CTM ending at planning version Upload

Hi all
i am facing a problem of CTM run ending at planning version upload. My doubt is it is because of the Large amount of Logs in OPT 11. Can anyone tell me how to delete the logs through a background job or change the obselete date of the log. I specifically want a background job, not able to delete it from the menu path by entering RFC destination and File name.
Regards
Virender

You can get rid of all application logs including CTM jobs through SBAL_DELETE program. use options that do not refer to expiry dates.
If the deletion option does not work, it might be useful to put the trace file ON and make sure that the size of the trace file is below the SAP recommended limit. Check SAP help on this.

  • PCA Plan Versions Not showing in GR55 Report

    Hi Gurus,
My user has uploaded the PCA plan and could see the same in GP12NA for 2011 for plan version Z2. But when she is running the report (P&L )from GR55, the report is not pulling up the plan values.  (The report has Z2 as one of its parameters.)
Could you please suggest the places i would need to look to fix this?
(I've checked that the plab vesion is activated for 2011)
    Regards,
    Erp.Warrior

    Hi
Using which LIbrary have you created the GR55 report?
GP12NA is new GL.. So, have you created the report using 0FL LIbrary or a Z library based on FAGLFLEXT?

  • Planned Values uploaded in KP06 not showing on GL Reports

I have uploaded the budget but now I can't see the values in the Planned values Column in SAP.  I have checked OKEQ and see that for 2012 and the planning version that everything is working.  I checked the previous fiscal year and it show fine there.  Any other ideas why this wont show up on the report?  It ias the same report we used last year of course changing the dates.  Please le me now.
    Thanks,

Yes I have tried that report.  So I should have put in my original post that I see the values have uploaded and that cost center report shows the planned values.  It is one of the custom (Z) reports from report painter that I can't see the values in.  The strange thing is last years values are showing but for this fiscal year it is not.  In OKEQ I have the fiscal year added and I have "Integrated Planning" checked.

  • Setting plan version as default

    Dear Expert,
How to setting 'plan version', for example: plan version 1 as default in tcode :
    s_alr_87013613 (Plan/Actual comparison)?
What is the effect to others reports then?
    Thanks in advance.

The variable that is used in this report is 1VERP. You can changed this via GS12 to enter the whatever plan version to default under the default value. For your information, the report group 1AIP is run when you run the t-code S_ALRr_87013613, which inturn runs the report 1AIP-001 that incorporate the variable 1VERP under the plan data for version selection.
But this may not be the best practise, because you will be changing the SAP standard, which will be overwritten when you upload support packages or do an upgrade. Better you copy this report and use your own version variable, by copying the 1VERP.

  • BI-Integrated Planning: File Upload

Hi, I have implemented the "BI-Integrated Planning: File Upload" paper and it seems to work fine.
Whatever "Version" is in the delimitied file gets loaded just fine. (New Version gets created in master data)  So if version 999 is in the file the new version 999 get created with no master data issues.  But, when I try to load a file with a material that doesn't exist in Master Data, I get errors about the material not existing.  We need to have the upload allow new materials..
I am wondering if it Is the InfoObject Conversion Routine that causes the error, but if that was the case we wouldn't be able to load new materials in our regular loads.
Why does the file upload app allow you to create a new version, but not a new material?
    Any ideas?

I found out that a new characteristic value can be created for characteristics with no Master Data Table.
    I.E. 0VERSION can have a new value
    I.E. 0MATERIAL cannot have a new value
Answer was found in following thread:

  • COPA plan version

Currently, only version 0 is used for actuals and plan.  Again this year we have used version 0 for cost center planning, profit center planning and also COPA planning.  The user community would like to create a new version for COPA planning only to upload new data.  Can I have a different plan version # for COPA only for this year?  If so, how do I do that?  Does it impact the other areas of planning?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,
    Did you checked infoobject 0version??
    Just check it
I think it is of char 1.
    Thanks

  • Actual and Plan Versions

    Hi,
I was wondering if someone could give me a general overview of actual and plan versions.
    Points will be awarded generously.
    Thanks,
    Deki

    Versions are nothing but scenarios.
There can be only one Actual, so only one version is available for Actual i.e 0
But the comapny can have different plans on the basis of various business scenarios for example, if they acheive 80% capacity utilisation or achieve break even etc for flexible reporting. This will help easy comparison at the period end.
Hope you are now clear about the versions.
    Thanks
    Siva

  • Plan version Current plan was set

    Hi Experts,
I am working on the SAP HCM implementation in the Health Sector and this is the first time i am working in Health Sector Project, and one of the IS-Healthcare Consultant has raised the following issue saying it as HR, and i am unable to figure out if its my error or not,I checked all the settings from my end and everything seems to be fine from my end... Please Advise....
In IS-H there is a t-code called NB20 to create an organization structure in IS-H , but when he is trying to execute the t code thru easy access, it is giving a message saying " PLAN VERSION CURRENT PLAN WAS SET" ...
IMG - Personnel Management - Global Settings in Personnel Management - Plan Version Maintenance - Maintain Plan Versions/ Set Active Plan Version
    Please Advise...

    Dear bharadwaj kocherlakota:
Please maintain parameter POP = 01 in SU3 for that guy from IS-H, exit/enter SAP again; that should stop the message
Let us know if that work!
    Best regards,

  • Plan Versions - ECCS

I have a requirement to create adjusted plan versions for each month. For example Version 200- Original Budget, version 201 - January Budget, 202- February Budget and so on.. My question is will the adjusted versions 201 and 202 have the base version as 200 or as 201 and 202 respectively.
    Please advise.
    Regards

    Hi,
This really has to depend on the business scenario.
    1) In the example I had quoted, the versions are used for forecasting and hence it is like version 200 started off as the base version (eg at the start of the year, it contains 11 or 12 months of planned data), and when the next month arrived, version 201 will be copied from 200 and with 10 or 11 months of planned data, and this version 201 will in turn become the base version for the next version 202.... so on and so forth.  So each of the current version will become the base of the next version since it is what the users are working on.  There will have to have a procedure to make sure this turn of version is seamless to the users.
    2) The current version will always be version 200, and versions 201, 202 can be the backup version for the various months.  In this case the user is always working on 1 version, but the rest of the versions are always copied from version 200, after each month end.
I suggest you have a chat with your Finance users, and check on the current budget practice, the frequency of budget and accuracy of data to determine how the system should work around the current practice.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Gimmo

  • Diff: Version on workflow builder and Maintain Active Plan version on SWU3

    Group,
Can any one help me to understand the Version on workflow builder and Maintain Active Plan version on SWU3
    Thanks in advance !
    Richard A

    Dear Richard Antony,
The Versioning in the Workflow is very important its some what simmilar to the version on any SAP Objets like Tables, Program etc.
Here Suppose any change comes in working workflow, then in stead of directly change them you can create a version of them and them modify it. So that you can reverst back to that version if required.
Like wise there is lots of importance of versioning Workflow.
The Active Plan version is also important to establish at SWU3. As all the Workflow is using Organization management which is very depended on the Active Plan version. so based on which Plan version you want to use you can Provide in SWU3 to tell Workflow system to use this.
Hope this will give you a clear picture.
    Regards,
    Chandrashekhar.

  • "Open in Smart View" option. Hyperion Planning version 11.1.1.3

Failure to download planning form to Smart View using the "Open in Smart View" option. Hyperion Planning version 11.1.1.3. Error message "Web launch operation has been cancelled.
    Your feedback is appreciated.

I understand you are on 11.1.1.3.
However, this is documented in the Known Issues section of the Smart View 11.1.2.1 readme and could be worth a try:
When you try to open a Planning web form in Smart View through Workspace, you may get this error: “Web launch operation has been cancelled.” This happens if Essbase has not been added as a server in Shared Connections. Workaround: Open the Smart View Panel in Smart View and add an Essbase server as described in the online help or "Adding Essbase Servers" in chapter 2 of the Smart View User's Guide.

  • Actual and Plan Versions annual view - Multiple versions per company code

    Good Day,
Iu2019m creating an FI-CO query with an annual view of both Actuals and Plan Values, which uses period and version as input values. The dilemma is around the plan versions which are hardcoded per company codes (eg. 1 Company Code = versions 501 u2013 512)
Can anyone suggest a possible solutions as normally there is only one version used for planning but in this instance there are multiple versions per Company Code.
Currently the report is hardcoded for one Company Code and going forward it should cater for more than one(Company Company* 12 Version)
    Kind Regards

Remove restriction on comp code. There could be 2 models.
    1. Include comp code, value type and version in the rows. This way you get multiple records for a comp code. One record for actual data and one record each for plan versions. To have this model at the query, the data model in the cube also should be in this way (what we call as the account model), multiple records differentiated into actual/plan by valuetype and different versions by version.
    2. Include comp code in rows. Create selections, one for actuals (restrict with key fig and value type 10, actuals), one for each plan versions (restrict key fig with value type 20, version 501. Create one selection for each version this way). This way we have one record per comp code with diff key fig for actual and plan versions. We call this as key fig model. To have this model at the query, the data model in the cube could be account model or key fig model. If it is key fig model then no need of selections. The key fig could be taken directly from the cube.

  • Inspection lot creation based on "right" inspection plan version

I manage inspection plan ( inspection lot origin 01 ) with Change number; in this way I have differents inspection plan version based on date.
When I do a Good Entry based on purchase order , I need that system creates inspection lot version based on the purchase order creation date and not , as now, based on good entry date
    Is it possible ?
When I create the purchase order I send to vendor also the inspection plan characteristich that have to be maintened ; for this reason I need to find same characterist during good entry inspection
    Regards
    Silly

You need to use one of the enhancements that Do-Wook has suggested.  There is no standard SAP way to suppress the inspection based on the vendor batch number.
With the first enhancement you use the system to check for a previously received vendor batch and if one is found, then that batch number is proposed and not the next one from the numbering series.  In this case, the lot isn't created than due to the inspection lot control of the inspection type.
With the second enhancement you check the vendor batch number and if it's been received you suppress the inspection lot creation and the stock goes right to unrestricted.
You'll probably need to do one or the other.  Myself, I prefer the first enhancement.
