SRM Local Contracts - Price Conditions

Hi,
We are trying to extract the price conditions from the SRM Local Contract line items, with the Condition Type, Valid From, Valid To, Amount, Price Unit, Unit. This is to allow us to track the changes in contract prices.
If you have any experience of this, or know which SRM tables we need to be extracting from it would be greatly appreciated! We already have the Contract Header and Line information from CRMD_ORDERADM_H, CRMD_ORDERADM_I, BBP_PDHGP and BBP_PDIGP. Where are the conditions stored? And are there any extractors planned for this in the future? It would be very useful standard content.

SRM Local Contract Dumps when same material exists in multiple backend systems

Hi All,
We have a scenario of two backend systems connected to SRM system.
Materials are created with the same number in both the ECC systems and replicated to SRM system .
Materials are updated in COMM_PRODUCT in SRM with the respective logical system.
But when we creating a local contract by adding the same material system is throwing a dump .
system is not able to recognize the logical system for the material and material group linked.
Please let me us know if you have faced any such issue

SRM Local Contract Mass update

Hello,
We are in SRM 4.0 and working on local SRM Contract.
Now we want to update the validity in these contract, but as there is no way to perform mass change to these contract.
Is there any way we can update the contract validity period at the header level and also at the Item Condition level.

It is not advisable to update contract validity period as per the standard process.
BBP_PD_CTR_UPDATE - You try this FM to update contract but i am afraid since you are trying to update the validity period.

Contract price not taken in the SC

Hi,
We use contract management of the SRM EBP component.When creating SCs for internal Goods and service for a material on
local contract (PCTR) we found the price picked is the valuation price maintained in the material master rather than picking up from the source(contract).

Once the product price is imported from ECC to SRM and you maintain in product master (transaction COMMPR01), under conditions tab, the price details for the product in question, the SRM system will read locally the product price from this condition. This is the standard SRM system behaviour.
For example, the material xxxxxx was inserted in cart xxxxxxxx. This material which has a price condition maintained in COMMPR01. So, in this case, the price will be taken from the COMMPR01 and not from the local contract. The COMMPR01 condition overwrites the local contract price, as a price is maintained under the condition tab.

Prices conditions, minimum quantity and multiple

I am currently working on SRM 5.0 on which I am going to plug MDM 2.0.
I was wondering 2 things:
1. Is it possible, in standard SRM, to specify price conditions for full catalogs items (there is no Material Master managed in SRM). For example:
   - If someone orders a quantity of pens between 1 and 10, he will pay 1/pen
   - If someone orders a quantity of pens between 10 and 100, he will pay 0,8/pen
   etc
If it is not possible, do you know if we can do it in MDM?
2. Is it possible, in standard SRM, to force user to order a minimum quantity of items, and to force him to only orders multiples of this order quantity?
If it is not possible, do you know if we can do it in MDM?

2) Not standard. You can achieve this using BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.

Contract price not appearing in SRM PO

I have created a Contract in SRM of type Purchase contract. I have entered the per unit prices in the contract. When i create a Purchase order with reference to the contract, the contract price is not being picked up. Also the price is not being picked up in shopping cart.
If we use conditions for Price in contract the net price field in BBP_PD does not show the net price but displays the gross price. Need inputs to rectify the same.

Please check in transaction SXMB_MONI can found related information why it not transfer to SRM.
Also check the purchasing data of the PO.

Local contract in SRM

Hi ,
What is the functionality of Basic Contract check box in the local contract. I understand that only header data is maintained and there won't be any line items . then how this contract is useful in the procurement chain and in which scenarios these contracts are made use......

Hi Mani,
Here are the benefit of basic contracts :
- <u>conditions apply to a vendor whatever item you buy</u>
- can be used in contract hierarchy : often at the top level
- if the basic contract is assigned to a PO item, the contract conditions applies to the price calculation.
- you have contract reporting and released value.
-in the sourcing cockpit, a basic contract can be found in the source determination. (only if the PO or invoice vendor is the contract vendor).
Please be aware that you can't distribute basic contract to SAP backends and you can't negociate header contract in SAP bidding engine.

PO price condition tied to a contract

Hi,
I have a scenario wherein I have to put in a PO price condition like freight against a different vendor which is not an issue. However, the freight charges are actually covered by a contract and I would like to have the capability to link the PO freight condition against the said freight contract. This is to allow me to monitor contract spend and do other contract management/reporting activities. Has anyone have any ides on how this can be done? Am on version 4.6C. Thanks...

Hi Ramesh!
The currency rate should be used when converting the PB00 value from EUR currency to the local currency in tab Conditions at position level (the PO has as currency RON and the price condition PB00 has as currency EUR). The system will use this value (the converted value) also in GR as in IR.

Contract Prices are not changing when upload from PC to SRM

Hi all,
We have local contracts in SRM and downloaded this contracts to local PC. We changed price of this contracts and uploaded again into SRM, But the prices are not getting changed in SRM.
We downloaded in text format, opened in excel,changed prices and saved in text format.
did anyone faced this problem?

please refer OSS note 734060. You have to use the commands D=Delete, U=Change and I=Insert to modify the downloaded document.

Price condition determination for purchasing contract(ME31K)

Hi Experts,
     It is possible to apply price condition determination in purchasng contract(ME31K)? We had maintain the price condition for below keys: WBS/Material number and this condition record work well in purchase order. But I hope that this condition record is applied in pruchasing contract when we create contract by ME31K. Plz kindly give me a suggestion.
So I want to check the condition dtermination is whether fullfil my requirement. If we can not use the price condition determination to get the net price, then we only go for user-exit to get it.

Why not, in me31k, click on condition button on toolbar for item conditions and for header conditions, click on menu bar path HEADER>CONDITIONS and maintain your conditions accordingly.

Report for Service price conditions in contracts esp. validity periods

Hi all
I need a report that will show validity periods against price conditions for services in a contract. Can't find anything through the menus, SAP Help, Google.
Is there something as standard or will I need to cobble something together? The report needs to display conditions and validity periods by service / contract.
Any ideas?

Thanks for those, I had already found and tried a couple of those transaction. For some reason, those transactions aren't returning any results. I can get results if I branch into the 'Conditon info' screen, but unfortunately in this case the actual service numbers aren't quoted.

SRM MDM catalog with Negative contract price

Hi SRM / MDM Gurus,
I am facing a problem, when transferring contract data from SRM MDM catalog 3.0 to SRM 7.0 shopping cart process.
Scenario:
We have a u201Cnegativeu201D contract Price in MDM and the same I can able to see in the SRM MDM catalog. When trying to add that contract item to shopping cart the price is always positive. For example the SRM MDM catalog contract price is -100.00, when trying to add that item to shopping cart it is always 100.00.
Is there any configuration or OSS to resolve this issue?
Kindly also let me know is it possible pass negative value to shopping cart?

Price conditions available in contract (MM)

Hi,
I created a new price condition and it is not available in tha match code in contract (ME32K).
How can I customize which condition are available in the contract ? Does it depend on the category of the condition ???

Local Contracts in SRM

Hi,
I have the following question:
I'm trying to do a call off against a Local (Purchase) Contract but can't seem to get this to happen in the Classic scenario? I've tried to assign the contract line item via the Sourcing Cockpit but it still doesn't reflect the call off against the contract. I've been able to do this in the Extended Classic Scenario. Is this a limitation in the Classic scenario?
Currently on SRM 5.0, Classic scenario.
Any info appreciated.

local contract is applicable to only srm in extrended classic scenario.
but you can bring r/3 contracts in to srm by reports and the r/3 contracts will be available toy you and you can lock the backend contract at item level.

I'm on SRM 5.0 ECS.
My focus is the PO. I need the same price condition (with the same access sequence) of R/3 on SRM.
There is a copy functionality or a direct relation with the backend?

To replicate new pricing conditions from R/3 to EBP run the program BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS
Payment terms you can see in IMG:
Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Besic Settings -> Create Payment Conditions
made part of maitenance view BBPV_PTERM_LOCAL.
This view is only to maintain local payment terms, that means created in SRM, not in R/3.
If you replicate your payment terms from R/3 backend (using report BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS ), there are stored in table BBP_PAYTERM as being backend dependent (those seen in BBPV_PTERM_LOCAL are also stored in this table).
Concerning texts for those payment terms, there are in table BBP_PAYTERM_TEXT, for all languages in which they exist in R/3. Check in R/3 with view T052.
Be careful, i saw for SRM 5.0 that in order to have entries in BBP_PAYTERM_TEXT, corresponding data must exist in R/3 view T052U.
This means that, in R/3 transaction OBB8 (change view "Terms of Payment"), your payment term must have had field "Own explanation" filled-in at one moment in order to create row in T052U.
If not, T052U-TEXT1 is not updated, so payment term will not be created for the concerned language in SRM.
