  • If condtion  not working  in blank text field

    I want that when the text field is blank it should go to the else if portion of the code below:
    JTextField tf1=new JTextField(15);
    if (tf1.getText() != null)
    JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(tf1, "insert value in the range of a-z,A-Z,0-9");
    }                          else if (tf1.getText() == null)

  • Cursor not focusing in the text field after Object tag load in IE

    Hi,
    We have an applets class "ABC.class" in our application. To include this class in a jsp page we are using OBJECT tag. This tag is written inside a if block in the jsp page. Based on the if condition this OBJECT tag has to be loaded. Below is the code we are using:
    <%
    if(testCondition)
    %>
    <OBJECT classid="clsid:8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93" NAME="applet" width="0" height="0">
    <PARAM NAME="CODE" VALUE="ABC.class" >
    <input type="hidden" id='myText' value="Please configure the jinitiator version to Oracle applicaitons Jinitiator version." >
    No JDK 1.3 support for APPLET!!
    </OBJECT>
    <%
    %>
    In the above code if the "if condition" is satisfying, then cursor is not focusing on the required field. The code to focus on the field is written in the javascript function which is called onLoading the page.
    we are using IE 7 and IE8. In IE 7 sometimes working fine but in IE 8 we are getting this issue.
    Can anyone please help us how to focus the cursor on the required field even in the case of the Object tag loading.
    Thanks,
    Eswari

    Hi Nicky,
    Thanks for your reply.
    We are not using JQuery.
    Actually the code to focus is written in the function which is called onLoad of the page that will be executed after the page loading. If we keep alerts in the onLoad function then the cursor is focusing to the required field.
    Thanks,
    Eshwari

  • IQ03 - one time customer account group not shown in ship-to party field

    Hi,
    Anyone can help out this?
    In IQ03, for one time customer account, ship-to party field not updated. For others account group is updated.
    Is this SAP standard setting that not shown the ship-to/sold-to details in IQ03 for one time customer account?
    Thanks in advance.

    Update some details:
    1. Our one-time customer account group setting is customized from standard one time customer account.
    2. Partner determination done same as sold-to party.
    I came accross this "One time customer do not have partner functions tab (no SP, BP, PY, SH) active.... " in Thread: One time customer Posted by Bageerath Chery.
    Can anyone explain further on this?
    As if this is standard, meaning can explain why one-time customer not shown in ship-to field although the setting at equipment > Assign Partner Determination Procedure to Equipment Category done.
    Or any else setting to check? Pls advise..

  • Cursor does not switch back from hand to arrow, not an AS problem.

    This is a new problem we're seeing at work across multiple flash apps on different sites. Roll over a link (or any action that turns the cursor to a hand) and then rollout, it doesn't switch back. Not everyone has this problem, but a lot of people. We've seen this with versions of the plugin 10.3.181.34 and 10.3.183.7, and others I believe. OS is osx and xp, safari, IE8. Not happening in chrome or FF. Anybody else seeing this? Any flash site is doing this, here's an example: http://www.rpa.com/

    I was unable to get my mouse cursor to change at all on rpa.com with Safari, though I have Lion and I believe that might be a different bug.  Could you check the following bug to see if it's similar to what you suspect?  If so, I'd encourage you to vote and comment.  If you feel this is a different issue, please add a new bug to bugbase.adobe.com and post back with the bug URL.
    2928740 - [Platform_Mac]System cursor is not shown when it should be when using Safari 5.1

  • Mail from Exchange 2010 mailbox - BCC to Hotmail addresses with blank To: field not hounoured

    Hi
    This feels related to a previous question
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/bec88844-79c1-4d17-bf73-9425842b22de/problem-sending-mail-with-bcc-and-without-to?forum=exchangesvrgenerallegacy but is slightly different - it just applies to Hotmail and related addresses (e.g.
    hotmail.com, hotmail.co.uk, outlook.com, live.co.uk).
    Sending from our Exchange 2010 to BCC addresses with blank To: field, the BCC is not being honoured, but just by Hotmail-related addresses. Any Hotmail-related recipient sent to in this fashion sees all their and other Hotmail-related addresses in the To:
    field. But any other addresses to other mail hosts (gmail, yahoo etc) in the same BCC list aren't shown, and recipients at the other mail hosts have a fully hidden BCC list (i.e. see no To addresses at all).
    If the To: field has an address then there is no problem - all BCC addresses are hidden for all recipients as expected.
    It feels like it is the way the header is being handled by the Hotmail MTAs. But I only see this behaviour from our Exchange 2010 servers (including test servers).
    Below are message headers from examples - anyone any ideas on this?
    Thanks,
    Gordon
    Headers from the same message sent as a BCC to a "@live.co.uk" address and "@gmail.com" address with no To: field, and below that a header of similar with a To: field.

    [email protected] and [email protected] with no To: address.

  • How Do You Change A Numeric Field To Blank When Zero?

    I'm using Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional, version 6.0.6.
    Can anyone help me with the code to change a numeric field to blank, when "0.00"?

    "no success" does not provide much to go on.
    With your scripts, I get the concatenation of the sting values, so one has to force JavaScript to convert strings to numbers.
    Make sure your field names are exact including case.
    Make sure the calculation order is correct.
    The following scripts all work:
    var fa = 1 * this.getField("FeeN01").value;
    var fb = 1 * this.getField("FeeN02").value;
    var fc = 1 * this.getField("FeeN03").value;
    event.value = fa + fb + fc;
    if ((event.value == 0)) {
    event.value = ""
    // or
    var fa = this.getField("FeeN01").value / 1;
    var fb = this.getField("FeeN02").value / 1;
    var fc = this.getField("FeeN03").value / 1;
    event.value = fa + fb + fc;
    if ((event.value == 0)) {
    event.value = ""
    // or
    var fa = Number(this.getField("FeeN01").value);
    var fb = Number(this.getField("FeeN02").value);
    var fc = Number(this.getField("FeeN03").value);
    event.value = fa + fb + fc;
    if ((event.value == 0)) {
    event.value = ""
    The "sum of" also works with the "Custom validation script" of:
    if (event.value == 0) event.value = "";

  • Large numeric field in a .csv file will not display

    A .csv file contains a numeric field which in some rows contains an 11-digit number (like 14024583126).  These will not display (blank or null).  Some of the rows contain numbers of 5-digits or 7-digits and these display fine.  How can I get the 11-digit numbers to display correctly?
    I have no capability to change the .csv file to make this field type as string.  Would there be a way to convert the numeric field to string?

    Thank you for the formula.  However, the string field displays just like the numeric field did.  If the numeric value in the row is a 5-digit or 7-digit number it converts to text and displays fine.  But if the numeric value in the field is an 11-digit number nothing is displayed after conversion to text.  The numeric field must have some limit on what the size can be.  How can we get around that limitation?
    FYI - the data I'm trying to process is a dump of monthly Call Detail Records from Cisco's Unified Communications Manager.  The 11-digit number is a Long Distance Number like 14021234567 (ex., 1-402-123-4567).  The 5-digit numbers are VoIP extension numbers while the 7-digit numbers are local calling numbers.

  • Segment field is not shown in profit center master data

    Hi,
      When i activated New GL ,but the segment field is not shown in profit center master data. How can i make the field shown ?
    Thanks.

    After activating the New GL have you defined the segment? First define the segment under Enterprise Structure and in Fin.Acctg Global settings(New)-Legers-Display scenarios for General Ledger Accounting, you need to create new entries for FIN_PCA & FIN_SEG.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Save Not Applicable(NA) as response to hundreds of required numeric fields

    We have to save Not-Applicable as a possible response to hundreds of required fields on a data entry form for numeric/statistical values on fund performance. The intent is to query/perform data analysis on fund performance trends after the initial data collection.
    Is there any built-in data type support to store this value without having to define an additional flag column for each numeric field, similar to using NotANumber(NAN) with a column defined as BINARY_FLOAT/BINARY_DOUBLE data type? Is there any serious limitations with using BINARY_FLOAT/BINARY_DOUBLE data type instead of NUMBER? Curious about the loss of precision with floating point numbers and impact on running analytics on data.

    We are on Oracle 11.2Have you considered simply alloweing the columns to allow NULL, with NULL indicating N/A? In a sense, NULL (undefined value) is the ultimate "not applicable".

  • Cursor not appearing in password input field

    Hi All,
    I know this is probably going to be a bit of a long shot but i have got two fields on the front screen of my web dynpro for abap, with the second field set as a password field.
    When I tab through the fields the cursor apears in the first field but when I press tab again to move to the second password field, although it highlights the field the cursor does not appear so I cant start typing without actually using the mouse to click in the field!
    If i place the password field first or make it a normal input field rather than a password field this problem goes away but obviously these are not valid solutions to this problem.
    Any ideas would be much appreciated.
    Mart
    P.s. i am not 100% certain about this and not sure if it will help with a solution but i believe this bug has only surfaced since we upgraded to the lastest patch level!

    Hi All,
    Before I raise a support ticket with SAP I was just wondering if anyone ever found a solution to this problem. Have managed to put off finding a solution for as long as possible:-( Only solution i have find so far is to capture the user pressing enter and then passing the focus onto the password field but this is not great as the user has to press enter instead of tab which is not particulally intuative.

  • How To BLank A Field With A Numeric Value

    I am trying to write a formula as follows:
    IF {CRD1.U_PriceOnPick} = "N" THEN
    ELSE
    {ODLN.DiscPrcnt}
    My problem is I need for the field not to display if = "N" else I will print the numeric field of {ODLN.DiscPrcnt} . I am not sure how to code a formula that will meet my objective. When I try to save the formula, I receive an error of , "A String Is Expected Here". Any help would be appreciated it.
    Thanks Jim Dyer

    Cardinal rule of CR, the result of both the IF and ELSE parts must be of the same data type.
    Try changing your formula to:
    IF {CRD1.U_PriceOnPick} = "N" THEN
    ELSE
    totext({ODLN.DiscPrcnt});

  • Qualifier Field Not Shown in Qualified Table

    Hi All,
    Can anybody tell me why the values of qualifier fields are not shown in the qualified tables? And where are those qualifier values stored, in the main table or in the qualified table itself?
    Best Regards
    Jerome

    Hi Jerome,
    Before starting, I am assuming there is no confusion relating to Qualifiers & Non-Qualifiers.
    Non-Qualifiers --> Decidors/Fields whose value changes
    Qualifiers --> Fields which get decided/whose value changes based on the Non-Qualifers.
    You said - "<i>Can anybody tell me why the values of qualifier fields are not shown in the qualified tables?</i> "
    <b>1. )</b>What I understood from your question is that; when you select your Qualified Table in the Record Mode of the Data Manager, the qualifiers appear to be locked/non-editable. Is that right?
    All the qualifiers are locked because <b>they have no context in the Qualified table.</b>
    For e.g.: If your Qualified table is "Addresses" consisting of
    Non-Qualifiers --> Address Type(say Home(can be more than 1), Office,etc)
    Qualifiers --> HouseNo,Street, City, Country,etc.
    What would it mean if we put the street name "XYZ Street" for the record selected. Nothing -- the street must be connected to a main table record, a Customer(Cust_Id)  and and an address-type(Home) to have meaning.
    <b>2.)</b> If the above interpretation of your Q is not correct, then 2nd case could be --> when you select your main table in DM (Record Mode)and try to add a Qualified Lookup value to a record you are unable to see the qualifiers. Right?
    In the main table Double-click on the quailfied lookup field. An screen pops-up. Here we see the available lookup records -- these are in fact the records we saw when we switched to view the Addresses qualified lookup fields, which means these are the values stored in the non-qualifiers. You have to select & add them (Selected Lookup Records). The qualifiers become enabled. Now you an add values to them.
    You can either use an existing Address type or add a record to the Qualified-Lookup Table from here.  We can add and remove types of addresses -- a main table record may have any number of any type of address. When we add a type, for example "Favourite Restaurant Address"(say), we can enter information for the qualifiers, those field which make sense only when connected to a main table record and a non-qualifier. If we add two "Home" addresses each can have it's own values for the City, Street, Country, State and Postal Code qualifier fields
    To answer 2nd part of your Q - "<i>And where are those qualifier values stored, in the main table or in the qualified table itself?</i>"
    Qualifiers are database “subfields” that apply not to the qualified table record by itself, but <b>rather to each association of a qualified table record with a main table record.</b>
