CRM Blueprint Help!!!1

I am new to CRM, and had started of with reading some material just to get an overview of what CRM is all about. As I did my reading my boss was working on the Blueprint, however he  as resigned and so I have to start working on the Blueprint, as he did not do any handover.
I therefore I ask for any documentation that could assist me in the preparation of the blueprint. We are currently implementing CRM for tax revenue cllection company and am the only consultant, (junior consultant really).
Please Help asap!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey Kumar,
    There is nothing called as CRM IT HELPDESK......
    But a CRM system could function as an IT helpdesk.........It depends on your requirements as to how you are gonna use it.....
    CRM and SOLMAN are two independant products of SAP and both run on diffrent servers...
    Solman has lot of features of CRM itself....
    Solution Manager also has its own service desk... Solman is based on CRM itself technically.....
    So whatever is doable in CRM is also Doable in Solman......The vice-versa is not true.....because in Solman SAP has added some functionality  which is not present in CRM.....
    You can configure Support desk in CRM and Solman and also make them work together if it makes sense for you and your management to do so......
    Technically since both are SAP systems they can communicate via RFC calls.....

    You can specify a default value for the cash security deposit for each product. You can use transaction COMMPR01 to determine this default value. You can use the process framework to change this value, for example to adjust it according to the risk class. To do this, proceed as follows:
    Choose  Industry-Specific Solutions  Utilities Industry  Settings for User Interface  Transaction Processing  Processes  Define Processes  in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management.
    Create a new process definition by copying the process definition CONTRACT_START.
    Choose class CL_CRM_IU_PR_CNTR_START_SECDEP as the process class. This class contains a sample implementation.
    Copy the process profile DEFAULT and assign the new process definition here.
    Create a new user role and assign the function profile IUPROCESS here. You can select the process profile created in the previous step from the input help.
    In this implementation, the system calculates the security deposit amount as follows:
    Risk class  New security deposit value
    No default risk           80% of default value
    Low default risk         90 % of default value
    Medium default risk   100 % of default value
    High default risk         110 % of default value
    Very high default risk  120 % of default value

    I need to add few zfields to the Sales Quotation, Service Quotation, Service Order  in SAP CRM ,
    I am new to CRM and i found that AET tool in CRM can be used to enhance these tcodes.
    I need the below information , can some one help me with this
    1. what are the tcodes to display Sales Quotation, Service Quotation, Service Order  in SAP CRM
    2. some documents replated to AET tool
    3. I also need to add those zfields to tables CRMD_ORDERADM_H and CRMD_ORDERADM_I , how can i do that.. is it the same way we do in ECC

    1. If you are using SAPGUI, all of these can be displayed with the transaction crmd_order. you need to just enter the transaction no:.
    in case you are using WebUI, you need to login using the appropriate role to be able to view the resp. orders. For eg: you need SALESPRO role to view a sales order and other sales related objects.
    you need SERVICEPRO to display service related objects
    and so on.
    2. For AET/Enhancements, a good place to start would be the CRM Wiki on WebClient UI.

    The following new action profiles are available specifically for activities in Customizing:
    o ACTIVITY - for sales activities
    The action profile ACTIVITY contains the following action definitions:
    - ACTIVITY_FOLLOW_UP: creates a task for the responsible employee, for example, if a
    contract is overdue
    - ACTIVITY_PRINT: allows you to print the activity
    Enter the printer you wish to use to print the activity under Basic Functions -> Actions ->
    Change Actions and Conditions -> Define Conditions in Customizing for CRM.
    To print an activity, specify the processing method
    CRM_ACTIVITY_EXEC_SMART_FORM under Processing Types -> Set Processing. This
    method is delivered with the standard configuration.
    - ACTIVITY_REMINDER_MAIL: sends an e-mail to the responsible employee, for example, if
    a contract is overdue
    If you want the responsible employee to be sent a reminder e-mail when an activity is overdue,
    specify smart form CRM_REMINDER_MAIL_01 under Processing Types -> Set Processing.
    This smart form is delivered with the s tandard configuration.

    I am doing and CRM Implementation and i need to enhance Badi and the method mentioned-->CRM_ORDERADM_H_BADI' and in  'CRM_ORDERADM_H_MERGE'.

    An individual BAdI structure containing the communication fields for the object is copied as a changing parameter.

  • CRM---LSMW help needed

    Hi gurus
    I am using LSMW to upload the data in the CRM system . I have 3 files ( Header data , header item data  and service item data )
    I am able to create Item with segments like ( Sales , Product , Schdule , Appointment ) perfectly
    But when i tried to create item with DOCFLOW segment . It is not created
    I have checked this in transaction  CRMD_ORDER
    Please help me

    I have encountered the similar situation when i was trying to upload the file into the PFCG role menu after downloading the file from CRMD_UI_ROLE_PREPARE.
    The problem was that, i was downloading the log file and uploading the log file via the import button in PFCG, which is a very silly mistake but hard to notice, when you run the report for CRMD_UI_ROLE_PREPARE the import file for the role menu is already AUTOMATICALLY downloaded in to the SAP working directory which is C:\Users\ YOUR WINDOWS LOGIN ID \ Documents\SAP..   we have to go to thislocation and import that file into the ROLE MENU and not  the log file .. see my screenshots for more info ..

  • CRM Middleware help for rookie needed.. Replication of Business Transaction

    Hi guys,
    I try to set up replication of Business Transactions from R/3 to CRM and vice versa.
    I have created:
    - CRM site type (CRM) , R/3 type site (R46CLNT700)
    then I created a subscription: SalesDocuments (R46CLNT700 is assigned to this subscription) for publication "All Business Transactions (MESG)".
    a, Is this enough configuration of MW for needed replication? Or do I need more settings set up?
    b, When I try to start initial load of the Replication object BUS_TRANS_MSG (which is "in" publication All Business Transactions), I am not able to start Load from CRM to R46CLNT700)..  As target I can use only CDB...  What is wrong?
    c, If I create some sales transaction in CRM system and I want it to be replicated to R/3 and vice versa, how will I know, which replication object represents this document?  For example, I create a Sales Order. How will I know, which replication object to set up for replication?

    1.If you are looking for Initial download from CRM to R/3, this should be possible from CRM v4.0.
    2. Delta flow between the systems should happen once your initial download is complete.
    3. Check the Inbound and Outbound queues in CRM. If they seems to be hanging for long time, check whether you have registered the Inbound & Oubtound queues in SMQR and SMQS transaction on both CRM and R/3.

    Hi All,
    I am working on search help object in service order(Amount allocation )  BTAMNTALL component view name vIEW:BTAMNTALL/HdrBillplanDet and field name STRUCT.AC_ASSIGNMENT. in that block if we select account assignment type as ERP cost center it will give standard search help in Select account assignment field.
    Its basically calling the standard search help CRMT_AC_ASSIGN_KOSTL_E. After pressing F4 it will display the popup Controlling area cost center and description. Basically I need to default the Controlling area in F4 help based on some logic.I am not sure where to write code for this one.
    Please find the attachment where I need to default the value. any help is appreciated.

    At least can you read the document I provided carefully? the point 2.3.1.2 give you the answer.
    Anyway if the document doesn't specify "defining a default value" but give you some ideas/hints, you only need to use a little your imagination. Like:
    1- Use a custom search help with a constant (static)
    2- Use a custom search help with a search exit to determine the data that you need from the sales org of course you need to add the orgunit as an input parameter for the search help and supress the input parameter which will be determined in the search help exit (dynamic)
    3- Create a value node for the context (hidden) and put the info you need once you select the sales org in the hidden attribute/s, this hidden attributes should be mapped in the get_v method (dynamic, not sure if this will work, I never tried, but will be nice if you try and give us some feedback)

    I have a requirement to put the "Valid To Date" from a quote onto the smartform we are using.  It appears that it should be in CRMT_ALV_DATES_UI.  Can anyone tell me if there is a function module or method that can provide me with this date?

    For all the One Order Documents, the date related information are stored in the ET_APPOINTMENT Table. Based on the date type maintained in the Customization, you can get the date types. It has both the header and the Item Data.
    For testing  the same, from the Report Painter (SE38) you can execute the CRM_ORDER_READ to pass the header guid and to get the dates maintained.
