Problem when integrating Web based system

I want to integrate a web based system.I tried to use appintegrater, but my web system only has one page that accept URL parameters to let you login.
So, I need to try Http system and URL iView. There is an "Authentication URL" property in http system, does that mean I can fill in the page which accepts URL parameters, and fill the "URL Parameter for Password" and "URL Parameter for User Name". Then ,when I want to access any page through this http system, will the system login to the web system use the properties defined first?
I've tried this method, but failed. I don't know if the method will work? If not, anybody can give some suggestion?

Hi,
there is no out of the box solution for a xml export. So you got 2 options.
First :
Use the SDK and create your own export solution, which will executed whiled printing / inserting a order.
Second :
Use a third party addon like coresuite, which allows you to create a batch including VB scripts. So if you press print, the batch job creates the printout and a xml file for your export to the web services.
Perhaps your issue could also solved by using the XL-reporter, but i do not know exactly which functions the XL-reporter has.

Connecting GUI Based system to SQL

WRT54G V8 Can't connect to web based setup page?

Earlier I reset my router and was able to use 192.168.1.1 to visit the web based setup page while trying to re-establish a home network now that I have a new computer using Windows 7 which can not use the easylink advisor. I was able to get on the page to update my SSID and WEP key. But when my wireless devices were still having problems connecting to the internet I tried to go back to the page and found that I can't get it to connect, though my desktop is able to connect to other internet sites just fine.
Does anyone know what i can be doing wrong? I am using Verizon DSL. I was able to ping the router and all tests showed that it was connected fine, yet I still cannot get on the setup page and my laptop still can't connect to the network. I have tried resetting the router again, and still nothing. And yes, I have gone through numerous power cycles. I also tried going though the network map on my computer, but the computer says it was unable to create a map for it even though at the time I had it listed as a Home network.

Wireless connections to 192.168.1.1 often fail. When accessing the router setup pages, always use a computer that is wired to the WRT54G.
If the above does not solve your problem, then here are my other tips for viewing the router setup pages:
You do not need an Internet connection. The router's "web pages" are built into the router.
Use Internet Explorer, it usually works.
JavaScript must be enabled.
Use a computer that is wired to the router.
In the non-working computer, temporarily turn off your software firewall.
Point your browser to 192.168.1.1 , then login to your router. Your user name should be left blank. Your password is "admin" (with no quotes), unless you changed it.
If you are using Zone Alarm, right click on the ZA icon in the system tray (lower right corner of screen) and then click "Shutdown ZoneAlarm", and see if this fixes your problem. If this does not work, try the following with Zone Alarm: Open the ZAISS control center, go to Privacy, then temporarily turn off Ad Blocking and Cookie Control, and see if that fixes your problem.
Some Zone Alarm users have reported that adding 192.168.1.1 to their list of "trusted" addresses fixed the problem. This trick might also work with other firewalls.
If you are using Noton Internet Security with the Add-on Pack, be sure to turn off the Pop-up Blocker, and the Ad blocker. Some users have reported that they needed to uninstall the entire Norton Add-on Pack.
If you cannot get anything at 192.168.1.1 then perhaps this is not your router's address. Go to "Start" > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
A black DOS box will appear. Type in "ipconfig" (with no quotes), then hit the Enter key. Look at the "Default Gateway". Is it 192.168.1.1 ? Point your browser to the "Default Gateway", then login to your router.
If the above fails, disconnect your modem from the router, and try again. If this corrects your problem, then most likely you have a "modem-router" rather than an ordinary modem. Report back with this problem, and also state the make and exact model number of your modem (not the router).
If all of the above fails, power down your entire system, unplug it from the wall, wait one minute, then power up and try again.
If all of the above tips fail, then reset the router to factory defaults: Power down the router and disconnect all wires from it. Wait one minute. Power up the router, allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes), then press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release the button and allow the router to reset and reboot ( 2-3 minutes). Power down router. Wait one minute. Connect one computer, by wire, to a LAN port on the router. Boot up system. The router should work, but you will need to setup your router again from scratch. If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it.
If you still have trouble, then you need to download and install (or re-install) the latest firmware for your router. After the firmware upgrade, you must reset the router to factory defaults, then setup the router again from scratch. If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it.

Web-Based Game Skill System

Hello everyone,
I am currently developing a web-based game website using
Coldfusion 8 and MS SQL.
Until recentely, things have been going well. But I am now
stuck on a small issue of using an in-game skill system.
The way it works (or will work) is that your in-game
character will have a large library of skills to choose from, all
of which are accessible throughout the entire game. By choosing a
skill, your character will begin learning it over a set amount of
time (the time required for that specific skill). Your character
will, over time, generate it's own library of learnt skills - each
benefiting him or her within the game.
I hope this is all clear so far :)
So my small (but actually quite large) issue is that I'm not
sure how to go about storing this list of learnt skills.
My first instinct was to create a column within the
"characters" table in which the learnt skills would be stored as a
list, and then drawn out when actually listed on a page. But I have
heard that using lists within database tables isn't such a good
idea, and I would generally prefer another way around the issue.
My next idea was to create a table listing all of the
available skills as columns (a kind of library of every in-game
skill), then the characters would have a single row in that table
in which they have a "yes" or "no" under each skill column. These
yes or no answers would then be used to generate the library of
skills that character has. But this idea is very messy and I don't
even know how I could use this table in an SQL query...
I'd really like a simple and powerful solution for this
issue/problem, and I would be highly appreciative of anyone that
could help me!

Actually Dan was guiding you down the correct database
normalization
path. What you have is a classic many-to-many join. You have
many
character records and many skill records and you want to join
them such
that a character can have 0-N skills (zero to infinity) and a
skill can
be used by 0-N players.
This is done with three tables. A character table with the
basic
details of a character and a skills table with the details of
the skills
and a joining table that connects the two. At a minimum the
join tables
simple consists of two fields, a foreign key field to the
characters
table and a foreign key field to the skills table. Thus for
each skill
a character has there will be one record connecting the two
id's
together. This joining table can easily be expanded to have
other data
about the character-skill join such as when it started, what
level the
character has reached in the skill, whatever else your system
needs.
An simple Example:
Character Table

1 Joe
2 Sam
3 George
Skill Table
ID Name
1 Hunting
2 Cooking
3 Archery
Character_Skill Join Table
CharID SkillID

Thus with basic SQL join syntax we can synthesize the data
that Joe can
hunt and shoot arrows, Sam can cook and George can do it all.

I use E-Finance as a web based application for managing company purchase orders.
It allows to drill into our Finance system and view Invoice documents that have been previously scanned.
I can do this using Internet explorer, but I don't seem to be able to in Firefox. I believe it to be linked to the Internet Security settings on the PC, but I cannot find in FIrefox similar options to those in the Advanced tab in Internet explorer.

It seems no one here is familiar with this application.
Which IE settings need to be changed? While Firefox doesn't have the same approach to security (e.g., by "zone") there may be some parallels.

Cannot connect using Accessing the Router's Web-Based

I'm trying to update firmware, I have done all the step to access the router's web-based.. I connected DSL to the Ethernet port on the router, from the router I used another Ethernet cable to connect the router to my laptop.. I can't get an internet connection. The reason why I'm doing the update I have been using WRT54G2 V1 with no problems, all at once I can't connect to the internet using the router. I was told that I need to perform a firmware update.

What' s the ip address and the default gateway are you getting on the computer ?
Connect the DSL modem to the Internet port of the router then use port number one on the router to connect the computer.
Click on Start > Run > type CMD hit Enter command promt window will appear on the screen.
In the command promt window tupe "ipconfig" hit Enter. Now you will see the ip address and the default gateway on the screen. Use the default gateway to open the setup page of the router.

Could not connect to backend system through portal via Web Dispatcher

Dear Experts,
I have implemented a scenario which comprised of customizing that is developed in Portal EP7. What customizing does is getting report from backend system (ERP 6.0)
According to the needs for reaching the portal from internet I configured the SAP Web Dispatcher in the environment as you may see its contents below.
The problem is when I run the customizing in portal system then it requires connecting to backend system (ECC 6.0) to get the data (report). But from this point on web browser comes to a blank page, could not view the data that is from backend system via portal. Because in the time when it tries to retrieve data in backend system, on the left bottom of the explorer the indicator shows internet address that system uses connecting to the backend system as local network address of the backend system which is not known in internet therefore I get blank page.
The question is how to configure the web dispatcher in a way that both portal and backend systems could be reachable from internet?

Hi,
To resovle this you must have registered FQDN for your backend system as well. When you call the report from Portal using internet it should call that FQDN of your backend system then DNS will resolve this & you will get the expected page. This way only you can resolve this issue.

Outlook Web Access sends an illegal Content-Dispositon header to Firefox. This is no longer allowed in Firefox 8. Firefox 9 will have a workaround for this so that Microsoft has time to fix their software.

Connection SQLite with Flex Web Based App??

Hi! I have a problem, I create a Flex Web Based App in Flash Builder 4 and I need connect that app with my SQLite database... but I can't found the method that permit me create that connection.
My question is... exist some method or some kind of code with I can do the connection?

SQLLite is only available in AIR apps.
The preferred method for a web-app is to use some kind service architecture to expose your data. I wouldn't be able to offer any specific advise without knowing more about your deployment environment.

It could very well be Verizon where you're able to access from your home PC. But have you tried looking into the Laptops operating system Device Manager to see if that gives any indication of anything, like perhaps possible network driver update?

IPhone 5 unable to connect to internet or use web-based apps like Facebook or Tumblr

About two days ago, shortly after using my iPhone 5 to upload a picture of my son eating a donut to Facebook, I seem to have lost all ability to connect to the internet or update content on web-based apps like Facebook or Tumblr. I tried to restore my iPhone in iTunes on my computer but could not do that without first turning of "Find My iPhone," in the iCloud section of my settings. When asked to enter my password to turn off this feature the phone is "unable to connect to iCloud." It doesn't seem to matter if I'm connected to WiFi or using my cell data - I'm getting a strong signal in either case, but the phone is unable to connect to anything. I CAN make phone calls and send texts but that's just about it.
I recently updated to IOS 8.1.1 but it worked fine for several days before this problem started. Any ideas?

I reset my network settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings) and rejoined my network, and that seemed to fix it. Apps are working on wifi and on data, and I can once again send imessages. Since I couldn't find a similar post very easily, I wanted to post this for whoever needs help with this problem ;D
