Creating a dynamic page for each record.

So I understand how to grab a single row from a database for use on a dynamic page. Now creating 1,000 pages for each row would be rather tedious even with copy and paste. So can anyone provide me some information on how to do this without creating each page manually?

Yes it would. You create a link to a dynamic page and pass it the id of the item you want to display. So instead of using a link to a static page like this:
<a href="mywidget_01.html">My Widget 101</a>
You would link to a dynamic page like this:
<a href="widgets.php?id=101">My Widget 101</a>
The widgets.php would read the query string and pull the correct data for widget 101 from the database. You could even use url rewriting so the url of the dynamic page for widget 101 would be http://example.com/widget101

No need to think the budget template is only for one month. Just keep typing the date in the date column of the "Transactions" sheet and the details will update. You should adjust the budget categories to match the duration of time you want to use.
If you do want month-by-month, then you can switch to the "Transactions" sheet, select the table, cut
then switch back to the "Budget" sheet, paste.
Now rename the "Budget" sheet something like "Budget Jan 2014", and delete the "Transactions" sheet. Set the budget for Jan in the column I highlighted above. The subsequent months, duplicate the monthly budget:
Then adjust the the entries in the transactions table inside this sheet.

In my scenario, JDBC adapter (sender) polls the open purchase order items from the table at the specified interval and send to BPM. In BPM, we used transformation step to split the messages to process each PO . The scenario is working fine. The problem is assume that if we process 10 PO, the error is in 4th PO while process, the BPM will be stopped in 4th PO. Once we correct the error, we are able to restart.
In this case, we are not able to skip the 4th PO and process from 5th PO onwards. ie. the processing is sequential. Instead, we want to start new BPM instance for every PO. Advantage is that if 4th PO is error, only that BPM instance (work item) will be stopped. Remaining 9 POs will be completed.
So, how do we start new BPM instance for every PO ?

Hi,
There are two ways to achieve this. In BPM and before BPM.
Before BPM:
Use 1 to unbounded mapping and 1 to unbounded interface mapping.
In your mapping, make sure you create a seperate message for each PO.
In BPM:
Create a multiline container with you POs using a 1 to n mapping.
Now add a ForEach block to loop through the multiline container and send each PO.
Important: Add an exception branch to catch any exception for each send so that the exception does not make the BPM fail.

Hi All,
I request you all to let me know how to give an approach to the following requirement.
REQUIREMENT: I have to create a dynamic attribute in UME for each user and the read the attribute on lead selection of a table having list of Users.
                         On lead selection, the dynamic attribute value should be either true or false. Based on this value the rest of the application specific operations wil be taken care.
                          If a particular User does not have the dynamic attribute associated to it, then we need to create the same.

Do this ,
in the main window - open a loop on your internal table ,
within the loop open the text and give the output fields,
after this text use the Command node and in this set the next page as page1,
so when the loop gets executed its first record will be on the first page and the second record will be on the next page and so on ..

declare L_LINES in global declaration
right click on main window create program lines in that
Input parameters: I_FINAL
In CODE option
SORT I_FINAL BY KUNNR.
DESCRIBE TABLE I_FINAL LINES L_LINES.
After you create LOOP IN data tab give chek the check box
I_FINAL INTO WA_FINAL
WA_FINAL declare in global declaration
Under loop create node alternative(CONDITON)
double click CONDITION in conditions tab
Field name: L_LINES
Relational operator:>
Comparison value:0
in that CONDITION ---> TRUE & FALSE is available
in TRUE option create program lines, in that give like
L_LINES = L_LINES - 1.
Under TRUE option create COMMAND node
in General attributes tab: check the chek box go to new page
in conditions : maintain as
Field name: L_LINES
Relational operator:>
Comparison value:0

I am able display list of cm nos, names and city in one page.
But i want to display name, city and number of customer in one single page.
suppose 5 customer numbers are there.....then 5 seperate pages should be displayed.

Hi,
In your loop node... you have sort criteria....
give the fieldname of the customer number KUNNR and check the check box under the begin of sort event...
An event node is created... under that event node... create command node for triggering new page and dont forget to tick the checkbox for " not on first page" in the conditions tab....
and under that you can create text elements to display the data

I using SharePoint 2010 , in that am creating a custom visual webpart, to show in my home page.
In that i need to show my custom list's listitems such as 'ID' and 'Title' as dynamically label controls in my page.
When ever a new item added in that list , it will dynamically created labels and displyed in my webpart as last item.
can any one help me ?

Hello,
You can't directly get newly created item in webpart but you can use CAML query to get item from list and show in webpart. Use OrderBy in query to get item in ascending or descending order. Here is ref code:

How to create a dynamic menu for each group of responsibility and user

I am using Jdev 11.1.1.6 and new to ADF, my application require to populate menu which would be different for different groups of user, and the user in each group would have different submenu depends on their responsibilities assigned to each one of them.
so on the top level would be menu_top_item1, menue_top_item2
|-->submenu1_1 |-->submenu2_1
|-->submenu1_2 |-->submenu2_2
also the menu would need to be on_mouse_over to show the submenu items or collapsed back.
any idea what would be the best approch? or is there any example around?

I am creating a pages document with a table where I have entered merge fields and want the table filled out with data from a numbers spreadsheet. Instead of pulling data and filling the next rows down it is giving me a separate sheet per data. This worked fine in Word/Excel. What am I missing here?

How do I create new pdf reports for each records from a table? The pdf files should be named as customerid.pdf and needs to be delivered in email or share path?
Each record has enough content for 5 page of pdf report.

You can create a data driven subscription to loop through records in the table and create pdf based on number of customerid.

From XML (import) for each record automatic new page creation?

I'm playing around with XML.
Can someone tell me where to look and help me?
I load variable data via XML.
Example content xml:

I have 1 page classified (ie 3 text boxes). The idea is that for each record in the xml (in this case 1, 2 and 3) a new page is created (Qua layout identical to the page that I had prepared, but with the corresponding data in each box)

If you need to keep the three parts of your page in separate text frames, you are probably out of luck.
I can't tell from your question whether you know how to tag frames and import XML content into them. If you don't, the manual is fairly clear on it. However, it states more than once that "InDesign flows merged XML content into existing frames only." That means that it won't add frames or pages for you -- you can only load XML into tagged frames on the first page and will have to add extra ones by hand.
If you could rework your design so that all the elements could be accommodated in a single text frame, using paragraph styles to keep them apart, you could just import the XML and map tags to styles, then drag it into a frame on the first pages. If your article style was set to start in a new frame, everything but the first would go into overset text, which you could deal with in the usual way -- shift-click on the in port of a new frame and InDesign will add the pages you need.

My Interface is from FILE to MQ (JMS)..
I have a specific requirement in my project, I have multiple files in sender directory ( /tmp)
Ex: FILE_20090202.TXT
FILE_20090203.TXT
FILE_20090204.TXT
FILE_20090205.TXT
And each file has couple of records just shown below:

BCD   345     WEDR    SER

I have to process all the files at a time ( may be I can use file masking by FILE*.txt) , one message has to be created in MQ for each record of the file..
Ex:

Message 2: BCD   345     WEDR    SER
Message 3: CDE   567     GHTE   DDGG

As already suggested, multi-mapping can be used
You need to set target root node occurrence to unbounded and map root node accordingly
you will have to use enhanced interface determinaion

Graphical mapping question - need to create 2 nodes for each record

The mapping is from flat to nested, i.e. flat file to FIDCC2 idoc. Each record has to go to 2 repeated IDoc segments, each one with different posting key. Right now, I have it working for each record to a segment(for one segment) by using splitByValue (value change). How can I repeat the creation of another but with slightly different constant.
Also, how do I add line numbers? I remember seeing a posting on this a while ago - cannot locate it.

Using the following example to store it as global variable
SetParameter from GloabalContainer:
container.getGlobalContainer ().setParameter ("COUNTER", "0");
GetParameter from GloabalContainer:
String myCounter = (String) container.getGlobalContainer().getParameter ("COUNTER");
When you map to your constant, store it in global variable, then you map other field, get current global variable, check its value, based on the value, you do proper mapping.
