hi all,
i required the current stock value of the materials for each business unit, and the requirement for the next 6 months
in our case the business unit is mean that the group of finished materials of the same type.ex. cluster for the diff reqiurement from diff companys
this is the automotive company
they have business unit like
1. cluster
2. fuel system
3. body safety
how to calculate the stock value for each businees unit . for the material
for more deep in each b.u they need eport as to segrigated for ROH, WIP. FERT

Hi,
In MC.A you can get stock report period&material type wise.
In MB5B you can get the report on any date, VC can be used that is in close connection with material type.
In MB5L you can also get the report in current and previous period.

What I am finding is that this SAP transactions shows the MRP type from the plant specific information and not the MPR area. Even if I state MRP controller value then also it shows me Plant specific data.

Hello,
The MRP type is general setting defined at the upper organizational level of material : table MARA.
(it has the same level as material number, mateiral description, unit of measure,..)
So it is valid for all oganizational level
ps: Valuation is done at plant level (or company code level depend on settings) and not at MRP area level.

Stock value related to sales return

Hi experts,
When sales return, the return goods captures the current stock value after PGI. What's the system logic for that? U know, the customer wants it to capture the stock value of the responding sales delivery date.
For e.g., the goods (10 ton) is sold in June when the stock value is $10/ton. In July, 2 ton is returned while the stock value is $15/ton. According to the standrad system configuration, the return goods bases on $15/ton to calculate (accounting document in material document after PGI). But the customer want to base on $10/ton to calculate as to keep some financial reports balance.
In case the difference of stock value occurs, is it the only way to adjust material cost via MR21 & the difference of stock by KEU5?

I am facing the same issue with my client.
Here, the project was implemented 5 years back and till now the processes in system were working fine. But, raised a concern on MAP of material during issues and returns.
Client is maintaining MAP for certain materials (includes some FG items also) in Material master data.
During goods issue MAP is captured at say 100/- But, if the stock is being returned into plant after 6 months or so.....then during goods returns, MAP is captured at current prices ..say 95/-.
Now the client want to return the stock at same price during original goods issue i.e at 100/- only. Even if goods return document captures the stock MAP at 100/- ...then where do difference (5/-) will be posted. As per logic difference will be posted to P/L account, but can we see this posting in accounting document of goods return material document?
I think it is not possible in standard process in system. To take up this activity with system modification, can we utilize userexits in MM module? If so, can anybody please tell...which include can we consider to do this.

Getting Current Stock Prices in a Numbers 08 spreadsheet

Can anybody give me detailed instructions to get different data regarding stock market values into a Numbers 08 spreadsheet in a way that the data can be updated by a query? I searched the forum for this but could not find anything. I am looking for data like current stock value, p/e, yield , 52 week range etc.
I can put the stock values on the dash board and that seems to be linked to Yahoo Finance but I can find no link or help articles on how to do that in Numbers 08 and to refresh the query in Numbers to get current values.

Barry is right, my script was written for Numbers '09 which offer some scriptable features.
None of them are available in Numbers '08.
So if you really need it and have no plan to upgrade (not to iWork '09 but to its highly wished successor) I may drop the code dedicated to Numbers '09 and stop the process with the datas stored in the clipboard so that you would be able to paste them in a table by yourself.
Let me know if you are interested by such a stripped version;
I'm very busy so I don't wish to spent time on a project which is not clearly useful.

Can any one tell me how to find the current stock value availabe for a material in an Plant.
I need to find the total current stock available accros all the storage location,till current date.
Please tell me the table & its filed name for it,or also if any SAP FM exits there.

MBLB which gives a detailed report of the SubContractinng Material Stock report
ME2O(not zero) which gives Stock Monitoring of Subcontracting Materials and
MB5B which gives Stock on Posting Date.

Unrestricted stock value

Dear gurus
I need to display the current stock & value in a report for that i took unrestricted stock from table MARD but for the value i took from the table MBEW , But the problem is that in that we get the total valuated stock value . i need to get only the unrestricted stock value.Pls help

In selection screen please select radio button u201C Current Priceu201D instead of u201C Standardu201D . It will give correct value.

You can use Transaction MC.9 for details about stock in previous period.

my Customer need to adjust( Decrease) the closing stock values for the following materials / plant wise as on 31.03.2006 for meeting statuary compliance.
Material1 : RS: 4149599    QTY : 10181.03 Ltrs
Material 2 : RS: 1318596     QTY: 2152.76   Ltrs
As per my knowledge MM posting periods can open current month and Previous month only. For the reason I proposed the solution as follows:
Step 1 : post FI Journal Entry on 31.03.2006
Opening Balance G/L Account Dr 4149599 + 1318596
Closting Stock a/c                      Cr 4149599 + 1318596
Step 2.
Change the Material Price in MM through T.Code: MR21
( Posting will be allowed in current or previous months)
This makes our CO reports accurate.
Please suggest the better solution if it is possible in MM for adjusting the Material stock values for the last financial year.

Inventory - Historical load from BF to 0IC_C03 changes current stock qty

Loaded 0IC_C03 from 2LIS_03_BX to create opening balance.
Compressed with "Marker Update" (Unchecked). Ran a report to display opening stock (0TOTALSTOCK).
Report matches perfectly with MMBE in source system.
Next, I loaded historical movements from 2LIS_03_BF. Compressed without "Marker Update" (Checked).
Ran the stock overview report. The stock balances are now changed. Historical movements
should not change current stock positions.
Steps leading upto this issue (ECC/BI 7.0):
1. Loaded data from BX setup to PSA and then to cube using a DTP with the "Initial Non-cumm for Non-cumm" option. Compressed with "Marker Update".
2. Init BF without "Data Transfer" to create my delta pointer and then loaded BF setup table data to the PSA using "Full Repair request". Created 1 request per year based on posting date year.
3. Then pushed data from PSA to cube using "Delta" DTP. Compressed all historical requests WITHOUT "Marker Update" (checkbox ticked).
Any suggestions ? I have some sort of a workaround for now - the BX records in the cube do not contain values for the Material Document Number (MBLNR). I can put a charateristic filter in the query to display only records that have a null value for Mat Doc Number. In that case the report seems to be correct as I am eliminating the records from BF.

Are you trying to install something which does not have their corresponding Infoarea, Infoproviders etc..? This might be the reason for those errors.
Also You should use Collect objects automatically.

MBEW stores the value of particular stock . T-code to find stock MMBE compare both wiht table and tcode.

Stock Values for previous period on batch number

Need to show report which shows stock value and levels on a certain period (previous) by batch numbers.
Report MMBE shows current stock levels per batch.
Report MB5L shows stock value on a certain period (previous) but with no batch information
Is there any standard reports which you can see all stock values and levels for the previous period on batch?

Current Stock on Hand in ME2O

Dear Experts,
I want to look at the current stock on Hand in ME2O. Though I can see the word "Current stock" in ME2O, I am not able to see the value.
Kindly help me to see the current stock in ME2O.

In ME2O, You can see available stock. But you cannot see value.
The report "SC Stock Monitoring for Vendor" creates a list of stocks of
materials provided to a vendor, with the current stock situation,
planned issues and planned receipts.
Outward (issue) elements are:
o   Dependent requirements from subcontracting purchase requisitions (SC
     requisitions)
o   Dependent requirements from subcontract purchase orders
Inward (receipt) elements are:
o   Stock transfer reservations (where MRP areas are used)
o   Purchase requisitions to an external supplier who replenishes the SC
     stock
o   Purchase orders to an external supplier
o   Deliveries (from own plant to subcontractor)

You can delimit your selection on the initial screen. For example, you
can use the Group by Batches indicator to specify grouping by batch
numbers.
The list is initially aggregated, i.e. the requirement and inward
elements are shown as totals lines. You can also show the individual
purchase orders, deliveries etc.

If, for example, 8 out of 10 units covered by a purchase requisition
