I am facing a mazing pb. A BS publish all what is in the DB but, sometime with a duplication,X3,X4,, and so one)
Any idea

1)DbAdapter:
-Exposed service
-Poll for new changes
-Delete field
-Other options: by default
2)Proxy
-From the DB adapter
-purge the db, and delete fields
-publish into a BS
-log the field when it's written in the queue
3)BS
-Write straightforward all the outbounds in the queue.

File Adapter going into infinite mode while polling for the file

Hi,
I am facing an issue while the file adapter is reading the data from the file.
If the file from which it is reading has been deleted it keeps on polling for it infinite number of times and also doesn't pops out with any error message. Is there any method that after polling for some time period we can pop out a message that the particular file is not available and then the file adapter should stop polling for the file.Anyone has some ideas about this. Any pointers will be of great help.

Hi soachd,
As far as I understand polling is infinite process. You need to adopt this strategy if you are expecting some thing to happen all the time or may be when you want to be ready when ever an expected event happens. This provides a real time solution but with the downside of infinite execution.

When are we going to get infinite scrolling for the S4. All other carriers have it on the S4 and it is frustrating that it is turned off for Verizon only.

All other carrier S4 phones have the option to turn infinite scrolling on/off. However with Verizon there is no option and it is turned off. Every forum I go to says that you have to root the device to turn it back on. VERIZON are you going to listen to the myriad of people the would like this option, a basic option advertised for the Samsung S4? Please PLEASE PLEASE give us the option back.

DB Adapter not polling for particular table only

My DB Adapter for one particular table is not working. My WSDL and Scema are defined and deployed in same for every table adapter but dont know only this one has issue. I have created adapter again twice and deployed but it didnt work.
Please help me suggest the fix.

Thanks for your reply. We have deployed all the adapters into the separate folders with same name as table name. These folders are created under folder Business Service and all the configuration files for that particular adapter are deployed there. I mean JCA binding, WSDL,schema XSD. I just purchased an Ipad 3. Can the same car 12V outlet adapter/USB cord for the Iphone be used to charge the Ipad in the car?

Never mind, I found the answer.

Some will be phone sized, some may not be. Any apps in the app store with a + by their name are universal apps...meaning they scale up or down to fit the device.
I too went from a touch to an iPad and the apps transferred over quite easily.

Selective Polling in the Sender File Adapter

Hi,
I have the following requirement
1) File X is placed in the directory which is the source file for the sender adapter to poll
2) File X is appended regulary with data until it is polled. During this appending the sender adapter should not poll this file
3) Current process (without PI) they use a control file to stop this happening. i.e. they place a File Y in the directory to show the file is being updated and not to be touched. Once The file is appended File Y is removed and the file should be polled
So ultimately I have to configure the sender adapter to poll for File X (say every minute) except when there is File Y in the directory.
Any ideas?

Hello,
You can use the "Msec to wait before modification check" feature in sender file adapter to achieve the requirement.
No need to place the "File Y"...i.e step 3 to perform.

Sender SFTP Adapter channel is not polling for files

Hello All,
Couple of SFTP sender adapter channel was failing in Developent system with u201Cdirectory listingu201D error.All SFTP sender channels stopped polling for the files in Developent system . We were unable to find the reason for adapter failure, Hence we restarted the j2ee server and adapter started polling files. Later we are facing the same issue in Quality system. THe adapter cahnnel is not polling files in Quality system even.
All lean tool adapters were showing the u201CHost key was not accepted erroru201D on 27th of Feb . As per the other channel trace, the time stamp of last successful polling and error time stamp of lean tool sender channels are exactly same
Eventhough two communication channels access the same SFTP adapter, one communicationchannel is getting 'Host key was not accepted error' but in other communication channel, files are getting picked.
Please let me know the solution if you have come accross this issue previously

File Adapter: Advanced selection for source file

Hi Experts,
I am doing file(Idoc format) to IDoc scenario. In my scenario I am getting files in three different formats (ex: abc.dat, xyz.dat, 123.edi). My communication channel (sender file adapter) should poll for every 30 mins, picks up the files and map them to Idoc without any mapping.
Need following clarifications:
1. Should I create 3 communication channels to pick up 3 different type files? Or should I use the Advanced selection for source file to pick up them with only one CC?
2. If there is no mapping how should I proceed in this case?

Not required.. if all the files are from the same directory then u can specify . in the file name parameter.. but make sure that only these 3 file types are places in the directory... if this is not the case you can use Advannced Selection... check my Wiki [Single Sender File CC For Multiple Directories|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/SingleSenderFileCCForMultipleDirectories]

Is there a COMPONENT video OUT solution for the iBook?

I am currently using Apple's Video Adapter (mini-VGA to S-Video) to hook up to my widescreen. Let's face it, S-Video *****. I am trying to find a solution that would allow me to get component video out of my iBook and run that into my widescreen.
Is there a VGA->Component Video Adapter available that would work with the mini-VGA -> VGA adapter that ships with the iBook? (Or some other way to get a component video signal?)

Unfortunately, iBooks do not have DVI out. What I really need is a VGA to Component video adapter.
And for the person who wasn't sure what a component video cable looks like, this is a cable that has 3 rca-like plugs on it, each one supplies a different color (RGB I think).
So far, I've not found a VGA adapter that can do this unless you are using an ATI video card as the source.

Polling for print command using Apple event

I need to create a daemon process which will poll for the Print command ( Can be initiated by any application like TextEdit). I am now stuck in handling the Event (I am very new to handling system events). Can anyone help me by providing the sample code, about how to handle the Print Event?

Issuing networksetup -help from the command line lists all the possible commands. I think the one you want is probably:
networksetup -setproxybypassdomains networkservice domain1 domain2 etc
Where networkservice would be either "Built in Ethernet" etc.

SNMP polling for 5108 Chassis

I'm attempting to set up SNMP statistics polling for the 5108 Chassis with 4 half width blade servers. I can get SNMP data from the 6120 Fabric Extender just fine such as IFs and such, but I don't see any OIDs corrisponding to the chassis.
Is there a separate host I should poll for the chassis, or perhaps a different community name?
I'm specifically looking to monitor power draw from the four Chassis PSUs, as well as the two FE PSUs.

There are no stats for the chassis.
You can only snmpget stats for the "NXOS" part of the Fabric Interconnect.
You can get snmptraps for all of UCS (go a google for UCS-MIB, and there's a doc explaining this on cisco.com - do a google for site:cisco.com ucs documentation roadmap).
At the end of the year I believe a full MIB will be available to do what you want.
If you want stats, use the XMLAPI.

What is the power cord for the airport extreme (A1354)?

What power cord and/or adapter is used for the 2nd and 3rd generation Airport Extremes?

My TC cable has 300v printed along it (just about read if the angle to the light is OK).
Also 120v @ 2.5 amps is roughly 240v @ 1.25 amps, so current draw is less on the higher voltage.
Should be fine, as long as the correct fuses are used in the plug. Which is there to protect the cable from wall socket to appliance and not the appliance itself.
