  • Static credit check: credit limit exceeded for consignment issue delivery

    Hi,
We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
In SPRO config "Credit limit check for order types", no credit limit check is assigned to the order type. However, there is one assigned for the delivery type. Also, for CCAr/Risk cat./CG combination in OVA8 (Auto Credit Block Delivery), static credit check has been activated with error message reaction. Open orders and open deliveries were also activated. Customer exceeded credit exposure but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Given that this is the current setup, and the following conditions:
    1. Credit limit for the customer cannot be increased
    2. Oldest open item cannot be cleared just yet
Is there any way that we can proceed with delivery creation for this customer? The other order types have credit limit check so credit management team was able to release them. However, we are unsure on how to proceed with this consignment order. Kindly advise and thank you in advance for your help.

We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Looks contradictory and it may need to run report RVKRED77 to reorganization of open credit values. Try to run the report in test system and then run in production system. After running the report, the use must be able to release in VKM* transaction.

  • BC Sets for Product Compliance

    Hi guys,
We are looking at option of copying customization table values using BC sets for Product Compliance.
I don't think we can use BC sets for Incident Management and Risk Assessment part.
However I know you can use BC sets for product compliance part so my question is how do we use
BC sets? Any documentation/link or suggestions on what are the steps?

    Dear D M
we are not using BC sets. I have only come in touch with them using EHS classic and not EHSM.
Check may be this SAP online help to get some ideas:
Business Configuration Sets (BC-CUS) - SAP Library
    C.B.
PS: you can execute in any case what is known as an "cross transport"; This option should be well known (I assume) as it it one "classical" solution to get one configuraiton from one SAP system to a different one (pay attention: Release status should be the same; but this is true as well for BC sets).
this is nbot the same as using a BC set !

  • Custom metadata sets for Productions?

I've added a new metadata set that suits our needs, but it is not showing up as an option when creating a new production - is there some option that I missed in order to allow this, or is there a completely different process involved with creating a new metadata set for production folders? Can someone tell me what I missed or walk me through how to do that? Thank you!

Did you make sure to assign the new MD Set to Productions and not Media? If so there must be something else wrong with the way you set it up. Make sure the ID says:
    paproductionyourmetadatasetname
If it does not ID this way it will not show in new Productions.

  • Static Credit Limit Check for Sales Orders - Net Value vs Credit Value

We are testing order credit check and we have run into a problem with the Static Credit Limit Check.  The Static Credit Limit Check is set to use both Order and Delivery Values.  SAP uses the values in S066 and S067 to determine what values it uses to check against the credit limit.  Standard SAP uses the confirmed quantity times the credit price to get the order values - this is the credit value.
So the problem is, once an order is released it is set up so it does not go back on credit hold, so anything which is not confirmed (but could be) it a potential credit value which is unaccounted for in the credit exposure and the customer can go over the credit limit.
Additionally, we run AFS and have items which are rejected with a J0 rejection code (unconfirmed) which have the potential of being confirmed and shipped and we want to include these items in the value of the order which is being checked against the credit limit (along with the deliveries, invoices and receivables).
    Here is a quick example.
Customer has a credit limit of $100 (no deliveries, invoices or receivables - to keep it simple)
Order 1 is placed with a credit value of $50.00 but a potential value of $100 (the other half is J0) - this passes the credit check since $50.00 is less than the limit.
Order 2 is placed for $50.00 and has a credit value of $50.  This also gets approved.
At this point, the credit limit used is 100% (based on standard SAP)
Then Order1 backorder is confirmed and the new credit value is now $100.  This order now puts the customer over their limit and if the order had been released would not go back on credit hold and therefore the customer is not over their credit limit by 50%.
What I want is for Order1 to be credit checked for the $100 not the $50 so the exposure is correct.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we could use the Net Value of the order to perform the static credit check?  And any thoughts on how to determine the correct credit exposure (open order value plus items which are J0, plus deliveries, plus invoices, plus receivables)?
I am thinking about a Z table to track the adjusted values on the orders and then use one of the customer checks to do a static credit check with the adjusted value.  And for the exposure, use the adjusted value to recalculate the values in F.35 to show a more accurate view of the credit exposure.
Does anyone have an easier way to do this?  Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Suzanne

    Hi Suzzane,
In the scenario that you have provided, in the first order items worth 50$ are rejected. Hence standard SAP will not take this into account as this item is rejected. Two solutions can be provided here:
    1) The line item can have a delivery block instead of  a reason for rejection. This way the 50$ will get accounted. However, if this is against customer norms as this will appear in the order acknowledgment, this cannot be used.
    2) User exit can be used where a credit check can be triggered once the document value changes, even though the document has a released status.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Vinu

  • Credit Limit Set in OVA8

    Dear All,
In our company aspects, we get the advance from customer, based on limit we can make sales invoice.
I do not want to check the order level and delivery level because we have create the open order type.
I tried to set the customer limit in FD32 and to set the static option in OVA8 against goods issue group. But in this on delivery time the limit will check over all order value.
Kindly to give the solution for this scenario . What option i can tagged in OVA8.
    thanks
    saro

    Dear Saravanan,
Use Credit Group 03 for the automatic credit condtrol.
Also you can control the check for the doc value , oldest open line item .open items. Also you can control with AR data like no. of permitted days
If these wont serve your purpose than u can create one routine and assign it in document controlling field" No credit check"
Here you can take help of abaper and create routine and assign it , so that credit check will happen as per ur req.
Also remove the tick for open orders and open deliveries so system wont consider over all value

  • Billing - Representing the customer's credit limit and premitted products

    Dear All,
We intend  to implement SAP CRM billing model in our system.
Currently we have 2 fundamental  questions we need to solve:
    1)  How to represent the customer credit limit.
2 ) What is the best way to indicate his permitted products
As we operate in the energy and gas industry. An example for usage scenario might be :
The customer can use euro un-leaded fuel up to daily limit of 50 Liters,
and up to a monthly limit of 1000 Liters.
He can also buy 3 specific motor oils types with his loyalty card.
We need a standard way to represent those restrictions our system,
later the billing model will  have to take them into account.
    Please Advice.
    Thank You,
    David Tal

    Dear Debashish
As per my understanding, this is because the credit limit check is always applicable at 2 levels only i.e. Sales Order and Delivery.
u r talking about Open Billing Doc and Open Items, but this is also covered within Open Sales Orders and Deliveries, isn't it?
    Hope this will help u.

  • What kind of credit card usage led to a credit limit increase for you?

What type of spending behavior led to your credit limit increases?  (Ie zero balance, high usage with early payments, 9%, 30%, ect).   Were they notable increases?   What time frame did the increases occur in?

As others have noted, there is no set formula, it depends on the lender (and perhaps involves some voodoo or superstition) I got an AMEX Delta Gold card in June 2013, with a $2k limit, and put $4,500 through the first 11 months. Always letting the balance report on the statement, always PIF close to the payment due date. Then purposefully maxed it out twice, reaching $1,800 in early June 2014, then up to $1,300 again in mid-June when they gave my an auto CLI to $3k. My BofA AMEX card, back in the day, had been auto CLI up to $28,800 in April 2008, so I used $21,800 of it. Then they started CLD:Jan 2009, $21,700 (these are all CL, not balances), though the balances were only a few hundred under each step down in CL, the true Balance Chasing scenario)Apr 2009, $20,500Sept 2010, $17,300May 2011, $16,000Jan 2013, $12,700Then in August 2014, I got a 0% offer from US Bank, so I cleared off all the remaining $12k from this BofA AMEX, and in October 2014 moved a total of $10,700 back onto this card on a new 0% 18+ month offer. Proceeded to make some large payments on that. In Feb 2015, got a $3k CLI on this BofA AMEX, from $12,700 to $15,700. Needless to say, it was a good day

  • Credit limit Block for Sales Order.

    Hi.
when customer will create Sales order, it should get blocked for Credit check.
& customer will realese it with VKM3 transaction for particular document type .
Where will i do the setting?
is it Delivery Block 01-Creit Limit check?
    Reg,
    Amol

    Hi Amol,
You can gonfigure it from SD > Basic functions > credit management/risk management settings > credit management > define credit group and assign  sales doc and delivery doc. addtionally, you need to maintain automatic credit control configuration and maintain it to customer specific from FD32 regarding of its credit control area.

  • Delivery Date not Set for Production Orders

    Hi,
I am trying to settle a MTS (make to stock) production order that is both CNF and DLV.  When I try to calculate variances, I get a KV 239 message stating that the delivery date is not set.  I set this order to TECO and went to recalculate WIP but the production order cannot settle because this error still remains.  When I drill down on the error, it states that there was an error in the program which set this order to DLV status, when no delivery date has been set.  I can't see where this is looking for the delivery date.  Has anyone come across this issue and if so, how would I go about correcting this?
    Thanks!

Sorry, posted in the wrong forum.

They doubled pulled me, EQ and EX. Both times I applied. For CLI, they will only pull one.  Chase will pull EX for most people and during initial application, if they are unsure of the credit profile  they pull another bureau.  Another thing they do also is, if you do the pre-equal on their site you will end up with a double pull if you proceed to apply after seeing it on their site...

  • Decimal setting for product

    Hi All,
Here for a product price for B2B is comming as 11,435(3 decimals) when ordering in order.jsp. Let me know how to fix this issue.
Note: We are not using IPC.
    Regards,
    Devender V

    Hello Mark,
Sorry for not providing complete information.
This apprears while order is created.
But here price is coming in 3 Decimals(eg: 11,456), And the requirement is make it to 2 decimals.
My question would be where to correct this :
       1) We are not using IPC, So from where this price is determined. Can we make change at back-end.
       2) Where we can make front end changes.

  • Credit Limit on basis by specific product

    Dear Experts,
Could you please suggest me any body how to maintain credit limit by specific material (Product).
Let say Customer Pepsi has 3 products i.e X,Y and Z....pepsi (customer) has credit limit 100 USD. Here the customer credit limit is 100 usd but this customer has that credit limit by product wise that is:
    X Product 30 usd
    Y Product 50 usd
    Z Product 20 USD
When they are creating they wont cross credit limit by product wise even though the customer has credit limit if X product credit limit 20 usd exceeded. Could you please suggest me how to maintain this scenario.
    Thanks in advance,
    VS

    Workaround is:
    1) Create three different credit control areas.
    2) Assign the three different credit control areas to the respective sales areas.
    3) Maintain different credit limits for the customer in the individual credit control areas.
    4) Whenever the order is created in the respective sales area the credit limit for that particular sales area will come into picture.
Assumption is that three different materials belong to three different divisions so that the sales area is differing. Because of different sales area you can assign different credit control areas.

    GSL.
