Create a Document in DMS and attach a file coming in binary format

Hi to all,
I have to create a new document in DMS (trx: CV01N) with an attachment but this attachment is a pdf file in binary format. Can I use bapi "BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2"? It support binary files in input or I have to convert files in someway? Or I have to use another BAPI?
I'm using an r/3 4.6c and I know that it is a big limit.
Please, I need help.

That assumes two things:
1. That Apple would have let Microsoft have access to its file format.
2. That Microsoft would want to spend the time and trouble to write filters for file formats that Apple can't be bothered doing for its own software.

Iam checking with document number , document type, document part, document version... it is throwing error message as
error while checking in and storing: version number(25).
Please advice whether it is correct approach?

Can you copy/paste files from the Finder to Mail in Lion, or drag them onto the Mail icon in the Dock to create a new message and attach the files to it?

I can't find anything in the Knowledge Base that says these two options no longer work or still do.
I do not have a system capable of running Lion, but I need to know the answer nonetheless.

Gee, I don't know: "paste attachments mail Lion"? ;-)
One further question, if I may: in Panther (which is where I've aggregated nearly 7 years of mail), if you copy more than one file in the Finder, switch to Mail, and paste the files into a new message, only the file names paste in. If you copy one file and paste it into a Mail message, you get the file, not just the name. Is that still true, or has that (IMHO) bug been fixed since 10.3.9?

How can you create a new category list and attach it to a new incident template

We intend to create helpdesks for various teams e.g. Facilities, IT, HR etc and allow staff to email separate email addresses via the exchange connector. So incidents get assigned to separate queues categorised via the support group set in the
assigned template used by the connector. I want separate category lists for each template so IT staff don't see Facilities categories etc. This all works apart from having separate Incident classification lists attached to the appropriate template.

So I suppose I have to do something similar to the blog post below. I assume that if I create a new 'facilities incident' class I can create a distinct category list and attach that to a template without showing the default category list?

On Demand doesn't support adding attachments via web services. One
solution I've seen is depending on the scenario is to create a web link
field on an object that's based on a custom text field. Your web service
can populate that custom field and the web link can generate a dynamic
link to the file in On Demand's UI. However, this depends on where the
attachment is located and if the user needs some sort of firewall access.

It depends what file you want to attach. For photo's, tap and hold any photo on the web, tap copy, then hold a blank space on an email, and tap paste.
For other documents, you may need an app. For example, in the Pages application, there is a feature to email a document. Search the App Store.

Tell Apple. We're just fellow users here and can't control a thing. The sandboxed nature of the iPad, which also means a lack of an overall file manager is what keeps viruses from spreading and improves the stability of the system as a whole. And it's that lack of a file manager system that means you can't just attach something to an e-mail.
What I'd do, reply to the person, i'm sending the attachment next, do that and you're done. 2 e-mails sure but you've accomplished what you need to do.

What is causing this? The file "iTunes Library.itl" does not appear to be a valid iTunes library file. iTunes has created a new iTunes library and renamed this file to "iTunes Library (Damaged) 4". This happens everytime I start iTunes lateley. Help!!!

Everytime I open iTunes lately...I get all my music thrown out of the library and this annoying message come up...The file “iTunes Library.itl” does not appear to be a valid iTunes library file. iTunes has created a new iTunes library and renamed this file to “iTunes Library (Damaged) 4”. The library file appears to have been corrupted. You say you use your external drive but is the whole library on it or only your media? No matter, you will have to rebuild the library file:

I have a excel file that I have been using since beginning of year.
Yesterday, I tried to open it but a message comes out "

Per your post, this problem might be caused by malware on the affected machine.

In order to clean your machine, run Microsoft Safety Scanner (http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx) to kill the malware, and then repair Excel file itself.

Unable to create Instance with Object Editor and Attachment Pattern

Hi Experts,
I created a simple entity service with some attributes and a document reference.
I also configured an object editor pattern and assigned a attachment pattern. The created object editor works as long as I don't attach a file. But if I attach a file and want to save it I get an error message "cannot create"
In the default log.trc I have some entries
Cannot read associated instance with MOF ID 105D8E0C4F02D45AFFD5B9D6A09EFB7A of MOF Layer 2 for (6DC24B80F6004CDBF4FA6C560AEDD33C,<null>)
and
refPackageM1(com.sap.ip.bi.sdk.dac.olap.query) failed RepositoryDBMemory. Using generic one.
I configured the j2ee engine according the tutorial "Integrating KM with CAF UI Patterns"

From the stacktrace I assume that the following happens (please correct me, if I'm wrong):
* Some time based event mechanism sends an event to your custom event handler code. That code is execute in some system context.
* Your handler uses the RF API to create a collection. All this is perfectly OK. Here my assumptions end, the next steps are solid facts.
* Within the RF all property filters are informed that a resource is about to be created. One of the filters is trying to obtain a lock from a system provided Locking Service.
* That service refuses to grant the lock, telling that system users are not allowed to do so.
Most proably you cannot do anything to solve this problem by yourself. When I ran into the same Exception once, I could avoid to have my code run in a system thread. Well you might try to do the same.
Otherwise please open a customer message and complain about the restiction in the locking behaviour.

Again: What version of Pages are you talking about?

Again: Have you tried to open the Word .docx in Pages?
Pages doesn't save to Word it Exports to Word .doc so there should be a .pages copy on your Mac.

Can anyone recommend and app for ipad mini to run excel documents offline and let the files be saved ot the ipad hard drive. I am frequently out of network range and need to be able to run the sheets.
