Delete planning function in plan workbook

I had one query about how the deletion function should be used in plan workbook. in the plan workbook, the user would like to be able to delete the selected line / combination from plan workbook and plan cube. The options what I come up with is :
1. use macro to get the selected line in workbook and transfer the value to delete planning function (will be executed by clicking the button in workbook).
2. create another sheet, and require the user to enter the combination for which they want to delete and then get it deleted by clicking the button (delete planning fucntion will be triggered).
Could you please let me know if there is any better solution for this? And if would like to go with option 1, where I could get the sample or sample macro code?
many thanks
Jonathan

Hi, Jonathan
Maybe will be enough just make the key figure equal to zero and then save this value without any macros?

  • Read Planning Workbook content from ABAP

    Hi guys,
This is really a complex query that I bring to the table and might be quite hard to be solved.
I have a table with a lot of values in the planning workbook like workbook name, user and different other stuff.
These need to be brought to BW. Unfortunately, I understood this isn't possible via a query or something else, so I'm looking for ways in which I can:
    a) Use the ABAP variable exit coding so that I can read the cells directly from the workbook
    b) Use VBA and call sapbex.xla or BexAnalyzer.xla methods so that I can call my own ABAP functions or at least make the values from these cells available in BW.
I require all this info when the user saves the workbook.
Any help would be highly appreciated and don't hesitate to ask for clarifications if you find my description confusing.
    Best regards,
    George

    Hi,
why do you need this information in the backend? What happens when you re-open the workbook? Do you need to load it again from the backend to the frontend or do just need to overwrite the information you have stored in the backend?
There are possibililties to create z-function modules (RFC) and to call them from the BExAnalyzer. Did you already check this? Please try searching for "Excel SAP RFC site:help.sap.com" e.g. using google to find more information about this topic.

  • Delet plan order through mass processing (cohv)

    hello,
PP experts i want the solution for deletion of plan orders in the transition cohv
in the COHV transition  the mass processing selection do not have the function
    technically complete for plan orders.
plase tell me how the function tech. complete can be created for the plan orders in the COHV.
    regards,
    mangesh

    Mangesh,
As suggested by fellow forum members "MD16" is the only possible option in Standard SAP to delete planned orders in mass.
If you need anything other than that you need to go for your own custom program to do the way you want.
Please close the thread after rewarding points for answers which helped you.

  • Report to delete planned orders

    Dear Friends,
Can anyone tell me which is the transaction to run the delete from live cache to delete planned orders.
    Thanks
    Vinay

    HI Vinay,
Yes, you can delete the planned orders from either product view (rrp3) or receipts view (rrp4). I guess, the planned orders now are coming with the 'firm' indicator and using product view you cannot delete fixed orders.
    Which version you are working?
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Delete Planning Cost/Revenues and Balance Sheet Data

    SAP Gurus,
Does anyone knows how to delete Planning data related to Cost/Revenues and Balance Sheet Under Prift Center Accounting?
I already found the Cost center side KP90 and KP91, but unable to find the Profit Center side.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I think KP90 / KP91 are not just for cost centers - they are to delete PCA, PA planning as well.  In KP90, you can restrict deletion for given cost elements.  KP91 is to delete data for all cost elements in a given planning version / fiscal year.

  • Deleting Planning Profitability thru KP90 and KP91

    SAP Experts,
I am trying to delete plan data in one of our plan versions, I used tcode KP90 & KP91, However, when I go to run reports to view what was deleted, I noticed that all Costing was deleted with the exception of Profitability. I read varios  SAP notes but they do not apply to our version SAP 700. We do not have COPA implemented yet, so I do not have any data there. Does anyone knows what steps am I missing? I also tried reversing any allocated profit centers thru 4KEB, I reversed them, but data still shows up in my reports. I tried copying a blank version also and still there is some data that do not get deleted.
    ANy help will be aprpeciated
Edited by: Frank on Nov 20, 2008 5:15 PM

We figure it out, we had to reverse profit centers by using tcode 4KEB, then KP90 and KP91.
Then copy your plan data first with tcode KP97, then 7KEV, the order in which you do it is important.

  • Indicator "delete planned order" is set during conversion

    Hello Guys,
While during Partial conversion of production error thru MD04, system shows the error message as indicator "delete planned order" is set. Whats the cause for this error How come we solve this issue . It's very most urgent Please PP gurus let me know the solution. Thanks in advance.
    Thanks...

    Dear Raja,
If I have understood your problem correctly, then i Guess in the partial conversion screen, directly you are able to set the delete
indicator and save the data. But remember that for the same planned order quantity the system generates a production
order ,along with the planned order number linked to it ,when you do this deletion activity and save.
You can check in MD04 with the available production orders and in the assignment tab page you can check the planned order
    number also.
    Check and revert back.

But after conversion of planned orders to process/production order the planned orders will get deleted. The planned orders data can be found fromAFPO table. But manually deleted planned order data can't be found out.
    Hope this can help.

  • KEPM....Delete plan values..

    Hi Experts-
Here i am facing on eissue pls suggest....
In KEPM i did planning for 2011, that is updated with wrong values and with wrong combination......
I have deleted all steps in KEPM, but still i am getting those values in KE30 report....pls guide me how to delete plan values...
Pls suggest how to delete those values and what steps need to take in planning?
    Thanks
    Chandu

    Hi Reddy Anna
You can use transaction KE1C in order to delete planning data.
But transaction KE1C does not phyically delete entries made in table CE2xxxx. The method used in this situation is the reversal method (the line item is reversed out of the table by posting a negative line item).
If you want to delete these line items totally then I would suggest that you use the archiving transaction SARA. This will reduce the table size.
You also have a delete option in KEPM but this is normally for large volume of data and you can check if it is useful in your case.
You could also use KE13N to post the delta to edit/correct the entries. For example for customer A and product B you have revenue of 1000 (but it should be 900). In that case you can post a line item of -100 so that the result is 900.
You can see which option is most suitable for you

  • Undo Option in Planning Workbook

    Hello Techies,
I have created a Planning Workbook and cells are input ready(Editable Mode),
Now further i type values into the Input Ready Cells and move on to the next cell, here if i want to do a "CNTRL + Z" or "UNDO"
    I cannot perform it.
Excel Undo Option gets disabled and i cannot undo the entries using the CNTRL+Z keys.I have to manually go to that cell and do the changes.
Is there any way to Achive this in planning workbook.
    Qucik Response would be Appreciated.
    Regards
    Kiran

    Hi Kiran,
You can use a button for the plannign operation "Reset data", which resets the planning layout data.
Then you will get actual data of the query before modifications. But this is for is all previosly unsaved modifications and not only for your cell wise "undo".
Check whether this suffices your requirement or post your input again here in this forum.

  • Deleted Planned Order Trace

    Dear All,
I have one query regarding Deletion Of planned order. Is there any Table or report where we can find out deleted planned order. In my scenario there were four planned orders of which user have converted one planned order into production order but other three planned orders are not appearing in Stock and Requirement List ( MD04). I want to trace these three planned orders whether they are deleted by user. I have tried in PLAF table but could not find out.
    Regards
    Sunil Kumar

Planned orders which are created temporally just to calculate the net requirement when you run MRP. Hence if you delete manually there will not be any record. If user has deleted the planned order don’t worry, when you run next MRP run system will calculate the net requirement and create new planned orders.
If you want to restrict the deletion of planned order manually then try with authorization, use the following role
    SAP_MM_CBP_PLANNED_ORDER for MM planed orders
    SAP_PP_MRP_PLANNED_ORDER for PP planed orders.
Or one more option is create a planned order manually in MD11.
