Lost prints order - No acceptable customer support options

You just tell me if this is the way to treat loyal customers:
12/6 (Wednesday) - placed order, selected express shipping
12/7 (Thursday AM) - received "shipment" e-mail
12/11 (Monday) - Order still did not arrive. I checked the status, and it showed that it had "shipped." But when I ran the tracking number with FedEx, it revealed that the only status entry was "Dec 7, 2006 6:01 AM Package data transmitted to FedEx." In other words, FedEx never even received the package from Apple's vendor!
12/11 (Monday-same day) - E-mailed customer support (since there's no one to call), asking that they re-ship the order. I never received a response to this e-mail.
12/14 (Thursday) - Having received no response to the 12/11 e-mail, I e-mailed again.
12/15 (Friday) - Received e-mail response (to the 12/14 e-mail), blaming it on FedEx ("It seems though, that the package was never retrieved by FedEx."), refunding my money, and saying I would have to place the order again.
Of course, this means I would place the order when I get home, after business hours, it would ship Monday (or Saturday at best), and likely not arrive until Wednesday, even with express shipping. This is too late for me to put the photos in frames and ship them out to relatives.
Again, if Apple's service either A) had a phone customer service line, or B) responded to e-mails in a timely fashion, then even with the lost shipment, I could have re-submitted the order on the 11th, still in time. Instead, I must now go print the photos at a retail photo shop.
I've been very happy with the book printing service, but the print service is terrible. My last order, in early November, took 5 days more than the estimated time to arrive.
This is not the way to keep customers.

    Makes sense. Then what is the difference between "Fix FIOS TV Issues" and "Auto-correct STB/DVR". Since they are separate items under Customer Support, I assume they do something different.

  • R12: PO Print report not accepting custom layout

    Hi All,
    PO Print report is not picking up the custom layout in R12.
    We have developed a custom layour ( .rtf).It works fine when run as a concurrent program.
    But if we follow the standard navigations ( Inquire/View document ) generates the standard report only.
    If any body has worked on similar type of issue anytime please let me know.

    We are using r12-12.1.1.
    Still this bug is not rectified(6806428). Oracle has taken up new Enhancement request 9264442.
    Funny that it will rectified in next version .
    This db flaw in india localization which doest allow to pick sum of each taxes.

    Have you closed the Canvas? Have you gone to  the menu Window > Canvas to toggle it on?
    If so and it has not appeared, have you moved the Canvas so that it is hidden, or mostly off screen?  Type Control - U  to reposition all windows in their standard position.
    Is the timeline missing as well? If so go to the menu File > New > Sequence and create a new sequence. Does it reappear then?
    If all this does not help, then your preferences may have become corrupt and you many need to trash them. Go to:

    Again, if you are following this procedure and it is not working, try trashing your preferences.

    Your Mac should be turned off / restarted using the command in the Apple Menu. Use the power button only for emergency shut down

  • Lost Playbook Painful BUT Customer Support Eases Pain

    I don’t know who can communicate this up and down your Service Support management but please make it happen.   
    If anyone has experienced the theft of your playbook, you know it can be real emotional event.
    I had mine stolen last week. I did have the security turned on, password protected. After 5 tries the playbook erases all data and becomes a zeroed out device. You can re-load all data and settings IF you backed it up, BlackBerry Desktop. I also had my serial number (kept the original box) my Blackberry ID.
    All that being said, I don't want anyone to benefit from a new Playbook so I called BlackBerry Customer Support, 877-644-8405.
    I was connected without a long wait and the Customer Rep professionally and quickly took all my information. She assured me that once the information was registered no one would be able to register this device nor receive any application downloads.
    Further I was called in less than 10 minutes by another Customer Representative who sent me a verification email and asked for confirmation of S/N and other data. I sent that email back to him and was told that he would call me back later this week. Even better, they will call me if Anyone attempts to register or download any apps.
    Now despite anyone's personal feelings about RIM, Playbook or Blackberry this is the kind of professional, business-like service one would expect from BlackBerry . I have another Playbook ordered and will have a new device this week.
    If your device is stolen or lost, BlackBerry Customer Support will react quickly.

    No.  Apple only keeps the pdf file for a book for 30 days.  Without the library and book project you won't be able to reorder the same book.

    Doesn't matter what type of network printer I select.  When selecing to print a document, under Page Sizing & Handling, there is no "Custom Scale" option.  There is on other workstations.

    Very strange.  The only thing I can suggest is to update to 11.0.5.

    Update it from iTunes on a computer as described at the bottom of this article; devices running an iOS version prior to 5.0 can't be updated straight from the device. Unless limited by the device's hardware, it will be updated to iOS 6.1.3.

  • Sony repair center lost my phone. Customer support is hanging up on me.

    I really hope someone can help me or at least point me in the right direction. I sent in my xperia z3 d6603 for repair over 3 months ago. 2 weeks later I was informed the repair was complete and the phone was being shipped back to me. A week later, having still not receieved the phone, I checked the tracking number and saw that Sony had contacted UPS and requested the phone be returned to them. This is the last I ever heard of the phone. I called support and was told I would be contacted by the repair center. I was never contacted. I called several more times and was told someone would contact me. I still have not been contacted. I still call the support center every few days in the hope someone can help me. The support reps either lie and tell me the phone is in the mail and I will receive a tracking number which never comes, or they simply put me on hold until I am disconnected. I don't know who else to contact. This has been going on for over 3 months now and its starting to seem like I will never get my phone back. I don't know who else to contact since customer support doesn't seem to have the ability to resolve this issue.

    I'm sorry to hear that but if UPS lost the phone I believe there's an insurance that will cover this issue. Also it'll be wise to contact BBB http://bbb.org/
