Can we create our own enhancement spot in the standard program?

Yes you can create your own enhancement point. But SAP should have provided the space to create it.
In every standard program SAP has provided some spaces to create your own enhancement points.
In order to check these spots
Click on the ICON looks like Masquito coil just left to the syntax check icon then go to the following path
EDIT->Enhancement operation->Show Implicit enhancements.
when you select that path it will show you the implicit enhancements with doble commas
right click on that and select Enhancement operation->Create
Rewars points if useful.

i had seen so many eLearning concepts which sap provided to demonstrate the ENHANCEMENTS Topic,But in that they are using the Enhancement Spots which already created in $TMP Package,So To learn this concept i am trying to create the Enhancement Spots in $TMP , But it is not allowing me to create in $TMP and it's showing the error message like Enhancements can create in only 'SAP' Packages only,So if i will create in SAP Packages it is allowing,
But i would like to create Enhancement Spots in $TMP Package,So it would be appriciable any one could help me regarding this.

Creating Enhancement Implementation for the Enhancement spot in ECC 6.0

Hi All,
I have an urgent requirement of creating an Enhancement implementation for the existing Enhancement Spot in ECC 6.0 ..
I never worked on enhancement in ECC 6.0.
There is an existing enhancement spot called "ES_SAPLIQS0" in the package " IWOC". which has got three existing implementations
1. DI_ROT_SAPLIQS0
2. ISU_SAPLIQS0
3. DIMP_GENERAL_SAPLIQS0
I need to create another implementation for the same enhancement spot.. Please let me know the detailed procedure to create the enhancement implementation for the same spot..

First of all find out the include program where you want to write the logic.. Click the spiral button to go to enhancement mode.. then click on Edit > Enhancement operations> Show implicit enhancement points.
This will hightlight all the enhancement points in your include program. Right click on exact enhancement point and select Enhancement Implementations --> Create,, It should give you the same Enhancement spot you are talking about. select that and write the code.. This code will be automatically appear in the same enhancement spot. You can see one more Enhancement implementation in the same Enhancement spot from the transaction code se19.

Create compensation process records-----add BADI in the standard program

hi: all.
here, the consultant require me add BADI implementation in the standard program HRECM_CREATE_COMP_PROCESS. follow is the budi implementation which i must add in:
1), add BDAI implementation of BADI HRECM00_ELIGIBILITY, and use the method CHECK_MICRO_ELIGIBILITY which used to check the eligibility of the person,
2),add 3 BDAI implementation of BADI HRECM00_MATRIX_SEGM, and use the method CALCULATE_SEGMENT_VALUE which used to calculate segment value,
3),add BDAI implementation of BADI HRECM00_GUIDELINE, and use the method EVALUATE_GUIDELINE which used to determin the amount adjusted for the person.
but the function consultant not sure what condition is satisfied, then the program will call this method, so he ask me to debbug the standard program to found the logic, but there is not data could used to debug the program ,so is there some guy know the logic of the standard programHRECM_CREATE_COMP_PROCESS ?

BADI are use to enhance the functionality of standard program.
BADI are similar to Uer-Exit with few differences like BADI are object oriented and you can have multiple implementation.
Tcode: SE18-> For BADI Definition.
SE19-> For BADI Implementation.
In SE18, you can find different methods in Interface tab and all the parameters you can use to customize to your req.
In SE19, you can create your implementation and pass all the parameters(as required) and Activate it.

How to find the Standard Program associated with a Standard IDOC

I am going work on enhancing the standard IDOC. Any body can suggest how to find a standard pogram associated with a Standard IDOC. And can any body send some exaple code for extending a standard IDOC and to implement the logic in the standard program .....

For outbound IDoc the program can be found:
1) For master IDoc via transaction BD60. Here for the message type you can find the function module used to generate the IDoc. Within this function module you can find the user exit where you can code your logic.
2) For IDocs with message control (output control) we maintain settings for proces code in WE41. This process code will lead to outbound IDoc generation program.
For Inbound IDoc the program can be found:
Via WE42 where inbound process and its related inbound function module is maintained.
In each cases above we can go the function module and find the customer exit where idoc enhancement logic can be coded.

It can be summarized as follows:
Enter transaction WE30 (ALE->Extension-> IDOC types->Maintain Idoc type)
- Type in your name of the extended IDOC type (usually starting with 'Z') and click on the Basic IDoc type, click the create icon.
- Click on Create new and enter a description and press enter.
- Click on ZIDOCTYPE01 and then on the Create icon.
- Enter ZIDOCTYPE as the segment type, click on Segment Editor.
- Enter a description for your segment type and create.
- Enter a description for your segment, enter each field required in your IDoc and press enter to validate.
- Save and generate, press back
- To release the segment choose Goto, Release from the menu.
- Check the box on the line of your segment.
- Save, back and enter.
- Your Idoc type structure should be displayed with your new segment.
- Save and back.
- To release the Idoc type choose Extras, Release type from the menu and Yes.

Calling the standard program in program and getting its output in int table

Hi there,
I have a requirement, where I need to call the standard program (of transaction CJI3) in my Y program. CJI3 transaction produces a ALV GRID output. I need to use that data for further processing. I am getting following problems:
1. I tried to use SUBMIT ... EXPORTING TO MEMORY statement. I need to pass the company code for the selection, but the company code is in the dynamic selection. So not getting how to pass them.
2. Just a doubt. Can we export the ALV GRID to the memory an retrieve it back using import?
3. I did tried to use SUBMIT ..... statement using only the parameters which are on the selection screen. However the control went to CJI3 transaction and gave an error message 'Please select "from database" or "from archive" '. Did not understood that, any IDEA?
Or is there any other way with which I can accomplish my requirement of getting the data in my program to manipulate, other than SUBMIT.

point 1:
SUBMIT ... EXPORTING TO MEMORY will never work, because it displays the information in an ALV grid and that grid is waiting for user interaction for manipulating the information.
point 2:
no, you cannot export the content of an ALV grid to the memory
point 3:
must you get records in an internal table or must you feed the transaction, so that this one performs a task ?? for first option read below and for the other option you might work with BDC and Transaction Recorder.
what you have to do is read the code of transaction CJI3 in order to understand what it does, where the information is read from and what is the internal table that passes the values to the ALV Grid. You might find a user exit in the code for manipulating that information or you might create an enhancement point if there´s no user exit.

Use
You use program RFBIBL00 to enter accounting documents and to clear open items.
Method
Program RFBIBL00 primarily transfers accounting documents using the batch input method. However, you can also generate documents immediately using call transaction or direct input by means of the "Data transfer type" parameter. Both of these procedures lead to improvements in system performance when transferring large quantities of data (more than 10,000 transactions).
Object-Specific Settings
With call transaction or direct input, documents are posted immediately to the SAP System. As a result, you need to ensure that if for any reason the program is terminated, it can be restarted without inconsistencies occurring in the data.

To enhance the batch input procedure, the system offers the direct input technique, especially for transferring large amounts of data. In contrast to batch input, this technique does not create sessions, but stores the data directly. It does not process screens. To enter the data into the corresponding database tables directly, the system calls a number of function modules that execute any necessary checks. In case of errors, the direct input technique provides a restart mechanism. However, to be able to activate the restart mechanism, direct input programs must be executed in the background only. To maintain and start these programs, use program RBMVSHOW or Transaction BMV0.

Hi Pramod,
The enhancement spots are used to manage explicit enhancement options. Enhancement spots carry information about the positions at which enhancement options were created. One enhancement spot can manage several enhancement options of a Repository object. Conversely, several enhancement spots can be assigned to one enhancement option.
Use
You create an explicit enhancement option when processing a Repository object with the relevant tool by creating an enhancement spot element definition at a point where this is possible. This enhancement option can then be called at different points using enhancement spot element calls. The enhancement spot element definition and the corresponding enhancement spot element calls make up the definition of an enhancement option. For example, when editing an ABAP program with the ABAP Editor, you can define explicit enhancement options in the form of the ENHANCEMENT-POINT statement, which also represents the element definition and element call.
Each enhancement spot element definition must be assigned to at least one enhancement spot. For this, an enhancement spot element definition is assigned one or more simple enhancement spots, which in turn are assigned to at least one composite enhancement spot. Simple and composite enhancement spots are Repository objects that form a tree-like structure, where the leaves and branches represent simple and composite enhancement spots respectively. A simple enhancement spot is always assigned to exactly one enhancement technology (ABAP source code enhancement or BAdI).
Composite enhancement spots are used for the semantic grouping of simple enhancement spots. A composite enhancement spot contains either one or more simple enhancement spots and/or one or more composite enhancement spots of the relevant type. You can use composite enhancement spots to combine simple enhancement spots into meaningful units.
The statement ENHANCEMENT-POINT can either be entered directly or created by choosing Edit → Enhancement operations → Create enhancement in the Enhancement Builder.

Error While executing the Standard Program RSEINB00

Hi,
I am trying to execute the Standard Program RSEINB00.
The input parameters for this program are
1. File path along with name
2. Port.
File path I am giving the application server directory along with the filename.
For port. i have created a port in WE21.
For both outbound parametes I selected the Physical directory and gave directory name and file name in both tabs and saved the port definition.
Now I am passing the port to the RSEINB00 program.
it is giving an error File cannot be opened.
Can any one help me on this. Can someone guide me how to use RSEINB00 to read file from application server.

I think,you missed out some steps while creating Port.so please follow the below steps to resolve the issue.
we21->click on your port number->outbound file tab->function module: EDI_PATH_CREATE_MESTYP_DOCNUM.
outbound file: give file name .txt.
and give the physical directory : /usr/sap/.......................................txt and save.
and click on 'ACESS TEST' button and check any error is coming.
go to outbound trigger tab-> give RFC destination name which we have created under a port in SM59.
and one more important thing is check your unicode status is active or not.

To implement code in Form exits you have to get the Access key, Your Admin/Basis can help you get the access key. Other way around is to use the implicit enhancement option.

Asset upload: Deactivation Date not available in the standard program(LSMW)

Hi,
I am trying to use the standard program for Assets upload,RAALTD01. But, the field de-activation date (ANLA-DEAKT) is not available for mapping. This is the only field am missing out of more than 200 fields involved in the upload. What would be the best approach inorder that I can use LSMW and at the same time map this deactivation date field ; provided we are not using the Recording method.

It is not possible to do this in the transaction AS91. When you are doing the take over during a fiscal year you have to go from the tab Asset values to Transactions and fill in there the ttype for deactivation.
Other wise you have to create a LSMW that is doing this deactivation after the upload

My requairment is to create the new Z function module ZJ_1B_IM_NF_DOCUMENT_FUNCTION in the MM07MFJ1 program.
I have created the Z Funtion module,
plz provide me the info how to change the call to the new custom FM from the standard program.

You use SE38 to change out the code. When you try and change it you will get a popup asking you for a Key, since you are changing SAP Code. If you have a Developers key you have to go to the SAP Service Marketplace and tell SAP that you are changing this code in order to get they key. After this every time you do support packs you run the risk of this getting overlaid and you will have to change it back, also if you have a problem and SAP sees that you customized this code they probably won't spend any time on your problem.

You can use a System Field SY-CPROG which gives you the Program Name.
This Varibale can be used to change the Program Name.
Try this Hope this will help you.
But i think this you would using to only call the PF-STATUS of this New Z Program.

Microsoft Safety Scanner or
Malicious Software Removal Tool to run a full scan.
The error messages here seems to be caused by the corrupted registries, which related with the folder association.
