Creating Service product in Interaction centre
Hi all ,
I have been going through the best practises doc for SAP-CRM 2007 (C78_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_DE)
and configuring accordingly. I strucked in creating service product(page-13). I couldnt find the below path
CRM WebClient UI menu------- Master Data -- Create: Service to go further.
I would highly appreciate if any one of you help me in creating service product for IC

Hi Sampath,
I am not sure how helpful this doc could be for you but try it. It gives process to create CRM Service Products using a Function Module.

For Creation of service Products in CS...
You will create a material/product using MM01 using item category Group DIEN and then you maintain that material in OISD
Path: Logistics --> Customer - Service --> Service Processing --> Environment --> Sales and Distribution --> Service Products or OISD
But Before performing this , Work centers has to be created, Task lists has to be prepared. Here we assign the Product to Work center, Task list, Task list group has to be created.

Error when creating service product category in Shopping cart
Hi ,
When I am creating a shopping cart for service type product category I am getting an error message
" Item 1 is created as service item. Please change it to goods".
Do I need to do some settings to enable shopping for service type?Hi,
First you need to publish your service which you would get from the dropdown fro utilities->setting->its->publish.
Also check in transaction SICF whether your serivce is actiavted- else activate the same. you can find your serivice under the following path

Objects in Service Interaction Centre
Hi CRM gurus,
I'm working with SAP CRM Service and I should use Objects, but I was not able to create them in the CRM system. I read the documentation provided on the SAP Help, and I understood the conceptual difference which exists between Installed Base, products and objects.
Nevertheless, actually I'm able to create products with the transaction COMMPR01, and add them to the IBases (IB51 - IB52); but I was not able to create Objects in the CRM system.
I should use Objects because i need to register the information on
1) purchase date
2) serial number
I should create Objects directly in the CRM system, not in R/3
Can anybody help me?

I resolved my problem!
Exaclty, through the transaction SU01 I assigned to my User the Parameter "COMMPR01_IND_OBJ" with value "X", and now I'm able to create objects in the Interaction Centre directly from the New Installed Base creation screen!

Multiple Service Products in Service Order ?
Hi,
I have the follg business process:
A customer sends, say, 1000 Pieces of a Product A for repair. Problem in each Piece may be different - some may require just cleaning, some may require Parts replacement etc., which is known only after carrying out the repair.
The Customer has fixed Service Charges based on the nature of repair undertaken (level of repair) and Parts consumed.
I have created Service Products (Mat Type DIEN) for each level of repair. I created Repair Order (Type RAS) and inwarded the 1000 Pieces.
Should we have Service Order for each Piece i.e., 1000 Service Orders ? Or is it possible to enter multiple Service Products and Qty ?

The level of Repair (Service Product) is determined based on 'Action Code (code to denote the action taken to rectify the problem in the Product)'. It is also imperative that the Technician should be allowed to select only those Components / Parts allowed for the Service Product.
Action carried out to repair is codified and is known only after repair. Hence segregating qty for each Service Product in the Repair Order itself is not possible here.
Is there a better approach to handle this business process ?

Service products and Warranties
Hi all,
Service products and warranties are created in CRM via transaction 'commpr01' .
I got to know that Service materials and warranties could also be created in R/3 system. If so which is the transaction to create service materials and warranties.
Also what is the advantage of creating "Service materials in R/3" over "Service products in CRM".
If we create "Service Products" in CRM and if we use the billling functionality of R/3 will the scenario work.. I mean do "Service Products" created in CRM are getting transfered to R/3. If it is transfered can I see the service Products in R/3 via 'MM03' transaction..
Any help is much appreciated.

I am trying to work with service products.
I created service products, in CRM standalone and trying to create number for product . Its saying that no group is available .
Can anyone tell me how to create numbering for service product. I know how to create number for sales products, but for service product its not allowing me.
And when I created hierarchy and category directly created with out using Y or Z.
One more question is can I create sales product and service products, warranty under one hierarchy ??. I tried to create in the same way but, under hierarchy its not allowing me to select multiple categorys for sales, service, warrantys.

0027-787082639no sarita. there is already a hierarchy R3PRODSTYP. under this u will see categories like MAT_ for materials, WAR_ for warranties and SER_ for service. u can create your respective categories under these. The default categories have product type specific set types and relationships already assigned to them( u can add ur own).
u need not create a hierarchy for each product type rather create a category for each product type under one hierarchy.

How to create a service product with a condition record?
Hi all
I'm quite new to CRM programming and I now need to create a service product with a condition record. For creating the product I use function COM_PROD_SERVICE_MAINTAIN_API and it creates a product propperly. The function offers parameter IT_CONDITIONS for creating conditions. But when you have a look at type COM_PRODUCT_CND_API_TAB of the parameter, then you will find a deeep tabletype with lots(!) of additional tables. In the conditions tab of the product I simply enter a Condition Type, a Sales Organization, a Distribution Channel, an Amount, a Currency and a Unit and everything is fine after saving.
Can anyone of you help me in how to set up parameter IT_CONDITIONS to get the above values into the product?

Service Product (Download from R3 or Create in CRM)
Hi, we are implementing service with R3 billing and were trying to determined if to download the service products from R3 or to create them in CRM and then upload them. Currently we have service products in R3 however it's not clear if it's a good idea to keep them now that we are integrating CRM.
From what we know, service products need to be mapped between CRM and R3 so that R3 billing can take place. In order to accomplished this, we can download them from R3 to CRM, but they are created as products of type material and not as services. If this is so, we assumed that we are loosing part of the functionality meant for service products.
On the other side, if we create them in CRM and upload them to R3 then we seem to have the integration and keep their functionality in CRM.
If this approach correct or actually it's a good idea to download the service products existing in R3?

Need to create a product in Service Oder
Hi Gurus,
Standard Contract---> Service Plan ---> Service Order
From Standard contract, I am creating a service plan through copy routine.
The std contract has 3 products with it. But the service plan is getting copied with only one product.
Now I am creating service order from Service plan. The service order has only one product which comes from service plan.
I need to add the remaining two materials also with the service product which is available in std contract.
Can you please advice me how to achieve this through BADI or FM?

How to creat CS-order with config service product with own logic
Hi all,
I saw already different threads related to this topic, however no clear solution was given yet.
The scenario is:
Create from a notification list the service orders and determine in the background a correct service product which is configurable. Via an own logic the service product is found in a z-table and and the configuration is done via a seperate logic.
What would be the solution of the above scenario.
I already found some information in using:
CUCB_GET_CONFIGURATION
CUCB_SET_CONFIGURATION
CUCB_CONFIGURATION_TO_DB
But does this work?
How should the logical flow be in using these functionmdules.
We are using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to create the service order, however it is not allowed in this bapi to enter a service product which is configurable.

END button disappears in interaction centre while creating transaction and moving back.
Hi All,
In interaction centre when I create a transaction and move back, END button disappears. This problem does not occur every time I go back. It is intermittent.
Can anyone give your thoughts on what might be causing this issue?

CRMCMP_IC_FRAME/HiddenView component CRMCMP_IC_FRAME to check END button functionality.In this view put the break point in event
EH_ONFORWARDCALL and check it.
Need to check about back button try to use this standard class : CL_BSP_WD_HIST_MANAGER_BASE , method ON_HISTORY_TRIGGER.

Interaction Centre: Survey not saved correctly
Hi,
We are using SAP CRM 5.0 Interaction Centre. While creating a customer feedback transaction with survey in Interaction Centre, following is the observation:
1. We open the customer feedback transaction, enter the mandate information in the details tab and save the transaction.
2. Then navigate to questionaire tab and fill-in the survey questions and save the survey.
3. Navigate back to details tab and save the transaction. The survey and the transaction are saved correctly. Instead, without navigating back to details tab, when we try to save the transaction from the questionaire tab, neither the survey nor the transaction is saved.
Recently the application was upgraded from SP15 to SP16.
Please provide your inputs in solving this issue.

Thanks for taking your time to answer my issue.
Actually we have two issue in this
1.When users press the End button, ideally, the current screens should be closed and default screen of Accoutn Identification should be shown.
This does not happen.
Actually, nothing happens when users press the End button.
Users cannot click on anything else too and the screen seems to be frozen.
Users have to close the IC session and relogin.
2.And one more issue is when user ends call by click on end button it goes to account identification but Name of the account still be there on top left top side where it shown account name. but it allows agent to take another call and create service ticket.
Please note that we are using CTI( Avaya phone)
Now since these two are an intermittent issues, i do not have reproduction steps.
