Condition Type Formula--G

Hello All,
What is the calculation type Formula used for? how is it used?
plz explain with some examples?
Thanks,
Viren.

Dear Viren,
The fallowing scenerios you need to use Alternative calculation type.
When the condition type need to calculate the value other than the standard procedure you need to maintain Alternative calculation type.
Example :-1
VAT Rounding
Use
When you present a customer in Slovakia with an invoice in a foreign currency, the system rounds down the koruna VAT amounts, but not in the foreign currency. When you carry out pricing in Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP R/3 automatically does this for you.
Activities
Customizing
For each of the VAT condition types used in the pricing procedure, set the rounding rule to rounding down. You do so in Customizing for SD, by choosing Basic Functions --> Pricing --> Pricing Control --> Define Condition Types --> Maintain Condition Types. In the Rounding Rule field, enter B (Round Down).
In the pricing procedure itself, assign a rounding rule to each VAT condition type. You do so in Customizing for SD, by choosing Basic Functions --> Pricing --> Pricing Control --> Define and Assign Pricing Procedures --> Maintain Pricing Procedures. In the VAT condition types, enter 174 in the AltCTy (Condition Formula for Alternative Calculation Type) field. This rounding rule instructs the system to round these amounts as described above.
Example 2 :-
Other Taxes
Definition
In certain exceptional circumstances it may be necessary to record alternatives to the standard calculation of taxes for an employee.
The Other taxes (Infotype 0235) record may be used for any tax authority.
Tax types
All tax types except withholding tax are displayed and may be adjusted for the particular authority. You may either alter the calculation of the tax by changing the formula used, or exempt an employee entirely from a tax.
Any change you make here will override the standard calculation of the tax.
I hope it will help you,
Regards,
Murali.

  • Pricing on PO - Condition type with formula

    Dear friends,
    I've one condition type with calculation type (KRECH) set as Formula.
    For the calcutation of this condition I need to set this formula: Value = (Gross Price + Freight) * 0,0035
    Can you please tell me how can I se this condition as required?
    Thanks in advance,
    Afonso Pereira

    Hi
    I have never tried this calculation type - G formula,
    But in the pricing procedure config, there is a field Caclulation type whcih is used as Alternate calculation type.
    You can createa new routine ( nothing but a logic based formula) for caclutaion and assign that to the new condition type.
    This will ensure that if your gross price condition and freight are present then this condition type gets automatically calculated and get populated in the PO conditions.
    For routine creation you need to take help of Abaper.
    Routines are craeted in transaction VOFM

  • Pricing Condition type controls- Formula and condition records

    Hello experts
    I have one question in pricing.
    Is it possible to determine the value of a single condition type by means of the maintained condition records vs a formula depending on the scenario?
    Eg- In my case for the requirement is:-
    If in my sales order the item category is X or Y then i need to use the condition records to determine the value of the condition type  say ZCON but if the item category is Z then i need to use a custom formula?
    Can this scenario be achieved using only one condition type with the appropriate formula or do i have to maintain separate condition types to achieve it?
    Thanks for your inputs.

    I believe it can be achieved with the single condition type. Since the routine assigned in the Requirement in pricing procedure controls the system's access to condition records...create a new VOFM routine which should check the item category and if satisfied, the condition records will be accessed.
    If the requirement fails and a value is not determined, the routine in the alternate calculation type should handle the calculation (based on PR00 value etc.,) and determining the value for this condition type. If not possible this way, should be able to handle this requirement through a userexit.
    Your condition type should be configured allowing both automatic and manual entries.
    This is just a wild guess.

  • Passing values/results between condition type by using the formula

    Hi,
    I'm having one condition type (A), that is determining a result percentage based on Condition Table A. Based on the percentege determined in Condition Table A, I would like to set a custom field value in the Kondition record structure (KOMP) so that value will be considered within condition type B and accessing condition table B.
    So far the only way to set values that I could find was within the Requirement formula associated with condition type B. Are there any other options? And how can I acces the percentage that Condition Type A determined? I looked into all kinds of global tables, but could not find anything.
    Thanks a lot for your help!

    Shivanand,
    There's no need to post that much code when you could create a very short test case that demonstrates only the problem you are having.
    You're using &NAME. notation on something that isn't a page or application item. You can't reference PL/SQL variables that way (or any other way) outside the PL/SQL scope. For your situation, you could create a page item named P55_DOCID and assign it a value in the PL/SQL process (:P55_DOCID := DOCID;), then reference &P55_DOCID. in HTML areas like the success message.

  • How assign formula to condition type??

    I have a condition type with calculation type G (Formula).  I know that formula is calculated in VOFM, however, how to assign this formula to Condition Type??.
    Thanks in advance.

    hi,
    you have to create one additional cond type for the result. let say ZZZZ,
    then go to VOFM ->formula-> condition value-> create new routine
    this the code,
    DATA: xkomv_ZCSA TYPE komv_index, A TYPE WMTO_S-AMOUNT,
    xkomv_Z001 TYPE komv_index,
    xkomv_Z002 TYPE komv_index,
    xkomv_Z003 TYPE komv_index,
    xkomv_ZZZZ TYPE komv_index,
    xkomv_old TYPE komv_index.
    CLEAR: xkomv_Z001, xkomv_Z002, xkomv_Z003, xkomv_ZZZZ, xkomv_old.
    xkomv_old = xkomv.
    READ TABLE xkomv WITH KEY kschl = 'Z001.
    IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
    xkomv_Z001 = xkomv.
    ENDIF.
    READ TABLE xkomv WITH KEY kschl = 'Z002'.
    IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
    xkomv_Z002 = xkomv.
    ENDIF.
    READ TABLE xkomv WITH KEY kschl = 'Z003'.
    IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
    xkomv_Z003 = xkomv.
    ENDIF.
    READ TABLE xkomv WITH KEY kschl = 'ZZZZ'.
    IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
    xkomv_ZZZZ = xkomv.
    ENDIF.
    CLEAR : XKWERT.
    A = ( XKOMV_Z001-KWERT + XKOMV_Z002-KWERT +  XKOMV_Z003-KWERT ) / 3.
    A = A * 100.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CURRENCY_AMOUNT_DISPLAY_TO_SAP'
      EXPORTING
        CURRENCY = XKOMV-WAERS
        AMOUNT_DISPLAY = A
      IMPORTING
        AMOUNT_INTERNAL = A.
    MOVE A TO XKWERT.
    xkomv = xkomv_old.
    AFTER THAT activate this routine, the put this routine in pricing procedure for condition type ZZZZ.
    it'll works
    point if it's helpful
    Best Regard,

  • How I tie the formula with conditions type?

    Hi,
    Than create the formula with tcode O3I7:
    1) how I tie the formula with conditions type?
    2) how I tie the conditions type with the formula with Calculation Schema?
    help me, please.
    thanks

    Hello,
    Pricing formula is created using transaction VOFM. It is tied to the condition types in Pricing Procedure definition in Alternate Calculation Type column. For Pricing procedure, the menu path is SPRO->Materials Management->Purchasing->Conditions->Define Price Determination Process->Define Calculation Schema.
    Thanks,

  • Calculation formula userexit not working for multiple condition types

    Hi,
    we have a problem in the CRM ISA-B2B scenario where the custom user exit is only working for single condition type.
    but we need it for multiple condition types .
    the value of the subtotal is not being retrieved for multiple conditions. at a time only one condition value is being retrieved and shown in the webshop - shopping basket.
    for ex:
    we have scenario 1 where Y001 -Freight condition type is applicable for one customer.and Y002 is applicable for another customer.
    when we are trying to show the subtotal condition value in the webshop by using a single custom user exit in the pricing procedure it is only working for either of the above 2 customers depending on the VMC cache status.
    is there any problem if use the single user exit for both condition types?
    and if it needs to be differentiated how exactly we can do that with the same logic in the java class.
    Thanks in advance,
    PSR.

    Hi Arshi,
    below is the code:
    public class ZValFormula_ZZWI1 extends ValueFormulaAdapter {
         private static String zzwi = "ZZWI1";
         private static char  zzwiC = '@';
         private static UserexitLogger userexitlogger = new UserexitLogger(
         ZValFormula_ZZWI1.class);
         public BigDecimal overwriteConditionValue(IPricingItemUserExit item,
                   IPricingConditionUserExit condition) {
              ICurrencyValue val = condition.getConditionValue();
              userexitlogger.writeLogDebug( "value saved for " + zzwi + " (" + zzwiC + ") = "
                        + val.getValueAsString());
              item.setSubtotal( zzwiC, val.getValue());
              return val.getValue();
    hope this would give more idea to look at the problem.

  • How to prevent consecutive entries of same condition type in a sales order

    Hi,
    My client is using manual condition type for the basic price "ZBPR". Now system allowing multiple entry against this condition type in the pricing screen during order creation i.e in the first line if we put Condition Type "ZBPR" and putting some value as amount, then again if I put "ZBPR" as condition type and give some other value as amount then system is allowing this and doing all the subsequent calculation.This is not acceptable by the client.
       The functional person regarding this is saying this can be done by using routine.Can some body tell me which routine should I take for this if that is possible by routine and the required code.Also say if there is other way to solve this.
    Thanks,
    Manas.

    Hi ,
    u can do it thru VOFM(tcode)--->Menu -> Formulas>condition value , but in this case u need to derive the value of this condition type by using ur own logic.

  • BI IP - Planning Function Type Formula Error "Characteristic not Supported"

    Hi all,
    I have created a planning function type formula with very simple code. The code was copied from SAP Library and FISCPER was replaced with 0CALDAY. I continue to get an error 'Characteristic 0CALDAY is not supported".
    The characteristic 0CALDAY is in the Infoprovider and the aggregation level. I have tried 'To Characteristic Usage' with both changed and in condition.
    DATA D1 TYPE D.
    DATA D2 TYPE D.
    DATA I1 TYPE I.
    DATA I2 TYPE I.
    DATA CALDAY TYPE 0CALDAY.
    FOREACH CALDAY.
    CALCULATE 1ST DAY OF ZCALEND
    D1 = C2DATE( CALDAY, S ).
    CALCULATE LAST DAY OF CALDAY
    D2 = C2DATE( CALDAY, E ).
    CALCULATE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LAST AND 1ST DAY MINUS TWO DAYS
    I2 = 2.
    I1 = D2 - D1 - I2.
        MESSAGE I001(UPF) WITH 'DIFFERENCE' I1.
    ENDFOR.
    Thank you in advance for any help.
    Teri

    Thank you very much for your reply. What would you suggest? I must use 0CALDAY.  As you can tell I am very new to IP, I have tried other options for example:
    DATA ZDAYS TYPE I.
    DATA ZDT TYPE ZCALSTART.
    DATA ZDF TYPE ZCALEND.
    ZDT = ZCALSTART.
    ZDF = ZCALEND.
    ZDAYS = ZDT-ZDF.
    {KF,ZDT,ZDF} = ZDAYS.
    I received an error "ZCALSTART could not be recognized"
    I also tried to call a function. 'FIMA_DAYS_AND_MONTHS_AND_YEARS'.
    DATA D1 TYPE D.
    DATA D2 TYPE D.
    DATA DD TYPE I.
    DATA CALS TYPE ZCALSTART.
    DATA CALE TYPE ZCALEND.
    D1 = CALS.
    D2 = CALE.
    CALL FUNCTION 'FIMA_DAYS_AND_MONTHS_AND_YEARS'
      EXPORTING
        I_DATE_FROM          = D1
      I_KEY_DAY_FROM       =
        I_DATE_TO            = D2
      I_KEY_DAY_TO         =
      I_FLG_SEPARATE       = ' '
    IMPORTING
       E_DAYS               = DD.
      E_MONTHS             =
      E_YEARS              =
    I received an error "Types of parameter I_DATE_FROM () and variable D1(D) are inconsistent".  From what I could find they should be consistant.  Please provide any suggestions. Thank you!

  • RECN (Process Contract) Error while adding condition type

    Hi All
    I am processing the contract (RECN). While adding a new condition type, it gives me thr error
    Parameter KWH (area unit) for calculation formula Y3 has errors
    Moreover when i defined this calculation formula (Y3), units KWH are not coming in area unit field (F4-possible entries).
    Pls help me with that.
    Thnx in advance
    Deepak

    Hi,
    i am assuming you have added customised formula to condition type while creation of conditon. for the formula there is no link to Badi.
    if the above is right, you need not to add any formula and parameter while creation of conditon,first remove the formula form the conditon and assign standard one.
    then select the formula after inserting the condition. error about the formula may be  no value is being supplied from the formula.
    thanks

  • How to set required for group of condition type in the same condition class

    Hello,
              we have a group of condition type with the same condition class B, the last one have been set, and all of others will be inactive.
    but we don't set any required for all the condition types in pricing control, so if user don't set any of them, the sales order or billing is still saved. that is a risk.How can i fix it? Thanks.
    Sophie

    Hello,
      incompletion log is not available in invoices.
    You have different options:
    - activate a validation in FI when the Billing document is released into accounting,  so that te release into accounting is not allowed if the invoice amount is zero;
    - define a subtotal in the pricing procedure as sum of the pricing conditions of your group, then develop a custom routine to be assigned in the formula "CalType" (field T683S-KOFRM) where an error should be raised if the amount of the subtotal is zero (use as an example formula 48);
    Best regards,
    Andrea

  • SAP REFX – Usage of (RECN - Condition Tab ) Formula : E1 – Percentage Share in a condition.

    Dear Experts,
    I would like have a clarification on the usage of Formula: E1 – (Percentage Share in a condition) for a contract type in Refx  - contract ( In conditions Tab ).
    Lets take the scenario as below for example :
    Whenever I am adding a condition    ZREN - Basic Rent : XXXXXX  Rs/ month.
    System has to pick a second condition ( Over head charges ) as default and it should be calculated 20% of the amount as overheads on BASIC RENT amount.
    This 20% should come as default ( Because user cant change this % for anything while creation of contract).
    So I have adopted the config changes as below.
    SPRO - Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) -- Conditions and Flows -- Default Conditions -- Define Default Conditions – selected my condition group – added new entries- assigned a new condition type as my over heads –
    Unit price as – 20 %
    Formula: E1
    Formula Parameter: selected - BASIC RENT condition ( ZREN )
    Is there any other config to be done ( Like adding the Derivation rules - if need Pls Clarify) to fulfill my requirement, B cas after  doing above config my overhead charges condition is not flowing by default, even after manual insertion of Over head charges condition its not taking 20 % as default.( Its asking to enter manually).
    Kindly advise to get the same.
    Regards,
    Subbarao.Narne

    Hi Mr. Narnei,
    If both the conditions are added manually, the condition with E1 as the calculation formula, say ZE1- Perc Share can automatically pick up the value from ZREN - Basic Rent and do the calculation.
    For this you just need to specify the condition in the parameter field in the path: Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) -> Conditions and Flows -> Condition Types and Condition Groups -> Define Condition Types. Also specified in the pictorial below.
    For populating default conditions at contract creation based of different parameters, you would need to implement the badi BADI_RECN_CONTRACT. You can also add additional validation such as, if ZREN - Basic Rent is added to the contract it is mandatory to add ZE1.
    Hope this helps.
    Best Regards,

  • SD PRICING: How to identify the last call of a Condition Value Formula

    Hello  Experts.
    I'm working on a condition value formula, and because a Group Condition, I need to do a calculation in the last call of the formula. The formula is called 5 times and I couldn't identify any flag to diferentiate the last 3 calls.
    I could use a counter in a static variable per position, but I think there must be another way to identify the last call.
    Thanks in advance and best regards
    Matías

    Hi,
    Define a counter say w_ii type I in your routine.
    Whenever you enter the routine  use 'IMPORT' to get the last value of w_ii. If sy-subrc ne 0 its first time so increment the counter w_ii = w_ii + 1 & 'EXPORT' it. If sy-subrc = 0 check the value of w_ii to decide if it's the last time.If yes do whatever you want to do
    else increment w_ii i.e. w_ii = w_ii + 1 & 'EXPORT' it which in turn will be used during next 'IMPORT'.
    I hope this helps,
