CVP Record Step

Hi,
My record step is failing the second after it plays my message. Whether I turn the beep off or leave it on it goes straight to error msg after my audio.
on Gateway I get this..

Any idea. I use g711 everywhere here. Everything else and all other scripts work, however I have never tried the record element before.

so ../temp writes to C:\WINDOWS\Temp from what I see?
Also from VXML Trace I see this.. Which leads me to believe it is indeed a path issue! The problem is I cannot make a dir named .. any ideas how to fix this?

Add button inactive in Match record step in Import manager

Hello,
In the Main table, I want to see the country data as 'US; United States' in country field.
I have made both 'country code' and 'country description' as display fields in the country flat lookup table.
When I load country code and country description from import manager from an excel file, the 'Add' button in Match records step is inactive for both the fields.
How can I do the matching in import manager without sacrificing my requirement of showing country as 'US; United States' in main table ?

UCCX Recording step returns success, but the recording is empty

I have a weird problem on a new UCCX install. (10.5)
When recording a prompt using the recording step, I am immediately trying to play the recording back, and it is silence / empty. I can upload the recording ok, but the uploaded file is always 0.06KB regardless of how long I try to record the prompt.
Any ideas?

BDC recording steps

could anyone help me out in knowing the BDC recording steps in detail for co11n.

Hi,
Steps used in Recording
1) Start by going to SHDB transaction. There, on top left corner, you will see the "New Recording" button.
2) After clicking on the new recording button, you will be presented with a screen to specify the name of this recording, AND, the transaction which you want to record. Fill these up, and click on "Start Recording" button.
3) Handle the transaction just like normal. However, you should know that all that you do in the transaction are captured.
4) Once you finish the transaction, the screen will return to SHDB transaction. You will see a number of instructions. This is not of much interest to us at this point. Just save this recording by clicking on the "Save" icon at the top.
5) Once saved, click on the "Back" button to display a list of recordings. By default, the recording you just did will be the only one shown on the screen.
6) Select this row, and then, click on "Generate Program" from the top middle tool bar.
7) Select the program type as executable, and fill up other attributes, like short description..etc.
8) When asked for a package, for now, select the local object.
Usually, what you will be doing, is to use this code that is generated as a skeleton, and the data will be got dynamically.

CCX recording step and exceptions

Hi all,
I'm working on age old solution - record a message in IVR and send it via email attachment. I created simple test script - recording, create email, attach, send. All is working fine if I play by the rules - record my message and press # at the end. If record as I woudl do in any voicemail system - just say my piece and hang up - I get java.io NotReaializable exception in Recording step.
Is there any way how to work around this?

Hi.
The exception thrown is actually a byproduct of another one: ContactInactiveException. This is thrown when a CCX script step tries to do something but the contact that triggered that step does not exist anymore. It's quite logical: even though you start the recording, so your voice message is buffered, but you never tell UCCX to stop recording.
There's one simple way to solve this: insert an On exception goto step into your script (of course, before that recording step), and tell the script to jump to a specific label that would clear this exception and then just continue normally, as if nothing has happened, save the recording in a document or so.

Can I clip the nano to my shoe laces and have it record steps during running or walking

Can I clip the iPod Nano (6G) directly to my shoelaces and have it acurately record steps. The lace/tongue area of your shoes are actually dry places that don't get wet with sweat. Attaching the Nano to your shirt, shorts, etc. lets sweat penetrate the Nano. If you'v dont it please let me know how it worked out. I tried it and it worked great, just wondering if others have done it and for what distances. Thank you.

iTunes works fine under Windows on many, many systems, including Acer. Perhaps if you'll post details here, someone can help you sort things out. The thread you refer discusses an earlier version of iTunes and probably no longer applies even if that were the problem on your system, though I cannot say with certainty. Note that if you are running Windows 7 Starter on your netbook, that version is reported to have problems with a lot of software, not just iTunes. Many people have installed and run iTunes quite successfully, though.

I don't know who you talked to, but either there was a misunderstanding - the statement would apply perhaps to the iTunes Store, but not to iTunes as a program - or that person was an idiot. iTunes, the program, is most definitely an Apple product and should be supported fully by the Apple Store technical staff.

CVP recording upload. file management. multiple media servers.

I'm trying to create CVP app so that supervisors can record emergency message and have it played back to callers. General idea, as I understand, would be to use record element and save recording to some predefined name and then just play back this wav file to new callers. While planning I came up with some questions:
1. Id like supervisors to hear back the recording and then confirm replacement of previous recording. This means I have to somehow copy newly recorded file over predefined file (basically copy/move new_rec.wav->announcement.wav). But which element do I use for this? If I just use pre-defined name - old recording is lost.
2. I have multiple CVP servers in HA mode. How do I upload recording to all servers? Or how do I synchronize content of both media servers? Is there something built-in or do I have to come up with something myself?

The built-in FTP step lets you copy to multiple destinations, so you can use it to copy to all servers from a CVP script. Otherwise you can setup a Windows Distributed File Share to automatically synch a folder across servers.

CVP Record Agent Greeting Failing

I'm setting up the default Record Agent Greeting application with CVP 10.0, UCCE 10.0, Finesse 10.5. I can dial the entry point number from Finesse and it goes to the ICM script. I hear the message "Please select the greeting you wish to hear or record..." I then press the greeting number hear the next message "Press 1 to hear the greeting, 2 to record..." and then it runs the RecordAgentGreeting VXML application. It immediately states that a greeting filename was not provided. Do I need to set the session data for this somewhere or is the agentname supposed to populate automatically? At least I think that's my issue.

please share CVP and VXML application logs, but i think you must place agent greeting type variable in recording script. after CED just set greeting type.

ICM - CVP single step transfer, peripheral variables are empty

The we do the Single Step Transfer, peripheral variables are empty when the call reachs the CVP. Please help
The call scenario:
1-      Customer dial 181
2-      Call queued on ICM
3-      Agent receive the call
4-      Agent do single step transfer and send the call (with data(PV1..PV10)) to CVP through ICM
5-      CVP play the number received from ICM
Currently, data set in the PV1-PV10 are empty once reach the ICM…
I need the these data to be available to play it to the caller..
I am using:
CAD 7.2
CVP 7.2

If the call goes to an agent do you see the data? Are you using a cti rp to make the transfer or dnp?

Does VXML record step support G711alaw?

We have Europe based customers with SIP trunking, currently SIP trunking provider only support G711alaw codec, so with CVP, we have to implement g711alaw as codec in VXML GW, all media files are recorded in g711alaw as well. We have recording prompt application on VXML server, but it seems not working with g711alaw, and we are not able to make other VXML scripts work with g711alaw. g711ulaw works fine.
Can anyone confirm if VXML server/scripts support g711alaw?

[SAP Script] Recorder doesn't record "import from file - btn[23]" step

I'm a total newbie in SAP script language.
Iu2019m looking for some solution to import txt file with btn[23]. Whole procedure should look like this:

007 paste into textbox filepath "C:\Program lojalnosciowy\klienci.txt" and click OPEN
008 click CONFIRM & LOAD - btn[8]

LSMW Recording for multiple line items

Hello Gurus,
I just wanted to know if task list has more than one operation can be loaded thru LSMW recording ? If yes,
COuld anyone tell me the process of recording step by step as I am new to recording and not sure what is the flow.
I have created spreadsheet with some data to test and went into LSMW and assign the mode as recording and also had given the values in the respective tcode and save it..after that do I need to perform all the 14 steps ?

LSMW while creating first 6 steps need to be once. Later on same LSMW can be used directly from step 7.

LSMW Batch Input Recording for Create BOM

Dear All,
I want to do LSMW for Creating BOM using Batch Input Recording,
I know that i have to make 2 time Recording, first for the BOM Header and second for the BOM item
For the BOM header i have done it, but for the BOM item i got some trouble with the item number (POSNR),
when i run the LSMW, for the first item (item 0010) was success, but for the item 0020, it can't work and i got error
message " NO BATCH INPUT FOR SAPLCSDI 0150"
How is the recording step by step for BOM Item so the Item number can increase well?

Workforce Performance Builder 9 - Change width/height of recorded workspace.

Just started working with WPB9 to create some workflow based recordings.
Have already recorded a set of continuous steps on an application.
Would like to know if there is a way to increase the "canvas" size of those recorded steps so that I could add some customer notes, content, etc. on the blank space.
Trying to achieve something like this:
The RED section is the original recording.
The YELLOW section is what I'd like to add/scale.
Can this be achieved in WPB9.3? If yes, could someone please let me know how.
Also, apologize if this is in the wrong section of SCN.

Looks like a Bug. If I record a step that add a layer style bevel and emboss a choose any contour that contour is recorded into the action step. However when that step is played back instead of being non interactive the step shows the layer style Dialog with the Bevel and Emboss style highlited with the default contor. The Dialog box is not checked set in the action step the dialog should not be shown the recorded settings in the action step should be used. If I do not change the contour when recordint the add layer style setp the setp is not interactibe like it should be and the dialog is not shown. You can expand the step and see the name Ring - Double is recorded for the contour.

step1. go to the Transaction SHDb and create a new recording for the transaction MM01 and save the recording.
step 2: from the same transaction select the recording and go the program.
Note: if you have ur file in presentation server insted of open dataset use gui_upload.
