Correct SLD entries for XI components (different db and app host)
We have 3 XI systems. At two systems application server and db server are at the same host. So when you look at the sld you can see all XI componets of one system on the same host.
Integration Repository on <sid><host>
Integration Directory on <sid><host>
Integration Server on <host>
RWB on <sid><host>
Adapter Engine on <sid><host>
But at our third system the application server and the db server are not at the same host. And so the sld entries look like this:

Integration Server on <app_host>
RWB on <sid><db_host>
Adapter Engine on <sid><db_host>
Is this correct? I would expect all XI components at the app_host.

I've been investigating the same thing and do not know the answer.
All I've found is that it looks like the DBhost name is the default. Not sure if this impacts anything.
From the "I" button for the field in the SLD:
The name of the computer system that is most important for the system. By convention, the database host name is used. This property is a part of the compound name of class SAP_BCSystem. By default, host names in SLD are written lower case without any network domain

I got the above error while trying to insert a record into the table SDO_GEOM_METADATA. However, when querying this table I did find any duplicate table_name, column_name pair that match with the error.
Here are the steps that I worked on:
1. Add a geometry column into an existing table.

2. Register the new column into mdsys

The situation is we have 2 tables (GEO_MAP, and GEO_REF) that have spatial columns. Everything worked fine until when one of the queries that searched through the table GEO_MAP ran so slow, we decided to rebuild the related spatial index by dropping and recreating it. However, after I dropped it I could not recreated. Keep getting the error:

I've now been having this problem for months. It just freezes up and either shows me the dumb color wheel or doesn't show me anything sometimes and i just cant do anything for about 20-60 seconds. i can't exposae or anything. Also while working on a power point presentation it froze 4 different times for good and i had to do a hard restart just to get it working again. i lost my work and had to keep starting over. it was so annoying. it seems most of the time it does it, it is while i'm in Excel, Outlook, or Powerpoint. so perhaps it has something to do with my microsoft office. but i have the newest version and all the updates and everything. and i believe its happened when doing other tasks too. So i just can't figure it out.
A few Mac friends suggested i free up some space on my hard drive and upgrade my RAM. So i did. i put all my videos and photos on an external harddrive and deleted them all on my computer. i also upgraded to 8 gigs of RAM.
And honestly i can't even tell a difference after doing both of these.
HELP! PLEASE HELP! I'M ABOUT TO GO CRAZY. And having all the non Mac believers telling me it cause i have a Mac even drives me more nuts..

it froze a few times over the last hour and half while browsing the internet.
and also while working in excel it all of the sudden shut down excel and said. "Excel has encountered and problem and needs to shut down, you may lose the work you were on." or something like that. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME TOO. Excel, outlook and powerpoint frequently just shut down on me out of now where. I've bolded and underlined when this happened.

I have a Nexus 7000 with many vlan interfaces with multiple vrf, I would like to know if my netflow analyzer only connected to one vrf, can I use flexible netflow on the Nexus 7000 to monitor those vlan interfaces with multiple vrf and export them to my netflow analyzer, so that I can see all flow from different vrfs on my netflow analyzer?

If you are using a DSL connection, the SRP527/547 models may be an alternative. These models support the RFC 1483 Bridges EOA Please note the SRP547 should be 10/100/1000. Also note the SRP521/541 are Fast Ethernet units and they do differ from the SRP527/547. The main selling point of these devices are the FXS/FXO ports. So this may also be a bit of an "unfocused" solution. But it's worth throwing the idea out there!

On my IMac using Yosemite 10, I cannot find any of my passwords. When I enter information that is mine, I see it's not valid. Cannot seem to get help anywhere. I don't know my keychain password so cannot find my lost passwords. Any help you all can give me will be so very appreciated. Where did you seek help from? If your iMac is still under warranty and/or you have AppleCare, you can call Apple tech support. Since you have an iMac, a tech will come to your home to troubleshoot if it cannot be done over the phone.
I don't know my keychain password so cannot find my lost passwords.
Finder>Go>Utilities>Keychain Access.app. You do not need a password.

What I would like to know is how do I get to keep my stuff different from my husbands, there are things that we both like and things that we don't. I dont want him to delete off my old IPOD if it means i have to keep installing again. I dont want to set up a new account because we want to share music and videosYou'll notice that each iPad is identified by name. See image below. Highlight the appropriate iPad and configure iTunes the way that you wish. The second image below is an example for apps. You'll see something similar for movies, TV shows, etc.
The only minor problem is app updating. IF you choose to do it from inside iTunes, it's a minor nuisance. Each app is permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was originally used to obtain it. If you're logged in to the wrong ID, you'll need to log out and back in again. On the bright side, if you update from the iPad, all you need is the password for the correct ID. The iPad takes care of the rest.
Mail is a special case. I use Mac Mail and the setup is pretty much automatic. What are you using? -

i have been using an ipad for songs, apps, etc, i now am migrating to a mac book, my question is, i have been using my wifes apple id for all of our purchases, sharing, etc. now that i have a laptop, i am wondering, why should i get my own user id or why would i not just continue on using our common id?
she worries about us taking up too much space in the cloud, which i am not using yet but will learni dont know why you would make a separate account either if you have been getting on fine before, unless you need to talk to your wife with iMessage or something

Double entry for Photoshop CC 2014 in Edit In Menu
In trying to correct a problem with Lightroom trying to find Photoshop CC 2014 when I clicked on it in the Edit In menu I ended up with two entries for Photoshop CC 2014. And when I click on either one it wants to open as either a PSD or TIFF file rather than than a raw file with the LR adjustments. I have tried reinstalling both Photoshop and LR without any success in correcting the problem. What are my next steps?
Have you installed Camera Raw 8.7? If you have Camera Raw 8.7 and Lightroom 5.7 then you shouldn't get that message asking you to create a copy. But in either case, once the editing in Photoshop is completed a TIF or PSD file must be created. Whichever file type is saved depends on your preference settings. Photoshop is not capable of editing or saving raw image data. By the time the image has been opened in Photoshop is no longer raw image data and must be saved in a different file format.

ITunes Home Sharing for video on different account
My husband has a separate iTunes account from mine, however I run our media servers at home where I have a library of movies running through iTunes which we view via Apple TV and other devices.
He has his iPad set to - Settings/Videos/HomeSharing/His-Apple_ID
The question is - if I CHANGE THIS to - Settings/Videos/HomeSharing/MY-Apple_ID
(so he can view my iTunes library)
Does this mess up his usage/connection to his iTunes account - in any other area of the iPad?
In other words - can the Home Sharing Apple ID be different than one's personal Apple ID?
It would actually be nice if we were allowed to keep multiple accounts to connect to for this for moving to different locations and sharing...A happy ending?
Here's what I did.
On the Mac Mini.....
As a safe guard I duplicated the Preference folder in my user library and moved it to the desktop. Then from the original Preferences Folder I moved all the com.apple.xxx plists to the trash and restarted.
No fix
I then moved the rest of the contents of the Preference Folder (the system won't allow trashing the actual folder) to the trash and restarted.
Following that I set up Home Sharing again on both the iMac and the Mac Mini and BINGO.
It must have been a non apple preference of some sort causing the odd behaviour. Who knows which or what.
Note that I did not have to move or get rid of any preferences on the iMac!
Now to try to get the Mac Mini (preferences) back to looking and acting as I want - a reasonably big job but probably worth the effort in the end. -

Here are the steps. Make sure you do them when there is no posting going on.
1) Using transaction SA38, execute program RMBWV311. This will send the data from the extraction queue to delta queue for application 11.
2) Run your 2lis_11_***** info packages to bring the delta records into BW. Make sure to run these info packages twice because the delta is cleared on R/3 only if you run them twice. It is designed this way to accomodate the delta repetition functionality.
Just to make sure, verify that you don't see any data in RSA7, LBWQ and if you use RSA3, the system should not extract any data.
You should be able to change the extract structure now.

browsershots.org is a good site where you can test your pages in most any browser ever invented. Its somewhat slow, depending on how many browsers you want to test, but I like it.
