Confirmation on Calculation of

Hi
I would like to confirm for SPA B1 2007BB, in a marketing document, the calculation of Tax (shown on the bottom right) is based on the Document Total or is the summation of Tax Amount for each individual row?
For Example, there is 2 rows with the below amount:
Tax Code is 7% rated.
Row 1 - Unit Price 158761.8, Qty 1, Total (LC) 158761.8
Row 2 - Unit PRice 15876.18, Qty - 1, Total (LC) -15876.18
Thank you
Regards
Siew Yuen

HI,
Calculation of the Tax in the bottom right corner of the document is always based on the summation of the tax amounts in individual rows. Because if you define multiple rows with different tax codes then it cant calculate the total tax correctly by calculating it on the total doument total. That's why, the tax amount is calculated on summation of individual rows tax amount.

  • Delivery Confirmation date calculation

    Dear All,
In the sales order the delivery confirmation date is achieved after running the Availability check.
In our case lead time calculation for TAB item category is from Planned delivery time in Material master or Purchase info record+GR processing time + Purchase processing time + Pick/Pack days
But our requirement is, Planned delivery time to be calculated from  Material master not from Purchase info record.
In Plant parameter setting I have removed the check of Scheduling : Info Rec/Agreement still the planned delivery time is calculated from Purchase info record.
Please let me know any BADI to get the planned delivery time from material master.
    Regards,
    Nirmal

Please check if you have selected the check box for replenishment lead time.

  • Confirmation Number Calculations

I am writing an application where I would like to generate a confirmation number to give back to the end user as a means to confirm his/her transaction. Does anybody know of a good platform independant strategy for generating such a number? I would like the confirmation number to be non-sequential and 10 characters or less if possible. I would also welcome any advice on the Dos and Don'ts of confirmation number generation. Suggested reference material would also be good. Thanks for your help in advance.

How about using a pseudo-random number generator, such as the one provided in java.util.Random? For example, Random.nextInt() will return an integer, which is guaranteed to be in range: -2147483648 to 2147483647 (Integer.MIN_VALUE and Integer.MAX_VALUE). This is 10 digits, ignoring the minus sign. You could just throw away the negative ones, or subtract negative ones from ((long) Integer.MAX_VALUE), storing it in a long.
As long as you're using the int's in their entirety (not stripping bits), then you'll be guaranteed that they won't repeat until you've gone through all 2^32 possible ids. This is a property of the RNG used in Random.
The only problem I see is that when your program shuts down, how do you store the RNG's state so that you can start at the same position in the sequence? Another property of the RNG is that it always gives out the same sequence of numbers, if started with the same seed. But Random has setSeed(), but no getSeed(). Any ideas?
One possibility is to save the initial seed and keep a count of the ids you've passed out; when you restart the program, you run through all of the old ids before generating new ones. This is kind of lame, but it should work.

  • Doubt abt T.C OPKI (Confirmation parameter for collective confirmation)

    Hello Friend,
In OPKI Transaction, there are by default 3 categories are maintained and for which confirmation parameters are maintained.
Now my question is , what is meant by third category "Confirmation by Order Information System"? I mean for which transaction (confirmation),this parameter is maintained?
I hope you understood by question.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Jitendra D  Chauhan

    Confirmation from order info systems:
It refers that in collective entry the work to be confirmed is calculated proportionally to the quantity and is at once proposed on the entry list. and specifies  that in the collective entry the quantities still to be confirmed are immediately proposed on the entry list.
    Fast data entry:
in the collective entry the quantities still to be confirmed are not proposed and the work still to be confirmed is not proposed..

  • QCI in delivery confirmation

    Hi,
When I change the received qty in delivery confirmation its calculating the other units from the delivery/load confirmation in terms of ratio/percentage. For example if I create delivery for 17 TO in delivery confirmation if I change the received qty 16 its calculating the SCM as 16/17*SCM in delivery. I am not able to get conversions by using QCI. Is it the standard functionaly. If I first change the temparature and density its calculating accordingly.
    Edited by: k c on Nov 18, 2009 10:22 AM

    Hi,
It is not advisable to change the quantity during delivery confirmation. after completion of load confirmation stock is in transit and logically it should not change. During delivery confirmation you can update the temp and it will change the quantity and post loss/gain.
If QCI pop is not come please check whether O3defaults are maintained for the material or not.

  • Urgent: Why system allows the scrap confirmation more than PrdOrd Qty.

    Dear All,
I am facing client sensitive problem regarding scrap confirmation at CO11N.
As I am having Production Order of 15 qty & having 3 Operation.
Now I have confirmed the first Operation with 15 qty as Yield.
for second operation I confirmed 10 qty yield & 5 as scrap.
for third operation system is allows me to confirmed the 15 qty as a yield. That's should not be allowed logically & practically as well.
& system is allowing to confirmed 'N' no of qty of scrap.i.e more than Production order qty.
Please give your valuble suggesting to clear this issue.
& exact terminology behind the scrap confirmation.
Your immediate reply is highly appreciated
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vijay Mankar

    Hi vijay,
    please try this
    Quantity Calculation for Milestone/Progress Confirmation
Specifies that for milestone or progress confirmations, the quantities (yield, scrap) of automatically generated confirmations are calculated without taking into account the scrap percentage rate of each operation.
If you do not set this indicator, then the planned scrap percentage rate of each operation is taken into account when calculating the confirmed total quantity. In the generated confirmations, the proportional scrap is added to the yield.
If you set this indicator, then the automatic confirmations are posted with the same total quantities as the the milestone or progress confirmation. Scrap is posted as yield in the automatically generated confirmations.
    Example
24 pieces of scrap are planned for an order of 124 pieces. The planned operation quantities are:
    Operation 10 124 pieces, 10% scrap (13 pieces)
    Operation 20 111 pieces, 5% scrap (6 pieces)
    Operation 30 105 pieces, 4% scrap (5 pieces)
You enter a milestone confirmation for operation 30 with 48 pieces for the yield and 2 pieces of scrap. The quantities in the automatically generated confirmations are then calculated as follows:
    Indicator is not set
Operation 10 59 pieces, 0 pieces scrap - automatic confirmation
Operation 20 53 pieces, 0 pieces scrap - automatic confirmation
    Operation 30 48 pieces, 2 pieces scrap
    Indicator is set
    Operation 10 50 pieces, 0 scrap - automatic confirmation
    Operation 20 50 pieces, 0 scrap - automatic confirmation
    Operation 30 48 pieces, 2 pieces scrap

  • How to get Production Order wise Actual Values

    Dear CO Experts,
How to get Actual Values (Raw Material Issue, Activity Confirmations & OH Calculations & Goods Receipts from Production) each Production Order wise ?
My Scenario is Product Cost Collectors (PCC)  with Production Orders.
If we select above scenario Production Order is Statistical and PCC is real cost object.
For PCC is Period wise we can track the cost Periodically in individual Material.
But my client is asking how to see the each Production Order wise Actual values. Is there any T.Code ??
In Production Order I am able to see only Plan values (CO03).
    Waiting for your favorable reply.
    Regards,
    KBR.

    Hi Bhaskar
You are in Alaska and you wanna eat vegetarian food
You cant get values at Prod order level if you have chosen PCC as cost object.... You will only get Qty at Prod order level
To get a bird's eye view of costs incurred in PCC, execute report MCRY with PCC as the input...  MCRX shows only Qty info for components

  • KKBC_HOE, KKBC_ORD explanation needed

    Hi,
I would like to use KKBC_HOE summarization report to analyze my production cost centers to compare plan/target actual costs for activity confirmations used by production orders.  I think I can achieve that, as from KKBC_HOE I can gather cost center, activity type, planned quantity of hours, target quantity of hours, actual quantity of hours, planned costs, target costs and actual costs of activities confirmed.
I have only some doubts about these key figures. If I select only one particular period for analysis:
    - will plan quantity and plan costs of activity confirmation refer to total planned costs of the order (even if order lasts more than one period) or only plan quantity and costs that should be used in the selected period
    - will target quantity and target costs of activity confirmation be calculated only after final delivery from order to warehouse or will they be calculated with every partial delivery which happens during the period.
I think these questions refer both to KKBC_ORD and KKBC_HOE as these reports work in the same way.
    Thank you for help,
    Karol
Edited by: Karol on Mar 10, 2010 9:54 AM

    Hi Ajay,
    Thanks for your reply.
When I run KKBC_ORD for REL and PDLV order, while generating the report in the low left corner there is information 'Target costs being calculated'. Then it shows in KKBC_ORD the target quantity and costs for the partially delivered quantity to the stock. However, when I run KKS2 for this order I get information that Variances cannot be calculated as no DLV or TECO status is set.
I think that KKBC_HOE shows target only for DLV and TECO from the table populated by KKS1 in the monthend. Please check KKBC_ORD for a REL and PDLV order and I think you will get target for it.
I have a hierarchy for KKRC which captures orders with REL and not DLV status. Target for such KKBC_HOE is zero. This makes me think that KKBC_HOE differs from KKBC_ORD in terms of Target data.
    Thanks,

  • Difference between Key Process Indicator or Key Performance Indicator

    Hi Experts,
Can any body give me the difference between
Key Process Indicator or Key Performance Indicator
Like description , Scenorio, difference, where it will be used in companies, What will be measured by using these things.
I have to interact with my client for gathering the requirements on basis of these KPI's . Please guid me how to finish this task successfully.
    Regards
    Vijay

    Hello Vijay,
Regarding Key Peerformance indicator all experts have already explain well...
I would like to focus on Key Process Indicator: It is always process specific. The main KPI (Key performance indicator is breaked into smaller componenets based on Time, Material used, Manpower used etc)
So for key process indicators we can have reports like Process yield by operation, Process yield by manpower spend etc..
Also the cost of non confirmance is calculated based on the Key Process indicator as it comes from small small reports and finally come up as a Big cost for Non confirmance.
During the process audit the major focus is always on key processes. Using leam manufacturing functions these process are audited and are subjected to change if the indicators are on lower side..
Key Performance Indicators give us a broder view on buisness and mainly useful for knowing in which direction the bussiness is going...
    Hope it will be helpful.

This error relating to New G/L split functionality such as the document type and G/L accounts document type. Doc type is using as same as normal production order and normal production order confirmations and other activities are posted successfully. Iu2019m in a puzzle, regards to this behavior of rework order?
    Back ground for rework order:
Rework order was created through trigger points.
Rework order doesn't have any material, it has to pick and settle to original production order; the same was defined at re-work order settlement.
Rework order not doing any cost calculations at production order level itu2019s giving a message as below:
    Object was not costed
    Message no. CK060
    Diagnosis
The system could not find any entries that are relevant to costing.
    System Response
The system did not cost the object.
    Procedure
Check whether the following objects should be flagged as relevant to costing:
    - Items in the BOM
    - Display BOM
    - Operations in the routing
    - Control key in the routing
    1.  Look at the message log.
    2.  Check whether a quantity was specified in the confirmation.
Will some one throw some light to come out from this situation and what I missed out and what need to be maintained exactly Plz.
    Thanks in advanceu2026Vyas

    Hi Mangalraj,
Have check the BOM & Routing for Parent production order costing check box is for both. Coming to rework order doesn't have any material, though it has pulled the some material cost from parent production order. The same can see at production order costs>analysis, but where as costs>itemization not able to see and mesage issued like: object was not costed.
as early mentioned, confirmation level same error.
Hope this may give some idea on this case, thanks for your time on this.
    Looking forward some light.
    Thanks...Vyas

  • Overhead calculation for partial confirmation.

    Hi dudes,
here we are working with production orders of huge quantities and doing partial confirmation according production process. suppose we running overhead calculation for these order which are being partially confirmed.
if overheads are calculated where can we see these values.
    thanks in aadvance
    Robert

    Hi
You could see it in the production order change mode itself.
Open CO02,Click cost calculation button, then go to -> Goto ->Costs->Analysis
There in the cost analysis structure you could see the actual values in the overhead cost elements by choosing appropriate layout(Layout-Cost trend or Plant/Actual)

  • Calculating Actual Cost for Time Confirmation using a BAPI

Does anyone know how to calculate the Actual Cost when creating a time confirmation for a Plant Maintenance work order? I am using BAPI_ALM_CONF_CREATE to create the time confirmation for a work order, but there does not appear to be any options that will calculate the Actual Costs. This functionality would be similar to what occurs in transaction IW41 when creating a time confirmation.
I tried the suggestions on the OSS notes for BAPI_ALM_CONF_CREATE, but they do not seem to work.
We have developed Custom Screen using a handheld device to have production personnel enter there time spent working on a piece of equipment.  Basically we are trying to get the same results on the handheld as we would get using IW41 where it runs the cost calculation based on the hourly rate setup in FICO.

  • Labour hour calculation in confirmation

    Hi,
I have a scenario where one employee is assigned common to two capcities of one work centers.
While taking up production of two products in a same work center in two capacities how the labour hour would be calculated. Example:
    Work center : W001, No.Of Individual Machine Capacities -2
                                   No.Of Individual Labour Capacities -1.
Two Production orders released in work centers for the same time. One order is run for 6 hrs in a shift, another order is run for 8 hrs in the same shift(Means upto 6hrs both were in parallel, then last 2 hours only one order was ruuning),Labour performs both the orders in parallel as he manages both machines. How much is the labour time to be entered in CO11N confirmation for each order.

    Hi,,
U can see the labor cost. But prior to that u have to mention the workcenter in the order and in work center u have to mention capacity of work center and mention the formula for cost calculation cost.all this have to first configure in work center prior to use in any order then order give u cost of the Labor according to Ur Order time confirmation your timing should be 6 hrs and 8 hrs as there are two order we want to calculate the cost of each order.
