My info recored is combination of material, plant, vendor as well as purchase organization.
But while creating PO as per above process  system shows error meeage for enter purchase organization ? Why ?
it is already their in info record number for which I want to create PO
Can it possible to create PO with referance to info record only

Hi,
System picks the information like conditions, scales ,vendor material number, and tolerances from inforecord but will not refer organisation data.If you give vendor ,Organisation detail and material system will pick other information from info record.

  • Vendor Hierarchy with Pricing from Info Record

    Hi All,
We are currently exploring configuration options available to use a 'Vendor Hierarchy' for price determination during Purchase Order processing - R/3 46C
We also have a specific business requirement that requires our Vendor Hierarchy node prices be maintained in an Info Record (using a 'PB00' type condition type) rather than the 'LH01' and 'LH02' condition types used to maintain price conditions directly in the Vendor Hierarchy.
Does anyone know if it is possible to combine a Vendor Hierarchy with pricing that is sourced from Info Record rather than the standard 'LH01' and 'LH02' Vendor Hierarchy pricing conditions in the standard system?
    Thanks,

  • PR source assign with validy of info record

    Hi,
I have the below requirements. When ever I run the MR57 program system should assign the source with current validity in the info record.
Where I do the step. I thing we have to do in user exit ME57 correct. Pl advice.
    Regards,
    kumar

    Hello,
    Please note the following points:
    > If you set a deletion flag for the Inforecord, your integration model will CIF it across to APO and will block the external procurement relationship and therefore no Purchase reqs will be created in PP/DS run. Ofcourse the SNP run will any way generate P.reqs without any source.
    > If the user wants to create Purchase reqs with out source, de-assign the material at the vendor (source) location in APO manually from the active model. (/sapapo/mat1). In this case for sure the P.reqs will be created with out the source location in PP/DS run . If you carry out a SNP run at this point of time, for the P.reqs that were created during the planning run no source is displayed in Product view, but in planning book the source is displayed
Let me know if this works.
    Thank you,
    KC.

  • New info record with same details as archive one.

    Hi Experts,
Due to some issue we want to archieve some standard info record which are created on vendor / material group / plant  basis. My query is does system allows to create new info record with same vendor / material group / plant combination after archiving earlier record which is on same basis.
    Thnaks & Regards
    Vinay

    Hi Jurgen,
    Thanks for reply.
Our issue is while creating work order(IW31) having external services upon entering info record number in some cases in same client rate is picked up from info record condition but some times from last purchase order based on info update.
    We have checked following points.
1.In all the cases work order type  is same.
2.Info record are of standard type with same condition.info record are for vendor & material group combination.
3.Checked after changing rate in info record and in purchase order but similar issue exists
    4.Compare vendor master also.
5.Their are no contract /sch.agreement for vendors.
Our requirement is to have rate from info record in all the cases in work order. So have two options.
1.Archiving info record-But will need setting in SPRO and also need to create same record again with same combination. Also as their are recent purchase order against those info record not sure whether system will allow or not.Can you please tell what are prerequiste for archiving info record.
    or
2.To remove only purchase order number updated in EINE table in those info record where this issue is occuring. We have checked in development system and after removing purchase order number in EINE table it picks up rate from info record.
So thought of checking before removing order ref.from EINE table.
    Thanks

  • Where it is advisable to store PRICE - Info record or condition record

    Hi Gurus,
I maintained a pricing procedure and PO is taking price from the condition record maintained. I would like to know why we have to maintain a condition record, we can maintain the Price and other condition types in info record itself...
So my question is where we have to store prices, ie. in info record or in condition record...in which all cases we'll go for maintaining condition records...
    thanks in advance...
    robin

    Hello,
We stored prices in info records.
In info records you will get updated price.Short for "(purchasing) information data record". Provides concise information on a vendor and a material that you already procure from the former. The info record thus represents a vendor-material relationship.
The purchasing info record permits the purchasing department to obtain data such as the following:
which materials has a certain vendor submitted quotations for or supplied to date?
which vendors have quoted prices for or supplied a certain material?
It may essential if you want to create automatic purchase order with in connection with MRP.(It always refers to info record)
Always refer to purchasing info record.

  • Purchasing Info Record

    Dear Group Members
    1. How Purchase info is created automatically?
Purchase info record is not updated when we use ordering measure in PR
(followed the instruction as per sap help)
I donu2019t want to change Purchase info
details as followed from SAP HELP DOCUMENT
    Message No : ME898
UNIT H is not intentend as an order unit
    System Response:
The system check whether the order unit you entered is allowed for this purchase order by comparing the order unit you entered with the order unit that the system determined
The system check the potential source of the order unit in the given sequence. if a source is not available (if the purchase order is not referenced to a preceding document for example ) then the system checks the next possible source ( such as purchase requisition ):
1 If you create a PO with reference to a proceeding document (PO, Contract or request for quotation), the system copies the order unit from the preceding document. The Var. OUn (variable order unit) indicator must not be selected in the Purchase info record
2 If you create a po with reference to PR and the var, OUn indicator is selected in the purchasing info record, the system copies the order unit from purchase requisition.
In Enjoy PR ( ME51N)you can maintain the order unit on the item detail screen on the sorce of supply tab. in the normal PR (ME51)you can maintain the order unit on the item details screen
3 When the Purchasing info record for the combination of vendor and material exists, the system copies the order unit from the purchasing info record
4 IF you create a purchase order with reference to PR and VAr .OUn is not selected in the purchasing info record, the system copies the order unit from the purchasing requisition
5 If you create a purchase order with reference to a pr and their is no existing purchase info record for the combination of vendor & material , then the system copies the unit of measure from the PR item in the item overview.
6 If you create a normal purchase order the system copies the order unit the material master
7 When you create a stock transport order the system copies the unit of measure from material master
8 If order unit and the unit of measure were not defined in the material master the system copies the material master base unit of measure
You people guide me how can i update Purchase info record?

    Hi ! Jason M.
    I checked the below configuration
SPRO - MM - Purchasing - Purchase order - Define screen layout at doc.level - Select ME21N - details - administrative data, item - Info update (optional or required).
In my configuration screen  Info update is optional
Even though info records are not updated
    My Query
PR Unit of measure is created in each, PO  had  created in each in the month of June & info records are in each fo the vendor
Now the Purchase group realize that the PO should be in Days
We made the changes in Material master ordering unit of Measure in days  DAY
    A) If we Crete PO system will not allow to save PO in days  but only allows to save in Unit of measure as EA
    B) If PO created by removing the info record  PO is saved in unit of measure as days with the same info record
But info records are not updating  Pleas provide some solution solve this

  • Purchasing Info Record marked for deletion

    Hi experts,
I need some explanation on Purchasing Info Records and more precisely on the deleted ones.
Could you tell me why a Purch. Info Record that is marked for deletion is still set when a PO is created?
In ME13 I have the following warning message : 06-718 (Purchasing info record & & & & flagged for deletion).
In ME21N the same message is displayed as warning and users are able to save the PO with the deleted Info Record.
I don't understand why SAP still retrieves Info Records that are marked for deletion...
Is there a way to prevent SAP from using deleted info records?
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards,
    Philippe

    Hi Philippe,
The message  06718 can be set as an error or warning in customising.
If message 06718 is set as error then system will not allow to save
the document with that info record.
The deletion indicator is the reservation to delete this record. But
this is not comparable with the deletion of the record from the database
This has to be done within the archiving run for the object MM_EINA.
Untill this inforecord is not archived the data is taken as usual."
Online documentation provides the following information
"You cannot delete obsolete info records immediately. You can
only flag them for subsequent deletion. Info records earmarked for
deletion in this way are not actually deleted until the archiving
program is run. This is done at regular intervals by your system
administrator. You can flag an individual info record for deletion,
or create a list of deletion proposals and choose the relevant records
that are to be deleted from this list."
    Kind regards,

  • Q info record without revision level

    Hi
I found out that if the materials is manage by revision level, if the q info record is not maintain by revision level, it will not take effect. This meaning, that the q info record now need to be maintain by revision level as well, additional work.
Anyone come across that it is possible not to maintain the revision level in q info record and it is still working even though materials is manage by revision level and PO is created with revision level.
    care to share?

    Dear Danny
Yes if the material is maintained with revision level , then quality info record has to be maintained accordingly
I think you can try with this BADI  and create with one quality info record applicable for all the revision of the material
    QB_Q_INFO_RECORD.
The four reference fields in the Q-info record - material, plant, revision level, and vendor - can be changed using this BADI.This enables a reduction in the number of Q-info records. A single Q-info record can refer to different combinations of the fields mentioned above

  • Flag Purch info record

    Hi Experts,
Can every one describe the Flag purchasing info record..
    Thanks In Advance....
    Kind Regards
    Yogesh

    Hi Yogesh,
As SantoshSP said if you do not want to use your info records (or  extensions of them) you can mark them with DF and later you can archive them.
You can also use tr. ME15 directly to flag them.
For instance, your info record was created by mistake (e.g. through a PO), or it became obsolate you can get rid of it by marking it with DF.
Info records that are out of use may cause problems in your system (e.g. in case of costing or when you want to create PO from PurReq...depending on your settings of course...)

  • Costing run with values for material from info record.

    Hi All
there is requirement with my client, that when i run my costing run the values of the components in BOM should be from the latest purchase order.
For this i am maintined valuation criteria as price from info record and sub strategy as gross price from PO.
When i am create a PO the info record is created automatically in background. So when i run costing run the value is picked correctly.
Now when i create a PO with same material from diff vendor the info record is generated, but on costing run it picks the value from the info record of earlier vendor. For this i go and check the conditions tab in info record, ensure its balnk and save it. Again generate new PO and then run a costing run. This time the system reads the latest info record.
My problem is that i want to ensure that during the costing run, system should read the latest info record w/o manual intervention. System behaviour is not consistent when there is multiple vendor and same material info records. Sometimes it pick up the value and sometimes it refers the old info record.
Can any one help me out in resolving this issue. Its critical.
    Regards
    Rakesh

    Hi!
Generally first info records will be created with vendor, then PO will be created, based on info records price, price will be updated in PO.
If you have more than one vendor for same material, you have to create info records for each vendor. then you need to maintain source list, where you can fix the vendor. If there is no fix vendor, then you can do schedule agreement with vendors, where you have to give proportionate percentages again each vendor.
    Now for costing run :
    1. if you have only one info record, the price will take from that info record.
    2. if you have more than one info record, you need to mantain source list, where you can tick the fixed vendor, then system will take price from that vendor info record.
    3. if there is no fixed vendor and you have maintained scehduel agreement with weightage to vendor, then higher percentage vendor info record price will be picked up.
    4. if you have more info reocrds, not maintianed source list or schedule agreement, price will be picked up from first info record ( based on info record creation date).
    5. if you have a schedule agreement, but you have given equal weightage for example 50% and 50%, then also system will pick up from first info record.
i think it is clear now.

  • Scheduling agreement update with Info record

    Hi,
My company is working with scheduling agreement both with external vendors and Inter company purchasing. SA is created for a long term (in years) but the price negotiation takes place for a shot duration (One year or less). The requirement is that whenever the Purchase Info record is updated (by department X), it should automatically update the relevant SA (created/updated by department Y). Any delivery schedule created after new effective PIR price, should have the new price and if there is no price in PIR for that date it should throw an error...
    Thanks is advance
    Manu

    Hi..
Can anyone tell me the user exit that I can use to update price in related scheduling agreements when any purchase info record is changed...
and another to check purchase info record at the time of delivery schedule creation to see if any valid purchase info record exists ..

  • Item text in Purchase Order getting updated with info. record Purchase Order Text

    Hello All,
I am working in a roll out project and facing issue in text repeating twice for the line item in the Purchase Order for the new company code for which rollout is happening
    Issue:
Item text in Purchase Order getting updated with info. record Purchase Order Text
    01) PO Text is maintained in the material master under "Purchase Order Text" tab
    02) The PO text that is maintained in material master is getting updated in the Purchase Info. Record
    03) When Purchase Order is created, the "Item Text" gets updated in the Purchase Order automatically only for the new company code for which rollout is happening. when printed, this results in the text getting duplicated twice
03.1) this behavior is not observed in the Plants/ Company code that is already Live
    Configurations in the system:
The copying rules for the "Texts for Purchase Orders" is
Source Object = "Info Record", Source Text="Purchase Order Text", Fix="*"
We have modified the Purchase Order form to print one of  the condition types maintained for calculating the tax. Other than this there is no change to the plants that are already live.
I could not locate any "Purchase Organization" / "Company Code" / "Plant specific configuration.
Am I missing any configuration or where can I look in what is causing this error.
Request help from the experts in the forum.
    with Regards,
    Dhandapani R

There is no company/purchasing/plant specific customizing for purchase order text.
The customizing copying rules for the "Texts for Purchase Orders" affects all equally .
If the text in the purchase order in ME23N is already filled different to other plants, then you either have a modification in place, or the texts are differently maintained in the referenced data (vendor, material, info record, contract)

  • Info record report with sub ranges

    Hello there,
I've been searching the net for a while to find out whether there's already existing program in SAP that shows you info record report. I've found t-codes ME1L, ME1M, etc., but even though you can filter materials by subranges on an entry screen, the report itself does not have the column with subranges. So just before I will apply an IT request I wanted to ask is there's such report in SAP after all or not.
    thanks
    V.E.

Yea, I know that, but in our company we're restricted from SQVI use (we have access to SQVI only on test server), so i'm actually looking for program... well, since there's no such report in SAP, looks like i'm gonna apply for it
    thanks

  • Info Record with  Vendor Evaluation

    Hi gurus.
I'm activating Vendor valuation functionality at ECC6.0, so I have defined the following:
    Main Criteria . 05-Services
Subcriteria           1- Quality Services with scoring method C
2-Services timeliness with scoring methos D
Both subcriteria are semi automatic, means is possible include any score via Info Record and after that run  vendor evaluation via ME61.
When I try to update info record (Me12 ) via Extras->Vendor Evaluation, no subcriteria is showed for change. I just get Main criterion 05-Service. I think any customizing is missing..
    please advice...
    Best Regards.

    Hi Arminda.
Yes, they were set as you mentioned but the  problem persist.
