Creating Database view starting with m_z

Hi,
How to create a database view starting with m_z without using access key. Please help in this.

Hi,
You cannot create the Database view with namespace M_Z any custom objects should be created with Y/Z/ if you want to create the Objects using other than these namespace..you need have access key from SAP.
You need to buy the Namespace from SAP to create the custom object M_Z*

  • Knwoing the database was started with which pfile/spfile

    hello to everyone,
Actually, a question that crossed my mind and I wondered if it's possible in Oracle.
For an already started database, is there a way to know the database was started with which pfile/spfile? Is there a view that tells this for example.
    Many thnx.
    H Hiruya

If spfile parameter is null, then you can look for a
pfile with the name convention of
init<ORACLE_SID>.ora.Yes, you can, but that won't tell you anything about which pfile was used to start the instance. I can just as easily type:
    startup pfile=/my/pfile/that/does/not/conform/to/any/naming/standard
There's no way to definitively determine which pfile was used to start an instance.

  • Creating Database Views at Runtime

I want to create database views (on the fly) every time an ODI Package is executed. The views will be used as sources during step 2 of the Package. How can I create interface that will create these views that can be the first step in my Package? Would I need to create my own IKM that generates the views, so that datastore created can be used as a source in my next step in the package?

When you create a OAMessageLovInputBean bean dynamically, it doesn't create all the default components which you see while creating through Jdev.
You can create your own popup region and attach to bean through the setLovRegion API.

  • Create database view with Java Dictionary

    Hi,
is there a possibility to create and deploy a database view with the
Java Dictionary (in SAP NetWeaver Development Studio)?
It seems as if you can only create and deploy database tables.

or else, with prior versions, use somethinig like this...

  • Create materialized View fails with "table or view does not exist"

    DB: 10.2.0.4
    OS: Win 2003
    Hi,
Here in my tests, i have 2 databases (A(source) and B(backup)), and i am trying to create an mview in database B to replicate data from one test table from database A, only for test purpose. I'm getting the error "table or view does not exist" when i try to create a mview with REFRESH FAST. Here is my code:
    CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW TESTES.TAB_TESTES_REPLIC_MVIEW_02
    REFRESH FAST
    START WITH TO_DATE('21/02/2012 18:50:00', 'DD/MM/YYYY HH24:MI:SS')
    NEXT SYSDATE + 1/24/60
    WITH PRIMARY KEY
    AS SELECT REGISTRO1,
    REGISTRO2
    FROM TESTES.TAB_TESTES_REPLIC_MVIEW_02@DB_LINK_ORA10;
The dblink is workig fine(dblink user has select privilege on TESTES.TAB_TESTES_REPLIC_MVIEW_02), and i have created the mview log on database A.
    Where is my mistake.
    Thanks a lot.

    I found the solution.
I had to grant SELECT on the mview log. The name is avaiable in DBA_MVIEW_LOGS

    Hello Ladies and Gents,
I've been trying to deploy a recursive query as a view in Oracle XE and Standard Edition, neither to much success.

The query itself works and returns results. However, when I try to create a view with that query, I receive errors.
I've posted two screenshots: http://www.williverstravels.com/JDev/Forums/StackOverflow/17358109/ViewError.jpg and http://www.williverstravels.com/JDev/Forums/StackOverflow/17358109/InternalError.jpg The first one with the ! and * is when I am using JDeveloper 11g, using the Database Navigator, right-click on View and select "New View". I receive the error when I click OK. I can indeed create the view through a sql script, but when I attempt to view the data, I receive the ORA_00600 error.
I've tried this on both my local machine for XE (version 11.2.0.2.0) and on 11g Standard Edition (11.2.0.2.v6) via Amazon Web Services. The result is the same.
Does anyone know how to get around this?

Not 5 minutes after I post this, I decide not to use JDev's graphical editor, and simply write
    SELECT * FROM BOMS_VIEW;
And it works like a charm.  I just can't use data tab to view the records in the editor.  Wish I had known that 5 hours ago.

  • How to get access key while creating database view in R3

    Hi all experts,
I am new to SAP so please forgive my ignorance.
From R3, I am trying to create a new database view named ZVENDOR_ATTR  which will be based on LFM1.
When i go to SE11 -> chose view and click create then it shows a pop up window that says "you are not registered as a developer. Please register in the Online Service System (OSS). In the OSS you will receive an access key."
I don't know how can i get the access key and proceed now. Please note that i have installed this BW3.5 and R3 on my laptop. From the default user ddic, i have copied and created a new user 'sapuser1'. I am now using the sapuser1 to logon  and attempting to create the above mentioned Database view. It seems like this sapuser1 as it is copied from ddic is not a developer.
So anybody can please help  how to create/get this access key to proceed  further.
I will give full points. Please help.
Thank you so much in advance
    ak

    Thanks All,
Does it mean that i can not create any database object without the access key from service.sap.com? As i told that i installed this BW3.5 / R3 on my laptop to train myself but i don't have an account on service.sap.com.
However i can login to R3 system as admin (i have access to the system using ddic or spcpic). Is there a way that a new user with deveoper role can be created by the admin without going to service.sap.com.
    Please advise.
    Thanks.

  • Problem creating Database view

    Hi ABAP experts,
I have created an ABAP database view with tables /SAPAPO/MATLOC, /SAPAPO/MATKEY and /SAPAPO/LOC.
I am taking snp planner (PLANNER_SNP) and ppds planner (PLANNER_PPS) from table /SAPAPO/MATLOC. I want their descriptions also in the same view which is there in an another database table /SAPAPO/PLANNER. but when i use this table in the join number of entries in the view appears to be zero. I dont know why..
Can anybody suggest me how can I put descriptions of SNP planner and PPDS planner also in the same view.
Also view is getting created with all the fields as key fields by default but I want only three feilds to be the key feilds.
Can anybody help in this matter.
    Thanks a lot
    Best Regards,
    Chandan Dubey

I can't see the structure of these tables but apparently your join condition is not well done. Ensure foreing keys for /SAPAPO/MATLOC exist in /SAPAPO/PLANNER (or vice versa dependig on which table has primary key) . Try doing a view first only with these two tables, then if this works expand it to the two other tables. This will give you an overview were is the logic (relationship) problem.
As for your second question system will suggest key relationship, of which you can delete some relations. In this case you don't need to use all of them but only part of the key fields to be compared. Just select relationship you don't want and delete it. when using this view only these fields will be used to formluate join condition.
    I hope this helps you

  • Project Server Creating database views

    Hi All,
We are using project server 2013. We need to create some database views to generate some complex report, what is the best way to create. I think if we create any custom views inside the project server databse, will be removed while applying the service pack.
    Thanks in advance, Taj

Assuming you are talking for an On premise installation,
You won't have problem if you create custom views within database as long as its referencing reporting objects, it is supported and documented on
    Technet
    Excerpt from Technet
Schemas are documented only for the reporting tables and views.
    For an
on-premises Project Server installation, you can add reporting tables
and views for entities that are not defined in the Project database
schema. You can also create separate databases for custom on-premises
applications. Modification is not supported for the draft, published,
and archive tables and views. Because the Project database is not
directly accessible in Project Online, reporting tables and views cannot
be modified. However, if you have a SQL Azure account, you can create
separate databases for custom use with Project Online.

    Kenny_I

    Hi Kenny_I,
Based on the error message, the issue may be caused by the incorrect configuration of Claims to Windows Token Service (C2WTS). The C2WTS is required because the communication between the web front-end (WFE) and the Reporting Services shared service will
    always be Claims authentication.
The domain account used by the Claims to Windows Token Service needs to be granted the following rights through the Local Security Policy:
Act as part of the operating system
    Impersonate a client after authentication
    Log on as a service
We can find these settings under Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment. And we should add the service account to the local Administrators Groups ahead.

  • Creating Table View's with more than one table

    I have two custom tables.
Table A has 2 fields:  Code and Description
Table B has 4 fields:  Code, Country, Emp Group and Personnel Area
I would like to build a view which has:  Code, Description, County, Emp Group and Personnel Area.  This view should be able to pull in the Description from Table A when the user enters in the Code.
I have created a view with SE11 and have put both Table A and B with joins as follows:  A Code = B Code.  Under the view fields I have put the fields B.Code, A. Description, B.Country, B.Emp Group and B.Personnel Area.
When I generate this view (Utilities, Table Maintenance Generator) it only shows the Code and Description field.  It does pull in the Description automatically which is great.  The issue is 2 things 1) The Description can be changed and 2) The other fields I specified above are not included on the view (e.g., Country etc.)
    Any ideas?

I have checked several times that it is against the view as it is so strange that not all of the fields are appearing.
I go into SE11, Click on View, Type in the View Name and then Change.  I goto into Utilities, Table Maintenance Generator and select it as one Step and then click on the Create Button.  When I go into SM30 I only see the 2 fields?

  • Database accidently started with lower version binary.

We recently upgraded and patched a version 9206 database to 9208. However, after this was done the database was bounced and accidently started with the 9206 binary and it has been running this way for a couple of weeks. My fix is to shut the database down as 9206, reset the environment to 9208 and restart. Is that all I need to do? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Mike. Just to clarify. The database was a 9208 database at the end of the upgrade. The upgrade to 9208 completed successfully and then I applied the AprCPU2008 patch.
When we upgrade databases we install a brand new binary patched to the level we want to upgrade to. Then we open the database, in migrate mode, using the new binary and run the catpatch and utlrp. So for a short time I have both the 9208 and 9206 binaries available.
What happened is that the server the database was on, in a Veritas cluster, was patched the next day. The Veritas resource setting for startup had not yet been changed to use 9208, so when the database came back up after the server patching Veritas used the 9206 OracleHome and binary to start the database.
So is my fix. "Just shutdown the database using the 9206 binary change the database environment to use the 9208 binary and restart and be done with it." valid. So I really have a 9208 database that was started with a 9206 OracleHome. Hopefully that makes sense.
