  • Block Purchase Order to be changed once Service Entry Sheet is created

    Hi All,
I need help, i want to know how can i block the PO not to be changed once the service entry sheet is created. For example : Once the user create a service entry sheet with a released PO it must not allow her / him to change the PO.
    Thanks,

Set the Release Indicator for Purchase Order Release Strategy such that it will not allow to change once Released.
Else Configure Version Management for Purchase Order.

    Dear ,
while creating Service Po in Me22N...
    Go to Service Tab:
Maintain the Overfulfillment Tolerance in the grid.
also you can Check the check box of Unlimited.
    Unlimited Overfulfillment
Specifies whether or not unlimited overfulfillment of requirements (overperformance of a service) is allowed at the time of service entry.
    This will work
    Check this out.

  • Change in Service entry sheet leads to creation of service condition

A new condition will be created (within ML35) when we change prices in the services which are assigned to Model Service Specifications. When we change a price, SAP creates for that activity number  a new condition record. Could we turn this functionality off?
Edited by: Jan la Gasse on Dec 2, 2009 3:37 PM

Thanks for your prompt reply. The condition update has not been selected and the issue still exists. I will try to explain it in more detail.
We create a purchase requisition for services and we fill in a service number on the tab services. This service number belongs to a Model Service specification and has a price of 42 euro in the specification. Price change and condition update of this service are not checked.
In the purchase requisition we fill in a price of 40 euro (service tab). After saving this requisition, SAP creates a service condition of this new price (40) and a validity from date same as creation date. The price in the model specification did not change.
We do not want to create a new service condition (especially not with the only criteria price and validity date, because this can harm other affiliates).
Hopefully you can help me further.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Change in 2nd decimal place in CATS Portal

When I enter time in CATS via portal, the second decimal place changes from what I entered, i.e 1.31 to 1.32, or 1.39 to 138. Is this a bug ?

It has to do with decimals being transformed into seconds.
    If 0.30 hours = 18 minutes and 0.32 hours = 19 minutes, the system can't accept 0.31 as a valid entry since it can't split a minute.

  • Purchase Order: Queries related to Service Entry Sheet (ML81N)

    Requirement:
A user exit to be trigger during the changing (update) of service entry sheet, This user exit should have a code which will go and check the credit memo in RSEG- SHKZG where the value is “H” and will check RSEG- LFBNR number with ESSR-LBLNI and compares RSEG- SHKZG with ESSR- NETWR value of the service entry sheet. if the value is less then or more then ESSR- NETWR (service entry sheet) value it should throw an error “"Amount must equal Service Entry”.
If the RSEG- SHKZG value and ESSR- NETWR value are equal it should allow to revoke the service entry sheet.
Scenario: When user clicks on Change button in ML81N for changing the Service Entry Sheet(existing one), an exit should trigger the error message and should not allow to change.
Please suggest how to achieve it, which Exit to use where I should code?

    Hi Amol
Why you created Framework Order ?.. You can not change account assignment category in service entry sheet..e.g. K-Cost Center.. F- Order
But depending upon settings, you can change account assignment values such order 1 to order 2
If there are requirement that SES can created for  Account assignment F or K. I recommend you to use following approach
    1. Create a Contract - ME31K with AAC as U- Unknown (If business already have rates negoiated with vendor for services)
    2. Create release order with reference to contract and system will prompt you to enter AAC- it can be K or F
    3. Perform SES w.r.t to Release Order.
Other Approach can but not strong one.. create two line items in the PO. one with K and Other with F.. then choose the line item at time of SES creation that business want to book the cost on CC or Order.
    Thanks,
    Jagdeep

  • Changing Decimal Places for Currencies (Table V_TCURX)

    The instance is ECC 6.0
We need to change the decimal places for a currency from 0 to 2 decimal places. Is there any impacts of doing that?
Also need to add some currencies which are not in the table. Is there anything need to be careful while doing this. If this table is updated, do we need to update any other tables also which may be impacted?

    Hi,
It is not recommended that when postings have already been made, that a change in the currency be done, as amounts posted can become invalid or incorrect as a result (ie USD 100->1.00), which is most critical in production environment Please go through the note 137626 When you made changes via OY04, the effect of which is across all clients.
To change the number of decimal places for a currency already in use, you must convert all the tables in the R/3 System that contain currency fields, so that the data integrity remains. This cannot, however, for both organizational reasons and under the runtime aspect, in a productive system.
You must never change decimal places in a productive system if you have documents posted with this currency. Such a change could lead to inconsistencies in these documents already posted.
In case you really decide to use decimals you may consider to use SAP conversion services for them to convert all documents aready posted as explained in note 434349.
    Additional inforamtion:
Note No.  137626 - FAQ: Decimal places for currency codes
126857 - Display of amts with correct decimal places in SE16
53206 - Processing of currency fields

  • Changing Decimal Places in CUNI

    hello,
my company's requirement as of the moment is to increase the decimal places being displayed during service request for Activity Unit (AU).  current setup is 3 decimal places.  we need it to at least 10 to ensure almost exact computation.
i tried changing the decimal places in TC CUNI, but it wouldn't let me proceed.  Per error message the ISO code for AU is similar with PC, which is PCE.  Upon checking in DEV, PC has no ISO code, but it has in PRD (PCE).
    1. how do i go about the ISO code error?
    2. what is the impact of changing the decimal places now that the system is live for 8 months now? will it affect existing POs?
    3. if it is no longer advisable to change the setup, how will we dispose the difference between the billed amount of contractor against the amount generated during GR/IR and MIR7?
    thanks in advance, gurus.

thank you for your inputs, Jeevan.  we've tried up to 100,000 since any more will make the PO exceed the original contract amount.
the contract involved will be delivered in a span of many months, and billing and payments will depend on percentage of completion.
i hope someone can enlighten me as to how other companies do it, best practice or not.  i'm pretty sure those in construction or property development will find this case familiar. or maybe point me to an article or anything.
thank you for taking the time.

  • Custom decimal places in OBIEE Presentation Services

    Hello All,
In the OBIEE presentaion services for a column of type number there is an option to override the default data format.
In this option in the decimal places we have a value "up to 6".
Is there any way I can change this to "up to 10" (at the backend) because the user data has 10 places of decimals.
    Thanks
    Neerupama

    Hi,
Specify the decimal places using override option and select save and you will see two options
    1) wide default for Table.Column
    2) wide default for this data type.
First one will apply this formatting only for this particular column whereas the second one will apply this formatting for all fields having same data type.

  • Can not change the number of decimal places in the normalization of result

    dear all
i want to see the proportion of some data, for example, the income of May is 300, and the total income is 1000, i need to display it like 33.33% . so i set the
Calculate single values as normalization of result, and then it display 33.333%, i like to display only two number of decimal places, so i set the number of decimal places as 0.00, but i doesn't work, it still display three decimal numbers.
maybe you say i can use the percentage function like %CT %GT %RT, but i need to allow external access to my query, so the i can not use those functions.
can somebody helps me ? your advice is appreciated.

hi,thanks for your advice, but that doesn't suit for my problem.
before i set the normalization of result, i can change the decimal values. After that i cann't.
In your thread, someone proposes use the T-code OY04. but this wouldn't help. As i change to other key figure, such as user quantity, when i set normalization of result, it still display 3 decimal values.
i think the point maybe lie in the normalization of result. please advise... thanks...

  • Changing GR/IR clearing account in Service Entry Sheet process

    Hi,

Now for clear process we want to create new account for the Service entry sheet.
We have given blank valuation class for Service entry sheet and it has been assigned to the g/l account.
After analysing the scenario we had two options.1.  Whether we can change the valuation class

But i had a doubt will it impact anywhere if i change the valuation class.
    Can anybody advice me??
    Thanks n regards,

    Dear Javeed and Sadhashivan,
Thanks for your answers. Yes we have sort key set on both the accounts and also we have tried to display all the PO relevent fields but unable get through.
Please note we need PO no line wise on the ledger of adjustment accounts NOT on the GR/IR account.
