we are using ECC6 EHP4 version. Maintenance Cost Key Figures in MCI3 and MCI8 Reports are not reflected the cost as given in different value categories in work orders. I have configrured the PMIS "Assign Value Categories to Maintenance Cost Key Figures" and Valuation Cateogies are also rightly configured. is it some bug or am I missing some thing. Please help

    Thanks for your help.
I checked transaction code OMOS. all infor structure are on monthly update which is fair. however, I rebuilt the info structure through folllowing navigation path and it worked.
believe ur info structure S070-MCI7 is not getting update correctly , suggest u to run a statistical update via

    Hi Atif,
    Did the data load succesfully?

  • Populate key figure attributes values for material & location in inventory

    Hi all,
We have a Inventory Infocube. the dimensions of the inventory infocube contains material, location and material-location and also the time dimension with calday, week and month. The different key figures in the infocube are Unrestricted Stock Balances, Unrestricted Stock Receipts, Unrestricted Stock Issues, QI Stock Balances, QI Stock Issues, QI Stock Reciepts, Blocked Stock Balances, Blocked Stock Receipts, Blocked Stock Issues. The following is the definition for master data objects
Material Master - ATTRIBUTES :- Business Unit, Manufacturing Plant, Base to Case Conversion Factor(key figure attribute)
Location Master - ATTRIBUTES:- City, State, Country, Location Type
Material Location master - ATTRIBUTES:- Material, Location, MRP Controller, Source Location, Standard Cost(key figure attribute)
We have a report with material, location, calender day and with all the stock balances keyfigures. also in the report we have the key figure attributes of material master and material location (like standard cost and base to case conversion). We have defined a formula variable on these attribute key figures with replacement path.
The problem is none of the records are getting populated with the standard cost and base to case conversion.
We are NOT doing any conversion at the report level.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Vijay

    There could be few possibility:
    1. The variable you are inputting for standard cost and base to case conversion may not have any values in the master data.
    2. See the master data table for Material and location. Note down those materails and location for which there are values for standard cost and base to case conversion. Now, run the reports for these materials
    and location.
Btw, have made standard cost and base to case conversion as nav attributes. Plz make them nav attributes and see.
    Thanks...

  • Key figures in PM Orders

    Dear Experts,
Can you please tell me what is the significant of u201CKey figuresu201D in Maintenance order cost Tab. How the same is distinct from value categories and activity type.
How can you make use of this key figures while generating in maintenance report.
    AR

    Hi,
Value Category - generally value category groups several cost element account together.
    For example,
Cost elements A451xx (Mech. Services) and A452xx (Facility Services), etc may be grouped into a Value Category called INTERNAL Services.
Cost element A4652xx (Ext. Mech Consultant) and A4651xx (Ext. Facility Consultant ), etc, may be grouped into a Value Category called EXTERNAL Services
Both Value Categories INTERNAL and EXTERNAL services can be aggregiated into a PM Cost Key Figure called SERVICES.
Which value categories are grouped together under which key figure depends on your chart of accounts.
To answer your question, the Key Figure gives you an aggregiate actual value of several value categories.
    Example
In a work order, the following work has been carried out
$500 of Mech Services, $500 of Facility Service, $500 of Ext Mech. and $500 of Ext Facilit consultant.
The Actual value for Value Category INTERNAL service = $1000 and Value Category EXTERNAL services = $1000.
Actual Cost of Key Figure SERVICES would be $2,000 (+ actual cost of other value categories assigned to this Key Figure.)
I am not sure if there is PM report where the Key Figure field is displayed (or can be used as filter). In IW38, you can display the total Actual Cost, but not the details of the Key Figure.
Try in the PM WO Cost Tab, you should be able to display the cost details if you click "Report Planned/actual" or "Report budget/commts" button.

  • Service Cost in MCI4 report

    Hi PM/CO Gurus,
We are using ECC 5.0 and in MCI4 report (planner Group Analysis), Total Planned Cost, Total Actual Cost field contains data. But the report doesn't shows Service Cost, even though field is available. We are using Control Key PM03.
What need to be done for displaying the service cost in that field?
Your valuable updates are requested in this regard.
    Thanks in advance,
    Vinod

    Hi Unmesh,
Thanks for your update. It is working. Can you please confirm one more thing in this regard? It is providing the updated cost from the day of assigning the Value categories to the Cost Key Figures. How I can update the historical cost? What is the process/procedure involved. Whether there is any standard SAP procedure for this.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Regarding  currency translation for Display attribute(key figure)

    Hi Gurus,
How can i do currency conversion for  MATERIAL COST(key figure) ,which is  Display Attribute  of MATERIAL...
    thanks advancely.......
    CHANDRA

    Hi,
You can create the currency conversion type in the T code RSCURR.
    Here are the steps...
    1.     Transaction for creating currency translation type is RSCURR
    2.     Choose the Exchange rate, Source currency, Target Currency and the Time reference in the respective tabs.
    3.     In the query definition choose the Currency Conversion Key in the properties of the Key-figure.

  • Is it possible to format a column to represent more than one key figure?

Is it possible to have a column called "Forecast" and then position both revenue and cost key figures in the column in BEx?
    For example:
    type      forecast   actual
    revenue  90,000    95,000
    costs     80,000    85,000

    hi,
if you use structure you cannot have key figures in the column

  • Calculating Key Figure on Fly in BPS Layout ??

Can some body tell me ho to calculate Unit Cost on BPS Layout?
Ps: I don’t have Unit Cost Key Figure because I ma not using it anywhere else, It is just to display in the layout.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
In the third screen of your layout, goto Tools -> macro -> SAPAfterDataPut -> Edit.
This will take you to VB editor where you can write the below macro.
Dim Data_row As Integer, UnitCost As Integer, CostOfSales As Integer, SalesQty As Integer
Data_row = 3 (say your data starts from 3rd row.)
UnitCost = 6 (Unit Cost Column number)
    CostOfSales = 4(CostOfSales Column Number)
SalesQty = 5 (Sales quantity column number)
    DoWhile IsEmpty(Cells(Data_Row,1).Value) = False
    Cells(data_row,UnitCost).value = Cells(data_row,CostOfSales).Value / Cells(data_row,SalesQty).value
    Data_row = Data_row + 1
    Loop
After writing this macro, in the excel sheet, you can see one icon which says MS Excel Settings. There tick the VBA macro SAPAfterDatePut so that this macro runs automatically whenever you execute the layout.
    Hope this is clear.

  • Key figures in Cost elemnt based report

    Dear All,
I have created a Cost Element based Report for the Project using report painter. In this same report, I want to pull a key figure(the key figure is 'remaining forecast planned costs") which is coming from cost forecasting report (Report 12CTC1 from transaction CJE0).
The issue is this 'key figure' is not available for report made in report group 6P3(report group for cost element based report). Is there anyway I can pull this particular key figure in my report.
    Thanks in advance !
    Regards,

Also if you're using HR data, the employee data is time dependent, so that for each employee number there are any number of records. This may be causing the aggregate reporting condition that you mentioned. In BW it's important to recognize that the master data also can play a role in how many records are returned. The infoprovider is not the only source of additional records. For example:
Employee has three records in the time range.
    Salary infoprovider has only one.
Results will contain THREE records, one for each employee record, all with the same salary record. On an aggregate basis, the salary results will be multiplied by three.
Time dependent master data can be a source of much confusion. For some HR reporting, I have created a 'most current' employee master data record that is not time dependent, and is loaded daily. I then use that for data models such as salary or other separate infoproviders.

  • RW report on CCSS table: for some cost element key figure SWTG empty

    Dears.
Could you kindly help to solve strange issue with report in Report Painter?
I have 2 basic key figure in report
SWTG - Total cost in transaction currency
SWOG - Total cost in object currency
In report some lines have the only SWOG figures and SWTG field empty.
It looks strange, because all costs are posted similarly in the same transaction (via cash journal FBCJ) and they all have postings in accounting and controlling.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,
    Roman.

I understand the reason - if there were postings in different currencies, the column "Total cost in transaction currency" is shown as undeterminable values. It's OK.
But the problem is - if it is done even once, this "spoils" cost element and in "normal" period with one currency postings it will anyway show crosses as undeterminable values.
    How to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Roman.

  • Reporting Agent - Print Layout - Issue in Displaying Key Figures in Rows

    Hi,
We have issue while printing reports using Reporting Agent. As part of Query Definition we have Structure of key figures in Rows. But while creating Reporting Agent , in Print Layout option – Under Table – Rows – we are not able to drag Structure of key fig.
What could be the solution to this issue. How can we use key figures in rows?
    Thanks in advance.
    Samir

    Hi,
putting product in the rows will slove the issues as the unit cost  depends upon the  prdoduct and therefore it will uniquely identify each of the material and then it will get multiplies with the qty and therefore you will get the correct result.
this kind of issue you will always face when you are going to multiply cost with the Qty and as the cost differ with the individual material.
Also putting material into the rows will cause the no. of rows to increase as all the materials will show up in the individual rows for the particular month.
Also you can make a claculated key fgure for the multiplication and use before aggregation.
But for that your both the key figures should be in the same cube i.e. in the same rows or the before aggregation will not work you will not even get an option of before aggregation in the CKF if the key figures belong to two different cubes.
Since your qty and cost are coming from two different cubes before aggreagtion will not work here.
And if you do before aggregation then you report will become quite slow as it will do all the multiplication anf then will bring the result.
So it depends on your requirement and your design how to proceed.
    Hope it helps
    Thanks

  • Calculate key figures totals in report based in multiprovider doesn't work.

    Hi dear Friends:
We have a requirement where the data are in 2 different cubes, the layout defined is
    selections parameters :
    Zsales_offices
    0calweek
                   Columns.
                   0calweek  KFCalc1..............................KFcalc2.....................etc.
                   In rows.
01.2007   Qty on demand X unit cost.    sum of all qty's prods
                   02.2007
                   03.2007
                   04.2007
the structure in cube z1mis contain:
    Zsales_offices,product,0calweeek,unit cost.
the Second cube structure zdemand contain:
    Zsales_office, product,0calweek,qty on demand
    Our problem is:
    1. As you can see we need keep into KFcalc1 the product from multiply Qty on demand * unit cost but when the result is displaying the result is a wrong amount and the reason is because didn't´t exist a characteristic product in the layout, without this characteristic the amount for qty on demand and unit cost are summarized and multiplying with these amounts.
We are trying to find a solution vía restricted key figures, calculating before aggregation, but it's not woks.
I hope that you can give one suggestion.
    Regards.

  • Report painter- Characteristic can not be maintained with key figures

We have added new characteristic ZZFIELD1 in CCSS report sructure for reporting and selected it in gen. selection list. While running report painter report, it gives an error that ZZFIELD1 cannot be combined with key figures.
Any help to figure out what step is missing will be highly appreciated.
This is a PS report painter report using PS database profile in the selection of parameters for the report

    The fields we have added is ZZFIELD1 ZZFIELD2 in the PRPS table. And the key figures used in the report is;
AWKG - variance/accrual costs (basic key figure) with characteristic version 0, value type 32, fiscal year and period
SWKG - cost (basic key figure) with characteristic version 0, value type 4, fiscal year and period.
SMEG - quantity (basic key figure) with characteristic version 0, value type 4, fiscal year and period.
