How can I over come such a problem?
ralph.

If the pricing condition PR00 is mandatory it needs to have a value.  Click Goto \ Item \ Conditions to view the pricing on your sales order.  Then click the Analysis button.  On the left side, at the top it should have PR00.  Click the + next to it to view the access sequences.  Notice how none of these has a condition record?  Now go to VK11 and enter condition PR00.  Choose whichever access makes sense for you.  Here are the defaults:
"Empties" Prices (Material-Depe
Customer/Material
Price List Type/Currency/Materi
Material
Material Pricing Group
The Material key combination should work nicely.  Enter a Sales Org and Distribution Channel (should match whatever is on the order), enter a material, and then enter a Rate.  Save.  Now go back into your sales order and re-price it or create a new session and enter a new order.  It should pick up a value for PR00 and on you go.

  • Need to know the details on the change logs on the invoice output condition master records

    All,
Recently, there seems to be a change made in VV32 transaction for Billingoutput types with regard to printer device names,
I am unable to track down these changes. NACH provides information about created by & created on information, but i am not able to track the changes that were made against output condition records, is there any ways of identifying such changes using easier methods or even through CDHDR/ CDPOS tables.
I tried executing CDPOS, but unable to proceed as i was not sure / do not know the ways of entries that i need to provide in CDHDR / CDPOS tables for my scenario.
Can some one please help. Thanks in Advance.
    Regards
    Ilango

    Hi Ilango,
if you don't activated the change logs, you just can find the chances made by identify the last two transports. So you need to go the way you started. Unfortunaly it could be, that you can't find the old settings anyway because there might be a * in...
I know an easier way to find the old values.
You can talk to your basis-guys if they got an older backup available and can backup it in an extra system. But that includes some extra work and the additional host.

  • Custom Report for Pricing Conditions Master

    Hi Everyone,
We know that Pricing Conditions Master Data is stored in KONH and KONP. If a condition is populated in a document then transactional data can be obtained from KONV with 'condition record number' as the foreign key.
The requirement is to design a custom report that lists for order items the pricing conditions (basic price) that are not populated in the sales orders. The pricing is not carried out in these orders as these are not chargeable orders, but the user wishes to know in an existing custom report the price from the conditon master data.
The idea is that the sales order has no pricing calculated but how much Sales Price the material has as per the price condition master record. This can be known by the custom report.
Visiting the standard prcing preports like V/LD is laborious for the user and wishes to add a column in an exisitng report of order item list for the price of each order item.
The challenge here is that in KONH there is no field for material exlusively. It gets stored as a text and hence fetching data from this table for a given material seems difficult. Let us remember that we are not refering to any sales order while accessing data from KONH or KONP.
Any thoughts / views on how this can be achieved are most welcome.
    Thanks,
    Hemant

You will have to work on exact condition table in access sequence instead of KONH. For eg: If condition table in access sequence is 601 then you will have fetch the condition number KNUMH from table A601 (prefix A before the condition table number). With the KNUMH you can get the condition value from KONP.

  • Output Determination from the Customer Master Record

    Dear All,
Can anybody please help me out with the configuration level settings for output proposal from the customer master record.
    Thanks
    Deepak Joshi

    Hi there,
Can you pls let me know from where did you get the information that O/p can be triggered from customer master records? & in what scenarios you can trigger them?
My experience in SAP tells me that O/p can only be truggered through condition techique where you will assign the determination procedure to the sales doc type.
No where I have seen assigning the O/p determination procedure to something related to customer / customer types.
For the O/p to trigger you need to maintain condition master records. I hope you are not getting confused between condition records & customer master records.

  • Error in Asset Master record creation

I have created one asset class 1001 for land and 3001 for Vehicles by myself (i.e. without reference)
I have filled all account determination, screenlayout, etc.
When i create asset master record for LAND, i enter asset class 1001 (for land) & it accepts.
But when i create asset master record for Vehicle, i enter asset class 3001 (for vehicle). But it throws error.
    Error shown is:
Chart of depreciation IN00 that was determined is not entered for asset class 3001.
_How to rectify the problem ?_
Help with Tcode or menu path.
    Further to rectify,
I am trying to Specify Chart-of-Dep.-Dependent Screen Layout/Acct Assignment (Tcode: ANK1)
    But error shown is:
Chart-of-depreciation-dependent assignment to asset class not possible
    (Message no. AC012)

I am trying to Specify Chart-of-Dep.-Dependent Screen Layout/Acct Assignment (Tcode: ANK1)
    But error shown is:
Chart-of-depreciation-dependent assignment to asset class not possible
    (Message no. AC012)
    Solution given is:
In order to be able to assign chart-of-depreciation-dependent data to asset class 1001, the following conditions have to be met. You have to have already
    1. Defined at least two active charts of depreciation
    2. Assigned asset class 1001 to more than one chart of depreciation
However, at the moment this asset class is only assigned to chart of depreciation 1.
I m unable to understand the solution

  • FI-AA and the Automatic Creation of Equipment Master Records

Our client is currently on SAP R/3 4.7E and per SAP Notes 176056, 370884, 361520, releases above 4.6B should be able to automatically create an equipment resord master record from within FI-AA.  Configuration shows that undaer FI-AA Master Data the integration should be possible, but we have tested and cannot get it to work.  No equipment record is ever created.
Has anyone been successful in performing this function?
    What are we missing?
    Thank You.
    Ruthie

    Hi,
    Simple,
    1. Go to AOLK and check which tab layout is assigned to your asset class, to transaction group 'Others'.
    2. Go to AOLA select layout you found out at 1st step, then double click on 'Tab Page Titles'.
    3. Select tab page Allocations and click on position group on tab pages.
    4. Click on new entries and insert 'S0013', save.
after doing this you will be able to find 'equipment' box under allocation.
    and regarding asset synchronization..
Asset Accounting --> Master Data --> Automatic Creation of Equipment Master -> Specify Conditions for Synchronization of Master Data
In this step, under the box 'Edit Asset Master Record' mention,
Create Equipment                 2 Direct Synchronization after saving
Change Equipment               2 Direct Synchronization after saving
Make sure you do not have any other field 'required' in equipment creation and not assigned to asset field.
After doing this you should be able to get equipment created automatically..

  • EQUIPMENT ASSIGNMENT TO ASSET MASTER RECORD

    Hi All:
I am trying to assign the Equipment Number in the Asset Master Record but am not able to do so. Is it even possible, has anyone had any success with the configurations and can share them with me?
I know that I can create the Equipment Number automatically when creating the Asset Master but what I need to do is to assign an existing Equipment Number to an existing or new Asset Master & the asset number will be reflected on the Equipment Master.
    Thanks and Regards
    Hisham

What is the problem now?  Aren't you able to assign the Equipment number in the Asset master data?
    What is the error message?
Well, just try this and see whether it works for you or not.
IMG -> Asset Accounting ->  Master Data -> Automatic Creation of Equipment Master Records -> Specify Conditions for Synchronization of Master Data

  • Error to Define Tax Relevancy Of Master Records

    Hi ,
I created a condition type ( Y007)  with category as 'D' ( TAX) and  class as 'A'. and then i tried to  Define Tax Relevancy Of Master Records ( Customer taxes) but it gives the message "Condition type Y007 is not defined for taxes" . its fine when i use the class as 'D' or 'G' but the requirement is it should be 'A' as discount or surcharge.
Any one can help on this if  this is possible??
if not then the other situation is if i use class as 'D'  or 'G' then in the section"changes which can be made" the calculat. type disappears...is there any way to have it appear on the screen??
    thanks...

    Hi
For tax condition types, condition class should also be D.
Pls check the configuration for MWST condition type. If you have the need to create a new condition type, please copy MWST or some standard tax condition type and create a new one, instead of creating a new condition type itself. Also check for the access sequence. For tax condition types most of the times MWST access sequence will be the correct one.
So, the tax c.type should have D both in condition category and condition class.
You can have c.class as D (Not G) and then you can have the calculation type as A
    Rwd points if it helps.

  • Customer master record

well, i m new in sap..may i know what is customer hirarchy, how does it work...and how to configure it in the system?

    Hi,
    CUSTOMER HIERARCHY:
Customer hierarchies are available in Sales and Distribution, so that you can create flexible hierarchies to reflect the structure of customer organizations. If your customer base includes multi-level buying groups, cooperatives, or chains of retail outlets, for example, you can create hierarchies to reflect the structure of these groups. Use customer hierarchies during sales order processing and billing for determining pricing and running statistics.
A customer hierarchy consists of nodes.
    To create a customer hierarchy:
    1. Create master records for each node.
    2. Assign the nodes to each other.
    3. Assign the customer master records to the relevant nodes.
Hierarchy nodes are only valid for a certain period of time. They may also be moved. If a node is moved, the system automatically reassigns all related nodes and customer master records.
With customer hierarchies, you can assign price or rebate agreements to a higher level node. The agreements are then valid for customer’s at all subordinate levels to this node. You can create pricing condition records for each node indicated as relevant for pricing. If one or more nodes in the hierarchy path of a sales order contain pricing information, the system takes them into account automatically during pricing.
    'How to check'
All the customizing is in SD/Master Data/Business Partner/Customers/Customers hierarchy
All the customizing is in SD/Master Data/Business Partner/Customers/Customers hierarchy
    1) Define hierarchy type: just put and ID and a name to the new hierarchy.
    2) Set partner determination: if you want to user the hierarchy in price determination, then, in the orders, at the header level, you have to have a Partner Procedure with a partner function for each level. In the partner procedure, in each partner function you must indicate the source partner function. With this information, in the order, you obtain the business partner for each partner function.
    3) Assign account groups: you indicate which accounts groups are allowed for being part or your hierarchy.
    4) Assign sales areas: simple you indicate which sales areas are allowed in your hierarchy. (Here you can customize common sales areas, just for not having to build de hierarchy in all the different sales areas).
    5) Assigning hierarchy type for pricing: you indicate which classes of documents uses hierarchy in pricing determination.
It is possible to maintain so called customer hierarchies. This might be useful when for example you create a condition discount for a customer that is part of such a hierarchy structure. All subnodes in the hierarchy below that customer, will thus receive the same discount.
Customer hierarchy setup, firstly decide the hierarchy type to be used.
    The standard is type A.
You can also assign a partner function to the customer so that the higher level customer in the hierarchy is copied into a sales order as a partner function - but you don't need that right?
Next assign your customer account group to the hierarchy type. And enter the combinations that will be allowed for creating the hierarchy.
You want to assign a ship-to to a payer. So enter the ship to account group and enter the payer account group as the higher level.
You must also make an entry for permitted sales area assignments. So if you want to a hierarchy for customers in the same sales area then enter the sales area and enter the same one as the higher level sales area.
All these settings can be found in the IMG. Under SD - master data - business partners - customers - customer hierarchy
You use for example customer hierarchy when you have an company like Unilever and you agree both on a discount. Unilever does have different locations / businesses and you have to maintain the discount for all customers. If you use a customer hierarchy you can maintain the discount for the partner in the top of the hierarchy and in this way it will be valid for all customers in the hierarchy.

  • Master record in MM

what are the master record in MM other than material master and vendor master?

    hi
The Master records other than the MMR are:
    VMR(Vendor master record) :
THese are used to save information regarding the Vendor..you can maintain it in MK01 or XK01....
There are few important parameters like Price, Vendor details like address, name etc....you can save the currency...bank details...etc...
    PIR(Purchase info record):
you can save the data for vendor material comabination...It very important data...it contains all the important data like Price, vendor, material etc and all other information req. for purchasing....
    Quota Arragement:
It helps in distribution in the proper ratio....
    Conditions:
You can save all your conditions in the master record....
    Customer master record:
You can save all the record of your customer in the master record which are then automatically pulled whenever req. at any point....
    Source LIst:
In it you define the material and vendor for the purpose like MRP...you can also block the vendorfor a particular material from the same tcode....you can also make your vendor fix for source determination...
    Hope it helps....

as per both the statement I have confusion of below statement:
After the dunning proposal has been created, changes to the dunning data in items or master records are ignored in the current dunning run.
    is it true?

    Please guide.

    Hi Chetan,
Go to the transaction XD02 then enter your Customer Number which is giving problem then go to the Sales Area Data-->Billing Documents Tab,there you check whether you have entered the tax detailes or not,
If not entered , enter the tax detailes.
-->If the tax detailes not coming in the Customer master >Sales Area data> Billing Documents tab
-->Also check the settings related to between Country (IN) and Tax Condition type (Tax Category) in the transaction OVK1
-->If the Tax condition type not assigned to the country IN assign the tax type to the country IN in the transaction OVK1.
    -->Check OVK3 transaction also.
I hope it will help you
