Default operation on CUCM V9.1.2 after migration ESXi5.1

Hello
Following migration of CUCM and Unity Connection V8.5 to V9.1.2 we meet a very important problem of slowdown on the CUCM Publisher Web interface. The servers used UCS C210 M1 are with ESXi 5.1
The slowdown makes it virtually unusable administration interface on the Publisher.
At the moment, using the Web interface Subscriber normally navigates the administration menus.
It is possible that this slowdown "cache" something more serious about how the Call Manager.
In addition, it fails to see the services from the publisher subscriber.
An error message appears preventing access to services of the Publisher.
"Unable to access remote node".
1 - Do you have some ideas to look to find the cause of these slowdowns Publisher?
In addition, we find a fault on the line positions 8945 version:
"8941_8945-cmterm-sccp.9-3-4-17.cop.sgn"
Since we migrated to CUCM v9.1.2, we have some IP phones that have this version and are stuck with the "mail" button no longer works.
Unfortunately, we can not change the version as an error message appears consistently on the job.
We tried the "Factory Reset" without success.
2 - Do you have a solution that would restore an earlier version of this model post 8945?
Thank you for your help.
NB: Excuse me for my English a little light.
Cordially

Can you also check the LRO settings?   Although it's not required in your scenerio to disable LRO the documentation does mention you could disable it if you are experiencing tpc traffic problems..

    Hi Ali,
I'll just add this reference to the good tips from my friend Manish (+5)
Support for the 7800 series in CUCM 8.6.2 was first added with this
    Device Pack;
    Cisco Unified Communications Manager
    Device Package 8.6(2)(24104-1)Release Notes
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Device Package Release 8.6(2)
adds support for the Cisco IP Phones
    7821, 7841, and 7861 running SIP firmware release 10.1(1).
The steps are in this doc

  • How to change the 'Default operating mode' of a mapping on the repository and not from the client

    Hi everybody,
I am using OWB 11.2.0.3 and under the mapping's configuration property, I have the necessity to change the Run time parameter "Default operating mode" to SET_BASED in almost all my mappings.
Because I have 745 mappings in which the Default operating mode is different from SET_BASED, instead to open 745 times the 'Configure' and update manually the value, is there a way to update safely these values (with an oracle predefined script) directly on the repository ?
I know that exists a view called CMPSTRINGPROPERTYVALUE_V based on a table called CMPSCOPrpClasses, but changing this table it's very complicated for me because contains only keys and then I don't know in which way is connected with all the other structures....
If somebody knows a method more efficient to do these updates on the repository and not from OWB client I will appreciated it!
    Thanks in advance
    Alessandro

    Urgent... help!!! Thanks
in short, my server log says transaction access mode is "read only", so my calling home.create() always triggers a transaction rollback. How to change the access mode to "read write"?
Is possible to work out through one of the descriptor files? Or ini settings of the underlying pointbase database? Or any other way around?

Some time ago, one crashed my computer and I had to reinstall the operating system and all applications.
After I had installed once Acrobat 9 Sdt in the computer, I wanted to update the software version 9.0.0 update to the same level as it was before the crash and that the other computer has version named 9.5.5.
The system for update from version 9.0.0 does not work at all. "There are no updates" listed in the dialog.
Can you advise how I get my Adobo Acrobat 9 Standard (Version 9.0.0) could be updated to the same level as the computer had before the crash.

  • Default Operation in Breakdown Order

    Dear Masters,
I am getting one operation as defqult in the order while creating an order which is having the text same as that in the order description. Why is the system adding this operation as default?
What are the configural steps to be followed to stop this default operation to be created?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
There is nothing wrong in using this default operation.
If you have 10 operations, work centers & activity types may be different. If you are using activity based costing, if cost per activity are different, you should go with 10 different operations.
Because, cost will be calculated based on the activity & activity based costing maintained in KP26.
If you ve single activity & single work center, then you can use single operation by summing up all the work in single row. Even confirmation will be easy in this case.

I am having Macbook Pro, I have recently tried updating my operating system to OS Yosemite, but after that its giving problem in connecting to Wifi. The error is "Connection Time out Occurred". Its getting connected by Ethernet cable.

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved. Some of these steps are only possible if you have control over the wireless router.
    Step 1
Turn Wi-Fi off and back on.
    Step 2
Restart the router and the computer. Many problems are solved that way.
    Step 3
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
    Step 4
    Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
    Step 5
In OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and fix the issues listed in the Summary, if any.
    Step 6
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.
    Step 7
You may need to change other settings on the router. See the guidelines linked below:
Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    Potential sources of interference
    Step 8
Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
    Step 9
Reset the System Management Controller (SMC).

  • Information About Default Operating Mode

    Hello,
Someone can help me and give me a good documentation that explain what do the SETBASED mode, ROWBASED, ROWBASED (target only), with schemas it will be exellent.
I know a little the differences between but i will to learn that in detail.
I ask that because we have to make programs that are the most optimize (time of execution) and the Operating Mode is very important.

When a mapping runs in a set-based mode, the rows are processed as a single dataset, with a single SQL statement that is either completed successfully for all the rows or fails if there is a problem with even one row. This is generally the fastest way of processing data.
When a mapping runs in a row-based mode, the data can be extracted from the source one at a time, processed and inserted in the target. If there is a problem with some rows, this is logged and the processing continues.
Needless to say, the set based operating mode is faster in all cases, while the row based operating mode gives more control to the user, both in terms of logging row-by-row processing information as well as in terms of control over the management of incorrect data.
The default operating mode is the set based, fail over to row based mode in which Warehouse builder will attempt to use the better-performing set-based operating mode, but will fall back to the more granular row-based mode if data errors are encountered. This mode allows the user to get the speed of set based processing but when an unexpected error occurs it allows you to revert to row based mode.
The operating modes Row Based (Target Only) and Set Based Fail over to Row based (Target Only) are a compromise between the set based and the row based modes. The ‘target only’ modes will use a cursor to rapidly extract all the data from the source, but will then use a row-based mode to insert data into the target, where errors are more likely to occur. These modes should be used if there is a need to use the fast, set based mode to extract and transform the data as well as a need to extensively monitor the data errors.
I am currently writing a paper on OWB performance, and if you are interested, drop me an e-mail ([email protected]) and I will send you a draft version of it.

  • Change default operator

    Hi,
Is there any way we can change the default operator for BW selection option variables? Operators are sorted alphabetically and we would like to default to Equal and not Between, which is the initial/default operator.
    We're using BI 4.1 SP3 and BW 7.3 SP10.
    Thanks!
    Sonni

    Hi Sonni
Unfortunately the default cannot be changed. The list is alphabetic and "Between" happens to be first in the list.
Having said that, several customers have now mentioned this so I think we should investigate what we can do.
Can you contact support and raise a ticket please? Also reference this thread.
    Kind Regards

When I am trying to download an app, my friend's APPLE ID is popping up by default as he had used it first after purchase of the instrument. How to change this  default ID to my ID?

All purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID that originally bought them and will require it to update in the case of Apps.
If you don't want to be using your friends Apple ID, I suggest the following:
    Settings->General->Reset->Erase All Content and Settings.
Then set up the iPad with your Apple ID as new.
Alternatively you can just go to Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID->Sign Out, and then Sign in with your own.
But again Apps will still request your friend's Apple ID to update every time.

  • Default operating system?

I successfully installed Windows 7 on my MBP. (Trackpad still slow though) However, I noticed that whenever I reboot the computer it automatically boots into Windows. The only time I can go into Mac OS X is when I press the Option key. Is there anyway i can make Snow Leopard the default operating system?
    Thanks in advance!

Select it from the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences or the Startup Disk control panel, or start up with the X key held down.

  • I exposed MiniNT as the default operating system. XP wont start

I have a thinkPad T61 that I now updated with SP3 but I managed to mess up my partitions and more specifically the bootup partition. I am not sure what I did but when my PC boots up I now go directly into Rescue and Recovery.
I tried to start up the PC with my XP install CD and went for R (Recovery). Somehow these are the repair options
    1: c:\MiniNT
    2: d\Windows
Clearly I have exposed the  c\MiniNT as the default operating system and that is why I now boot up in ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery.
I would really appreciate if somebody has some hints on how to fix this
    Thanks you

I've tried installing, reinstalling and removing and installing itunes 9.1 but the program will not start. I have clicked on the desktop shortcut, the itunes.exe in the program folder but all i get is a brief loading hourglass and then nothing. I have checked in task manager and the programs itunes.exe and ituneshelper.exe are in the processes window but the program is not visible on the desktop.
Starting some basic-principles troubleshooting here, if you're game.
The first thing to try isn't a cure in itself, but can rule out some possible causes of problems, and narrow in on others. We're going to check to see if this is a systemwide issue or if it is specific to one particular user account.
From the Start menu, choose Control Panel.
Open Add or remove user accounts (If using the Classic View in Windows Vista, open User Accounts. Then open Manage another account).
Select Create a new account and follow the instructions to complete the account setup process. Give the new user account full administrative rights.
Once the new account is created, choose Log Off from the Start menu. Log into the newly created user account. (Don't use fast user switching to move between accounts.)
Launch itunes in the new account. The setup assistant will/should run. Do not add any files when prompted to do so (if things get that far). Just let it eventually open to an empty library.
... does it eventually open to an empty library? Or do you get the same sort of behavior as in the usual user account?

  • Difference in behavior of sql and pl/sql after migrating from 9i to 11g

after migrating our database from oracle 9i to oracle11g, the developpers are worry that the behavior of the queries and pl/sql procedures/functions will change
    example :
in 9i, select salary, count(*) from emp group by salary, it will display the rows sorted by salary
in 11gi, select salary, count(*) from emp group by salary, it will display the rows not sorted by default, we have to add the clause order by salary.
somebody could give the list of other difference in behavior (SQL and PL/SQL) agter migrating from 9i to 11g
    Thanks a lot.

Tell your developers: garbage in - garbage out. In relational databases only ORDER BY ensures row order. If your developers relied on GROUP BY implemented by SORT and therefore returning ordered rows they had to realize code they wrote is Oracle release dependent and sooner or later code would require changes. And that "sooner or later" is now reality. In newer versions ORACLE can do GROUP BY via SORT or via HASH. And if it is done via HASH - don't expect ordered results. So tell your developers "payback time".

  • Issue in Custom Blog site definition based on SharePoint 2010 blog site definition after migrating the sites to SharePoint 2013 and site collection upgrade

I have created a custom blog site definition using SharePoint 2010 blog site definition with Configuration ID 31 in onet.xml (new value). This was working fine for SharePoint 2010.
We created new SharePoint 2013 farm and deployed the all Custom solutions in
14/15 folders. After migrating the sites to SharePoint 2013 using Content DB approach, site created previously using my custom definition are working fine.
But after running site collection upgrade these sites stop working. When I post a comment then comments not getting listed on post detail page. However comments are getting added to Comments List but
PostTitle column  of Comment is not getting populated.
Also, when we create a new site in SharePoint 2013 using my custom blog template then that is also not getting provisioned.  default.aspx and look-up between post and comment list are not working.
If any one has faced such issue then please share your findings and any solution to fix this.
    Thanks in Advance :)

    Hi ,
According to your description, my understanding is that the blog based on custom blog site definition didn’t work correctly after migrating custom blog site definition to SharePoint 2013.
If you customized the Onet.xml file in a previous version's site definition, you should modify some sections in the file to work in the current version, like  <BaseTypes> and  <ListTemplate>  etc. More information, please refer
    to the link below:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/aa543837(v=office.14).aspx
For that the PostTitle column  of Comment is not getting populated, please try to modify the view, then compare the result.
    I hope this helps.
