Creative e-mail customer support prob

Hello,
I'm having trouble with my sound card and have sent a couple e-mails to customer support. They aren't replying to them - I'm not even getting an auto response confirming it was sent. What's up with that?

If you aren't receiving any auto-responses, chances are your email never arri've to Customer Support or it's trap within your email spam filter/trap(if you have one). If there is a spam trap or spam filter on your e-mail, check there to see if the replies might be there.

    I'm calling my local news station FOX 6 and they help people who are being screwed by big companies. This will be all over the local area and will give them a bad rep, must let people know they do not take care of thier customers. Man they remind me of this government and I am saying both sides of it. And what is funny is that I called the other day to find out why my mic won't work in the front when speakers are plugged in the back. The lady daid she could not help me since my time was up for the free Tech Support and could not help because she would lose her job if she did. And this is no bull and was shocked that something like that would happen for just helping me with my question. I was told to go to the forums and find the answer......What a joke that is. And i'm not saying people in here do not help but CL gave me info on what to do and it did work then it did not??
    HOW LONG DOES ONE HAVE TO WAIT FOR A FIX, I JUST GOT THIS CARD FOR MY 34 BIRTHDAY SO DO I HAVE TO WAIT TILL I'M 35 IN JANUARY???

  • Creative "Customer Support" Is A Total Joke

    I've had my Zen MX for about 2 months now & have e-mailed customer support 3 times regarding 3 seperate issues. The routine is pretty much the same in every case:
    . I e-mail them with a problem
    2. They scan my e-mail, pick out a couple of key words, & refer me to one or two of the FAQ's.
    3. I respond that I have previously read all the FAQ's and that the ones they referred to had nothing at all to do with my problem.
    4. They respond with "I don't have an answer at this time but your problem will be referred to our "escalation team."
    5. Some one from the "escalation team" suggests that I do the clean-up & reboot procedure.
    6. I respond that I've already done that.
    7. They respond with "you need to update your firmware".
    8. I respond that I've already done that.
    9. They respond with they have no solution for my problem but that it will be referred to the technical people.
    0. I never hear from them again.
    I would strongly suggest that Creative fire all the support people and with the money they save, make some improvements to their products such as:
    a) Get rid of that horrible Centrale program and give us one that actually works once in a while.
    b) Fix the firmware so that music (or videos) in the main player integrate with files in the memory card.
    c) Improve the product so that it doesn't die 0 seconds after the warrenty expires.
    BTW, the good folks on this board helped me with all 3 of my issues...thanks.

    A couple of years ago I had a problem with the headphones connection on my Creative MP3 player due to it having been dropped. I sent off an email requesting the name and address of their nearest service agent to see if it could be repaired. Their reply was to ask what was wrong with it. I told them to which they replied that it was not under warranty any more. I advised them that I was aware of that and was happy to pay for any repairs. Their answer was that it was not under warranty and could not be repaired.
    Remember that the original question was for the name and address of a service agent.
    From this one can draw one of two conclusions. Either they have no service agents or they are all totally incompetent.
    With nothing to loose I oulled the player apart and with a $.50 tube of super glue and 5 minutes of my time it was up and running perfectly. 8 months later it gave up the ghost and was replaced with an Ipod which has performed faultlessly.

  • Customer support - how do I get them to talk to

    I have a problem with my zen nano plus - it keeps losing its display. I bought it last September but have only been using it since November as Amazon delayed shipping it. Whatever its still under warranty.
    I first started e-mailing Customer Support early in June and they were very helpful but all the ideas they suggested simply did not work . Eventually I think they accepted that. About a fortnight ago I got a message which asked for more information , but which also gave me the impression that they may be intending to deli'ver a replacement or at least an envelope to return my faulty machine in. On the other hand it may be that the information I provided was insufficient.
    Since then I have heard nothing and they have not responded to my E mails asking for a response or at least an acknowledgement of my reply.
    So I am sending this in the hope that someone in their customer support will read it and e mail me with an update or send me a telephone number so I can speak to a human being!

    As long as the application is in the Applications folder and its permissions are not restricted to you, your husband can use the application from his account unless his is a managed account. If he has an admin account then he should have open access unless the application's permissions are wrong. This may happen if an application is installed by drag and drop instead of with a proper installer. In the former case the application takes on permissions for the user who installed it.
    A properly installed application in the Applications folder should have these permissions:
    Owner=system with r/w privileges
    Group=admin with r/w privileges
    Other with read-only privileges
    You can check and change these by selecting the application and pressing COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. The information is in the Ownership and Permissions pane of the window. To make changes you need to click on the little lock icon and authenticate with your admin password.

  • Lost prints order - No acceptable customer support options

    You just tell me if this is the way to treat loyal customers:
    12/6 (Wednesday) - placed order, selected express shipping
    12/7 (Thursday AM) - received "shipment" e-mail
    12/11 (Monday) - Order still did not arrive. I checked the status, and it showed that it had "shipped." But when I ran the tracking number with FedEx, it revealed that the only status entry was "Dec 7, 2006 6:01 AM Package data transmitted to FedEx." In other words, FedEx never even received the package from Apple's vendor!
    12/11 (Monday-same day) - E-mailed customer support (since there's no one to call), asking that they re-ship the order. I never received a response to this e-mail.
    12/14 (Thursday) - Having received no response to the 12/11 e-mail, I e-mailed again.
    12/15 (Friday) - Received e-mail response (to the 12/14 e-mail), blaming it on FedEx ("It seems though, that the package was never retrieved by FedEx."), refunding my money, and saying I would have to place the order again.
    Of course, this means I would place the order when I get home, after business hours, it would ship Monday (or Saturday at best), and likely not arrive until Wednesday, even with express shipping. This is too late for me to put the photos in frames and ship them out to relatives.
    Again, if Apple's service either A) had a phone customer service line, or B) responded to e-mails in a timely fashion, then even with the lost shipment, I could have re-submitted the order on the 11th, still in time. Instead, I must now go print the photos at a retail photo shop.
    I've been very happy with the book printing service, but the print service is terrible. My last order, in early November, took 5 days more than the estimated time to arrive.
    This is not the way to keep customers.

  • Creative's Customer Support Warra

    Hello, I recently sent back my Zen Micro to Creative. It arri'ved on the 25 of February I believe, and ever since then I have been trying to contact Creative's customer support about the status of my Zen Micro. I have sent 2 e-mail messages to the customer support, and I have received no reply. I included the original receipt and the information that was requested. Is Creative ripping me off or what?

    Just how do you think they are ripping you off ?
    You sent it on 25th .. so a day or 2 to get there ... and the weekend in between .. then a few days for them to check out your problem (which you didnt mention by the way ) then i guess a couple of days to send it back to you ... so i guess you should expect it any day soon ... they might not have replied to your emails because they are still researching the probs with yours.
    Dont stress it will be sorted i'm sure ... i know its a pain .. have patience

    Robertdaw and MyName LOL! please utilize a different web browser.  If you continue to face difficulties then I would recommend beginning the installation process through the Creative Cloud Desktop directly.  You can find details at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.

  • Creative Cloud opens, then halts and says "download error - please call customer support".  Do I have too?

    I have installed and uninstalled creative cloud app multiple times. Each time I get the same error. "download error Please contact customer support. I have checked to see that the aamdetect plugin is installed. I have restarted safari. I have read every help page I can find. I am using a new MACPRO and transferred files from my IMAC. HELP
