Creation of support message in SolMan without having user id in SolMan

Hi Everyone,
Need your help in this issue.
I have solution manager configured to create a service desk message from satellite system.
We dont want everyone (Users from satellite system) to have an SOLMAN user id to create a service desk message. We want that the users from the satellite system create a support message seamlessley without touching the solution manager.
What roles and authorization do we need to assign to each users in satellite system to create a suppport message in solution manager ( without having User id in SOLMAN).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Kuldeep Thakur,
the role is : SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_CREATE to be able to create message from satellite system to Solman.
That you will get the Reported by in the service desk message itself, you need to create the Business Partner (BP transaction) for this user and assign the BP to the user ID in transaction BP under Employee section indification.

  • Setting up Customised priorities in help- support message in solman

    Hi All,
We have defined some customised priorities for our requirement.
The Priorities are coming in crmd_order and in notif_create but these changes are not found in help->create msg.
The SPRO activity: SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide > SAP Solution Manager > Scenario-Specific Settings > Service Desk > Maintain Categories and Priorities > Maintain Priorities of Dates modified the priorities only in crmd_order transaction.
I have searched in sdn also but could not get much information on it.
The main problem is, in satellite system(ECC) they use help->create msg to create a support message. In which the customised prioties  are not coming.
Request your guidance in this issue.
    Regards,
    Subhashini.

    Hi
    Goto DNO_CUST01 in solman
now choose slf1 on the right side and then click priorities
here add more prirorities for you
But remember this will not enhance help -> create support message in solman or in satellite system
If you want customize in satellite also then modify the standard by develpment
    Hope it helps
    Regards

  • Why can't I delete all incoming messages at once without having to select each one first. It can be done while in the "Trash" folder, but not the "IN" folder.

Why can't I delete all incoming messages at once without having to select each one first. It can be done while in the "Trash" folder, but not the "IN" folder.

Well, what I see happing is this: Tapping edit and checking the first message brings up the “Delete” option. Holding it until the red message “Delete Message” appears, then letting go of the red button and tapping the checked button makes the “Delete Message” message go away. The checked message is still checked with an option to delete just that message. Tap the checked message again just cancels the whole process and I’m back to square one.
However, if I check a message that is part of a thread of messages and tap Delete, I have the option of deleting all messages in the thread.
Perhaps the fact that I’m using the 3rd generation of the iPad is the problem, but your suggestion isn’t working.

  • Creation of support message from Webserver like CRM, XI

    Hi Gurus,
Can anyone guide me, how to Create support message from Webserver like CRM, XI.
I could configure from GUI Based systems like ECC, SCM.
But i don't know how to configure for CRM, XI etc..,Java based web applications.
    Pls guide me.

try maybe using the web interface service desk application. the same one that you find in the incident management workcenter when you choose New Message.

  • Send email immediately on creation of support message

How do I set up system to create an email automatically immediately when a support message has been created.
I can get it right to send an email when the status change. But then the message only get send once someone is attending to the message and he/she changes the status.
The reason for this is to send and email with the notification number and description back to the user that he/she can keep as a reference. It can sometimes take more than 2 hours before someone actually open a support message and change the status on that support message.
Therefore I presume that you will not be using an action then or would you still use an action.
    Thank you

Please just clarify the following for me.
    SAP note 1041455 refer:
    1) Copy the BAdi - I did use SE19:
    1a) I copy the BAdi: CRM_DNO_PARTNER1 to  ZCRM_DNO_PARTNER1
I also copied the imp.Class: now called :ZCL_IM_ZCRM_DNO_PARTNER_1
1b) The note ask me to assign new filter value (Method)
What must be done here in this step?
    1c) I changed the code.
1d) I SAVED but could not activate it, becuase I get message that say the value
          is not unique.
So I presume it has to do with adding the new filter value that must be added
in 1b). Must I select a new filter value from the list or must I just type
in a new value name like "ZCRM_DNO_PARTNER1" and then try and
activate this new BAdi. Currently the value that is here in the filter value is
          ZCRM_DNO_PARTNER1.
    2) Customsing.
The note refer to the action definition that uses the BAdi and assign the
new filter value in the processing settings of your action.
Can you maybe just eloborate to what to do.
    Thanks
    JB

  • How do I import an image to a message I'm composing in messages for mac without having to use image capture?

When I try to do this, I right-click in the compose area and click on "import image" and all I get is the image capture window which doesn't show anything.  How do I do it from iphoto or another location such as the pictures folder?

I think that command is for getting a picture directly from a scanner or camera.
Just drag the photo you want from iPhoto onto the messages window.

  • How to create a time event without having user interface freeze

    Hi,
I am new to labwindows and i am trying to create a time event where every hour for 24 hours i want my program to write somethign in excel.
I tried using function Delay and SyncWait and those functions freezes up the user interface.
    Any tips/help will be appreciated.
    Thank You
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Many, if not most, CVI developers wind up implementing a delay function for themselves that periodically, during the delay, wakes up and processes events so that the GUI isn't frozen.
The idea is to break the wait or delay up into pieces, and process system events in between each piece.
A timer works too, you can try the async timer that Wolfgang mentioned, it runs a bit better and on a separate thread, so it lets you do what you normally would with the main thread and the GUI, yet still get timer function.   If you use a smart delay, you still wind up doing nothing a great deal of the time, and events are only processed periodically.

  • How to Create Support Message with no SolMan User

    Hi all,
I would like to test if it is possible to create a support message from ECC system, if the same user do not have a SolMan user.
Now, in few other threads, like
Creation of support message in SolMan without having user id in SolMan
Re: Do End User Require Login in Solman to raise Support Messages !!
show to the user there support message list
    e.t.c.
it is clearly stated: it is possible.
I have done the next steps:
    In ECC:
    - created a test user
    - assighned him a "sap_all" profile (and "Z_SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_CREATE" role) + user comparasion
    - assighned him a "Z_SAP_S_RFCACL" role + user comparasion
    In Solman:
    - No user created
    - In TX DNO_CUST04 the Field Name "NO_USER_CHECK" is maintained with the value "X".
    - In tx BP business partner is created as a general BP, with valid external SYS ID no (other users with both ECC and SM user are OK), and changed to "employee" with ECC username defined.
Now, the problem is when I try to create a support message as a test user in ECC, I get an error:
"Error in Local Message System: No authorization to logon as trusted system (Trust Message was Not Created"
All I could find is the tread:
    solution maanger issue
and this one is basicly different:
the mentioned user has both ECC and SM user.
And one of the answers was the user must have S_RFCACL roles in BOTH ECC ans SM systems...
In ST22 (in solman) I get error description:
" An RFC call (Remote Function Call) was sent with the invalid user ID
      "TEST_T01230 "
. Or the calling system is not registered as trusted system in the
    target system."
Now, the calling system IS regged as a trusted sys (as I mantioned - other users with both ECC and SM users can send supp. msgs)
So -  the only answer is "invalid user ID".
    The short message is
" No authorization to logon as trusted system (Trusted RC=0)"
and  the trusted return codes ( 0 ) have the following meaning:   Invalid logon data (user ID and client) for the trusting system.
So. how can I perform trusted Logon with no user in SM?
    Thank you in advance,
    cheers
    Nenad

    Hi again,
    thank you for your help.
At first I thought you meant *_back dest. directly in SM, and now I see you ment to use SMSY to go to ECC sys, and maintain the RFC conns on ECC diredtly from SMSY, "clean-up RFC Destinations". Yes, can do
    So:
    The problem is solved.
I deleted the *_back user from ECC to SM, and re-generated the connection with default system pre-defined user SMB_T01. (it is interesting that SU01 reports - user SMB_T01 does not exist)
I even deleted a SRFCACL role from the test user in ECC, and the user was still able to create the support message (certanly he was, as he uses a *:back rfc with SMB_T01to log on to SM)
    So, resume:
To be able to create / send a support message from another system, with no user in SolMan, it is needed:
    - a user in other system with roles needed for everyday work, +  "Z_SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_CREATE" role;
    - a not trusted SM_<SID>CLNT<CLNT_NB>_BACK rfc connection from satelite system to SolMan, with defined logon user (with apropriate authorisations) - generated by the system.
    -  the BCOS_CUST table in ECC system should be onfigured like: OSS_MSG W SM_<SID>CLNT<CLNT_NB>_BACK CUST 620 1.0
    - a Business Partner for user in SM with identification number for system from where the massege will be sent from. (the user can send the note with out this condition, but the "created by" field in message will be empty in that case)
    Once again thank you,
    cheers,
    Nenad
    Case closed.

  • Configuration in Solman and Satellite system for Support message creation ?

    Hi ,
I want to send a support message to solman from the ( help menu -> create support message )
    of my satellite system.
any one tell me the settings that i have to make in both the sattelite system and the solman  for sending a support message.

    Hi,
the necessary steps are described in Solution Manager IMG documentation.
Also you can find that information in the web blogs in this forum.
    In a nutshell:
    - activate Service Desk in Solution Manager (incl. BC-Sets)
    - maintain System Landscape, RFCs and iBase
    - create key users (business partners)
    - maintain number ranges
    - assign roles
    - maintain table BCOS_CUST in satellite system
You should just follow the corresponding customizing steps in tx: SPRO.
    /cheers

  • How to restrict usage of "Create Support Message" action in Help menu

    Dear Experts,
hoping someone can help me to find a solution to this:
in our company we are building a business process so that not everyone should be able to open a new support message under maintenance cycle, but only "Power Users" - we call them BPE for Business Process Experts.
All the rest business comunity should filter their inquiries thru BPE's, and if BPE decides that Support Message is required, then (s)he will use the Create Support Message function under Help main menu.
Is there any way in SAP to restrict usage of "Create Support Message" function to only a group of people (BPE) by security or other means, so that it's invisible (or not executable) by other people ?
    Thank you in advance
    Elena

    Hi,
You can restrict the creation of support message thru the Auth Obj CRM_ORD_PR.
    Thnx,
    Waseem.

  • Support Messages' Creator Name Which Comes From Satallite

    Hello dear gurus,
The problem is, the system does not copy the user name who reports a Support Desk message (Notification creator) into the Support Desk message creator tables or change log information tables.. The problem is exactly about OSS note 805517, but it is just mentioned about BP. Although BP is ok, when user create support message, the system writes RFC user for message creater. Any idea?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
It is becos of the login details you have provided while creating your RFC connection. You have provided the standard RFC user logon credentials to be used.
Change that to "Current User". In this way, the creator will be the user who is actually raising the issue.
But pls make sure that you have same userid in both SolMan and satellite systems and also you have appropriate BPs created in the SolMan system.
    Hope it solves ur pbm.
    best regds,
    Alagammai.
