item unit price cost
img0001 10 25

item unit price cost
img0001 10 20
is it a intended functionality ? if so can some explain me?
Regards
sudharshan

Hi Sudharshan,
Yes! This looks to be a intended functionality & let me try my best to explain from a price point of view & kindly correct me if my views are wrong.
Case 1: Return Price > Purchased Price : Seller/Manufacturer will be at loss if this is to be considered.
1. Book sales order on 01-May-09 for 10 qty of item X whose price is 10, Total 10 X 10 = 100.
2. Update the price of the item on 03-May-09 to 15.
3. Now, make return of the 10 qty referring to the original sales order on 05-May-09. Price will be pulled/retained as 10 only & not 15. If 15 is to be considered, then after recieving the goods, the manufacturer will have to pay totally 150 which will be a loss to him.
Case 2: Return Price < Purchased Price : Buyer/Customer will be at loss (which customer will not agree upon) if this is to be considered.
1. Book sales order on 01-May-09 for 10 qty of item X whose price is 10, Total 10 X 10 = 100.
2. Update the price of the item on 03-May-09 to 5
3. Now, make return of the 10 qty referring to the original sales order on 05-May-09. Price will be pulled/retained as 10 only & not 5. If 5 is to be considered, then after recieving the goods, the manufacturer have to pay totally 50 which will be a loss to customer for which he will not agree too.
This is the reason why the same selling price of an item is pulled from the Original Sales order to the Return Sales Order. Even though the price of an item have been revised, the price that is present in the original sales order will be considered in the return sales order.
However, the above scenarios may differ from business to business & based on the customer agreed terms too.

Hemanth

  • How much would shipping & handeling cost to RMA more than 6 months?

    Hi,
My iPod Shuffle has been acting crazy and crashing my PC everytime i connect it.
It has been more than 6 months since i have purchased it, and to RMA it says i will be charged shipping and handeling.
How much will i be charged exactly in CAD??
    Thanks.

    Thats Canadian dollars, right?
And how does it work, they send you a new one... and you give the person dropping it off the old one. And thats it?
Also i dont recieve or include the accessories, right?

  • P55-GD65 and Acrylux Wireless

I currently having trouble with a P55-GD65 and Acrylux Wireless KB009W-B keyboard with a particular port. I sent the keyboard for RMA already and I have a replacement. Before the keyboard RMA, I would have random shut down and sleep with this particular port along with intermittent connectivity. Now, I have repeated looped keystrokes and disconnects issues.
    It's this port:
I'll try using another a port but what is different with this one? Underpowered?
    BIOS 1.8
    Windows 7 Pro x64
    Drivers are current

Bad port, if you don't really need it it's probably not worth the cost for RMA shipping. Simply block it off with a piece of tape and let it be. Choice is yours whether to RMA or let it be. Could simply be what is called a 'cold solder joint' where the port terminals attach to MB.

  • BIOS CHIP NOT SOCKETED!!!???

ARE THEY CRAZY !! A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO MY BUDDY BOUGHT A 875FIS2R AND IT HAS A SOCKETED BIOS ROM ON AUG 20TH I RECEIVED MY GORGEOUS 875FIS2R.  UPON OPENING THE BOX, THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS WHAT SEEMS TO BE A BIOS CHIP THAT IS PERMANENT.  I'VE ALREADY FLASHED MY BIOS TO VER. 1.6 USING LIVE MONITOR WITHOUT A PROBLEM, THEN I COME TO THESE THREADS AND OH MY GOD ALL THE NIGHTMARES WITH BIOS FLASHING AND THE RESULTING DEAD BOARDS.  YOU WOULD THINK MSI WOULD RATHER HAVE A BUNCH OF CHIPS RMA'D INSTEAD OF WHOLE BOARDS.  I DON'T UNDERSTAND EVERY PICTURE OF THE 865'S AND 875'S (INCLUDING THE MANUAL) HAVE SOCKETED BIOS'?  AM I MISSING SOMETHING??  NEEDLESS TO SAY MY FLASHING DAYS ARE OVER!!  TALK TO ME GUYS AND GALS - WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SOCKET?  MY VIA P4B-400, WHICH I JUST TOOK OUT AND REPLACED WITH THE 875NEO EVEN HAD A SOCKET. ?(

MSI decided to use chip-soldered BIOS chip solution to cut cost, they know that they have to cover the cost of RMA due to wrong BIOS flashing. Which again, appear to be cost-effective solution for high-volume manufacturing. There is something call BIOS recovery procedure.
Nothing more to discuss in this thread, this is a known topic. Hence I close the thread to avoid rants.

  • Receiving Error Message : Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed

    Hi All,
We need some assistance with this issue...for a given item when the Customer RMA order Line is being received into a given organization/sub inventory/locator we are getting this error message in the Receiving Transactions Interface ( RTI ) as mentioned below.
Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed with error :RVTII-030: Subroutine rvtiicreate() returned error
Cause: Subroutine rvtiicreate() returned an internal error.
We checked for this item in the organization the Cost of Goods Sold Account has been defined in the Costing Tab in the Item-Org Assignment and this GL account is also enabled on the GL side and is Active.
The scenario is like this :
    1. Firstly this item is shipped out on an Outbound order line to the customer location and we checked for the valid Sales Order Issue transaction against this item for this order. We checked for its Inventory Distributions as well.. these look to be valid.
It shows : Inventory valuation account is decremented while the Deferred Cogs of Goods Sold account is incremented.
    2. Then this item is being entered on Return order line and after booking the order line . It goes to Awaiting Return status. Next the user tries to attempt the Receipt for the Customer RMA order line for this item we are getting the error mentioned below in the RTI tables :
Cost Of Goods Sold Account Generation Failed with error :RVTII-030: Subroutine rvtiicreate() returned error
Cause: Subroutine rvtiicreate() returned an internal error.
Coudl someone please assist us with this issue as this is happening in Production instance ..that would be very helpfull of you..
    This is an urgent issue
    thanks

    Hi,
Standard workflow "OM : Generate Cost of Goods Sold Account" has following steps:
    1/ Start generating Code Combination
2/ Get CCID for a line
3/ Copy Values from Code Combination
    4/ Validate Code Combination
    5/ End generating Code Combination
If I want to modify the segment4, the custom function to set the attribute FND_FLEX_SEGMENT4 need to be inserted just after the step "Copy Values from Code Combination" (NOT just after "Get CCID for a line").
Is it what you have done?

  • RMA MSI Twin Frozr 560ti where are you?

After receiving errors, game graphics getting weird and games simply freezing or shutting down, I sent it back for RMA as its just over a month since I had it. Which by the way cost me $40 to send.
They received it on May 10th. I made 2 phone calls 7 days later asking how the process was going as there was no further updates on the RMA status site. I only received in response is we'll call you back, which after 2 business days they haven't and second time asked me to forward the email they sent verifying me that they received it with the RMA number.
After forwarding the email back to them which is [email protected], I called to verify if they got it, but just got a voice mail.
Why would they want that email? Don't they have it on file since they sent it? I'm I ever going to see my Video Card again?
Any suggestions on how to get confirmation that it's in the process of being repaired or replaced?
PS: After googling "MSI RMA", I read many unhappy customers going through the process. Wish I had read that before.

After many various phone calls including the one you posted I finally got a number where they actually seen me on file. And after 10days they still said it will be sent this Tues, and should get it by end of next week, we'll see.
That number is a direct line to repair in Canada - 416-900-2076

  • SAP - Service/RMA Module

    Hi all,
We are looking for a way to implement our current RMA/Service platform into SAP rather than our current Help Desk solution. Unfortunately the basic SAP functionality here seems weak and unable to do quite what we need.
Does anyone know of a good service addon that can allow us to raise RMA's/Service call against a BP and then track it through the process of issuing a  returns number, current status/whereabouts, engineers report, cost of repair etc.
I have found one add-on called Service One (http://www.nb1s.com/Addons/NB1S_ServiceOne.pdf), has anyone used it or know much about it? our current SAP integrators are very slow on getting back to us and it is becoming an urgent project.
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Kind Regards
    Matthew

    Hi Matthew,
The company you are referring to Navigator has a quite af ew AddOn's some of them are really new and I am not sure if they have released them yet.
I would suggest you could contact them directly to get some details about Service One.

  • Bad sectors/RMA

I have a 160G iPod Classic purchased last November. When syncing, the transfer hangs and the iPod locks up and needs to reboot. How much gets transferred before it breaks varies. Sometimes over 10 GB. Sometimes not even 100 MB. It's done this since I bought it. I just decided not to put much on it until recently (got a car adapter).
I've tried different USB ports on different computers. I've used third party tools to transfer music, and all behave the same. When it hangs, I see a bunch of bad sector errors in the Windows event log for that device (have a screenshot). I ran check disk on it but the behavior still occurs. I assume that means the drive is bad and the unit needs to be RMA'd.
I'm very confused by the RMA process. The online form gives specific options (bad screen, device turning off, no sound) but nothing close to "bad hard drive." I can pick one and try putting it through anyway, but when I do, it starts asking for a credit card. I'm within my one year warranty, so cost shouldn't be a problem. Why am I paying $30 shipping for Apple to fix a device they sent me broken? I would suspect that I pay shipping to them and they pay coming back, but then my $30 goes to UPS, not Apple. I don't have an Apple store in this city, so I can't go by in person.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Is there some way I can actually contact Apple? Email support is only for the ITMS. Phone support is only for the first 90 days of ownership.
    Thanks.
    Andrew

I'm very confused by the RMA process.
Fill out the form, give a CC number and wait.
Apple will send you a box with a prepaid shipping label.
Put your iPod (and only the iPod) in the box and call whoever the shipping company is to pick it up (or you can drop it off).
Apple sends you a replacement iPod.
    The end.
You only pay $30 to Apple which is for all shipping charges and the replacement iPod.
The online form gives specific options (bad screen, device turning off, no sound) but nothing close to "bad hard drive."
You are not expected to troubleshoot, which is why it states, “Please select a description of the product issue”. Pick a symptom.
Bad sectors does not necessarily mean it is causing the iPod to malfunction.
    I’d pick *Powering off/Resetting unexpectedly*.
Why am I paying $30 shipping for Apple to fix a device they sent me broken?
Because you waited 9 months after it was shipped to you.

  • OneKey Recovery System wiped out my hard drive - Please Help with RMA

Hi, I just recently got an IdeaPad S12 netbook.
Last night I tried using the OneKey Recovery System to restore the hard drive to the original factory configuration.
Unfortunately, the restored process did not work and I had to shut down the system.
Now, on boot up, I just get a blank screen with this message:
"Remove disks or other media.  Press any key to restart"
I cannot boot up in to Windows, or even run the OneKey process again.
I know there has been a documented problem (on forums, not in actual documentation!) that the OneKey system cannot run after hard drive partitions have been resized.  However, it is truly a defect in the software to corrupt the entire drive, instead of providing a warning and blocking the process from continuing.
Today is my last day in the 21 day period to get an RMA.  I called customer support and they will only issue an RMA with restocking fee.  They say I have to go through tech support and have the case documented and approved, including physical inspection (if necessary I think), in order to waive the restocking fee.  Considering the OneKey software can produce such disastrous results, I should not have to pay the restocking fee.  It seems like a waste of everyone's time and money to send the laptop to tech support, instead of just allowing me to do the return right now.
I'm hoping someone from Lenovo can help me get this RMA approved today and not deal with tech support or restocking fee.  Right now I have a 3-pound brick instead of a functioning laptop.
    George

    Georgewsu,
Thanks for the pointer on the documentation - I'll see what we can do to make it more clear that changing partitions can inhibit OKR from functioning properly.
Systems with no optical drive like the S10 or S12 can be more challenging when trying to recover from this sort of thing - there is a balance, perhaps in expecting a user to get a USB external optical drive and burn recovery media if they are going to change the partitioning of the drive and making netbook class systems available at this price point.
Without intending to sound too harsh, I'm not sure why Lenovo should fairly absorb the cost of the results of the changes you made to the product.   If you return a product,  we are going to have to refurbish it, re-image and resell at a substantial discount.  When you consider the time, the shipping costs, and what we will subsequently get for the product, we are well in the negative territory on the deal.
I think what might be more fair is to contact support and see if the depot can reimage your system under warranty.  If so, your system functionality will have been restored - you keep a quality system, and everyone is happy.   If you then want to customize your configuration, I would suggest getting a USB optical drive and burn recovery media before making more changes.
    Best regards,
    Mark

  • State of repair having the RMA number

how Can I know the status of the repair lenovo B590
Shipped For warranty service to hassen (Germany)?
    I have an RMA number.
    Thanks

It appears you bought iPhone 5 in Georgia's gray market. As you are already aware that Apple does not sell iPhones in that country. The iPhone in question was most likely sold by Apple or its Authorized reseller in USA.
Warranty or Out of warranty services for iPhones are provided by Apple only in the country of sale by Apple, USA in your case.
It needs to be presented in any Apple Store in USA for evaluation. They will offer you a refurbished Similar iPhone for a price*.
If you want to change it to iPhone 5S, you need to sell this one on your own and buy a new iPhone of your choice.
    Out-of-warranty* cost:
        iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5: $269

    Hi,
What is your EBS version?  11i or R12 ?
RMA based on original sales order is a major feature enhancement introduced only in R12. Please refer the following documentations.

  • [Radeon] MSI RX9800 128MB WORSE After RMA

After months of unsuccessfully troubleshooting my 3d artifacting problems (random triangular polygon stretching that would only occur while playing games) with my never overclocked MSI 9800, I finally gave up and RMA'd it last week.  The RMA process went without a hitch and only took a little over a week.  It should be noted that I had to "rollback" to my 3 year old OEM Gateway GeForce 3 during the RMA (which still works just fine, imagine that), so no Battlefield 2 for me...
Finally I got my card back and I swapped it back into my machine.  I anxiously pressed the power button only to see that the Windows XP boot graphic (the one with the blue loading bar) had large chunks of artifacting on it.  How can that be?  Windows loads and I see little blue and red blocks popping up around the screen, along with other artifacting in menus, graphics, etc.  How did the RMA make my card even WORSE?!  It may of had problems in games before but it NEVER artifacted in Windows.
I started a game up just to see what would happen and the intro movie had a large red triangle covering half the screen.  When I actually got into the game itself the screen went black and had about 6 small squares of distorted pixels.  I tried to Alt-Tab out of the game since I couldn't see anything on the screen and when I got back into Windows the screen was completely covered with artifacts, so bad I couldn't even see where to click.  The mouse pointer (what was left of it...) was even covered with artifacts.
Long story short, RMA'ing my card to MSI cost me shipping charges and made my card EVEN WORSE than it was before.  RMA is obviously not a solution for this card anymore and I will be contacting MSI for a replacement card.
I really hope no one else has a similar experience when RMA'ing their product to MSI...

    Richard,
I didn't ask anyone for help with troubleshooting my problem and rudely asking for my system specs via metaphor isn't exactly helping things either.
System specs are irrelevant in the case of the RMA for a very simple reason:  Nothing changed in my computer from the time I RMA'd the card to the time I got it back and put it in.  The only thing that got worse was my video card, which simply means the video card IS the problem.  Believe me, I tried everything to get this card to work..  like I said in my first post.  The time for troubleshooting is long since over, it's time for MSI to replace my card with a new one.
I posted this here so other MSI customers could see what potentially could happen when they RMA their products...
I'll be updating this thread after I call MSI tomorrow.

  • Final Cost of a Product

    Hi
We have a problem getting the final cost of a product.
We are able to get the cost of the product by doing direct cost * Number of quantity.
I would like to know the way I can get all the indirect costs added to the direct cost to get the final cost of a product.
    Thanks.

All that I write is after I read terms and conditions for waranty/RMA. I know that what you say is part of the policy , and the price of the product replaced cannot be exceeded. But proposed exchange is fair? You can make your calculation and tell me how big is my error, if I do not know primary math ...I asked only fair treatment.

  • Indented Bills not costing - r12.1

    Hello,
We have new indented bills and item master is setup with  Enable costing - checked and Include in Cost Roll up flags - checked.
We run supply chain cost roll ups and Cost manager is up and running.
Despite above, some of bills in indented bills of material show "Costed Flag" unchecked and extended cost as 0.00000.
Can any one advise with cost roll up is not revising costs on these bills and updating costs?
I also checked mtl_material_transcations for possible errors.  There are no errors for items having this issue. The costed flag is null.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Darsh

    Hi Gerry,
For your scenario, the cost in period 4 will be the same like cost in period 1 because RMA transactions that are not related to specific sales order will be considered as cost derived transactions that will use the current period average cost. Then this current period average cost will be simply inherited from the previous periods [i.e. from period 1 to 2 and from 2 to 3 and then from 3 to 4 because the only cost owned activity was performed on period 1]
Hopefully this is answering your question ...

  • Problem with RMA

My mother bought a creative zen Xi Fi 32gb lan player back in the end of April for my birthday, it took about a week and a half to arri've. When i recieved it i noticed there were dust particles underneath the screen, the box was sealed and the unit looked brand new so i don't know how they could have gotten there. So I toyed with sending it back for an RMA or keeping it but ultimately i decided i would send it back for a pristine one since the unit costed ?80. I got in touch with the creative email support guys and they swiftly sent me back an RMA number and an address from which to return the player, they also quoted me a 5-0 day return of a new player after they recieve my old player at the RMA depot. I sent the player off on the 8th of May and it was deli'vered to the depot according to the post office tracking service.
Anyways i am still waiting for my replacement player nearly a month after i posted my old player away, i have recieved no emails or further contact from the support team. I am disappointed that somehow my ?80 player is lost and i am worried that i won't get a replacement back. I sent another email query off the customer support about a week ago and i still haven't recieved any reply. Another thing is that i checked the RMA tracker on the creative site and it didn't recognise my RMA number nor my email. So far the only thing to prove that i actually owned a craeti've player is my creative store account from which i bought the product and my correspondance via email with the support team. I would like some advice on what i can do now, at this point i'd just be happy to get my money back or get some reassurance that something is actually happening with the RMA.

yes, I think the best thing to is to is to wait for the replacement, anyway it under the warranty period still.
Unix is simple. It just takes a genius to understand its simplicity.
