Create AP_INVOICE_LINES entry programatically via interface?

Hi,
is there a public or private API/interface that supports creating a new invoice line (ap_invoice_lines + distribution + ...) entry for an existing invoice?
I tried fiddling with the open interface (AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE/AP_INVOICE_LINES_INTERFACE,ap_import_invoices_pkg) but to no avail :-(
Thanks
Christoph

Thanks for the helpful examples, but:
skimming through the code I think that it will import an invoice header + line.
The invoices I want to add lines to are already imported/comitted so I don't need a header. Calling the interface processor for an existing invoice gives me a DUPLICATE rejection (actual string might vary).
Since the first post I learned that the functionality changed significantly between releases so I have to add that I'm on eBS release 12.1.3

  • CBAC: creating temporary entries in another interface?

    Hi,
    I am trying to understand the example at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/sec_data_plane/configuration/guide/sec_cfg_content_ac.html#wp1002224 in which the "ip inspect" command is applied to Ethernet 1/0 but the document says that the dynamic temporary entries will be created in the ACL 100 which is applied to another interface (Etherent 1/1). Is this true? I am under the impression that "ip inspect ... in" will add entries to the outbound ACL for the same interface, while
    "ip inspect ... out" will add entries to the inbound ACL for the same interface.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Ka,
    You do not need it, as soon as you have the inspection the returning traffic that matches the connections being inspected by CBAC will be allowed and will overwrite any ACL denying that traffic.
    I think its a way to see things because as an example:
    Inside------Router----Outside
    Lets say you have an ACL denying all traffic on the outside interface inbound direction, with CBAC configure on the inside for outbound TCP connections, all the TCP traffic returning for a connection that matches the traffic being inspected will be allowed ( so yes a temporary entry will be added to the inbound ACL on the outside interface.
    That is the whole purpose of CBAC ( A stateful firewall)

  • "Buffer table not upto date" while creating Service entry via BAPI

    Hi All,
    I am facing the same issue while creating and accepting a service entry sheet via BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATE in a report . I get a pop up message S001 (Buffer table not upto date) in ML81N. Though, it is not an error message it delays the further processing. I have checked the relevant threads for this message but since there is no SRM involved, I couldn't track the exact solution.

    Hi ,
    Please close all the applications and re-check your rquirement.
    Also, check for any information from SM21 logs.
    Some times, it can be due to program /report not correctly maintained.
    Finally, Basis people need to validate & may re-start (cautios of Production system) system.

  • How do I create a new schedule via the Metadata Navigator Web interface?

    Hi All,
    Just wondering if it is possible to create a new schedule via the Metadata Navigator Web interface? What security rights do you need? Is this even possible? I have logged in as SUPERVISOR and It still looks like I can't do it.
    Thanks,
    Erik

    You can't. To create a new schedule, use the Operator or Designer tool.

  • Sales Orders not to be created for certain customers via legacy

    Hi,
    We have an inbound interface from legacy into SAP which creates Sales Orders in SAP. But we have a requirement where the business does not want sales orders to be created for certain customers in SAP via the interface.
    To prevent the sales orders from being created for those customers via the interface, we have created entries in the look-up tables (Hope other projects also use lookup tables and are aware of what are look-up tables). But still the sales orders are being created in SAP for those customers via the interface.
    What else should we do to prevent the sales orders from being created for those customers.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ben,
    well I tried out your code and it works with an small correction of your insert:
    save: function(){
            var oData = new sap.ui.model.odata.ODataModel('...censored.../BL_TI/2005/TEST_USER/Opportunities.xsodata', true);
            // New user panel
    //        var pnlUser = new sap.ui.commons.Panel({text: "User-Data"});
    //        var tfUserId = new sap.ui.commons.TextField({placeholder: "User-Id"});
    //        var tfUserName = new sap.ui.commons.TextField({placeholder: "User-Name"});
    //        var btnSave = new sap.ui.commons.Button({text: "Save"});
    //        pnlUser.addContent(tfUserId).addContent(tfUserName).addContent(btnSave);
    //        btnSave.attachPress(function() {
            var entry = {};
            entry.ID = "3"; //tfUserId.getValue();
            entry.USERNAME = "4"; //tfUserName.getValue();
            oData.create('/USER', entry, null,
                    function() {
                alert("Create successful");
            function() {
                alert("Create failed");
    Try to write your id instead of  3 -> "3" That was the only what I´ve changed.

    Thanks Timo.. for simple solution.
    Actually.. TelephoneBOD is auto-generated on creation of web service proxy from web service.
    I don't think.. updating those Java files directly is a best practice. Because they will be changing if there is any change in web service schema..
    You think there is any other way to do so?
    Thanks

  • Can't create a new record via Import using Integration ID

    I have custom object records (+Assets+) that includes data attributes from another custom object (+Acme Products+ - not the same as CRMOD Products object). I would like to create new Asset records that pulls data in from the Acme Products object via the Import process, but I cannot always use the "Acme Products: External Unique ID" field to connect the data because Products don't always get created externally, most are created directly in the user interface. I'd like to use the "Acme Products:Integration ID", but that field doesn't appear when I'm mapping the fields on Step 3. Is there another way to connect the data?

    You could use web services. Post this question on the CRM On Demand Integration Development Forum.

    I'm trying to find when I actually created an entry/event in my iCal.

    So you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud? That message sounds like you did not. Are you using the same Apple ID used in Settings>iCloud on the iPod?
    - To find wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

  • Create a virtual classroom via Adobe Connect 9 Web Services

    Is it possible to create a virtual classroom via Adobe Connect 9 Web Services? I could not find a way in "Using Adobe Connect 9 Web Services" documentation.

    The answer of Jorma Jenning is almost correct. I investigated it myself and finally made a working solution.
    The trick is that virtual classroom does not have a special type, instead it is a "meeting inside trainings folder with the icon of virtual-classroom". Kinda strange logic and to add another level of hell the "trainings folder" is the one with the type "my-courses", so, finally, we get the the following workflow:
    1. Call h-ttps://example.com/api/xml?action=sco-shortcuts and filter sco-s until you find one with the type="my-courses" and remember its sco-id — this will be your folder-id.
    2. call  h-ttps://example.com/api/xml?action=sco-update&type=meeting&icon=virtual-classroom&name=October All Hands Meeting
              &folder-id=2006258750&date-begin=2006-10-01T09:00
              &date-end=2006-10-01T17:00&url-path=october
    The thing with icon is important.
    Note that if you call report-my-training service immediately after sco-update you won't see this virtual-classroom. This is because the default permissions do not allow that. Add yourself to the user list via permissions-update and it will appear in your training list. This is different from creating virtual classroom from web interface as there you are added as a host by default.

  • Create Contra-Entry with FIDCCP01

    I am currently creating an "interface" between a third party supplier -> XI -> R/3 FI.
    Unfortunately, I am only passed across the single entry (credit posting), and I need to create the "contra entry/offsetting account" within the mapping.  I have created a look up to obtain the reconciliation account to post to, but am unsure about how to create an additional single line entry to post this 2nd entry.
    There could potential have upto 998 line items (which will be forced within the other software) which leaves me the single available line to create this entry.
    Can someone point me in the direction of some literature that covers this, if possible, or give me some pointers on creating this additional entry?  Will I use "constants" for this? and if so, how do I make sure only one entry is created and not an entry for each line item?
    This maybe a basic question, but it has been four months since my training, and my first go at creating an interface in XI.

    Hi  Ravi ,
    Instead creating the Dailog Program u can creat the Table Maintanance Generator (TMG). Here u will have all the option of creation, deleting , modifying the record.
    In se11 main screen go to utilities:-> Table Maintanance Generator .
    here u have to enteg the Function group name and screen NO. system wil generate the dialog program for u to maintan the data in that table. Then go to      T-CODE SM30 give the same table name and click on maintanance push button and maintain ur entries the table.
    IF helpfull reward points

  • I have two lists. The first is "Tasks", second is "Journal". I need a "Create Journal Entry" link in the Tasks list. How do I do that?

    Let's say I have a Task named "Build SSIS for Duke Energy" and it has another column called Active. Now every day I look at my task list and If I worked on that task I want to create a Journal entry of what I have done. So from the Task
    list I'd like a third column that calls the "Journal Entry" list's new form page and pass it in the ID of the task. I have found several TextToHtml scripts out there, but they have to be stored in a script library, and then sourced to a content
    editor web part. The problem is they don't fire when I have my list grouped. In addition to, every time someone creates a new view, I have to go in and add the Content Editor web part, point to the script....
    Any thoughts. It is the grouped view that really bug me.

    Hi,
    If you only want to add a hyperlink to create a Journal entry in the task list, I recommend to add a Hyperlink column in the task list and then create workflow to update the column.
    You can follow the steps as below:
    Open the task list, add a hyperlink column named Create Journal Entry.
    Create a workflow associated to the task list, start the workflow automatically when an item is created.
    Add actions as below:
    Then when a task is created in the task list, the workflow will be stared automatically to update the “Create Journal Entry” column.
    Thanks,
    Jason
