Deactivating serial numbers

I recently purchased adobe photoshop elements 11 and premier; I installed it on my computer. About a week later I purchased a new computer and installed the programs on it as well. I have had problems putting the photos onto the new computer from a backup and program so uninstalled elements 11. I have just been attempting to reinstall the program and it didn't work so turned the computer off. Again attempted to reinstall and a window came up to uninstall what had eventuated with the failed attempt and that I would have to deactivate the serial numbers - have no idea how to do that and wonder how to overcome all these problems

Hi, Thank you for that (for future reference). I was having problems with the program on the new computer and (I thought) uninstalled it. But when I went back into the computer the next day it all seemed to be OK and has been working since. Consequently I am leaving well enough alone.

If your program is Photoshop Elements, then you have posted in the wrong forum. Some how your thread got posted in the Adobe Premiere Elements Forum (video editing). Please re-post your thread in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum or wait for a moderator to see your thread here and move it from here to there.

For a possible Premiere Elements matter...
What will not open - Photoshop Elements 10 or Premiere Elements 10? And, what computer operating system is involved?
Are you installing from installation files from download purchase or from an installation disc?
You should be able to use one of those to install the program during which it should be automatically activated
if you have an Internet connection.
Let me know if this does not open applies to Photoshop Elements 10 or Premiere Elements 10. If Premiere Elements 10, I will
go through with your troubleshooting considerations related to Premiere Elements 10.

It seems that my serial numbers are deactivated. what can I do?

After an installation issue, I contacted tech support and they told me to uninstall my elements 11 and reinstall. But now, my serial numbers both say invalid.

Which Elements... Photoshop or Premiere?
Either way, Elements is not part of the Cloud, so asking in their forums may give you better answers

I am trying to locate my serial numbers for the two creative cloud products? Illustrator and Photoshop.

We subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud last October, purchasing a single copy of Illustrator and Photoshop.
The Web developer we had subsequently left the company, and I removed and re-assigned the products to our new Web developer in the Adobe Creative Cloud admin console and sent the 'welcome' emails to him.
He said the mails weren't sent, so I re-removed and re-added him in the console but although it states the welcome email has been sent, the user is still marked as pending?
James has fried to use the products, both of which show up as trial versions, asking for the serial numbers to be entered to unlock the full products & I don't have any record of them, nor can I find them under the CC profile?
I purchased the software through Softcat and received confirmation emails from Adobe that the products were activated and ready to download.
What have I done wrong?
All help welcomed!

Need help matching CS5.5 users to serial numbers

I have 4 CS5.5 users and a list of 4 serial numbers. I want to upgrade two of them to Creative Cloud but I don't know which Serial was used for each user. Is there a way to find this out?

Short of deactivating the installs with erasing the serial number and typing it in fresh on reactivation - no.

I Restored my computer to its factory defaults. when reinstalling PEPE10, Accidentally installed disc 1, I should have installed disc 2 for windows 7 x64bit.The uninstaller tells me to deactivate and remove serial numbers used when installing on my machine. Question is how do I do that? Please help.

Well to deactivate, you just need to launch Editor. Go to Help menu, and click on Deactivate button.
Deactivation is for the purpose that you can use your license on 2 computers, and remove the license from the ones you don't use right now. So you should always deactivate you PEPE version before formatting your machine.

Why need the Lr and Ps serial numbers when the Br not needs?

I bought today CC for photographers (LR, PS, Br). The Br runs fine. But the other two programs want serial numbers. Why?

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

Tracking serial numbers

Does Apple, or do any of the carriers, keep a record of stolen iPhone serial numbers so they can not be deactivated?

Apple does not, however many of the carriers do, depending on where you live. In Europe they will blacklist phones, however in the US, AT&T has just started doing this. Verizon does for their network, however since they are CDMA, it doesn't really matter that much since in the US, the only other CDMA carrier is Sprint, and Sprint and Verizon will not activate phones that were not purchased from them on their network.

Goods Receipt and Serial Numbers

I'm getting the following error "[IGN1.WhsCode][line: 1] , 'This entry already exists in the following tables (ODBC -2035)'" when trying to add a goods receipt document containing a single item that is serial number managed via the DI API. We are running against Business One version 2005A SP01 PL9. The Goods Receipt PO transaction is reporting the same error. The Goods Issue and Delivery transaction appeared to work correctly. The Goods Receipt transaction posted correctly when created in the B1 Client (GUI) application. So it is an issue with the DI API. We are using the SBODemo_US company database but we added a new item and configured it for serial number management. This same code works with B1 2004A. Our application is suppose to work with both versions of B1, so our application is built with version 2004A DI API. Should this work, or do I need to use the 2005A version of the DI API when communicating with a 2005A system? Would this version of the DI API work correctly with a 2004A system?

I remembered encountering the same problem working with B1 2004A. For the Goods Receipt and Goods Receipt PO documents, when receiving items that are serial managed I would fill in the InternalSerialNumber data member of the Document Lines Serial Numbers object. The fix was I also had to provide some value for the SystemSerialNumber field. I just always set it to a value of 1. In B1 2005A, this issue must have been resolved, because when I commented out this line of code, the document was added successfully. I don't have to provide a SystemSerialNumber, the system must generate one, as I would expect.

iPods do not work with "accounts." They work with your iTunes library. You don't have to set up a new iTunes library for each iPod. One iTunes library can sync with as many iPods, iPhones, and iPads as your own, at the same time. iTunes connects to and treats each device separately.
However, if your iPod nano is set up for automatic syncing with an iTunes library that is NOT your current iTunes library, you cannot sync your current library to it without replacing its existing content. Do you have access to the previous iTunes library, the one the iPod currently synced to? If so, you should transfer your song files from that iTunes library to your current iTunes library. Then, sync our iPod to your current iTunes library. You can post back to get more info about the procedure.
If you don't have access to that previous iTunes library, the approach is to first offload the song files from the iPod to your computer's drive, then add the song files to your current iTunes library.
You cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
You can then sync your iPod to your "consolidated" iTunes library.

And in order to move On Order stock to Unrestricted you need to close those POs by doing GR.

Is Serial number is the one obtained thro stadard batch management or is it a Zfield.
On Order stock cannot be converted to unrestircted stock unless a GR is made.
