Copying delivery time from 1st  (unconfirmed) schedule line to confirmed SL

Hi Friends
Long time since I visited our forum.
During order creation or change,  by selecting all items and using 'Edit- fast change of- Delivery date' menu option one can set a delivery date and time for all the items. This info moves to schedule line 1 (for the requested delivery date) Shipping tab to Arrival time field. However if an item (s) is not confirmed for the requested date, then a second schedule line is created for the confirmed date based on user's choice in the ATP dialog window. Now the issue is that delivery time is not copied to the new SLs. And it will be cumbersome to enter it by going into the SL-Sales tab for multiple items via  their confirmed SLs.  Is there a config way ( I doubt it) to get the delivery time (only time) copied to the confirmed SLs from the first SL. Or user exit is the only route?  if so is it FORM USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP    in MV45AFZZ? Does this info stay once it comes via this user exit or do we need to do anything extra during Sales document save or prepare? Oh, by the way, we are set up for complete delivery and fixed date/qty checked.
Let me know ASAP. Thanks.

Hi
If I understand you, the problem is that EZEIT is initial, ie; VBEP-EZEIT = 0 (ie: it has the value on dynpro'00:00:00' depending of the format of your country). The problem for this userexit is that it's called in the end of subroutine VBEP_FUELLEN in the include FV45EFEP_VBEP_FUELLEN. If you read the ABAP coding you have the call to a subroutine before:
* Anlieferzeit ermitteln
      perform vbep-ezeit_ermitteln.
If you read it in include FV45EF0V_VBEP-EZEIT_ERMITTELN, you can read this coding:
  if vbep-ezeit = 0.
    if vbep-edatu ne *vbep-edatu or vbep-prgrs ne *vbep-prgrs or
       ( svbep-tabix = 0 and ( vbep-wmeng ne 0 or vbep-bmeng ne 0 ) ).
      perform anliefertermin_pruefen using vbep-prgrs
                                           vbep-edatu
                                           vbep-ezeit
                                           vbep-cmeng
                                           vbep-bmeng
                                           da_dialog
                                           da_edatu
                                           da_ezeit
                                           sy-subrc.
      if sy-subrc = 2.
        vbep-ezeit = da_ezeit.
      endif.
    endif.
  endif.
* Sekunden sind bei Lieferplänen für Zulieferer nicht relevant
check not vbak-abdis is initial and
        not vbep-ezeit+4(2) is initial.
  clear vbep-ezeit+4(2).
I think that you are looking for this, am I right? Surely, you knew it before to post this subject.
Alghough the purpose of userexit is populate fields from an append (fields ZZ) but it's possible to change others. I suggest to think about this, because I think that it's the same and you can know the checks to avoid inconsistencies. If you need something else, please let us know.
This is only a suggestion. I hope this helps you
Regards
Eduardo

  • Scheduling in Deliveries not copied from the correct schedule line of SO

    Hi All
I have availability check activated for sales orders.
In which for a given material it determined 2 schedule line .
    Schedule line 1. With 0 quantity -- e.g. delivery date 01.10.2010
    Schedule line 2. With 5 quanity -- e.g. delivery date 05.10.2010
The re-scheduling is de-activated for my delivery note (type).
When the delivery note was created, it had planned delivery date = 01.10.2010, and not 05.10.2010.
Why was the date in the delivery copied from the 1st schedule line instead of the 2nd schedule line which was the correct date based on material availability?
What should be done to ensure that the delivery copies the dates from the 2nd schedule line?
    Thanks for the answers!
    Regards
    Rajesh

It is solved. Copy routines did not consider multiple schedule lines.

  • Is planned delivery time is considered in scheduling agreement ????

    Hi experts
problem is that the schedule lines (for external procurement) generated from MRP are not taking the "" Planned delivery time into consideration"". System is only taking the G.R processing time.
I have mentioned the Planned delivery time in .
    1) Scheduling agreement for 1 day.
    2) In material master for one day.
    3) In info record 1 day.
e.g Suppose req date is 13.07.2008. MRP run date 4.07.2008.
    a) Planned delivery time = 1 day . B) G .R processing time = 3 days.
Now when i run the MRP on 4.07.2008.
Schedule line is generated on - 10.07.2008
Please Guide . How i can take care of that time which is requiered at vendor ends.
    Regards
    Rahul Bhardwaj

Go to OPPQ for that plant
Click on "External Procurement " tab and check if you have maintained any planned delivery time?
Tick indicator " Scheduling info record/agreement " (This will take Planned del time specified in scheduling info rec or agreement)

  • Delivery date determination in the schedule lines

    Hi,
I have a question on the delivery date determination in the schedule lines of the sales order. If the goods issue date in the schedule line has been determined as 17th Aug 2009, and the transit time is 3 days. What should be the delivery date that will be proposed? Should it be 10 + 3 equal 20th Aug 2009, or it will be 21st Aug, which is the the following day of 10 + 3 ? I simulated in the sales order and it gave me 21st, my understanding was it should be just 17 + 3 = 20th Aug.
hope anyone can shed some light on the above. TQ

    Hi ,
This is what F1 help says
Rounding-up period for delivery scheduling (in days)
The amount of time that the system automatically adds as a safety margin
to the estimated time required for processing a delivery.
    Use
The system adds the rounding-up margin to the time estimates for a
delivery, regardless of whether the system
o   Calculates the times from data in the master records, or
o   Simply uses the default times that apply to the relevant shipping
            point.
This is F1 Help of rounding days and not my words..... you can also check in OVXD t-code.

  • Planned Delivery time in case of Scheduling Agreement

    Hi All,
Does system consider the planned delivery time in case of Scheduling Agreement for Vendor like in normal Purchase order and requisition?
I am doing the MRP run, but system is taken planned delivery time into consideration. I have one material that is Inhouse produced material for plant X and Y Plant needs this material for further making of a finished goods.
Y plant have scheduling agreement for STO from plant X. After MRP Run required Delivery date in plant X for Material is same as plant Y. but from Plant X to Y, it take 4 days to reach. So Ideally in Plant X this delivery date should be less than 4 days as plant Y.
Please look into the issue and reply if you have some answers.
    Thanks
    Pavan

Hope you have maintained different Planned Delivery times in plant X and Plant Y as per your requirement. For procurement in Plant Y the system would consider the planned delievry time maintained in Plant Y. If you want in-house production time to be considered with Basis date sheduling during MRP run in PLant X then enter the in-house production time approprietely. Else if ou want to consider the exact routing times then consider Lead time scheduling in plant X.
If the above are maintained properly then you should get the desired result.

  • Planned Delivery Time from Material Master instead of PIRs

    Hi SAP Gurus,
Do you know if there is a way to have MRP look at the Planned Delivery Time from the Material Master (MRP 2 tab) instead of the PIR?
We would like to create global PIRs with a PDT of 1 and have the Material Master PDT set to a different number (example 5).  So when MRP runs it will read 5 instead of 1.
    Any additional information is appreciated.
    Thank you
    -nic

    Hi Nicholas,
In Standard SAP will consider Planned delivery time maintained in Inforecord and than time maintained in Material master. Inforecord has higher priority than material master. When a requisition is manually created, the Planned Delivery date will always be taken from the material master.
For MRP you can make setting OMDT for your plant or MRP group to determine planned delivery time.
Deactive the flag 'Scheduling according to purchasing info record or agreement' in Customizing (Plant or MRP group). and test the same.

  • Sales Order Credit Status Block with Schedule Line ATP Confirmed Quantity

I would like to keep the Credit Status Block on a Sales Order when it is created and over the credit limit and at the same time be able to Confirm the Order Quantity (if inventory is available) on the Schedule Line.  Has anyone done this?  I'm using ECC 5.0
In the IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Basis Functions --> Credit Management/Risk Management --> Credit Management --> Define Automatic Credit Control --> If I remove the Status/Block indicator the schedule line does confirm the sales order quantity but the sales order is not blocked and a delivery can be created.
    Thanks.
    Donna

    Hello Donna,
I think I solved your problem.
There are two ways to block the sales order - one is to not confirm the Schedule line i.e. block delivery... block further action that can be taken. The second is to not let the person save the sales order.
Another option is to get Just a warning message, that the credit limit has been exceeded, but able to save the sales order with a confirmed schedule line.
The setting will be in OVA8.
For the Document Value you make the setting C or A. and make sure the block is not set.
Don't worry about the Open order or open delivery unless you want the system to perform a credit check considering the orders that are already existent. Same with open delivery. It will take into account all the cost of the orders that are open for delivery.
    Now here some options:
Either consider a 'warning' by the system good enough and still be able to confirm the schedule line.
(ii) Put in a Delivery Block in the Sales Document Types, in the Shipping tab. That way, you will be able to save the sales doc. but not be able to deliver it.
(iii) Put a Billing Block in the Sales Doc type, in the Billing tab. You will be able to deliver but not bill.
(iv) Create a new routine (with the help of an ABAP guy) and place it in the auto credit check, 'Reaction' field where it will place a Delivery Block.
Do let me know what your thoughts are and what you decided to do.
    Thanks
    Noel

  • Order entry cut off time to avoide same day line itme confirmation

    Hello Friends,
We have a very unique requirement as below u2013
Business want SAP System to automatically determine the Order entry cut off time to avoid same day line item confirmation. I.e. If an order is entered after a specific time in a day (For example if order is entered after 2 PM local time) system should not confirm that order on the same day. In such cases system should confirm the schedule line for that line item on the next day.
Requesting you kindly guide us if there is something we can do in SAP to achieve this.
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Amol Wadekar.

    Hi,
check the Rounding Work days in the shipping point customizing.
"Rounding-up period for delivery scheduling (in days)
The amount of time that the system automatically adds as a safety margin to the estimated time required for processing a delivery."

  • Credit Status "Not allowed" but schedule line still confirmed

I have a little issue. I know is sth from configuration, but I don't remember where it is.
When automatic credit check is performed, and a sales order goes to "Credit Not allowed" I would like the position of the order remains unconfirmed, in order to leave the stock free for other orders.
Now the system leave the schedule lines created, confirmed, even when credit stock is "not allowed". Could sb help on this?
    Regards

    Hi Eduardo Vartorelli
For the Sales Order to stop the flow of requirements to MRP You have to set the status in the requirement.
Go to T code OVB8 and then set what is your requirement in the routine.
Currently the routine checks only for credit status in VBUK - CMGST if the status is B then it will not transfer the requirements to the MRP.
I am not sure what is the Credit status of your document in the VBUK. If its not "B" and still you want to hold the requirements then you can modify the routine to handle your new requirement.
If the status is B and then the requirements are trasnfering then you need to put a Break point in the rouitne and check if the routine is actually getting called or not.
    The Program Name is LV07A101.
    Thanks & Regards
    Srinivas.

  • How system updating the delivery dates in sale order schedule line

    Hello
i created a sales order with 2 line items. For the first line item the confirmed delivery date in the schedule line is 06.02.2012 and for the second line item the confirmed delivery date in the schedule line is 14.02.2012 . Both the line items are third party items and the PR created against the line items in the sales order .
We created the PO with reference to the PR of the SO and we find there are different delivery dates coming in the PO document for the 2 line items . For the first line item the delivery date is coming as 14.11.2011 and for the second line item in the PO , the delivery date coming as 11.11.2011 . Firstly we are not understanding from where the delivery dates are picking in the PO.
Secondly , once we saved the Purchase order and once we come back to the sales order , the schedule line dates are getting changed automatically in the sales order . For the first line item in the sales order the delivery date is changing to 22.11.2011 and for the second line item in the sales order the delivery date is changing to 22.11.2011.
Now my question , is from where the delivery dates are updating in the Purchase order and once we save the purchase order how the delivery dates in the schedule line are getting changed .

Now my question , is from where the delivery dates are updating in the Purchase order and once we save the purchase order how the delivery dates in the schedule line are getting changed .
For third party processing, the delivery dates are updated in the purchase order based on the settings in the field Planned delivery time in the MRP2 view of the material master(defined in purchase info record in t.code ME11/ME12) and purchasing processing time defined in t.code OMEW. This means, since the date of PO created, it will take the days mentioned in the planned delivery time field and purchasing processing times to determine the delivery date, which will be copied into the sales order as delivery date. In your case, the purchase order delivery date is not copied into the sales order, hence you may need to check OSS note. How the PO is handled? Any confirmation control functionality is used?

  • Copy Delivery Address from SO to PR

In our third party shipment process for legal reasons we have to "receive" the material in our plant althought the material should be ship directly to customer from supplier, so we set up an individual purchase process.
But one thing its missing its that the purchase requisition genereted does not copy the sales order delivery address.
I have tried in VOV6 to change item category to third party but it wont allow it to be relevant for delivery.
I went to: spro -->mm -->purchasing >pur req>texts for purchase requisition , but I am kind of lost.
If someone has an idea where this can be changed I will appreciate it.
    Thank You,
    Carlos

Carlos, ensure that in your sales document that the schedule line category is properly set up.  Go to this SPRO path:
IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Schedule Lines --> Define Schedule Line Categories
Ensure the schedule line category has the order type NB - Purchase Requisition; and incompletion procedure of 31.
Also make sure that the schedule line category is assigned to the item category you're using in your sales order.  Hope this helps you out!
Also check out this link:  [http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPLO/Fielddescriptionofscheduleline+category] for more information on the schedule line category.

  • Delivery date in weekends in schedule line

    Hi friends
we are using 7 days working factory calendar for a plant. But we do not want to have the delivery date on saturdays and sundays. (Delivery date in schedule lines). I used one Z lot size to refer the planning calendar(having monday to friday working).
But the solution is not feasible as we are using different lot sizes like EX,MB etc.,
Please let me know if you have any solution on this.
    Regards
    Ranga

    Hi Ranganathan,
You create one more calendar with all the holiday same but only with saturday and sunday as holiday. Assign that calendar in SPRO -> Enterprise structure->Definition-> Sales and Distribution-> Define copy and delete, check sales organisation. in that assign in the factory calender in the sales org calendar.
Try this if this is Ok reward the points.
