Connectivity Cable Drivers: Not Installed???

I have installed the PC Suite 6.82; I have installed the Nokia Software Updater 1.1.40en; I have perfectly synchronised my Nokia N73 using PC Suite, but it still can't be discovered by the NSU. When I tried to look up why this problem had appeared, I found in the System Info given to me by the PC Suite that Connectivity Cable Drivers had not been installed. I checked in Control Panel - they WERE there. Anyway, I decided that uninstalling and reinstalling PC Suite and NSU will solve the issue, but it didn't. I still CAN synchronise the phone and CAN'T get it discovered by the NSU and thus - update its firmware.

Try reinstalling just the drivers (pick the drivers for the cable you have):

PC suite - Cable drivers not installed???

After installing the PC suite VER 6.82.22.0, though PC recognizes N70 phone, the PC suite does not get connected. When clicked 'About PC suite' and 'system info', message cable drivers not installed is found. However, if checked in the control panel, the drivers are found installed. The earlier version did not have any problems. Can any body solve this.

I'm a bit surprised that the only supported Linux distros are commercial (costing money) distros!
What's the point in providing Linux support for your tools then. The overwhelming majority of Linux users use free distros like Mint, Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora etc.
I had exactly the same problem and now I'm forced to BUY a Linux distro in order to build PetaLinux?
Anyway, a) are there any plans to support these tools on the more popular (free) distros? and b) Does anyone know if we can use CentOS 6, since that's supposed to be a community (free) clone of the supported (but not free) RHEL 6 distro?
Anyone know of an 'unsuported' Linux distro that 'works' anyway (especially for the cable drivers)?
It LOOKS as if that one cable driver install issue is the only thing preventing us from using a boat load of other distros. Can't this be fixed?

Nokia 6210 Nav, PC Connectivity Cable Drivers

When trying to connect my 6210 to my PC it takes about an hour or more and it says it is installing the PC Connectivity Drive. After all this it seems to only stay connected for a short time and then drops out. Can anyone offer help? Thanks

if you're on vista then it's common for this OS to take very long time to install drivers. but that should happen the first time you connect the phone only, after installation the phone should connect without problems after that.
anyway,1- try to remove your version of nokia pc suite
2- run a registery cleaner if you have one
3- download the latest version of nokia pc suite
4- install the app, wait for it complete and ask for a reboot.
5- reboot the pc, connect the device.
if you experiance any problems with driver installation again, stop automatic search of drivers , and direct the search to (c:\program files\nokia\connectivity cable drivers) that should speed the installation.

HP Connection manager service not installed. Application will exit

I'm actually having a number of problems with this laptop, but I figured I'd start with this one. I get the message "HP connection manager service not installed. Application will exit.
As strange as this may seem, when I get this message, I also cannot open any of the folders on my desktop. I don't know if the problems are related or not.
Any help is appreicated !

I grasp that you are having multiple issues with your notebook, one of which is when you try to open the connection manager you get the message "HP connection manager service not installed. Application will exit.". You also can not open folders on your desktop.
Have you checked for viruses or malware? MS Malicious Software Removal Tool.
This is not a recommendation but many people have used Malwarebytes with success also.
Have you tried running MS Fix It to aid with overcoming issues?
Have you tried doing a restore back to when it was working properly?
If you still have issues I suggest you do a recovery back to factory.

HP 5610xi "drivers not installed"

Setup and printed from a HP 5610xi on a iBook G4 (10.3.9) using USB. Then tried to setup through Airport Express (USB printing enabled)-Rendezvous 'sees' the printer but "drivers not installed' message stops the process? 'Latest' HP drivers are installed

Computer says itunes drivers not installed?

computer doesnt recognize ipods. tried to update itunes and it shut my computer down and blew out all my ports. had computer repaired, seems that update worked but cant plug in ipods to sync music and the box comes up saying the itunes drivers not installed. how do i install them? im a little hesitant to download itunes again after what happened last time, so just wanted some advice.

No, you will not lose your library. The actual installation and where your files are stored are in separate locations. When you uninstall, you are only uninstalling the program, and therefore, your library will not be affected.
Only thing to note is if you changed the location of your itunes library, you will have to tell itunes where you keep your library, so itunes can load it from there.

The host PC interacting with our PXI 8196 (1052 chassis) recently had a hard drive failure, and I have had to reinstall all of our LabVIEW software and custom VIs on a new computer. The software is up and running, but I am having problems with connectivity to the PXI. The PXI is recognized in MAX, and everything is accessible (scales for our load cells, etc etc). But when I open up my labview VI project, I cannot connect to the PXI. It has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point next to it, and when I right click, the error message says that the plug-in is not installed. I have one CD that seems to have PXI drivers on it, but after installing, I had the same problem.
I was not the one who originally connected this system, and I am having trouble finding the documentation to get me back up and running. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So I have attached a screenshot from MAX showing all my devices and modules. Through MAX, I am able to access test panels for my modules (like the 6259 DAQ board) as well as the custom scales I have previously set up for the 9 load cells we use. The other screenshot shows where the issue still lies... when opening my LabVIEW project.
When re-installing all the software, I do not remember seeing anything titled "PXI Platform Services". Will all of the MAX connections work without Platform Services? If not, can you direct me to the correct download? We are using Windows XP and LabVIEW 8.2.
Also, I do not see the PXI or anything from NI in the Windows Device Manager. Again, maybe this is because the above Platform Services are not installed?

Connecting problems: software not installed?

Alright, lately I've been having a few problems with my iTunes. At first it wouldn't show up at all, and then when I fixed that, this happened. Whenever I connect my touch to the computer via USB cable, this message appears on my iTunes:
"This iPod cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install iTunes again."
So basically, I can't sync anything from my iTunes into my iPod, it just charges. I have removed and installed it again, doesn't work. Is this some kind of other virus or something else? PLEASE HELP!!

This takes a bit more work than just reinstalling iTunes. You have to do a complete removal of Apple software (see this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 ) and re-installation.
The second half of this is make sure Apple Mobile Device Services is running properly after the install. See this article for help/information: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567
If Windows doesn't prompt you to reboot after the installations, make sure you do anyway.

Did you try this:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

Latest Vista 64 bit drivers not install

It don't matter what I do, I cannot get the "SBXF_PCDVTBETA_L3_2_0_0000" drivers working with my X-fi Fatality sound card.
Things I have done:
Turned off the signiture thingy as per the read-me (both at start-up and premient way)
Turned off windows firewall
Turned off Windows Defender
No Antivirus/Firewall/Spyware/Adware protection
Run the file as a normal user and right clicked and selected "run as administrator".
Made sure no previous sound drivers were installed.
As soon as it gets to the "Updating the windows files", I get another box come up:
Creative Device Driver Installation has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avalible.
The only button I have is, close program, I click that and it goes to the audio console. At that stage I cancel the installation because ther sound apps dont work without the sound driver.
So I am left with a very muted PC.
My PC Specs:
Windows Vista Beta 2 5384
AMD Athlon 4000 2.4 Ghz
Asus Geforce 7800GT
2GB of RAM
Proacti've Asus A8n-Sli Deluxe Motherboard
Asus TV card
Creative X-fi Fataty Soundcard
Logitech 2. Speakers
Hopefully somebody can help me out with my issue

Boot Camp will not support Vista on newer iMacs, you will need to upgrade to Windows 7. Also as an FYI there is a Boot Camp forum, you can locate it by clicking Apple Support Communities and then in the search field type Boot Camp.

Device drivers not installing

GOt a palm pilot tx, need to put a kaba access control system on it. Tried win 7 64 bit computer, vista 32 bit computer, xp 32 bit computer and win 2000 computer. drivers will not install with plug and play nor with installation cd. I can't find anything online, as I am the only IT guy and I have many projects on the go right now. Any help would be appreciated.

PalmOS devices do not use "plug and play" to install software. They use a software program called "Quick Install" to install apps. Install Palm Desktop on the 32bit XP computer, then try the installation disk.
Echoing what smkranz said, are you sure you're trying to install a PalmOS program?

CD drivers not installed on PSE 5

I'm using ver 5 on a new machine (Vista 64 bit) and things are going fine with the program.
Except, when I want to burn a disc. I get the message: The CD device driver is not installed. Please reinstall Photoshop Elements.
I did. Still the same result and the same message.
Is this link the solution to this problem?

Synch outlook contacts to contacts in blackberry storm 9550 with wired connection: "address book not installed"

I have been synching outlook, calendar, address book contacts, task and memos, to my blackberry storm 9550 using outlook 2003 for about 6 months. Somewhere along the line, MS Outlook on my PC no longer synchs with Blackberry contacts. I can still synch calendar, tasks and memos, but get a "not installed" for the address book contacts. I have installed the latest blackberry desktop 6.1.0B38 and tried to reconfigure. I still get "address book not installed" for the contacts. This is a wired synch and wireless is turned off. Any ideas how to fix? Davewi
