My Palm enables me to hide and password protect entries I want to keep confidential, on both the handheld and desktop applications. Does the Touch offer the same capabilities, either native or with an added app? If an app is required, what are the strongest ones currently available?

You can encrypt your iPod Touch backups via iTunes, so anything backed up on your desktop system are secure.
You can give your iPod Touch a passcode so that it can not be accessed unless that passcode is used.
You can get apps that will store encrypted information. For example most password managers also allow the storing of encrypted notes, such as 1Password, or LastPass. I'm sure if you search the App Store you will find other data encryption apps.

ExportPDF is very secure. Adobe does not store copies of your documents on our servers or in the cloud with the ExportPDF service. As soon as a file conversion is complete, the PDF file is purged. As soon as the converted document is downloaded, it too is purged from our server. If you convert a document, but do not download the conversion and log out of the tool, you will have to convert the document again as all documents are only stored within the session.

Contact iTunes Customer support... it is not possible to bypass Activation Lock.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.

Some of my tunes are assigned to a former email address and I can't remember the password. The security questions won't let me pass my date of birth, which they say is incorrect! I think I know my DOB. What can I do to remedy this

My laptop now has a different email address so there are certain tunes that won't play as hey are assigned to the old address. I can't remember the old password and the security question won't allow me past my date of birth, which they say is incorrect!! I certainly know my DOB. Is there anyway I can unlock these tunes?

You are out of luck, then. You cannot track it, Apple cannot help you (btw, this is not Apple here.) You can't set up Find My Phone after the iPad is gone.
Notify the police. Change all your passwords. Buy a new iPad.
Perhaps your insurance will cover the loss for you, so speak with your insurance agent.

I have an old Apple ID connected to a discontinued e-mail address. I want to delete it. I cannot remember my password and when I try to change the password using the security questions, it rejects my birth date! I can't change it by cancelled e-mail.

If you've forgotten your answers, there should be a link just under the security questions fields where you can have a reset email sent to your Rescue email address. If the link for the email doesn't appear, as can happen if you didn't set a rescue email address or (apparently) have a .Mac email address, see the user tip created by Kappy, another user here, on how to proceed:

If you can't remember them then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)

How do I delete an Apple iCloud account from my iPhone without password, security questions, or email?

For some reason, an old iD is stuck on my phone. My iPhone 4s is nearly filled with documents and data, to the point where I cannot take pictures, and I can't reset it without using this old iD. I don't know why this is now popping up instead of the one I am registered with. I gained access to the old email the iD is under, but none of the iTunes emails are coming in so I assume it is set up under a different email. For the security question of birthdays, I tried every household member's birthday, and none worked. I have tried the password we used on that account when it was active, along with every other possiblility. I don't know what to do anymore and I have very limited use of my phone if I don't get this sorted out and deleted from my phone.
