I am using BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE for updating price in the contract which I completed. Now, I need to add the functionality of updating the scales in the contract. Please guide me on this and also send me
test program.

You have to create the LSMW or use custom p[rogram to do this.. there is transaction available but will not be used for many records.

PO net price updation with respect to contract net price change

We have a requirement: Whenever net price in Contract is changed, net price in open purchase orders (for which GR has been not done yet) which are created with reference to that contract updated automatically.
For example net price in a conract is 13 USD and there are 5 open POs. now net price (PB00) in contact is changed to 13.5 USD without changing the condition validity date, then it should be automatically updated in those 5 POs.

This is possible using "Automatic Document Adjustment" functionality (MM - Purchasing -- PO - Follow-on Functions - AAA).
Here's the process.
1. Set Document Index active flag in pur. view of vendor master.
2. Create work list (MEI4)
3. Run MEI1
2 & 3 above can be run daily via batch jobs which will pick up contract price changes and update relevant PO's.

Update info record price, when changing contract price

Hi
In the SAP OSS 569885 it is precised clearly:
If an info record already exists, upon creation or change of
a contract, neither price nor conditions are updated in the info
record.
So, my question is:
Is there any way to update info records prices upon a contract change or creation .

the info record is a kind of general, means it has the general price. A contract is an agreement for a certain quantity and price and period that may have a price that you can only get from your vendor with this kind of agreement. So it is not really logical to have the contract price in the info record, too.
There is no way to get this update automatically.

Restricting PO Price Change (ME22/ME22N)

Hi Guys,
Restrict Purchase Order Price Change:
We want to restrict buyers from changing the price on the purchase order/Contracts after it has been created. So basically restrict them from making any change to the PO price within transactions ME22/ME22N/ME32/ME32K. We would like to provide the buyer with flexibility to change the price within a given tolerance level, if possible.
Has anyone instituted this type of practice? If yes, what are all the different methods which could be used to achieve this? What are the Pro/Cons for each of the methods?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Did you intent to say that ""you can make display in M/06 tcode but you can NOT put the price change tolerance here"?
Additionally, I haven't found anywhere else where the price change within tolerance can be set, beside the user exit option. Do you agree?

Price Change in iTunesconnect doesn't show up in the library. why?

Hello,
We are to have a app price discount event in a limited time. (Like 5 days)
Our current app's price is 2.99 USD, tier3. Target price is 1.99.
There was no problem changing price in itunesconnect. ( I already asked iTunes about this problem. it says "Bud inside your DPS app. other then that, that cannot happen")
But it never showed up in our library or store. (I've waited for over 3 days and see if it changes. But still no change in our app library. So, waiting for more isn't a correct answer. )
What I need to do was delete the whole app and reinstall the app. Then, the price change showed up.
Why? I can't make our subsribers and customers erase our apps from their ipads and reinstall.
[ Conditions ]
- We have done our IAP service for a few years without any problem
- iTunes contract&payment information was all correct.
- We build our app with Adobe DPS.
- and yes. Or fourse, I have our local sales company (in S.Korea) to help us. But so slow that I won't be able to open our price discount event on schedule.
Any possible solution? Please help.

Unable to prevent Price change for Outline Agreement

Dear Experts,
Once Outline Agreement is generated in SAP, I do not want to allow users to change the price.
I have tried with " Field Selection at Document level" using ME32-Change outline agreement field selection.
I select "Quantity and Price" and select check box Display for "Price and Price Unit",Price Date", "Condition Group".
This will not allow price change at item details level (field grayed out) but user can still select Item condition (for Example PB00) and change the price there.
Is there any solution for this ?
Ideally I want to do this for a particular Document type of Outline Agreement only.

This is not the desired solution. I can not ask Client to change to create different uses for create and change .
In the buinsess process , mostly create an change users are same for outline agreements.
I do not wna to restrict by User Authorization either as this is also not a 100% solution.
Still looking at configuration level only to restrict changes in Pricing for outline agreements.

Quantity Proration in case of Price change for a Disconnected Installation

Hi Experts,
As we know if any installation is disconnected then interpolation or Extrapolation of MR will result to Zero consumption , Logically it is correct because after disconnection you can not have consumption .
Because of this if Price change happen in-between a billing period and same installation is disconnected then whole quantity is getting charge either on new price or in old price but normal Quantity proration is not happening .
Example : Bill from 15.04.2014 to 15.05.2014 (30 days)
Quantity = 2000
Price change on 01.05.2014
Normal Bills
Consumption Amount = 1000 * Old Price + 1000 * New Price
But in case of Disconnected installation
Consumption Amount= 2000* Old Price + 0 * New Price
But I wants Quantity Proration to take place in-case of Disconnected installation as well
(One solution I have is Z Variant for QUANTI14 )
Please Help if you know any user exit for MR interpolation or something like that.

The best and easiest solution for this is.
Inside FM "ISU_MRRESULT_DEMARCATE" we have one more FM "ISU_DB_V_EDISCOBJ_SELECT_LNR_H" where system checks whether this contract is disconnected or not if disconnected then it will update variable "y_disconnected" as "X" so at the end of "ISU_DB_V_EDISCOBJ_SELECT_LNR_H" FM SAP provided one enhancement space their based on your requirement you can Change "y_disconnected" value as initial so system will do proration as it is non-disconnected installation.

Price change at the time of service entry

Please help me out to find how to change the price of service item at the time of service entry sheet. I am working on 4.6C and getting the price field not editable after accepting the items from the PO.
Please respond with the prrocess how to change the prize at service entry level. also plz let me if any config is there.

Only if the price change indicator is set in the PO service item, the gross price
would be editable in the service entry sheets. Please check in ML90 the setting of the required field selection keys to it.
Please be informed that in case you use an unplanned scenario - with contract limits in the PO and selecting the services from the contract in ML81N - the indicator for allowing the price change in the SES must be selected on the limit tab in the PO item and also in the contract to the single service items. However you can not treat the contract service items separately - for example to get in one item the price changeable in another one not, this is unfortunately not possible ...

Contract Price Descriptions

Hello Experts! We are currently displaying materials and services in the same catalog. For services, as you may know, there can be multiple service line items for one contract item. This could then equate to multiple contracts applying to the Contract Price table for a particular service. The problem we have is that for a service, there can be multiple valid contracts. However, in the details, it only displays Contract ID, Line Number, Lower Bound and Price. We added a field called "Contract Short Text" that is populated from EKPO / TXZ01. We would like this displayed next to the associated price. However, we cannot figure out how to configure the UI to disply any fields other than the original four. Is there a way to customize this display? Also, this is for display only. We are not sending it to SRM thru the OCI.

the 4 fields for the price is fixed - u cant change / add any
on ur problem try these work around instead !
1. add this field desc on the item level instead inside the price
then it can be customized to be shown at the catalog UI thru the catalog configuration screen
challenge is to populate the value from EKPO / TXZ01
2. if populating is easier inside the price level - then concatenate this text with the contract ID
like 40000034/1 + contract from Donald
and then it would be displayed like that in the UI

Contract price is zero in the shopping cart for backend contract

Our environment
SRM5.5 SP07
Classic scenario
Backend ECC 5.0
Business process
Created a Contract in ECC5.0 for services and Materials (Goods) separately.
While crating the shopping cart for services or Goods, contract is picked and showed up in the Source of supply section of the shopping cart.
But Contract price shows "0". Where as in backend a price is maintained in the contract for the services/Goods.
Before orderin the shopping cart, the Business users want to see the contract price in the shopping cart when a contract is assigned.
Question
How to show up the backend contract price in the shopping cart when a backend contract is picked up in the Source of supply section.
Is it standard? If so, any SAP notes are to be applied?
Did any one come accross this scenario. Please throw some light on the above issue.

I already looked at this option. This will not work for my business case.
The BADI can only change the data in the backgroung when a SC is saved and the user will not be able to view the backend Contract price before ordering the Shopping cart.
The users want to see the contract price when a backend Contract is assigned in the Source of Supply section before ordering the Shopping cart.

When user creates SC and choose source of supply using contract, that time i want to read contract price from backend and populate that price into SC price field.
Is it possible?
I know that while creating PO it will take care. But i want that price in SC price field before order button pressed.

SRM Local Contracts - Price Conditions

Hi,
We are trying to extract the price conditions from the SRM Local Contract line items, with the Condition Type, Valid From, Valid To, Amount, Price Unit, Unit. This is to allow us to track the changes in contract prices.
If you have any experience of this, or know which SRM tables we need to be extracting from it would be greatly appreciated! We already have the Contract Header and Line information from CRMD_ORDERADM_H, CRMD_ORDERADM_I, BBP_PDHGP and BBP_PDIGP. Where are the conditions stored? And are there any extractors planned for this in the future? It would be very useful standard content.

Insert Billing Block if Contract is Changed

Dear Experts,
We have Rental Contract / Service Conract scenario where we create a Contract with BIlling Plan & create Invoice eveny month thru VF04.
We now have a requirement to insert Billing Block when the Conract is Created. This is easily achieved by inserting BIlling Block in VOV8 & removing activity no. 43 (Release) in Authorization object - V_VBAK_AAT
Now the requirement is to Insert Billing Block in the Contract if some key fields like Payment Terms, Prices are changed.
Can someone please suggest on how to insert this Billing Block if the Contract is changed.

See I think I can achieve it with applying User Exit (probably USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION) but the client is insisting on implementing Workflows.
Can anyone suggest whether Workflows would help me insert BIlling Block in Contract if the Contract is changed?
Also Please tell me which is a easier option to implement - Workflows or Userexit???

No notification received of price changes

I have never received any notification of price changes and to my surprise, they they are on my latest bill, including a charge for Caller Display that previously didn't cost me anything.
Now don't get me wrong, I understand the commercial aspect of rising charges but, on the flip side, I also understand the responsibility of the vendor to ENSURE that their customers are advised and not just to say "We've been making every effort to ensure that everyone got full notice of the price changes well in advance. We sent notification to you personally in October and November 2013 via Update magazine (included with your bill), or via emails (from [email protected]) or letters."
Update Magazine is not something I receive as I use e-billing, and I've never received an email from bt.athome with any price rise details. So in this instance BT have NOT ensured I have been kept informed. T's&C's Section 52 "We will also let you know about a price increase or a change to the terms and conditions that we believe is likely to cause you material disadvantage at least one month before it happens. We will do this in writing (which may include by letter, email, with your bill or by any other permitted method). We will let you know about other changes to prices and our terms and conditions with your next available bill or by an alternative method if this is simpler."
This clearly didn't happen. Is this a breach of contract? Quite simple really. YES
So Mr/Mrs/Ms BT, would you care to attend to this glaringly obvious breach of contract and deal with me directly or would you rather we did this elsewhere, perhaps a courtroom??

I had a lengthy, heated and quite extensive exchange with a Billing Manager today who finally agreed that I had not been notified if the email they apparently sent to my BT email account remains unread.
In light of this, BT have now reverted my most recent bill back to pre-increase prices and I have cancelled the caller display option that was previously free.
Thank you all for your comments. I managed to resolve this by good old fashioned logic and knowledge of criminal and contract law and finally, perseverance. Feel free to contact me when you need to complain next !!
