Copy 2LIS_12_VCITM Extractor
Hi, I need to extract the Inbound Deliveries from Table LIKP. Is there a way to copy this extract and modify it so that it only extracts the Inbound Deliveries(Type EL)?
Has anyone ever done this before?
Kenneth,
I had the exact same problem with 2LIS_12_VCITM. It does not extract inbound deliveries. More specifically, after some diligent debugging, I discovered the section of code in the LIS setup table program RMCVNEUL that causes any deliveries configured (SPRO -> Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Deliveries -> Define Delivery Types) as Document Category '7' (Delivery/shipping notification) or 'g' (Rough Goods Receipt (only IS-Retail)) not to be written to the setup. This is in report RMCVNELV2, function call to 'MCV_STAFO_COMPUTE_DELIVERY', line "CHECK t_likp-vbtyp NA '7g'."
I even contacted SAP via a customer message in Support Portal, and they confirmed for me that indeed 2LIS_12_VCITM does not support these delivery types. Their only suggestion was to look into the GR-PO related DataSources, such as 2LIS_02_CGR, 2LIS_02_SCN, and 2LIS_02_SGR. Although these DataSources will not provide the exact fields you will need to extract from LIKP/LIPS, maybe you can use the fact that a delta is triggered on the PO (i.e. if you get a confirmation on the Purchase Order every time an Inbound Delivery is created) and extend these DataSources through the custom enhancement to include your delivery fields?
Hope this helps!
Sabrina.

Has any one copied standard extractors to a new name?
Hello all.
Is it possible to copy the standard extractors to a new name, but so they both use the same functionatility, but they can be enhanced in a different way and they keep in the delta queue two different deltas?
Thanks,
Greg.The general answer is no.
Are you looking for any specific extractor? -
Copy standard extractor to custom
hai Gurus,
I have a requirement to convert the standard extractor to custom because I need to add some fields. I went to rsa6 and clicked on enhance structure. Now I see 4 includes in that structure. I need to add fields in each include. Do I need to go to se11 for all the 4 includes to add the fields so those will show is automatically?.
Thanks for the advise.
Vijay.Hi,
I am continuing my explantion on First method :
<i>But when I replicated in BW I don't the new fileds.</i>
Have you completed the below process after enhancing the Extraction structure.
Got to RSA6,enter in to Edit screen of your Datasource and remove tick mark under Hide Field and field only for newly added fields . And then replicate he datasource into BIW.
If you still not getting visibility of the Newly added fields into BIW .You need to use a small program in R?3 to make these new fileds visible in BIW. For the code search with "<i>ROOSFILED</i>".
For the code Search with "CASE I_DATASOURCE"

How to copy exitsitng extracter into another new extracter?
Hello,
Please some one can tel me how to copy the existing extracter into another new extracter.
I have requirment as below
Currect me if i am wrong ,need to enhance the existing extracter and add some new fields, and need to include some masterdata filds also to it.
For master data i am going to do write routines at Transfermation so that no need to include in my exter for those filds to extracter.
Please some one guide me in this scenario.
ChrsHi,
you do not have to copy the extractor, you can enhance it with fields and fill them via enhancement coding --> rsa6.
If you want to copy it, you need to check what kind of extractor you have. Is it a function module or just a table extractor.
for fm: copy the function module via se37 and copy the extract structure via se11. Add your enhancements in the copied structures and coding. Create a new datasource with rso2.
for table extractor: create a view adding the additionally needed fields. create a new ds with rso2. Surely you need to add some coding in the relevant enhancement.

2LIS_12_VCITM populates the same Shipping Point and Receiving Plant
Hi Gurus,
We are using 2LIS_12_VCITM extractor which answers all delivery-related requirements. However when I checked the data in RSA3, Shipping Point and Receiving Plant are the same. So I checked some sample deliveries in table LIKP and it shows the correct shipping point and receiving plant (which are different to each other). I checked VL03N and table LIKP is giving the correct shipping points and receiving plants. Receiving Plant or LIKP-WERKS and Shipping Point or LIKP-VSTEL. My question is how this happened? Consequently, when I initialized in BW, shipping point and receiving plants are the same which should not be.
Thanks for all the help. The data for the 2LIS_12_VCITM is not just sourced by LIKP (Delivery Header), but by LIPS (Delivery Item) too.
Plant, in this extractor, is sourced by LIPS-WERKS instead of LIKP-WERKS. The receiving plant is LIPS-UMWRK. If you require this data, you will have to enhance the structure and create the User Exit code in tcode CMOD to extract that particular data. -
Check delta definition for standard R/3 extractor
Hi,
we are trying to create a copy of a standard extractor on R/3, it has a delta extraction associated. How can i find the 'Delta-Specific field' and 'Settings' for the definition of the standard extractor.
thanks in advance
JPThanks for the answer Roberto, we still have problems trying to copy the extractor structure, it seems that some settings are just used for the standard. Is there any way to copy the standar extractor ?
any tips will be helpfull, thanks.

Hi, i copy function to Z version, structure to z structure and function group to Z group.
Go to RSO2 and make new extractor Z using FM by parameters the Z Function and Z Structure, But when SAVE extractor get the error :
ZML_FI_AP4: TABLES-paramter E_T_DATA for extractor ZML_BWFID_GET_FIAP_ITEM is missing
Message no. RJ004
My Z function have in tables parameters : E_T_DTFIAP_3
I insert in code function for final area :
E_T_DATA] = E_T_DTFIAP_3[
i SET manually DELTA by Field : BUDAT
But in RSA3 get error :
Enter a date falling within the range 1990 - 2050
Message no. KE559
Any idea the problem or the best way for copy extractor 0FI_AP_4
Firts step i need copy extractor, in second step i need modify structure and field for consolidate the information.
Extractors 0FI_AP_6 & 0FI_AP_7 not have Key Field for execute SQL in BSEG.
Thank you.To be quite honest - why are you copying the extractor?
The extractor code has a load of timestmp checking in the extract module
BUDAT is not good enough as a delta mechanism because documents are changed in their lifecycle and you would never get the changes to the document - ie if the user blocks it for payment or changes the due date or even pays it (e the cleared date and item status changes) - you will never get these changes
Thats why the std xtractor does this..
select from bkpf where cpudt between timestamp from and to (new records)
select from bsik for records
select from bsak for records
select from bwfi_aedat where changedate between timestamp from and to (changed records)
select from bkpf for all records found
select from bsik for records
select from bsak for records
The reason for this is the change date in BKPF cant be trusted for all changes to AP records
Sure I can help - but firstly are you really sure you need to do this -
Delta not generated in case of Actual Goods Issue date change in R3
Hi Gurus
In our implementation in BI Production server we are using 2LIS_12_VCHDR and 2LIS_12_VCITM
extractors where in R3 Deliveries are created first and then the PGI is done. While in BI Extractions As the data comes first time without any issue but when the PGI is done the PGI date Tech Name (WADAT_IST) gets updated in the R3 system but in RSA 7 too this delta is not getting generated. can any one tell the probable reason.
We are stuck there Early help needed.
Thanks
ShivaniHi Shivani,
did you manage to solve your problem?
We are facing a similar issue:
- We also have both datasources active: 2LIS_12_VCITM and 2LIS_12_VCHDR
- In R/3 the following steps happened: A delivery was created and the record has issued to BW --> In PSA a request with status of good issue movement = A (correct!).
- Afterwards in R/3 the delivery has been picked and then, after 1 second, issued.
- This time the requests on the two datasource look different: in 2LIS_12_VCITM it seems like the good issue delta comes before the picking delta, so the result is that the delivery is read as still open (status of good issue movement = A Not correct!). In 2LIS_12_VCHDR, instead, is all correct: the last record in PSA refers to the good issue delta.
Change documents order in R/3 is correct, but it is not the same as the sequence in PSA of 2LIS_12_VCITM.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance

2LIS_11_VASTH does not capture delta although VBUK changes
I need the billing status field VBUK-FKSTK to get 'Non-invoiced' orders. The billing status is populated by delivery document number and not by sales order number. I have activated 2LIS_11_VASTH datasource and also did the initial set up in Dev environment. I replicated the datasource and have a DSO built on top to stage the data.
We have Sales Orders Item 2LIS_11_VAITM, Sales Orders Schedule Line 2LIS_11_VASCL and Deliveries Item 2LIS_12_VCITM extractors that are active and are staged in separate DSOs in BW
A few sales orders and their corresponding delivery documents were created. I scheduled the deltas through 'Job Control' in LBWE. When I extract data into BW I am able to see the sales orders and delivery documents created in ERP system.
I DO NOT see the new delivery documents flowing into BW through 2LIS_11_VASTH. But the source table VBUK has these delivery document numbers. I tried scheduling the deltas multiple times, but there is no change.
Any clues why the changes in VBUK do not show up in 2LIS_11_VASTH?
ThanksHi,
This datasource is for SD Order Header Status but it still contains few fields for delivery status as well.
Field in extract. struct. Description of field Table of origin Table field
LFGSK Overall delivery status of all items VBUK LFGSK
LFSTK Delivery status VBUK LFSTK
If you need further information from delivery, then you should go for 2LIS_11_V_SSL SD Sales: Order Delivery -
Problem with extractors after system copy
Hi Gurus!
After system copy I have problem with export data source from infocubes. Logical system name was converted with BDLS. When I check any export datasource (8*) with transaction RSA3 system tell me that no data records was found though data in fact table every infocube exist (in SE11). What can I do to solve this problem?
Thanx.Hi,
Of course I tried reactivate myself source system but problem is still here. When I check extractor (with RSA3) of any data source of any infoobject (master data) - everything is OK. When I check extractor for export data sorce - I have problem.
to Mickael: In modeling every thing is OK.
Thank you for all answers..... -
How to copy a generic extractor with function module into a new system?
Dear Gurus,
i would like to know how i can copy a gneric datasource with function module from one system to the target system.
Thank you
CheersHi Anesh,
thank you for replying.
Since the Datasource will have a new new in the new system, i will create a new one.
Create a generic datasource base on the table is not the problem.
My problem is how could i copy the FM in the new system?
If you can help me on that, it will be fine.

Problems Delta Extractor after Homogeneous Source System Copy
Hi,
We have R/3 system landscape HUD, HUQ, HUP. And we have BW system landscape BWD and BWP.
We connect BWD to HUQ and BWP to HUP.
We made a homogeneous system copy from HUP to HUQ.
We haven´t made any homogeneous system copy from BWP to BWD.
We have applied the next OSS note after source system copy:
325525 Copying and renaming systems in a BW environment
184322 Procedure after DB copy of BW source system
184754 Procedure after BW database copy.
But we have problems in our BW Development (BWD), and we have the next Dump "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" when we can change any delta infopacket, the next text are from Dump:
"MESSAGE_TYPE_X" C
"SAPLRSS1 " or "LRSS1F11 "
"RSM1_CHECK_FOR_DELTAUPD"
I think that the problem is about inconsistencies between RSSDLINIT/SEL tables in BW side and ROOSPRMSC/F tables in R/3 side.
Please could you tell how can i solve this Dump, because i can restrart and initial and delta packet for different Datasource and i can´t do anything.
Thanks in advanced,Hi,
We are upgrading our R/3 system from 4.7 to Ecc 6.
While copying database tables we are using Clinet Carrier tool which is considering only clinet dependent tables. Hence we are loosing our BW delta queue entries in RSA7 of ugraded system.
We found ROOSPRMSC and ROOSPRMSF tables and copying these 2 tables may resolve the issue and We copied and delta went fine. But we are not sure of only these are the tables to be considered.
Please let us know what are the relevent tables to be considered to make the Delta to work while copying Data base tables from one system to another.
Thanks in Advance

Best Extractors for "Open Order Reporting" at Header and Line Level
Hello Gurus,
I have a general question for you. For an Implementation in Sales and Distribution, we have to do some "Open Order Reporting".
Kindly advise, what are my options for choosing the BEST extractors ( from Application area 11, 12, 13) to track the "Open Order reporting".
You can also copy me at [email protected] for same. If this idea has already been discussed, kindly send me the mentioned link.
Thanks in advance.Hello BI project,
No I am still working on it and Problem is NOT solved. I took this project from the middle. Initial definition of Open Order was to report by tracking "Goods Movement Status" anything other then C as an Open Order. We were using 2LIS_11_VASCl and 2LIS_12_VCITM at that time. This process failed to track the "Partial Open Order"
It was soon realized that this definition is inadequate. Delivery Status in combination with Goods Movement Status should be accurately define an Open Order. I realized that if we install 0SD_C03 and supporting 7 exractors (Order: 2LIS_11_VAHDR, VAITM, V_ITM , Delivery : 2LIS_12_VCHDR, 2LIS_VCITM and Billing 2LIS_13_VDHDR, 2LIS_13_VDITM) - it will capture an Open Order more accurately. Also the design will integrate easily with future SCM Analytics more easily. I am still working on it and trying to install the Business Content.
I would like to get feedback and wisdom of someone who had done the same in past. I also want to get a feel, if it needed any additional customization of extractors etc.. If you could share any detail on this forum, it will be a help. You can also share the same on my e-mail: [email protected]
Your any help is appreciated.

What is the best way, while creating Function Module based extractor
Hi Friends,
I am Sreekanth.
I have created a Functio Module based Extractor,
To fetch data from COPA tables.
In this extracton 3 tables are getting involved.
1) CE3OP01 2) CE4OP01 and 3) CE1OP01.
Logic required is as follow:
1) get data from CE3OP01 and for all entries of this data set,
get data from CE4OP01 and CE1OP01 and finally send the data set to BW after few manupulations.
I have implemented the whole logic and its working fine in DEVELOPMENT box where data volume is less.
But the same code is timing out in Quality Box, due to huge volues of data.
Below I am copying the code that i am using . Any body can suggest me how to proceed further so that my code works with huge volumes of data.
Now I am getting the time out error while selection data from CE3IOP01 table itself.

Copy 0CO_OM_WBS_5 to get variances for Sale Order / Item
Hi ,
I copied the existing 0CO_OM_WBS_5 extractor and modified it with a logic to bring the Result Analysis numbers for Sales Orders. But when trying to create a normal generic datasource with the FM it is not allowing and giving me an error "E_T_DATA is not present in the the Function Module " The same is not available in standard datasource FM as well for 0CO_OM_WBS_5 .Do we need to maintain any table for mapping the datasource with FM and Extract Structure specific to the CO-OM Extractors.
Help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
VSKThanks.
